It’s beginning to look a lot like MORE Christmas. Raid to the North Pole Phase 2 is now live in our games. This means more Characters/Costumes, Buildings, Decorations, and just a lil bit of snow. 😉

I will NOT be able to confirm all of this for accuracy until I get home. Until then, here are the basics that SHOULD be there.
First up, what you will need in order to see the content in Phase 2. You will need to complete Raid to the North Pole Pt. 11 before you can begin the second phase of the event.

Blocko Hovercraft: You can get this after earning the Blocko Winter Fortress (HQ), this will be used to attack the Encampment of Misfit Toys. Reward is a mix of Toy Cars, Snowflake Medals, & Blocko Wreaths

At this point, ANY further tap on Santa’s Headquarters will start the 24 HOUR TIMER on the Skynet Complex, so make sure you are prepared to get all the Presents needed to get it. Or decide to keep them for the Next round and just let it time out and Pass on it. Remember, these are labeled “HARD” for a reason. Many of them are like a Premium Item and will require Clams spent to get them all. Decide if he is really worth it to you before proceeding.

We now have a 2nd item in the Depot to help us get Presents for the HQ, Toy Cars. I had both Magic Hats and Toy Cars from the start in mine. Here are some of the Trade Options I saw in my game. I only saw 3 Trade Options at a time vs in Phase 1 I only saw 1 Trade Option at a time. (My personal suggestion is allow the game to collect them when they pop out. If you try to tap on them in individually in large amounts… the game will delay a bit.)

HUMMA BATTLE CLARIFICATIONS
Now that I could play through it a few more times, the Humma Battles break down kind of like this…
You will fight the Village Buildings with your Humma. Depending on your current Humma Level AND the amount of Characters you have will determine your payouts and Buildings destroyed. Once you Destroy ALL THREE Buildings in the Village, they will Level Up and become more difficult to destroy, so you once again need to Level Up the Humma or get MORE Characters. This will continue on and on and on and on. So it is up to YOU on how you level up the Humma and when it works for you. If you find you are getting a lot of payouts that work for you at a certain level, try not to defeat all 3 Buildings and prevent it from Leveling up.
Just know that as the Buildings get Leveled Up, the payout for taking them out also increases. So it may take a lil more time to take them out or more Characters, but the payout balances out in a way.

When ONE Building is destroyed, it shows a Check Mark over it to say it is “complete”. This means if you have THREE Buildings you are attacking, the task is not yet done. Wait til you see all 3 with some mark over them. If there is an X over it, you did not destroy it.
Per TinyCo, you should still get SOMETHING even if you do not destroy anything (and NO, it will NOT show a payout in the pop up, this is payout when you tap on the Buildings X to clear the task). If you find you don’t get anything at all from the Battle, then message TinyCo.

Once placed you just tap on the Hangar and you will see what it will take to Upgrade your Blocko Hovercraft. Tap on the Encampment for the info on a “Misfit Toy Battle”.

In case you have not noticed already, majority of Tasks being performed in North Pole are actually in a lil Camo Brown Tent aka “Base Tent” to the right of Santa’s HQ and closest to Al’s Entrance. You can tap on it to see how long your Characters have left on their North Pole Task.
LEADERBOARDS
Yes, they are back. NO THEY ARE NOT LIVE YET! (At least not in any of my games.) They are now live!
I just wanted to focus on some basic information for the Leaderboards before they do launch live into our Event…
I will repeat this one again… Leaderboards are there as a CHOICE. You do not HAVE to participate. You have no idea whatsoever how millions of other Players are going to play. How much money they will spend. If a Player may go Premium for this Event after being Freemium for a long time. This is also like a slot machine, you take a risk with your earnings and see what you get in return. If YOU decide you want to take the chance to invest and play in them, you do so at YOUR own risk.
NO CHEATING! TinyCo once again will watch the Leaderboards for any “excessive beyond normal play” counts as well as modifications or “hacks” to their FG:TQFS Game. If you are found abusing their Leaderboard Guidelines, you will be banned. Those of you that have altered your game at ANY time, will be shut out of the Leaderboards. Those of you that “exploit” glitches in the game to gain excessive amounts of Snowflake Medals, will be shut out of the Leaderboards. They want ALL Players to have an HONEST chance at the Leaderboards and their prizes, so ANY activity viewed unfair, will be banned and shut out of them.
If YOU were banned, you need to not address it in the comments. Instead take any questions or concerns directly to TinyCo via your in game messaging. We have nothing to do with the game, so can’t discuss or assist any player in this regard.
If you feel you were falsely shut out, again, contact TinyCo so they can review your game account and communicate with you directly on why it happened. (If it was done in error they will correct it.)

