–WHAT THE DEUCE… Still holding out for that “Cancel Task” option. REALLY WANT IT NOW!
–WHAT THE DEUCE… Airlines… yes again. My entire nightmare trip last month just got more exciting. The “Management” that contacted me obviously works at a Call Center similar to the other Gaming Houses I deal with. I know how it works. The email is scanned for ONE word, that word triggers a “scripted response”, rep then does a copy n paste of “scripted response”, and email returned. After about 6 “scripted responses” I went over their heads. I hate doing that, but when I need to reach out to one of my Contacts I will if a serious issue is being passed off. Now there is ACTUAL “Management” involved. All this due to a Customer Service Rep screwing up and losing my ticket in their systems and not wanting to “bother” to call the ticket desk to fix it because “the phone was at other end of desk”. (No joke, actual convo… recorded by THEIR system.) Not wanting to lift a finger for a total of 10 minutes it took someone else to fix the “lost ticket” issue when I got their help… 2hrs later. Because she just didn’t want anymore “customer issues” today. Even though SHE created the issue. She dealt with enough. Move along. NEXT! If only she had spent 10 minutes, I would not have been stranded overnight on other side of Country, no Hotel, no Cab, next day almost missed my now 4th rescheduled flight, and had a nightmare journey… that now has created a more serious issue for them. Patience and kindness… use it people. It goes a long way. This “Customer Service Rep” did not.

WTD@ Belgard not helping immediately with getting Boots. He unlocks with a 12 hour task. Since you have to unlock you’re forced to do it.
WTD@ GUDG only coming out every 24 hours. He has a quest line task to catch him 15 times, so that means it will take me 2 weeks. I better get like 50 Clams when this is completed.
WTD@ at the game not remembering me chequeing in 4 Rangers last night so I can finish getting tickets for Alice last night before I went to bed. I delayed shutting of the game for 30 seconds and it didn’t register. Now I have to wait 2 extra hours.
WTD@ if Bunny’s theory is correct about people in Week 2 having access to the Leaderboard to rise high in the rankings. It should be a Week 3 or higher exclusive.

For those who unlock Belgard with 6 spare hours before sleep, you can do his 2 hour task 3 times to get him level two which will allow him to get Boots. His side quest can wait until later.

I just don’t understand why people are so freaked out about the leaderboard. I can understand if the prize was something awesome and rare and useful past the event, like a giant clam that randomly spews out clams, but really, another character skin that is basically worthless?
And OMG, the level of paranoia surrounding the leaderboards is mind blowing! Apparently everyone that is doing better than they are must be cheating or spending a million dollars! The way I see it, is if someone is spending hundreds of dollars on this game, than they deserve to get the skins, and anything else they want out of the game!
And again, I will never understand why the freemium players think they are entitled to everything that the people who are spending the hundreds of dollars are able to get, whether it be characters, buildings, or in the case of the leaderboards, the top prizes. This can be a completely free game, but part of playing it as completely free game is you will never be able to get everything that is offered, nor should you. Why they seem to think that the developers should be honored just because they are playing their game, even though they do not spend any money, is beyond me. That being said, the developers place enough content in their game that is well within the grasp of a freemium player, and so you would think they would be happy, but still there is nothing but bitching and complaints about how others get more than they do. Yes, the people who spend more money get more stuff, and such is life in general! Just showing up will never get you as much as those who either spend a lot of money or work extra hard, and again, that is exactly how it should be!

What the deuce, TinyCo? How am I supposed to get Starlight Express Peter?
Don’t you know that I’m a huge train enthusiast since childhood and watch musicals monthly? Six months from now, I would still be playing with Starlight Express Peter everyday!
It would be different if I didn’t care about all that. I mean, if I didn’t know who Andew Lloyd Webber was and put SE Peter away after the event never to be seen again, and only wanted him because he’s shiny and new… well, that’d be stupid.

Not even attempting to get blammies…couldn’t care less about the leader boards. I don’t like mutliplayer type events, so when it comes to leader boards or “friends” competitions I just ignore them. Especially cause I have no friends in FGQFS or TSTO. Couldn’t care less about 10 clams, 1000 cash or a Peter outfit. Sure I would love the 2500 glowsticks, but luckily I had the 5 minute concert glitch advantage and got like 5000 with that when it was active. I have 5200 right now but have yet to purchase the Hostile and will not. I want Weird Al and that is it, maybe GUDG if he’s available.
I just wish we knew what future costs would be. Would make planning easier. If you knew the glowstick cost of Weird Al or whatever other character is coming you could decide if you wanted the hostile or whatever.

