Haven’t seen any bugs, but no idea how any mostly freemium players have got to the new phase yet. Still need presents for the last two presents in phase 3, need to finish unlocking Snake and finish the storyline despite upgrading vehicles as quickly as I can. Oh well, first event where it doesn’t bother me as none of the unlocks are of much interest so far (apart from Kevin)

Just like many others I am also experiencing strange things with this event. Thank God, I still have the nutcracker, but I can’t get further than part 8 in the questline to last week. I can read that Sarah starts part 9, but the past two times she has been free nothing came up so I put her on attack again. I have more than 1000 presents waiting to be used once something will let me in. Also my regular Stewie was suddenly pulled out of inventory and in to the nutcracker car. I don’t have nutcracker Stewie so it is not due to that.
As I thought I would spend some time on the regular game, I suddenly can’t do that either. I am in the brewery district and I need to have Peter brew beer. I have tried several times to put him on it, but after a while I then noticed that he has been taken out of that and jumped into one of the cars! As this keeps happening I can’t get any further there either.

I keep having characters who get dragged into raids I didn’t send them on and can’t use them for other things- for example- I send Santa on a raid and then go to send Peter on a different raid and he isn’t available because he got drug along with Santa- is this a known problem?

Just saying…: Is it just me or is it not very mean to have such an influential character (who can help levelling up and earning medals) only available to those players who happen to have it from a previous event? I don’t think that’s very fair to be honest…
Just hope we all get it sooner rather than later, particularly if we’re already struggling with upgrading the Hummer to achieve the defeat the Santa village task which again triggers medals…

I do not think so. For those of us that have played since day one, put forth a LOT of effort the first time around as well as possibly many clams… why is it bad that we should not be able to get something out of playing for so long? I know that it may not seem that way to you right now… but wait until you have played a game for years, you too will be asking for benefits or something of a heads up from all that hard work. 😉

At this point I am beyond frustrated it’s been three days now since the update crashed my game I cannot fully activate phase 4 because Peter is trapped in one of the missing vehicles along with Santa Claus and the robot and tinyco is doing nothing to fix the problem this glitch of theirs is already cost me last weeks 48 hour challenge so now I can’t get the grand prize and it’s completely out of my control

I saw this phase this morning and was like “woohoo”, but then reality dropped by and made me realize that I cannot start that phase (although I have all presents from the phase 3) because I’m stuck on the quest that makes me upgrade my ‘nutcracker truck’ to level 4. I can’t do that quest ’cause that truck has been Missing in Action from the minutes after I installed that patch. (Yes I reported the issue in game, but still waiting on a fix).
Think there is any chance for TinyCo to ‘lift’ the ‘you need to do all quests’-requirement before going to the next phase (for just this once)? Or maybe just remove the quest for upgrading vehicles? The problems would still be there, but at least some of the people would be able to go on with the event this way.

yes, I did. Even tried to remove the game from my phone and downloading it again, but it didn’t change anything. As a programmer myself, I know these kinds of stuff are probably very stressy for them ‘ (especially with the holidays around the corner) and sometimes there is no fast/easy fix for it that can be done ‘quickly. But I guess I can collect present untill it is fixed, but I know I can still get those ‘global prizes’ stuff 🙂

I hear ya. I had my hovercraft hanger poof after they fixed it for me. Oddly (and I reported this), I got a few extra special things in my north pole inventory. I am thinking one may be blocking me from getting the hangar in the shop. Funny thing, I had my 3rd area garage poof on me before the patch and I was able to get that for the 1 coin in the shop.

I will stick my two cents in here … Jesus was hardly freemium last year. Deservedly so, he was one of the most difficult characters to obtain with most of us ultimately having to spend clams to get him either through the purchase of premium characters to help with tasks or speeding up/finishing tasks. I would gladly have paid 350 clams to get him last year (don’t think there was ever an outward clam purchase for him) since he generates a few clams each week and would eventually pay for himself over time. I know I spent more than 100 clams to rush tasks and a lot of nights with interrupted sleep to get him. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into acquiring him.