What level is your Vehicle? If you have leveled up TOO high, then it becomes impossible for that Vehicle to keep attacking higher leveled Buildings. (Happens when you defeat all of the possible buildings at once. Like 3/3)

Have placed his tent but not yet unlocked and now the main quest line has disappeared, stopping me from progressing.

Uh.. Late reply here, but final challenge is t0 clear 16 of them in 48 hours. Thats a minimum of 16 hours to clear them, and a minimum of 32 hours for them to spawn.. Right?
Dont think that maths correctly into being feasable. Unless they changed that rate recently?

How come it says here that I need 5 antidepressants for Kevin Swanson when my game says I need 7 (AND I’ve cleared 6 of them and they won’t respawn the 7th for me…it’s been over 24 hours)

Somehow my holiday humma disappeared and I needed to rebuild it. I was at level 9. Now after the rebuild I’m at level 2 and can’t use any of the characters to drive. The characters have a little red icon to the bottom right and are greyed out. Did I miss something?

Thanks for the response! I guess I’m pretty much done until this bug is resolved. Can’t get more than 30 or so presents at a time. Wish I would have looked at you response before I wasted close to 200 clams upgrading new Humma as I thought it was part of the game.

In the collective medals, today 18.12, we barely got to 200 millions in almost 14 days in the event.
we have about 20 more days untill the end of the event, how can we get to the 8 billions!!! medals to get 3 clams??? and the saddest part, we will never get to the 40 billions prize of the God character??? 😦

My apologies if it’s posted somewhere else but i can’t find it….
With the collective prizes, like right now the 10 hats are available to claim, what happens if i collect those ten hats? Does it reduce the counter for us all, or are these prizes claimable without reducing the number of medals earned?
I really want God but if i can collect the other prizes along the way then great, i just don’t want to be the one to reduce the count lol.

Is anyone else stuck on the phase 1 portion? My game crashes every time I try and purchase the igloo so I’ve been stuck at that point for almost a week now. I’ve contacted support twice I’ve done all the quick fix tips and nothing works.
Sucks cuz I can’t do the second battle and have dropped over 1000 places on leaderboards and am losing about 100 spots or so a day right now.

Quick question: when I place Kevin’s tent, does that start the 24 hour timer for the skynet complex or do I refrain from p,acing the tent until I have enough presents for both items? Last week I just made sure I had 377 presents and as soon as I places the item before Lyle, I immediately bought Lyle and moved on. I don’t want to miss the complex but I also don’t want to get too far behind collecting the next set of items. Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Hi, Can someone clarify for me… Have just got Kevin Swanson and Tent but have not unlocked him yet. Does he need to be unlocked before you can move on to area 3???
As far as I can see the main quest line (The North Pole one) to progress has disappeared.
Only have a) Sarah Connor quest line
b) Stewie
And c) The one to collect medals (Although on this have been stuck for last few days trying to defeat Santa Village. Have done it a no of times now but not registering on quest line and again stopping me from moving on).

I’ve been playing this since the start fairly regularly and only have 71 medals (not on the leaderboard), yet I see many with over several hundred, the number one over 1000! What am I doing wrong? Where can you collect 100s of medals quickly without cheating?

