Hey there Hoppin Toad Lickers!
Phase 3 hit our games and brought with it Rupert and his Mystery Box. With all the interesting New Items inside, I am sure you are wondering just what does each of those items have to offer? Is it worth it to you?
Let’s take a peak at Rupert’s Festival Mystery Box and all you can take a chance at inside of it.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE FESTIVAL MYSTERY BOX?
Just a quick tap on your Shopping Cart Menu Icon and you will be taken to the Event Menu in the game. The First option is the Rupert Festival Mystery Box for 100 Clams. Tap on it and the Festival Mystery Box Pop Up will appear.
WHAT PRIZES ARE INSIDE?
To see what Prizes are inside the Festival Mystery Box, just tap on the Green Button with the Magnifying Glass that says “PRIZES”.

It will take you inside and let you scroll through all the items in there as well as get more information. You can come back here as many times as you need as you Open a Mystery Box to see what all you still have left to win.
Tapping on “OPEN” on either pop up will Open a Mystery Box for the cost of 100 Clams.
MORE DETAILED PRIZE INFO
Speaking of information, let’s take a closer look at each individual Prize that is inside the Mystery Box.
Tomik (Character): He is fully tasked, He does come with a small Questline. He is voiced. He also helps drop Leopard Skinned Boots for Alice Cooper. +1 ALWAYS. More on his questline and tasks in upcoming posts.
Neon Pegacorn (“Building”): Sits on a 3×4 base. Earns 350 Glowsticks & 45xp every 16hrs. “Sparkles” as it sits in your game. Looks pretty cool next to the other Neon Decorations. Good win for the payout if you get it in first few tries.
Oversized Lava Lamp (Decoration): Sits on a 2×2 base. Animated on that when tapped it appears to “glow” more as the Lava moves inside. The Lava moves also as it stands still.
Cleveland’s Hot Chocolate Van (Walking Decoration): Much like other “Walking Decos”, this one will roam your Quahog Streets. It does spit out exhaust and the lights turn on when tapped.
Mindblowing Speaker Tower (Decoration): Sits on a 3×3 base. The speakers appear to be “thumping” while sitting in your town. When tapped on the speakers really shake and blast knocking the guy dancing in front of them to the ground. He gets up, shakes it off, and goes back to moving to the music.
The Materials of course will all depend on what YOU need in your game on whether or not they will be worth it to you. Clams of course make anyone happy.
MY RESULTS
Here are the results I had in my Personal game, yours may vary.
Tomik
Cleveland’s Hot Chocolate Van
Oversized Lava Lamp
Neon Pegacorn
20 Skull Guitar Picks
Mind Blowing Speaker Tower
Personally, I probably would have stopped right at the first Mystery Box as the Character is pretty cool… but I also am all for help with Glowsticks and wanted the Pegacorn for the looks, so I kept going. After I got the Pegacorn I could have stopped again, but for the sake of the site I wanted to see how many more to get ALL the Main items from it. I stopped after the Speaker Tower.
Overall 600 Clams for a full Character, a Glowstick dropping Neon item whose equal costs 700 Clams, along with some other cool decorations… I say it wasn’t a bad outcome at all. Pretty good actually.
There you go. The Basic rundown of Rupert’s Festival Mystery Box and all the items inside.
What do you think of the Mystery Box? Did you give it a try? If so, what results did you get? Let us know.

Don’t hate me, but after a week of deliberation, and only wanting either the character prize or the neon unicorn, I finally bit the bullet and opened the box for a once only attempt.
I got…Tomik 🙂

This box is killing me. I have ran over 1000 clams into it and STILL have not gotten Neon Pegacorn or Cleveland’s Van. No Clam rewards either. 5 or 6 meh repeatable rewards… that’s harsh.
Tomik is cool though. As a characer collector only missing 4 Scary Guys and the Bitches, I HAD to have him no matter what. 🙂
If I have spare clams towards the end of the event after these evil leaderboards, I’ll probably do a pull or few more for the Pegacorn. I love its’ art. 😀

I got really lucky with this box, in order I got;
Tomik
Oversized Lava Lamp
Neon Pegacorn
Mindblowing Speaker Tower
Cleveland’s Hot Chocolate Van
So 500 Clams for all unique items, these are the best results I’ve ever had from a Mystery Box, so I’m pleased with this one.