The “Attempting to display completion modal for non existant reward” glitch still hasn’t been patched and can’t progress with the quests! Yes, I took the risk but if it wasn’t allowed, don’t give us the option…!

So I’m screwed and probably never going to get to play events. Tinyco will not answer my email. I explained the problem and included my id. They mail back, asking for the id! Are you kidding me? I re-write it and ask if this is not the id they need and I have received NOTHING. Pathetic. I feel like I wasted money.

I really wish they would assign item dropping tasks to previous events characters during an event. That way people that took part and bought premium characters would have a slight advantage over people that are new or didn’t get the premiums.
There would still be all the normal ways of getting the items for freemium players, but it would give those old characters some added value and a way of not feeling worthless after their event is over.

Just my luck – I’ve been dropped into a leaderboard group with just ten other “active” players, but where the top-ranked player already has a HUNDRED AND FIFTY-TWO Blammys. I’m still at least 2,000 glowsticks away from even buying Tomik’s building, which means I’m at least four days away from unlocking Alice with the stupid rare drop on the boots.
All that means no Starlight Express Peter for me. Sigh.

WTD!! Has the drag’n’drop function been removed for all characters just because tinyco wouldn’t leave a helpful glitch in the game?
Not a single character produces an arrow pairing anymore (believe me, I’ve tried them all!!) so what’s the point of even having the ability to pick up the characters.
And another thing… I play mostly on an iPhone 5s currently running iOS 8.4.1
Is it just me or does your screen sometimes flip to the other end of town for no apparent reason. What’s with that? Is it a touch setting I don’t know about?

Does it to me, too. It seems to help if I have the phone on a steady surface (table or knee) and try to aim straight down when I tap. Maybe when there is a horizontal component to the angle of tap, the phone thinks we want to swipe.

Aw yeah, it’ll be 20 years before I get 4,000 glowsticks at the rate they’re dropping. Week 1 and 2 I was thinking hey, these drop rates are pretty good. I can get all the characters! Week 3 comes back, and welp, I guess not.

Oh man, I started a new job yesterday and the only person available to train me was this brain dead slacker guy. No one understands how he keeps his job. First thing he said to me as my trainer: “Ok, I don’t want to talk to you. I don’t want to explain stuff and I don’t care. Just don’t talk to me unless you have a question.” I couldn’t believe this guy! He proceeded to follow me around all day and not lift a finger while I did all the work. All the other trainers helped our their trainees and I’m just like, omg…….Then he tried to pick a fight with another trainee at quitting time for no reason at all. At least they apologized and said they wouldn’t let him train anyone again…next time will definitely be better then!

What the deuce! Give me the last hacky sack already! I was at 5/6 hacky sacks 3 days ago…Rapper Brian is now down to 24 hrs and still no hacky sack! I’m sick of these bee girls!
And also, WTD! Didn’t get to play an encore before Alice took over!

I was getting hacky sacks from the red-headed bee girls every other clear until I had enough for Brian. Make sure you are not clearing dark bees, they won’t produce hacky sacks. If you’re sure you’re not doing that, something is wrong. Try powering down your device for starters, maybe that will reset something.

The Boots! They are sooo rare I only have one pair so far, and cant fathom out a way of getting enough glowsticks to get Belgard so Peter on a very long task for a very very rare item (when I need him to complete other tasks too) is the only way to get them. Would have been nice if the boot shop dropped them.

Ok I have been thinking about it ever since the Q&A with tiny Matt talking about premium characters and them not being used to help in new events . He explained that it was a lot of work to do to make that older premium character apart of newer events
(To drop items etc.)
Also I got the feeling that tiny co wasn’t worried about this at all and that it would not be added to the game (well at least not soon)
Personally as a premium player this gets me so mad! Why should I even bother purchasing these characters when after the event they are introduced in they pretty much will be living in storage! I always bought premium characters not just to have but the hope that they would help in newer events! And to say its a lot of work…. REALLY isn’t that the point! It was a lot of work to get my money at my JOB to pay for these characters! But I would think tiny co job would want to make premium players feel valued and wanted.
All I ask is that tiny co throws in a couple premium characters during events to help with dropping items needed that’s the whole reason I bought them!!
As I said reading tiny matts answer was very disappointing and I will no longer be a premium player.
Don’t get me wrong I love the game an will keep playing the game without spending money but you need to make people who spend cold hard cash like they are appreciated and not just y’all’s pay check! I have sent an in game complaint about this issue and haven’t heard back for almost over a week.
Now to get to this event! I love it! Weeks one and twos drop rates were fair and surprisingly fast (at least for me ) but now that we are on week 3 and you look at Alice cooper and his boots…I start to worry. Not just because peter being the only person to drop them plus being needed in so many quest lines. Plus only having 1,500 glow sticks means I can’t get the 4,000 glow stick man.
Plus not being able to do concerts till I get Alice cooper I feel like by the time I get Alice the next singer will be out and I won’t be able to any concerts just like last week with joe loin I didn’t do one concert with him but was able to further threw the quest line