Clams Clams Clams. Please see the information above about HOW the leaderboards function. You can assume how others will play all you want, but you will never make sense of how 1 Million different Players each uniquely get to where they are without a MASSIVE pool of each and every single one.
Just play, have fun, don’t focus on or sweat the small stuff. As time goes by you may notice you gain more and more daily as you progress more. If not, then up to you to use Clams to get additional Characters or speed Battles just to get a few more Snowflake Medals. Still it will not guarantee you a spot. 😉

I have a couple questions. The first is I have not had a new robotics toy spawn in many hours, and was wondering if it is not as others have been in the past on a 3/4 hour per spawn rate?
Then there is the dreaded skynet . 900 is a lot of presents, and if the only value of the building is the drops of ammo boxes and boots, then I don’t know if it is anything I need, as I am already being “forced” to buy a bunch of buildings just to progress that will go straight into storage. Also, but the time I have earned the 900 presents, I don’t even think I will need the item drops! *chuckle*

Seconding the part about 900 presents being a lot. I think I have like 34 right now, after placing Kevin.
Also, what am I supposed to be doing with all these silver bells? I bought one of each decoration purchasable with bells, even those I didn’t want, just for something to use them on. Last Christmas seemed to have a lot more fun decos – I even remember a few where I was disappointed I couldn’t get more than one, plus the buildings and building skins. I think I’m a little overwhelmed over all with the number of things I need to get to get other things. Like, in addition to stuff for unlocking Sarah and Kevin, there are bells and medals and cars and hats and presents and eggnog and champagne. I’ll say one thing — anyone tries to complain they’re bored with this event, I’ll pop them in the mouth! 🙂 (I’m guessing those kinds of comments are precisely why there’s so very much going on this round.)
Also, these snowmen and misfit toys are adorable!

Hi. I’m a little confused about the event and how the humma works. I’ve read a lot of posts and updates about it and I’m kind of lost. I’m still on phase 1, and my buildings haven’t upgraded (their energy bar looks longer but they’re the same). I have the humma on level 2 and Santa is my only driver, so I can destroy 2 buildings.
For the quest I have to upgrade the humma to lvl 3 and destroy 3 buildings. And here is when I get confused and afraid of getting stuck. I’m waiting to get Camo Peter (which is taking me forever) to do it, since it’ll be my only way of destroying the 3 buildings. If I upgrade first I’ll need the 3 characters and I’m sure I won’t get Lyle. I’m a really slow player. So, what do you think I shoud do? I’m sure I missed something I read in some post that quests should be solved anyway if we upgrade, but going back to the other info makes me doubt.

As soon as you take out 3 they’ll be harder to destroy. So you’ll need to Level up Humma again to compensate

Just thinking, the toy cars seem to be yielding slightly better trade ins to presents when compared to hats but not a huge amount more, but they seem to be a lot more difficult to get (needing camo Peter who also earns eggnog) so I’m thinking whether it makes more sense to continue focusing on hats for presents (at least until unlocking Sarah) before concentrating on cars for presents…? Also the advantage is that the Hummer levels will be much higher than the hovercraft levels so yielding many more hats in comparison?
Just wondering what other players think about this ‘strategy’? 🙂

I think it only ever dropped a single tin can for me, after a number of days. The remaining nine came from repeated twerking 😉
But remember it is a rare drop plus combined with a four hour sequence, that means it can easily be a few days in one go without a drop.

Toy Cars I’m still messing with. Theyou didn’t seem always but I’ve notice they hide behind the Silver Bells. Like you barely see the wind gear. They respawn every few hours. So it’s hard to say

Really bizarre, when I just logged into the leaderboard the total number of medals went down rapidly rather than up…?? Something wrong going on here…? Also I have been banned bizarrely, I’m a freemium player so definitely don’t know why. I’ve sent them a message on both things but was wondering if the medal counter issue happened with others too?

I was messaged back. Same situation. Tiny co say the auto blocker went crazy today and blocked lots of people. They are going to review and unblock us honest players. I had 86 medals not a huge amount.

Thanks for the info! TinyCo hasn’t responded to me but since I haven’t violated any terms I figured must be a bug. Bunny.. When people “complain” here about stuff like this, players like me find it very helpful! Just because it’s a “complaint” doesn’t mean it isn’t useful info 🙂

Complaints… I don’t mind. I get those. It’s vulgar ranting or abusive ranting I do not want. If you go to the Facebook page…You’ll see what I mean. It’s a horror show. Makes me feel awful for humanities future.

