WTD:gave up on this event when I reached deadmus phase gonna try to unlock charcters and progres as much as I can, sent peter twice to try to get Lorreta ear rings but no luck.Anyway good night and wake me up when the deaf greased up guy burns quahog since he is dropping lighters now.

WTD? Wish I could see my event characters perform some actual concerts! Feel like I am in the role of the poor Venue Janitor who cleans and preps the stage but never gets to see the show. 😦

was only moderately interested in this event. then the boot drop problem. don’t care enough anymore for a real WTD. maybe the next event will be worth investing energy into.

WTD….I am fed up with the game and the drop rates for these characters. I seriously cannot continue at this point. I sent tiny co an in game message expressing my frustration with this event and past events in regards to their drop rates and and the way how the FUN of the game has been taken from the game. It is absolutely ridiculous how the phases are timed and it’s absolutely impossible to get items to drop and move on in time to the next phase.
I need to take a break from the game as its getting very very frustrating. Gonna go ride the monorail in Springfield for awhile. Sorry tiny co, but I’ve reached my end in quahog for now. I’m stepping away for awhile. Hopefully I will be back in the future.
Addicts team, hope i did not cross any lines in this VENT, but thanks for letting me get it off my chest in the WTD post. I needed that :-). You gals / guy do an awesome job on both your sites and even though I’m leaving quahog for awhile, I will still keep on being a loyal reader on both sites. I really need to get out of quahog before I nuke it 🙂
Thanks again for giving me the chance for this closure and I hope tiny co takes this comment seriously and fixes their absurd drops rates and how little characters are used to get items.

WTD I have zombies, chumpa wumbas, fans, bears, frogs, toad users, and bee girls all running around in my town…..way too many loose! And I just got attacked by a bug 😂

I’m sure this has been mentioned by others, but it really would be nice to see concerts give out wayyyyyyyy more glowsticks. Or make the decos we have to buy to do the concerts cost a lot less. Or even better just have ALL the concert/encore requirements be character tasks instead of being forced to buy decos we may not want. decos could be in the market to optionally buy for those who want them. I have been able to do quite a few concerts/encores in previous weeks and never get all the glowsticks back from what is required to do them in the first place.

WTD@ at the heatwave. For the last month I’ve been suffering through 90+ degree whether. Its too hot to go outside and I sweating like crazy.
Bunny, here’s a suggestion. Have a link for WTD always be on the main page like Wicked Glitch. Addicts and myself are too lazy to go down to the bottom of the page and click the link to load older threads to get to the latest WTD thread. If its always where we can see it, it will cut back on WTD posts from intruding other threads, since its where we can always see it.

I said it once, I’ll say it twice… what a boring event!! uninteresting decorations and buildings, most of the new stuff is clam-priced, and we all know that characters are going to be as useless as the other characters from every past event. Again the tuba nightmare now with Leopard platforms, and again the hiring process.. REALLY?? At least I learned my lesson and I’m not paying any more clams on this one, also all the decorations are already in storage (banners, the shark bear, statues, those mushrooms, etc).
As far as I can remember,events used to be fun (Halloween, Xmas, even Valentine’s) there was a balance between premium and freemium buildings, event currency had better payouts, drops were fair, tasks were doable in a week time frame as intended. I hate how people say that you have until the end of an event to unlock a character, if it’s clear that you need to unlock them every week in order to advance. Once you get behind, it’s impossible to catch up. The worst is that now players get behind because of random results or luck, not because of lack of playing.

I agree that they’re gradually destroying their game because all events ever do is teach you not to invest in them. Unless you’re a completeist there’s just no reason to get involved any more.
But buildings and decorations are always boring unless you create some personal attachment to them? And as events go this seems like the most relaxed in some time. I don’t like the theme either but it’s asking far less of the player.
Drops are frustrating because whatever system is behind them is clearly flawed but there are far worse things than logging in every 8 hours to try your luck.

They’re just doing their best to suck the life and money out of you. They won’t stop until the cycle of abuse and “Oh, we’re so sorry for the mistakes!” is broken by our final staunch will to stop paying them for their greed. Stop paying them. They’ll fall in line.

Yea not only do they not spawn enough but then they drop the most worthless thing in the game….coins…..in Tsto it is hard to get enough money to buy buildings sometimes….in fgqs I can’t get rid of millions in coins

Not only is it terrible but it seems that every time I have rangers ready and waiting there’s never a bear and when I don’t have any rangers the bear is always roaming…WTD???

WTD? This morning I woke up 2 boots short of unlocking Alice. Cleared Peter’s overnight boot quest and drew a blank. Said screw it and paid the 36 clams for the remaining 2 boots. When phase 4 came out Thursday I was 3 boots short and in a panic to not fall behind and get Alice faster I paid the 4000 glowsticks to begin to unlock Belgard. I am now regretting that decision. The collection of his shirts feel more like they are on very rare and not rare chance. I have sent Brian and Jerome on their shirt quests about 6 times each since Thursday and have gotten 2. It looks like Belgard is useless outside of the boot collecting and I want a refund on my glowsticks haha.
Also the whole you have until September something to unlock Alice and Belgard so take it easy felt like a big fake out from Tiny once Alice was required to being phase 4.