RE: Alice Cooper. Great news! You’ll for sure be able to do his concert this time. Contrary to some comments that have been made here about having plenty of time to unlock him, Cooper will have to be unlocked to proceed to the next phase of content unless they change the requirement that we need to complete the main questline for this weeks content in order to move along to the next phase. Part 5 of this weeks main quest is Hold an Alice Cooper Concert. So, while it is accurate to say that there’s still 25 days to unlock him, if we want to see the next few weeks of content he will need to be unlocked sooner than later. But hey, at least you’re for sure going to get to do that concert this time!

Yep, with you on that about the response from TinyCo. Essentially, they don’t want to invest the time/money to set it up. Like you, I have changed from playing the game as a premium player to freemium as I see no long term gain and decided it isn’t worth spending money just to have something that helps for 2 weeks. I know that as a company TinyCo need to make money but I feel that if more long term players adopt that attitude, they are going to be losing revenue. The flip point is that the turnover of players is so great that the balance can be tipped by new players spending more before realising there is no long term gain. Either way, TinyCo must have made the decision thinking they can maintain their revenue and so decide not to change the way premium characters are used which is fine, it is their choice. However, if I’d known that when I started playing when the game was first released I wouldn’t have bought half the characters I now have roaming the game.

I don’t know what metrics Tinyco uses to determine the leaderboard pairings, but I got put into a super hard core group I can not hang with. Not fun at all.
I think the glowstick prize should go to lower ranked players instead if coins. If you can finish in the top 2 you don’t need that many glowsticks anymore than I need the stupid coins I am sure to get stuck with.
Odds are I am going to get screamed at and/or written up at work because of bad decisions made by others on my day off.
Put in an application for a job where I more than meet every criteria they wanted. Never even got called for an interview. Ouch. Really sucks because it was the first decent job I have seen in a year.
I collect pins. They did blind boxes with 2 pins recently. They decided to stuck in a super rare limited pin randomly. Some people have opened as many as 5 of the pins. I could afford only 2 boxes. I got the worst 2 boxes In have seen posted.

No. MANY jumped only due to they were on Avril or Joe. But they will be stuck soon again too once complete as Alice will take over the stage.

I’m on an ipad 2 with ios 8.3. The game is constantly freezing up or crashing. Think it’s about time I sprung for the ipad air 2….if only I didn’t buy so many clams…..sigh….

So am I the only one who thinks those blonde fan girls drop way too few glow sticks ? Taking into account that with every spawn I earn like 7 glow sticks, how will I ever pay the 4k character? The female fans drop endless amounts of coins, but I don’t need those since I have like 3 million and can’t spend it on anything. Wtd. Also leaderboards, c’mon TinyCo wtd.

My only what the deuce is that I never now how many guitar picks i have. The leader board is kinda funny how many people are in the 200’s and I’m only at 11 and the last prize is 1,000 coins????? I have over 3,000,000 coins what the deuce is 1,000 coins gonna do for me😂. Tiny co at least make last place 10 clams for a lot of people like me who can’t afford clams all the time. 1,000 coins is like a slap in the face. And dont get me started on the redeeming an album, i am so POed that my browser isn’t supported for play store anymore. It’s been awhile, thanks for letting me vent B&A.

Really enjoy this game and always keep a good perspective about it just being a simple game to mix into my day. It is rare I have a Duce moment, but …
Tiny co has got to build in a catch page for spending clams! Tsto added a nice function to ask “are you sure you want to spend doughnuts on…?” If tinyco really cares about its players– why oh why can’t this function be added? I have early morning fuzzy eyed fat fingered myself out of 240 clams on an item and speed up task that I didn’t want. (Yes I made an in game request and received a generic non reply) I suggest to new players, don’t stockpile clams for down the road purchases. Purchase more in a just in time fashion.
On the bright side, love the consuela vacuum tool! 🙂

Sooooooo I was super excited to get the email yesterday to play FGQFS on FB so I whipped out my laptop JUST to play it on a larger screen…..and it DOES NOT WORK…. What the duce??? I’ve cleared my browser catch switched browsers and it still does not work. I can’t click on anything or navigate around. After the 10 reload most of the buttons I see on my mobile game are on screen but I can’t expand to full screen so I can get rid of this fb banner that takes up about 1/4 of the screen.