Hey there,
I saw in the post that there should be no venting about being banned from the leaderboard, and what I’m going to do is not that. I just have an open question for the users on this site.
So I was banned for supposed cheating (which I in no way actually committed). I’m a freemium player and only have 103 medals and last I checked I was about 1,400ish on the leaderboard (far from eye-popping numbers). I have no idea how or why I was flagged as a cheater.
I sent TinyCo a message asking for an explanation and to reverse my ban. My question to you all is, do you know of anyone actually getting an unjust ban reversed? If so, is TinyCo fast enough to get to your message and undo a ban before the event ends? I sent TinyCo a message during the Halloween event, and they didn’t get back to me until maybe 2-3 weeks after the event ended. I’m a little nervous the response time here will be similar.

Yes we have seen them reversed, and it is as nothing happened. The counts remain where they are.
Many times the ones that I personally see banned… the Player did one of two things…
1. Player had an outside source alter their game play. No matter if it was recent or last year or when the game launched. (Whether modification to, adding “Free” items, purchasing “illegal” clams from outside source)
2. Player exploited a glitch in the game giving them an obscene amount of game currency that provided an “unfair” game play advantage in the Leaderboards (for instance if something in the coding allowed you to Battle the Humma over and over and over with now time limit and gave excessive amounts of Snowflake Medals)
Outside of that, I will not go into further about hackers using the game. Not my game and not my place to police other players accounts. TinyCo can do that.
So if it was done in error, that is up to TinyCo to determine and correct. All you can do is message them. Honestly. The situation is different for every single player, so it is impossible to say they will do this or that. It is totally in their control. Sorry.

Hi Bunny,
Just to give you and the rest of the readers a bit of an update. TinyCo responded to my message stating that the ban button “went rogue” on them and they are in the process of undoing all the damage. So for the rest of you that got out-of-nowhere bans like I did, you should be reinstated soon.

Already sent tiny co an in game message (they still have not responded to any thing I have sent thrm in the past month 😦 ) but I am wondering if amyone else is having trouble witht the knife magazines? Says they are on ancommon drop, but ibhavr not gotten even one yet and need 2. With only two ways two earn to earn them I am wondering how that is going to be possible? I have almosted completed every other item for Sarah Conner and have the building thay drops them and quagmire doing the task? Any tips would be great 🙂

I was somehow banned from the leaderboard. The only think I can think of is that I accidently started the timer on Lyle on Friday, so quickly put the phone on airplane mode and reset it so the game did not register. This technique usually worls, and did this time. But when the new content hit I decided to forget about him anyway but proved the timer had never restarted. This is not really cheating as much as taking advantage of a small glitch I think. What is your take?

As stated in this post, ANY discussion on banned from Leaderboards needs to be addressed with them. I’m not TinyCo and don’t have access to your game coding to see what “triggered” the alert. I can’t answer “Why?”
Honestly all you can do is ask them directly. Only they would have that answer and can assist you. 🙂

I saved up enough presents to get most of the items in week 2 and if all goes well, I’ll be able to get Kevin Swanson by tomorrow. Wondering if it us worth getting the Skynet Complex. It shows that it drops 2 items. Boots and something else. Wanted to know what that 2nd item is and what it’s used for. If it’s not worth getting, I’ll just save up for week 3. Thanks.

HI Bunny! I always read your posts & remember you saying do not click on random exclamation points. So, (I’m a little behind I lost 2 days bc family was visiting ). Anyhoo, I opened the misfit toys area & went through all the info like you described above. But, my game has an exclamation point above an igloo building in the misfit village area. Should I click this? I’m thinking it may just be the breakdown of what you win per battle. But I’m not sure. Last question: in your opinion should I focus on the misfit battles or alternate between the battles of the two areas? (Sorry so long) Thank You!

It’s to start a Battle with the Hovercraft. Same as Humma Battles. It’s fine to tap on the Misfit Toys Igloo ! to do this 😉

Wierd, the clam offer you got was different from what i got. If i spent $10 or more it gave me 75 toy cars instead of 45 black hats.