It is a skin for the founding father tat you were rewarded in part 2 of paddy’s questline. To switch it to the southrn fried father, simply tap the founding father, hit the little green arrow next to the time bar to see the option to change. Or you can tap on it in your inventory and it will change. After you do it you can complete part 3 that asks you to collect from it. I assume that is where you are stuck.

I am still wondering when the heck we are going to place items farther into the ocean. I hate putting boats and islands on land and I ran out of coastline space.

Give your cat the cheese from Ritz Cheese & Crackers Snack Packs. When I was in grade school the cat named Sheba would love to lick the leftover cheese out of them. The cheese is very smooth and creamy, so your cat will digest it before having a chance of coughing it up. It will also keep your cat busy trying to lick everything out of the container.
Yes, my school had cats running around. The owner of the private school had them and were always entering classrooms to hang out to nap.

You could also just get rid of the rug…. 🙂 So much easier to clean kitty upchuck off of bare floors.
Or you could get another cat with an iron stomach who is such a pig that he or she comes running at the sound of kitty upchucking and then eats it all warm. That works the best. Disgusting, but useful. I’ve had several cleanup cats over the years. The current one (Junior Cat) is so speedy at the task that it took me a while to figure out where Senior Cat’s upchuck was going when I was sure I heard him gagging away. (Senior Cat is an easy upchucker.)

Cats lose their ability to digest lactose once they are weaned off their mother’s milk. Feeding a cat dairy products that aren’t lactose-free gives them cramps, gas, diarrhea, etc.

I think aged cheeses are low lactose. Give kitty aged cheddar? Or maybe a tiny bit of a Beano capsule …
Probably a lot of cats do maintain their lactase production if their pet humans given them dairy products regularly, such as milk or cream, just as happens with humans (who also are programmed to shut down lactase production for lactose digestion after weaning). Dunno about lactose content of yoghurt, which is what I’ve given cats since the smell of cow’s milk makes me want to upchuck along with kitty.

I’ve got a couple of WTDs?
Why is it that the same items need to be collected for 2 characters/skins at the same time? And then when you’ve collected them for one character, you have to start all over for the next one. (Carl/DJ Herbert)
Belgard-why can’t we collect items while we build up the glowsticks? Remember schoolgirl Tricia? We were able to do this.
Aside from the boots for Alice, this has been a mostly enjoyable event. Getting Carl was relatively easy.
It’s a shame that you have to continuously remind people to be nice. If anyone wants to get ugly, take it to TinyCo’s Facebook page. I couldn’t believe the venom that was spewed after Fridays outage. 9 out of every 10 posts was “GIVE US FREE CLAMS BECAUSE YOU SCREWED UP”

I think they are waiting until the day before I collect enough clams for Cleveland. Then they will remove Cleveland just before I collect the last clam and rotate in Buzz.

I’m sure this is a lot of people WTD but dang boots where are you ! I have had peter working since Alice came out and I only have 3!! I tried your little trick to send him on another task then seb him. Back to find boots and still no boots! Plus I only have 3,000 glow sticks so I can’t get the 4,000 character grrr! I have sent an in game message to tiny co about the boots and all they say is it is dropping as intended 😦 I was ahead in this event but now I will be a week behind

That’s where I am. Things were going just fine until this Alice boot thing. I now have 5, and I’ve had Peter and nearly 3 attempts a day non-stop. I have 3 clams. I think this is a death sentence for the rest of the event.

Just a warning, the 4,000 glow stick character Belgard needs items to unlock him after you’ve paid for the building, so expect another couple of days before he can be used.
It looks like we were supposed to get started on Belgard straight away when Phase 3 hit but I had nowhere near enough glow sticks to do that after buying all the decos for the concerts.

Not really a WTD, more a curiousity. Here and other sites I keep seeing the leopard skin boots for Alice Cooper referred to as pants. Are they actually called pants in some peoples games or is there just a large number of people not reading what it says in the game or walk-throughs?

I think people are confusing them as some sort of leather pants or leggings due to their length. But… they are most definitely boots. Just like the GIANT Building. Lol. 😉
I just think people go with visual at times instead of what’s listed in the game and game FAQ

I find myself getting annoyed at the comments on here. It seems as though ppl jump to the comments & ask questions that if they had read the topic….it was already answered. I genuinely appreciate this site & its helped me to enjoy this game much,much more than playing all by myself. Or I’ve noticed ppl saying some snide,mean things to you guys & if they don’t like this site-or whatever-go somewhere else or start 1 of their own. Lol….I rarely post mainly because I can only imagine all the crap you guys must wade thru on a daily basis. I think TinyCo should hire ya’all for all that you contribute & making this a much more enjoyable game for a lot of us. Thanks for listening to my rambling…

You may be too young but there was a major music concert series call Lallapaloza. Since then they like to add -Paloza to major concerts (just like they add -gate to scandals).