WTD ? I have only one road strip in my game and now it is crowded with way too many creatures! Very difficult to find the exact creature needed and almost impossible to clear fans during concert without annoying pop ups.

I ended up going back to my original road layout for that reason. I only have a few roads, but really need them to spread all the walkers and runners and hoppers out or else it interferes with poofing the fan girls during a concert. I put my characters on indoor tasks as much as possible, but that doesn’t help much with the congestion from the others that keep spawning.

WTD@ TinyCo giving Alice Cooper a task to get items via concerts you can’t do. This would make sense if the game didn’t lock you out of doing concerts with other characters.
WTD@ the weak Leaderboard prizes. Outside of getting Starlight Express Peter there really is no motivation to work on it. They should have broken down the prize brackets more to: 1, 2-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20 and 21-30. The top 10 would have solid prizes to work for with the rest being participation.
WTD@ at players getting 80-100+ Blammies in less than 24 hours. I know TinyCo fixed the secret shows, but I still don’t like it. I worked all day yesterday at gaining Blammies using Bee Keepers non-stop and was only able to get 31. People have stated they got 100+ without cheating, which is impossible with pretty much only one source to get them. It cost like 28 Clams to fast forward 4 Keepers after immediately putting them into the cheque, so to get to 100 the player would be spending $100s on Clams.

The higher numbers are not due to secret shows. Those disappeared a while ago, before Blammies appeared. They just mean that the person was late getting out of Phase 2 and so was able to do concerts/encores when they added the Blammies and leaderboard to the whole game (not just phase 3). They weren’t locked out of the stage until completing the questline and going to phase 3. I’m temporarily No. 1 for that reason, but the others will unlock Alice before I do and catch up.

I don’t really care because the Grand prize is just a character skin that I really don’t care about,, But seriously who spends that amount of clams on a simple skin? the person in second place has 65 Blammy’s,, LOL
I really do hope the guy in first place is a hacker and gets his account deleted.
I am fine with people who don’t mind throwing huge amount of money into this game, it is good for the developers of the game, but when people cheat to get top prizes I really hope they lose it all.
Please Tinyco be thorough in you investigations of these leader boards,, And yes I have sent in a request to Tinyco to investigate my leader board.

I can’t do a concert because I have yet to unlock Alice Cooper, but even those who payed Clams to unlock Alice Cooper so he could do concerts right away, there is no way to Clam speed a concert (is there?) so ho9w does one get 346 Blammy’s so fast?

The player in position 1 on my leader board is at 108 blammie. Second place is at 78. I’m in 9th with 12 blammie & either tied or not that far ahead of the rest of the pack.

I agree so much with the scripted and automatic responses. I have had several that were a huge waste of time as they either redirected me to another company(I was trying to buy something on the PSN store, but there was a bug with the content which had to go back to the game company), who turned out to be a lot faster and more helpful. I also hate waiting for a response, and after weeks, it arrives with some very basic and patronising technical help. I don’t like getting automatic messages based on key words either. I accidentally spent some clams the other day because I was frantically tapping at a concert. A Chumba Wumba spawned, and when I hit it, it went to clear it and so tried to free Stewie. I ended up paying 19 clams to do it. I never meant to hit it as it spawned during my concert. I made a suggestion of either being able to move NPCs that we don’t own, either from events or districts, so that they can be kept out of the way for things like the concerts where they get in the way and are involved in the frantic tapping, or some way of locking them to an area. Ideally, it would be nice if all NPCs were hidden(and maybe characters) during things like concerts, excluding the fans that you need obviously. I don’t mind the difficulty of tapping as many fans when there are NPCs, just that if people tapped as much as I did, they could also end up losing money. I got an automatic response which wasn’t very related, it certainly didn’t help my problem so I said it didn’t answer my question when prompted. A day later I got a message saying that they liked the idea and would pass it on, and I got refunded the clams again. Thanks TinyCo!