It’s mathematically impossible to reach 80 billion medals collectively over the next 26 days. It is increasing at a rate of 39-40 per second which means at the end of the 26 days we will be somewhere around 95 million medals. So unless the rate increases or 80 billion is a typo there is no getting beyond the first prize.

I will repeat what I keep saying to players…
Why focus on such trival things that are over 3 weeks away? I hear the same complaints on TSTO and EVERY SINGLE TIME, the amount is hit no matter what. EA does the same as TinyCo, if it is out of reach after x amount of game play, they adjust it. So again… just play… have fun… don’t spend all your time picking apart or trying to analyze every single aspect of the game. It all eventually balances out. Not to mention in THIS game, nothing is ever ever ever set in stone. They can, have, and will make adjustments if the need is there. 🙂
Not to mention, keep the information in the Leaderboard section in mind when commenting on our site. This place is meant for FUN. Not TinyCo’s venting platform. Don’t ruin my hard worked on posts with nothing but complaints. It really isn’t fair to me or what I do to keep this site running nor to all the other readers that are tired of seeing NO HELP in the comments and instead just complaints. So… HELP and play. Keep the negative discussion on something that you just can’t in any way know right now off the helpful posts. 😉

I really wasn’t trying to be negative. I was simply making an observation. I enjoy this site immensely because it does help players out a lot. I was only commenting in the event that other players notice the same issue.

I get that. Just trying to let you know to keep an open mind when it comes to this game. It’s impossible to calculate anything with it. Especially something weeks in advance based off today. They change and add too many things as the Event progresses.
So I still stick by what I say, don’t sweat it… it’s too early to even guess what’s coming next few weeks. Play, have fun, see where we are in January as a collective. You’d be surprised. 😉

I’m confused by the collective 80 billion medals we need to get the white bearded calendar.
In the first 24 hours we have accumulated 7.5 million. At this rate it will take over thirty years.
Hmmm… I guess TinyCo may rebalance the drops at some point?

Not been able to update yet since I did a few battles for zero reward. I messaged tinyco and explaining what happened they did say they knew of it but offered no compensation for the waste of cocoa. Now I’ve finally unlocked camo Peter and am back doing battles with both which is showing rewards and while I am earning medals my medal count doesn’t match my total.

Such a shame I couldn’t get Lyle, he looked very valuable. I really hate this new strict trend about characters that are labeled as ‘Hard’ and suddenly become limited for just a single day, right when it becomes their turn to be unlocked. Like seriously?
They should go back to the old generous ways like Diane Simmons and Bitch Stewie.

Here is the thing… they are essentially still a “Premium” item, but they are giving other Players at least a chance to get them if they want to put in the time and effort. Otherwise you would see Characters like Lyle just dropped in the Menu for Clams Only and you would not even be able to pick them up without spending money. It is a cool thought in a way that ALL Players can decide to get a “Premium”. If it is too hard for you and you don’t like to spend Clams, pass on them. 😉

It’s looking more and more that by having a 24hr timer it hides the cost in clams to premium players – certainly helping disguise the huge clam cost and real money equivalent.

Not really. The Clam cost is right there as soon as you open the item. Not to mention that make it a known fact in their FAQ and with tags the items WILL be “Hard”. The good thing with this one is that I noticed that the Clams prices WERE lowering as I got more Presents. In the past, they just stayed. It got to the point I could Buy Out SkyNet with a low Clams amount that would have cost me less than trying to get more Presents.

I think the 24hr timer is actually in there not to cause panic but to allow those who can’t get Lyle to progress to the next section, otherwise you would have to get Lyle to progress. I think the HARD items are also there as something for those who are spending a lot of clams on the buildings that drop materials to get, as previously they were building up tons of materials with nothing to use them on. As long as TinyCo don’t put must have characters in these HARD spots, ie Evil Monkey or such then I have no issue with them. And they have sorted one thing, the clam cost for items in the trade in area reduces as you collect presents, I think this is a welcomed addition that might have been missed by many players.
