While they’re working on the issue, they’ve found that ANY item next to the Battle areas is disappearing.
In other words ANY Building or Decoration by Santa’s Village, Fake Trees, or Misfit Toys Camp Battles… MOVE THEM NOW. This will help prevent any further loss of items.
UPDATE 12/23: TinyCo still working on patches.
If you lost any Characters from the glitch, try to pull them out of limbo by another task.
For instance look for a joint take with Peter and another Character (like Quagmire or Jermoe). Selecting the joint task is helping in some cases to bring them back. Otherwise all we can do is wait. Sorry.
For those with crashing issue from update, let me know please if better now.
UPDATE 7PM EST: Heading home soon, but wanted to let you know they’re still working on issues.
Crashing issue they’re testing patch now and hope to have it done by as early as tonight.

Bouncing by with a few updates to things going on in the game. The 48hr Weekly Challenge hit our games last night and now this morning it seems an odd glitch is plaguing Players.
WEEK 2 CHALLENGE-48HR TIMER
First up, the Weekly Challenge. Again, these WILL tend to be hard. It is up to you to decide if you want to proceed with them and if they are really worth it to YOU to complete. Just know that Clams may be required to do so.
The Christmas Curtis Challenge
Santa Starts
Attack the Broken Toy Camp 3 Times: This is just starting an Attack
Attack the Fake Xmas Tree Far 4 Times: This is just starting an Attack
Have Sarah Connor Clear 5 Robotic Mistfit Toys: 1hr each. These spawn 2 about every 4-6hrs in my game and ONLY allow two MAX in your town at a time
Have Kevin Swanson Go through the Drill 3 Times: 6hrs each
Remember as soon as you trigger this you ONLY have 48hrs to complete it.
***I will have more on this later as I have to wait for the Spawns too in order to complete it.***
Award is a walking Decoration, so go to Quahog to pull it out of Inventory in the Decorations tab.
MISSING/ RESTARTED VEHICLE GLITCH
There is a very odd new glitch hitting the games and I am not sure what is triggering it. I have already reported this and am awaiting response (though they usually are not in until 7-9AM Pacific). I will update when I hear more. In the meantime if YOU are experiencing this, report it from your game and comment below EXACTLY what happened in your game when it hit.
Many Players are commenting that their Humma or their Blocko just reset. It disappeared from the game and now is asking them to buy it again. This has not hit my game personally so I am relying on those of you it did hit to be my eyes and tell me what you are seeing. Did a questline trigger before this happened? What were you doing in the game just prior to this happening? Was someone on a task there? What Level were you on in the Vehicle? Etc. Pretty much any details shared in the comments below that I can pass on. Screenshots will help to showing the items missing and the place where to tells you to buy them again. APP MARKET UPDATE
For many of you having issues with Santa or Camo Peter “bailing” on the Battles, there is a patch in the App Market that should help resolve this. I left my iPod at home, so can’t confirm iOS hit, but I do know it in Google Play. Make sure you go and Update to the 1.15.5 version of the App to make sure game keeps running.
***Side Note: For those with the missing Vehicle glitch, did this hit AFTER you updated the app? If not, does updating the app resolve it?

Sorry if this is the wrong post, but I’m just a little confused if the glitch your talking about is the same as the glitch I am experiencing.
The glitch pertains to the third vehicle location. I have Kevin Swanson, but not Snake or Nutcrakcer Stewie.
I sent Kevin to attack the tree lot and closed the game. I opened it up a little later and was checking how the battle was going. On the screen that shows the timer, the game now shows ALL 3 of the characters attacking, even though I only have Kevin. Snake has disappeared from his building (was currently working on unlocking him) but Nutcracker Stewie is still in the shop. (It’s worth noting that the game shows regular Stewie attacking not Nutcracker Stewie)

“Attempting to add points to a locked character” Thats is my new problem. I was almost unlocking Snake Plissker, just the handguns left, and he just disappear, and i cant attack the trees with Kevin the because that msg pop up. Thats not fair….second time with problems wich hold me back on this event.

New glitch. I’m trying to collect from the tree lot and it tells me I’m attempting to add points to a locked character. I think I was spared the other glitch. Sent to tinyco. Anyone else getting this?

No vehicles disappearing but Snake isn’t unlocked yet and he disappeared. Pretty frustrated about that. Also I haven’t had any of the timed challenges prompt so there’s that.

I am experiencing a different glitch then everyone else. I am in the process of unlocking Stewie and Snake but somehow they were in the truck collecting rewards. The characters are gone from the buildings they were standing in front of also. I hope all the items I already collected for each of them haven’t disappeared too, that would be super frustrating and also very plausible. Now I cannot collect from the truck because I keep getting a glitch “Attempting to add points to a locked character”.