Yes, even Jesus can’t resist the lure of making big clams anymore…. But have to admit I can’t complain too much, since TinyCo has made it so easy for us freemiums to earn clams. Clam TV makes a huge difference and they’ve been dumping clams on us periodically for other reasons. Us cheapskates can’t get everything, but we’re not completely outside the clam store with our noses pressed longingly against the glass…

I still can’t use Peter, Santa or Lyle. They’re “locked.” I’ve tried every trick. I got my bunkers back. But those three are on some quest in another universe somewhere. Not in storage, force close didn’t bring them back, joint tasks didn’t work. No main quest in my list, can’t progress, can’t defeat Santa’s village like i already did, but it didn’t register, no giving tree for me, even though i actually want to buy clams.
How does that happen? Not complaining, really. But legitimately asking: once they patched it, got my bunkers and HQ winnings back, how are Peter, Santa & Lyle still in limbo? I really want to play. But without Peter, at least, playing is pointless. Le sigh.

It’s not just a Samsung issue. I’ve tried on 4 Android devices ranging from Android 2.3 to Android 5.0 including virtual machines and flipping through permutations on each with the Android SDK. Best i can tell so far is that their update somehow hosed up the accounts themselves. My alt account and any brand new account doesn’t seem to be affected as many others weren’t affected. I think it has something to do with where you were at in the storyline and what tasks were freed up at the time of the glitch. Still investing on this end as well and trying to recreate the issue on my alt while monitoring the data stream to do what I can, as an experienced coder, to find the answer that they themselves have not found. Will keep you all posted. Was trying not to have to work on my vacation but just don’t feel like waiting for TinyCo to come up with a solution or the event will be over and I’ll be asking for yet another refund but having missed out on quite a bit of content. In the meantime, I’ve engaged Google to push harder on them for a solution as this issue seemingly is Android related and failure to address it will be against Google ToS.

hey guys I had the same issue with no quest lines for new area but my resolved it self when peter and Santa had finished in there current battle. so hopefully that will help some of you guys out.

I still cannot log in and the precanned response of ” they’re working on correcting the prpblem with vehicles timers and disappearing characters have little to do with not being able to log in. Now the new phase is up a day early and they’re going on vacation. I might as well chalk this up as another failed event. I understand they’re having technical issues, but a simple unlock of a locked account or at least looking into this issue would go quite a long way toward me considering my continual patronage of their company. How am I suppose to recommend this product to anyone?

I didnt update to 1.15.5 til after mine started crashing on startup. When I reinstalled I started a new game at level 1 and got in game ok. But when I logged into my account it started crashing again.

The last prize isn’t timed for some reason and there’s a quest to unlock it so it’s not optional like the others.

Finished the main quest line a few days ago and just have Peter, Santa and Lyle on a raid…. Everyone else is free. I was able to unlock the new area but nothing is happening. No quest line no new page of stuff to get. I have new items in the shopping cart and see some of the new characters. Is this a glitch or am I missing something?

I haven’t updated to the latest version, but Phase 4 has hit my game, and everything is available, I got the T-1000, all of this weeks prizes, and have opened the new District and am already attacking the new base, and all the new questlines have opened up, so I don’t think you need to be on the latest version. The only thing that hasn’t appeared is actions to earn Spy Wristwatches for Brian, there’s no options available to earn them, has anyone else have any way of earning them?

Yeah, mine now says coming soon too, thanks for the info on Puppy Brian as I didn’t think to check him, now I can start putting him on tasks to earn the Blocko Wreaths to help upgrade that veichle faster. I’ve got my Humma upgraded to the MAX level and now it only takes 1 driver to take out all 3 building everytime now, so I’m trying to get each veichle upgraded as fast as I can.

If you put puppy brian on a task to help get items for upgrading your vehicles. Do not make herbert attack the bakery. You will pull puppy brian of his task each and ever time.

I haven’t experience puppy Brian getting pulled off task yet but get Peter and Stewie pulled off everytime

Are spy watches in games yet? Your list of items for Brians Costume at the top of the page says “Always”

I am updated to 1.15.5, and have completed the entire questline. I have several issues that I thought I would share in case I was not the only one.
1- When I click on the exclamation point in the new district, nothing happens. Also, the new district has a grey floor, not snow colored, if that means something.
2- There is a square of what looks to be dirt that when you click on it reads “Super Robot Elf”right next to the new district
3- Santa’s Workshop has appeared, but is still shadowed out and locked.
4- I have no page 4 in Santa’s Headquarters
I did send this info to Tinyco via in game messaging.

I went to Quahog and Peter Triggered the new Questline. Just tapped on “GO” to go to bakery, unlocked it, went to Pt 2 of the new Questline… new page is there. I also have the grey square in front of the Bakery.

For me, it’s gonna be a while before I get to this phase. I’m only on part 3 of escape to North Pole. Did I miss the walk thru for escape? Can’t find it. Would like to know what’s next.
I know you’re busy and battling some health issues, but, we need and value your guidance. Once again, thank you for all you do.