WTD – finally got enough glowsticks to build the hostel for belgard. 4000 and I still need stuff to unlock him, meanwhile I’m still trying to unlock Alice Cooper. With the leopardskin pants taking 8 hours a time and pretty much only Peter can do them for the majority of it they shouldn’t have been listed as acrare drops.
While this is going on, I’m locked out of using the concert stage which seems to be the main focus for this event. I may only go to do AC’s concert before I’m locked out again because of DJ Herbert being up next.
Really disappointed with this event at it seems to have stopped the fun while I grind out the final items. I hope this is the only major delay.
I understand that clams can make this go faster but they aren’t easy to come buy and aren’t cheap. Being a freemium player shouldn’t mean less fun.

I was going to do encores after the Alice Cooper concert but decided to move on to Phase 4 instead because the unattractive junk needed for the first encore wasn’t worth the costs.

WHAT THE DEUCE……there’s nothing to deuce about, what i wanted, Avril and Alice were both freemium 😊. I like snoop, never even heard of deadmause??? Both way over priced. Oh something to deuce about, why did the clam package deal go up to 19.99 for free stuff instead of 9.99!!!!! This is getting to be re-god-$!#@-diculos. Money hungrey tiny co. I used to enjoy the simplicity of a good freemium game, but now, look at all the buildings that you have to buy with clams it’s like 5-1. I think of buying those buildings like buying a 20$ disposal razor, use it a couple times then toss it. Oh well, have a good weekend all. And happy gaming.

That’s happened to me also. It worked once, but when I tried again he just stood there. Same problem occurred with Detective Scrotes and his brazilian manshaping task, he just stands there without anyone else (although that one never worked).

I do think in both cases, for me the visual tasks broke after new stuff was added to the game (an official update in the case of Scrotes, I think just regular in-game update to add stuff for Peter). So TinyCo did something incompatible with those two visual tasks at least in iOS 8.3.

I paid clams to finish up Alice Cooper and I’m glad I did. Now I have to grind for glow sticks to finish Carl and then lighters for Herbert. I’m really, really hoping that they release Starbright Peter for clams and that it’s not 700 or some such obscene number. I’m still boggling at the number of clams the #1 person on my leaderboard had to spend to get their blammy count. WTD.

Why does it take 20 tries to get the Alice cooper pants from peter griffin!!?? I should have unlocked Alice a week a ago but peter never produces anything for 8 hrs!! Wtf?? So frustrating!!

I think that Deadmau5 was overpriced. 350 characters for a character is too much. I think 200 – 250 would have been a more reasonable price.
And the gold bears don’t spawn often enough. I have at most one in my town at a time and it takes more than 4 hours for the next one to spawn.

Wtd…when is this event going to end? I have been playing this game since it was released and I find this event the worse by far. I’m not interested in any of the artists; I have no desire to download the free music…I used to use this game as a break from work but now I would rather work than play this game…I thought the Star Trek event was going to be bad because of my lack of interest but it was WAY better than this….

4,000 glow sticks for the Hostel?!?
I’m STILL trying to unlock Cooper and it looks like the game is moving on. Not that I can blame them… it has been over a week! They gave us two ways to get legging but, oh yeah!, one way needs the 4,000 GS Hostel which I finally got a couple days ago. Oh! “LOLZ @ u silly playerz! U still hv 2 unlock the foreign guy 2 get leggingz!” Nice. So MAYBE I’ll only be a few days behind for the next phase of this event but, really, that’s par for the course in this game anymore.
I log in 8-10 times per day, every day, and I’m not even close to being caught up. At least I don’t crash every 3 minutes but that’s only because I got rid of all non-essential buildings. I hate that my town is a huge, empty field with about 20 buildings in it. It does prevent me from going to my high-level player’s towns because, of course, I will crash if they have more than 30 building in place.

If you go to “Listen” do they all come back? I ran into similar with Snoop only showing one, but Listen loaded all 10

Select the option “Keep On Device,” which the icon is a Pin, using Play Music. It will download all the songs the game gives you to your device. After I get them I copy the files to an external memory card.
The directory the files are stored (at least for my device):
/mnt/sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.music/files/music

Not really a WTD but this seemed important and that people would want to know it, but you can use google play credits you get from the Google Play Rewards app on clams! I just figured this out the other day when I bought some clams for Deadmau5. The only stipulation is that it’s just for Android users. But yeah got $10 worth of clams for free from answering surveys for Google on my phone. Totally worth it in my book, and I highly recommend it to Android players. Also since this is WTD, I have a WTD about the game no longer working on my iPad. It loads up then crashes the minute I try to tap a character. I had go switch to just my phone to continue to play at all as of late. Rather annoying since I used to just play it on my iPad.

Golden Honey Bears…ONE every eight hours. Never multiples, just one. If that continues no DJ Herbert for 6 six days assuming perfect drops. First boots, now LPs, WTD?!?

Same thing in my game. I’ve just been clearing the other bears for tickets in between. Definitely going to take a while to get anywhere at this rate.

Ha ha. If it’s high school, just wait until college and then you will really know sleep deprivation. If it’s college and you’re planning on grad school – ha ha ha ha ha sleep will be something of a dim memory. Don’t try sleeping in installments, though, hallucinations can occur…. Then after grad school – don’t get a university teaching job because it’s even worse.