Since the update my nutcracker truck is nowhere to be found. That truck was helping me in the leaderboard. This needs to be fixed soon, or I won’t get high enough in the leaderboard.

My blocko disappeared after I updated my game and cleard the broken toy camp. Sarah Connor was disappeared too but after I reset my game she was back in my town.
I am also still banned from the leaderboard 😑

Add me to the list of those missing a vehicle. It happened when I upgraded my forest area after I sucessfully destroyed it. Sucks. I did report it.

I know i’m going to sound like a broken record and your tips help me all the time! Should I rebuy the Humma Hanger and try to start over. I had it pretty built up? or should I just wait and see if it gets resolved? For me it seem like defeating Santa’s Village was the trigger that made mine disappear

You can if you want just to help you get items… but… I am not sure if your Characters vanished too as that is the main issue I am seeing now. Can rebuy but no drivers.

I’m currently in the middle of the Curtis challenge, but what triggered mine was: I was attempting to complete Santa’s Little Helper pt 2. I needed to defeat Santa’s Village one more time, so I had all 3 characters attacking it. When I clicked the X at the end of the attack, it didn’t count toward the task. When I clicked the ! to attack it again, it prompted me to purchase my Humma hangar again for $1000. I tried the typical troubleshooting, but gave in and re-purchased it. But when I did, my Humma was back to level 1. My previous level was to where I needed 18 to level up again (which the last attack should have gotten me to). Now I’m sitting here with a useless humma.
I messaged them, but I had a previously started conversation with them so it wouldn’t let me start a new issue. I just hope they see my latest message and process it as part of this trouble ticket.

I had just upgraded the Nutcracker Truck to Level 4 (which finished EFTNP Part 4), then sent Kevin Swanson on the Attack task. When I went to collect, the truck/hangar (and Kevin) disappeared. Tapping on the exclamation point now says I need to “Get the perfect vehicle to take down Santa’s Village” again. It is not anywhere in the store or inventory, and has been checked off in the HQ list.
I force closed the game to see if it might reset. When I reloaded, Kevin was walking around available, but the truck/hangar were still missing in action. At least now I can send Kevin on some other tasks while TinyCo sorts this out.
Maybe this tip might help other players who get characters stuck in the phantom zone…

I am missing my Bed and Breakfast so no way to earn the “fuel” with Jerome or Joe?!
I think there is another one missing but not sure I think its a Decoration?!

Have already ingame messaged TinyCo. Here’s what happened to me.
My week 3 vehicle has completely disappeared and the game wants me to buy it again, obviously I can’t. This happened a couple of hours after the update, but right after I bought the Nutcracker Prototype.
It was after buying it that the 3hr battle finished, I collected the payments then tried to reassign Snake to drive, while Kevin was doing his last action for the 48hr challenge, this is when the box sprung up asking me to buy it as if I never did.
I haven’t lost Snake or Kevin so haven’t had that problem, but Kevin did have 2hrs left on his 48hr challenge action but as soon as the vehicle disappeared so did the 48hr task icon on the left, and he was left wandering the town.
Hopefully they get this sorted very soon.

I had to build a new humma after I finished defeating Santas village. Peter and Santa are now locked and unable to be used. When you try to locate them it says they are in the new humma. I tried deleting the game and reinstalling with no luck.

I got the recent update and that’s when it reset the humma and santa’s village. I reported the issue in game. My Santa and Peter are missing. They show up in the attack santa’s village window but there’s an hour glass on them and I can’t select them. I waited overnight to see if they returned but they haven’t.

Straight after the update, last night, I defeated the igloo camp and got the message saying so, when I went to upgrade my hover craft, the hangar had disappeared.
The exact same thing has just happened to my hummer hangar.

Have the missing Blocko Hovercraft Hangar issue. Running the most recent version of the game, as Google Play offers no new updates. Also lost the Christmas Armory, North Pole Bed & Breakfast, and Kevin Swanson’s Tent. All four buildings had been sitting along the front edge of the Misfit Toys district. They are not in inventory. No missing characters. Had just finished battles in all three districts. The Christmas Tree district battle was my first, and the Misfit Toys battle cleared all four buildings. Initially, the Hovercraft itself was still sitting in front of Misfit building #4 (not shooting), but it disappeared after I reset the game in hopes of the buildings being reset. Cannot rebuy the buildings. They still show as checked, and I am not given the option.
One thing I did notice, and this was probably changed with the recent update, is that the districts are now all one “block” larger than they were before. I had all my district-related buildings butted right up against the districts. If I go in to move one of the still present buildings in front of the Santa’s Village or Christmas Tree Forest districts, I cannot put it back in the place it initially was, since I can no longer place buildings in the first row of “empty” blocks right outside of the districts. Am wondering if for some reason when the Misfit Toys district was remapped when it was upgraded (since I had just cleared all four buildings in it) it didn’t consign all those buildings that were now in its space to oblivion… Have moved all my other buildings away from the edges of the other districts as a precaution, and suggest others do the same.