Usually I get the characters/skins from mystery boxes on the first or second try, but this one took me 8 tries to get Tomik 😆 I did get the pegacorn and 125 clams once, which I’m happy about, I just don’t care for the other stuff in them.

I’m reaaaaally tempted as I’m on the cusp of 100 clams gathered since Trek and reading it seems like most people get something good off the bat now.
But I remember getting a couple mystery boxes during events last year and getting event currency I got anyway.
Not sure I want to chance My Preciouses like that 😐

I went ahead and tried two times with lava lamp then the van so I was happy about the van. I may give it a go if I reach 100 clams which I am at 88 or 90 right now. I am suspecting at least one or two more mystery boxes in the near future for this event. Side note hoping by Thursday I have alice lol.

I hope Stewie’s next skin won’t be in a mystery box or the 1st prize for leaderboard as Tinyco likes to alter their decision as quick as a flying bee. Lol!

I did not have much luck with it but I never have with any mystery boxes, I only wish they would set them up to not repeat anything. I got van, speakers, 250 glow sticks, pegacorn, 250 glow sticks, lava lamp, 6 tickets, 125 clams, 350 glow sticks, 6 tickets, 250 glow sticks, 350 glow sticks, 6 tickets, and finally Tomik. My other game was almost same results ettickets 6 tickets only once and the 250 glow Sticks 6x.

I am curious… do you open one after another after another after another?
I just wonder if pacing provides better results.

I keep going straight through till I have what I wanted out of it … I should give it a try the other way next time lol, it certainly won’t hurt anything try breaking it up.

I was only going to do three tries, got lucky and got the Pegacorn, Tomik, and the Speaker Tower. Love watching the concert goer do a face plant! *chuckle* The Pegacorn is pretty and shiny. Glad I did not get the van, as the moving vehicles and other walking NPC’s are usually in storage anyway, as I get rid of my roads to be able to get the cookie trucks, and now the bee girls and bears, etc…

Lol. I put mine off the Beach and it cracks me up as he goes “WHAP” into the water.

LOL!! Brilliant Idea, Just moved mine near the water, and not only does he flop into the water, he is then hit by a stream of water from the fireboat! *grin*

Got the Hot Chocolate Van first time and Tomik the second and will stop there as that was all I really wanted from the box.

Not too bad at all. I like the Van, but in Inventory to keep out of way of all the other items I got to tap on the roads. 😉

I got Tomik in my 7th box. On the first six boxes I got the neon pegacorn , the van, 6 tickets, the speaker tower, the lava lamp and 20 guitar picks.

This if the first event where I’ve taken a serious stab at the mystery boxes. I got a couple in the Mobster event, but all I got was the cookie serving girl and some event currency.
Just bought some boxes. I got:
Mind Blowing Speaker Tower
125 clams
Oversized Lava Lamp
Cleveland’s Hot Chocolate Van
Tomik
It was the character I wanted, so I’m stopping there. Would have liked the Pegacorn too, but not risking more clams for it.

Not bad at all. I don’t blame you not wanting to risk it. 😉

If I’d gotten Tomik first I’d have stopped right there. The van is also cool and the clams of course are nice since it reduced the overall cost, but the rest of the stuff I’ll probably put in storage once the event ends.

I have opened a few boxes with the sole purpose of trying to get Tomik, and was well chuffed to have gotten him out of 3 of 4 tries. Fun times with way hot chicks at the discotheque! Came really handy with Alice as I’ve read others had trouble getting boots

I thought Tinyco would have learned not to do this after the backlash they got from both consuela and burn out Brian …. But nope cost me 600 clams too and I didn’t get horse got 2 x 250 glow sticks 1 x 6 tickets, lava lamp and hot chocolate van
Horse would have been nice but as I’m down to 600 clams now in saving them for characters
I hope next mystery box is less clams and has no skin or character in

Silly man, I really wish you would pay attention to our conversations we have on these. 😉

I think they have learned a little at least. From reading people’s results here most people got him in the first 1-4 tries, including myself. Also the items and currency seem to be hitting way less for everyone. You seem to have the worst results on here and even yours only took six tries. I remember it taking me something like twelve for consuela. I do agree with you I hate the characters or skins in boxes but at least they are increasing the odds seemingly.

I had roughly the same payouts; I kept after to get the unicorn. I also LOVE that the Hot Chocolate van moves! Pretty happy with this mystery box.