Leaderboard. That’s my What the Duece this week. I hope TinyCo reads these because I’ve had it with this game because of the Leaderboards. They take a fun game and make it miserable. It made me go back and look at my iTunes account. I’ve spend over $600 in the last year on this freaking game (I was SHOCKED), you would think that with playing every couple of hours combined with that amount of actual cash I would be in the top few on my “random 30” but, no, I’m not in the top ten. You can put a positive spin on them if you want and say “don’t look at them” but, with the effort I’ve expended, they make me not want to play any more. The good news is that this site put Tapped Out on my radar. I’m switching my efforts into Monorail building.

I just recieved the upgrade to start this new event yesterday. I came here to check out what you guys have come up with, like I usually do, and realize you guys have been playing it for days already. So im just like “what the deuce”. You’ve probably already covered this issue somewhere else, but I haven’t seen it, and im still pissed. Wonder why my phone didnt get the upgrade when everyone else did. errrr.

WHAT THE DEUCE…I was over halfway done with Joe Lion’s Encore when I was thrown into Alice Cooper’s stuff and the stage locked. I think that Tiny Co should let us FINISH what we are working on before they throw us into the next performance! I have had a quest up for over a week wanting me to complete an encore performance and I missed out on picks, bracelets, etc! I could understand if I hadn’t started any of the tasks for performance, but I had already completed half the tasks and had people working on the other tasks to finish the performance. Grrr!!!!

You ladies may not know lots about football or soccer as you americans say, im a supporter of Manchester united (whom you may of heard off), after soending around 120 million pounds on players we coulden’t defeat Newcastle who only had 1pt before.

My what the deuce has been popping up in comment sections of previous posts but I think it’s worth mentioning here:
1) one of Alice Cooper’s tasks for more tickets to unlock him is to hold concerts, but we can’t hold concerts until he is unlocked! So why even list that as a task?
2) Belgard requires 4,000 glow sticks- I’ve spent some money on this game but I think 4,000 is steep, considering characters only pay out usually less than 10 glow sticks per task. It seems the neon sculptures that release the extra glow sticks have gone up in clams and I no longer want to pay that much extra (I usually just buy the 50 clam package here or there on occasion).

WTD …..Peter is currently only character (besides one locked behind a 4k glowsticks wall) to drop that one thing for alice, who I now need to do concerts, without using possibly redflagging secret concerts, to even compete on leaderboard. O and its an 8 hour task for a rare item that 9 are needed to unlock……. tubas anyone…..

I agree, a “cancel task” option would be balls. Also, I’d really like to see a task queue, so that you can line up multiple tasks at a time. (When one task ends, the next task you have on your queue immediately begins, like in the Sims) it would give us back those precious hours lost while sleeping or busy. A guitar pick counter for the peterpalooza event would be cool too.

What the deuce that we have to collect 20 tickets for Alice Cooper, especially considering the free players in this game.
Also, has anyone had any luck with the game on Facebook because I cannot control anything there ? 😦

WTD!! well… I was so relieved that I have no interest in rock stars that I thought I had one month of relax… and then they had the greased up deaf guy in the cover.. I think I need to play to see if he’s some kind of attainable character. Too bad ‘Cause I definitely don’t care about those singers. I even had to google them to see who they are. I hate when characters form the show are event related, that’s what makes them useless later, they are not available for everyone in the future 😦
The event started fine I guess… Even though I know I will send everything into storage when it ends, it was not that bad, until they started -again- the hiring technique. Sending characters to get something to activate another thing.. and then you need 100, it’s sick!!!
WTD!! 4000 glowsticks for the International Hostel and Belgard??? mheeeeeee the truth is, I’m tired of events… just tired.
There is no land to place all the stuff, characters are useless after this, what’s the point??
The only thing I really like so far is the animation from the dancing frog when Peter plays the guitar. It would be nice to keep that task after the event.

I was #1 on the leaderboards last night when I went to bed. Then suddenly this morning I am in second place. Someone scored 70! blammy awards in the 8 hours that I slept. Is that even possible? What the deuce?!

Would Really Like It If Things You Start Would Stick Around…
I Was 10 picks away from getting makeover meg, & poof! it was gone… this happened with the sm cow,, Cleveland jr, & fat lois… clams are too hard to get unless you have TONS of money… I wish they would thinks of the little people who like to play who have time to keep tapping… I would tap for an hour or two if it meant I could get a Cleveland or a lois or one of the older charcaters…

I see a lot of people upset about the leaderboard. I can totally understand as I too am in a group of super achievers way ahead already. However, think on this. They re-released all the characters so far from hard to get events and mystery boxes. Chances are, they will release Peter again for clams.

The story of this new event is Peter trying to catch Greased-up deaf guy by putting on a music festival WTD. I just find the story line to be quite silly. Also leaderboards WTD.