Update: I have lost access to Kevin Swanson. Every time I try to complete the Christmas Tree battle, I get an error “Attempting to add points to a locked character” and the game reloads. The first time I did it, the vehicle was in the normal location, but after that, it appeared on top of the Nutcracker building. Still gives the same error. Also have lost Snake Plissken. The Bunker is still there, and I can still pick up items to unlock him (other than the required Kevin task, of course), but he is nowhere to be found.

I’ve had the problem as well with my Hummer disappearing. It was attacking with both Peter and Santa as drivers. When I logged back in the first two targets were destroyed and I got the prizes, the last was not (it was around level 11). The Hangar had disappeared and I had to buy it again for 1,000 coins. Now, when I try to attack I see under drivers that both Peter and Santa have hour glasses as if they are busy and cannot be chosen. I have no idea where they disappeared off too, but I hope they resolve the issue soon.

Bunny, I don’t know if you are still collecting this data but I have this to add:
I play a game on both iOS and Android platforms (two games total). This morning I lost a truck from each.
In my iOS game, I successfully defeated Santa’s Village (beat all the houses) and when I collected the hangar, truck and Santa, Peter and Lyle disappeared. I closed down my game and the characters reappeared but the truck and hangar are gone. I can repurchase the hangar from the store, but I didn’t want to do that until I know what we should be doing since I don’t want to have to relevel that thing up. I am past whatever level is needed for the Week three quest line, perhaps level 14 or better. It was my first defeat for the challenge with the medals (I would need one more).
In my Android game, I successfully defeated the tree area with Kevin for the first time (I think it was four houses). I collected and Kevin and the hangar and the truck all disappeared. Again, I closed out my game and restarted and Kevin was back. However, when I attempt to get the hangar back, it is unavailable. It was in Santa’s HQ and because I have advanced beyond it, it is grayed out and unavailable to repurchase. It was at least level four (what was asked for in the quest line) and that makes sense since I was able to defeat all the buildings.
For me at least, it appeared to have something to do with clearing all the buildings in a district since these two things happened within minutes of each other. Both games are using the most recent update that came out yesterday morning.
This is a major bummer and I hope TinyCo can put these items back into our games where they were. I am just starting the climb to the 535 building in each so to not be able to do battles will put me behind but I will continue to collect items and wait patiently for this glitch to be resolved. And also keep my fingers crossed for an extension. Having this affect all players will hurt us as a group in our attempt for God.

I’m not playing that much this event. Still everyday, but not as much. I’m still right on time, just needing the affordable elf houses (and only 200 more presents to go). Plus, the challenges have been pretty easy so far. So this event is probably, so far, the best since Star Trek, because it’s not too hard (like Halloween event) or too boring (like the Peterpalooza event eventually got to be).

Here’s a tip for everyone. It seems to me like your vehicle is fine until you go to defeat all of the buildings in the play area. I lost my nutcracker truck when I defeated all 4 buildings. Still have my humma and hovercraft as those are at 2/3 and 3/4. So don’t attack if you will be clearing the entire village, wait until the glitch is fixed.

Important note to those looking for the second challenge prize! After you locate him in the all or decorations tab remember he is a moving NPC so don’t look for him where you think you placed him! Look in the streets for him!

Weird. My vehicles are OK, but I can’t place the Christmas Armory (after buying it).
I’ve also cleared the village many times, but on the Elves 5 quest it still says 0/2.

Already reported it. The last vehicle available just vanished. I put swanson boy and the other char I forgot the name to the fight and let stewie out of it. It cleared the camp (four houses destroyed) and the vehicle was gone. It was lvl 9, and I had the materials to put it lvl 11.
Also everytime I put sarah connor in a 2 hour job the game crashes. This event is really cool, but its bugs have been a huge disapointtment.

My hovercraft and all my phase 2 prize buildings are gone! I’m already a week behind so I feel less tolerant of this than usual. I reported to tinyco but they normally don’t respond to my issues until after events have finished 😦 thank you to everyone on this site who lets me know I’m not alone.

MASS issues like this, they most likely will not as a huge portion of Players have the issue. So they utilize Groups like the Addicts to answer the issue to thousands at once instead of going through thousands of emails one by one. Keep an eye out here. I will update when I get any info back on it.