I clicked on “Let’s go”, but can’t seem to get past that. Does a character need to be free now to trigger the quest line to get it started?

Try going in and out of the North Pole and just tap on the greyed out Bakery area without the Questline. I just tried it in another game and I tapped on “Go” in the task, took me to the pop up with “lets go”… and it opened up.

Escape From the North Pole part 9??!! I wish I had known. I just started part 5. Wasn’t sure how many parts there were. Oh well it may take me a day or two but I do have just over 2000 presents saved up so hopefully I’ll be able to catch it back up quickly.

Hmm. I seem to be having a different glitch. The new area is unlocked, the new characters are available, but no questline, no page 4 items, and no way to progress any further 😦
I’m hoping it is due to characters being tied up with a raid, so will find out in the morning.

Same here. Fully updated. Finished part 9 a couple days ago. New district and Brian skin in costume shop are showing up. Buildings already built that drop items for Brian showing them on timers. But santas shop still only showing level 1,2, and 3 items, nothing for level 4, new district. As well clicking on new area shows gingerbread tank needed I guess to attack the new district then just drops you back to game screen with nothing further occurring.
On iOS iPad fully updated to newest iOS operating system.

It was all peter’s fault. He must be free as others have pointed out for any quest advancement. It’s all working for me now.

This glitch has handcuffed me bad. I lost my nutcracker truck so I can’t do that part to get chestnuts. In order to open the next part I need 500 presents. In order to get presents I need chestnuts. I only can cash in one spot for cars and hats combined. 😭 I hope they extend this event and maybe give us some free prizes to make up for it… After all its Christmas lol

Same here. I’ve completed everything and was waiting for the next phase. The only thing pending was the timed treehouse thing, or whatever it is. I hadn’t tapped on Santa’s HQ all week to prevent the timer from starting. I have plenty of present, but wanted to see if the treehouse drops any items during the new phase before spending presents.

I am encountering the same problem. I think it has to do with one of the six characters that are locked away. (Both my humma and my nutcracker truck vanished when i fully defeated their battles) As in, I think Peter can’t start phase 4 quest line while he’s locked.
It did let me buy t 1000 and start collecting some of the items for super spy Brian

I’m having the same issue. Peter is tied up in a raid so I’m hoping when he’s done the new questions will trigger. Santa shop is still at page 3 but I can start working on Brian’s new skin.

Once Peter completed his raid, the quest line started. Good to go now. Now if I only knew how many presents I need for the last item on page four… Queue Bunny!

What do you think about the clam prize for Jesus? Is 350 clams a lot? Don’t the characters that come back usually have a lower clam cost?

Bunny- do you know if Jesus will stay in the shop beyond this event? They didn’t put him in the regular event place.
Am loving the animated gingerbread and gumdrop stuff. At last, something other than war toys to spend bells on! Looks like we can buy more than one and they can be placed in Quahog or the North Pole?

Dear Bunny, I respectfully disagree. The event shouldn’t keep going. All the problems with the crash and vehicles missing should make them adjust the tournament. There is a rank that works as a tournament, and everyone that are experiencing the problems will have a huge set back at the quests, ranks and upgrades.
For myself, it’s the second time, since the ban at the beggining of the tournament, corrected with a simple sorry after being accused of cheater, am a lot disapointted. The ban didn’t allowed me to watch the ranks and decide if I would spend more or less clams, but per TinyCo, no harm was done.
Sorry to write this under this post, but since I’m not on a rant or something like that, just thought that I could expose my point of view.
Besides all that, thank you very much for keep the addicts rolling! You make a lot of difference for tons of players!

I put that comment there for this EXACT reason. The game Event was created months and months ago. Legal contracts signed. Copyrights obtained. Etc. These glitches did not exist at that time. They legally have obligations to follow those contracts just like anyone in life can’t just jump out of a contract without a HUGE fine and lots of other legal issues…
So like I said, I get the issues… I am not blind to them… but they have no choice but to continue with those legalities and contractual agreements they made. Similar to the stage… the show must go on. Sorry… sucks… but that is reality of business in the real world.
Please do not mistake my words as a stab against your frustrations. There is nothing I can do about the issues. All I can do is help, so please do NOT turn my helpful posts into vents about issues I am well aware of. Take those concerns to TinyCo if you think they should just shut it all down until fixed. In the meantime, allow my posts to do what they do… help. Respect and understand the comments I make have very good reasoning and back up behind them. Doesn’t mean you will like the answer, but it is still the answer. 🙂