I have also experienced thepeople/humma disappearing glitch. My hummer disappeared a few days ago but I didn’t really think anything of it, I just purchased a new one and tried to move on. But now peter and Santa have gone missing.
I have a horrible memory but I had just upgraded my humma to about level 12 or 13. Placed the bed and breakfast and finished The elf empire strikes back pt 6. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (:

I believe I figured out exactly what caused our current problems. The grid has changed, I think they added the ice wall around the playable area recently. The buildings I am missing, including the Humma cave were lined up against the wall of the North Pole. When the grid changed, the North Pole moved 1 row of tiles. This made my buildings illegally placed, and I think since the Humma cave was in use, it got borked. Additionally, the other 2 areas moved as well 1 row of tiles. I proved this by pressing and holding onto one of my buildings next to Tree town, which had been placed a while ago, and when it turned green, one row of its tiles were red indicating it was miss placed as well. So, assuming I am right, we now have a cause. Hopefully it will help you guys to fix the problem.”
I checked and it’s true, if you go on to the level editor mode most of my buildings in the North Pole were now “illegally” placed. I have since moved what remaining buildings I have inward a few rows. It won’t return missing buildings but to those that haven’t experienced the glitch or for future reference it may be worth moving or placing buildings slightly towards the centre of the pole instead of right up against the walls to avoid any mishaps in future.

I got the update today and when I defeated Santa’s village it said they were gonna send stronger elves then it said I had to buy a new huma and I did then it said Peter Santa and the other elf dude were busy and couldn’t fight in the humma. If you look at building three in Santa’s village the humma is there shooting but I can’t do anything 😦 sad panda

Hey Bunny, just cleared all four targets in the Fake Tree Field district and Kevin and the Nutcracker Tree Hangar both completely disappeared from my game. I closed my game and restarted and Kevin reappeared but the Hangar is completely gone. I saw where some people could repurchase the humma hangar but since the nutcracker tree hangar was crafted, I tried to get it from the depot but it is shaded out and is nowhere in my inventory. This is pretty big if you can’t contest battles and collect presents. Hope they can get it fixed before the holiday or it makes no sense to even play. My hangar was leveled up past four because I went past that part in the quest line and I just did the update that was in the app store yesterday. Hope this info helps. This is a pretty big glitch for a timed event and seems to be hitting everyone eventually.

Don’t know if you are still taking this information but I completed a defeat of Santa’s village (three castles defeated) and the humma hangar is gone as are Peter, Santa and Lyle (all of whom were on the battle). I did the latest update (the one that went out in Apple Store within the last 24 hours) and my humma was probably level 14 or so. I know it was past level nine awhile ago due to the quest line requirement. I closed my game and got the characters back but am still without the humma and don’t want to buy the one in the store because I don’t want to have to start leveling it up all over again until they can fix the problem and return our hummas to the level we have already worked to get them to. Hope they can get this fixed soon. This is a tough one.

My Humma disappeared and then reset from level 14 or so to level 1 and Santa and Peter are trapped in limbo. I reported it to the game, wish I had some screenshots from before it happened to send though.

It’s been 15 hours plus and still no access to the game. Login screen just shuts down, quite sad the issues are not resolved:(

Wow this just destroyed my game. The game wouldn’t let me log in so I updated it and everything was fine. A few hours later, cleared a gew questlines, the cleared the Hovercraft. Upon clearing the Hovercraft, all Week 2 and 3 buildings disappeared (but Snake stayed put). This sent anyone inside (Jerome, Joe, etc) out as if they weren’t on task and have now cost me both time and resources. Not sure what they were doing this patch but this sucks. I reported it in my game but think they should offer up some clams to put those of us affected back on track once they’ve fixed it.

I got the glitch for my humma, it happened after i updated there was no questlines and everything was normal i collected my prize for the attack i was doing then when i tried to attack again it told me i needed a humma to attack and asked me to build it. Once built the humma was reset to level 1.
Hope this gets fixed because advancing in the event will be impossible if it doesnt..

I updated my game yesterday on iOS. I went in today to clear Santa, Lyle, Camo Peter from battle at Santa’s Village. I received the message the buildings were leveled up and then my humma (level 13 or 14) and hanger and Sarah Connor’s building disappeared. I haven’t unlocked Sarah Connor yet and she’s still standing there. I reported it just wanted to give some details here.

Thank you Benny for this thread!! I thought I was the only one having the issue I was freaked out since yesterday. First my hovercraft thing disappeared yesterday afternoon, then earlier today my Humma also disappeared. I was able to repurchase the Humma and now starts back from level 1. No luck on the hovercraft. And both Santa & Peter are missing as well.
I reported them from within the game…

Just suffered this stupid glitch, as if I can afford to fall any more behind in this abomination of an event… Sent all three to attack santas base and once it finished I clicked on it and had to rebuy the hummer and now my three characters are locked. Was trying to defeat the village for santas little helper part two and it didn’t event count it towards defeating it either. Wtf am I supposed to do now?
