A little bit odd, but I haven’t gotten any prompts for timed challenges this entire event (aside from the ones that are at the end of each page in Santas HQ and for deals on boxes of clams). Not stressing one bit, just find it a bit strange. Must be some sort of glitch?
Anyway, I hope everyone had a lovely holiday! Thanks so much for everything you do for this site, Bunny! We appreciate it! Some days I feel like I’d be lost without all your help.

So Peter got unlocked, I completed the giving tree and now I’m looking through my inventory for it. I know it’s a quahog item, checked the decor tab…messaged tiny co. We’ll see what happens. Just glad they opened Peter up and I’m back in the to 1000 on the leader board

Merry Xmas, thanks for all ur advise, but I have a problem, my game has crashed completely, I cannot even open it, is anybody else having this problem. I have tried the usual, closing down, reloading etc but nothing seems to work HELP

I see the same glitch happened to me as well as a few other ppl. I completed the giving tree challenge only for nothing to happen when I tapped the “claim reward” button. When I force closed and checked my inventory I was shocked to find 69 trees! I’m kinda scared of being blocked from my game, but I did place three of the trees in my game…

I had 15 giving trees and put them all out. I got 12 clams from each for a couple of days but this morning 14 of them had disappeared and I can’t find them in my inventory. I’ve got a feeling I got a few from one of the surprise boxes… Any ideas folks?

Nice, but my chance to buy the tree will be expired before i can get back into the game. I was actually going to buy it so that i would have a nice amount of clams built up for the next few events, i usually spend 20 per week anyway.
What is really upsetting is that i am not goung to have a chance to move into the top 100, i have jumped from 200ish up to 120 over the last week.
I can play on my freemium account, so it’s not on my end.

The great disappearing Peter act! I’m working on the Biggest, Fattest Loser Pt. 4 and every time I start Peter on the “Super Ground Punch” or whatever, and then I go to the North Pole, he’s no longer doing the job and I have to restart him. And now he’s just plain gone.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’ve been playing the game 3-4 times a day from the first day and I only have 404 medals. The head of the leader board has over 10,000! I feel like everything takes for-bloody-ever and I’m not getting anything accomplished. And it seems like there’s only about 4 or 5 characters that actually do anything in the game. Am I missing something?

Just play. Do not worry about the “top players”. I spend thousands of Clams on Events and the Clams it would take to hold those positions? NOT WORTH IT AT ALL! Not for just a few items. Just play the main game, have fun, and don’t worry about “big spenders”. Let them blow their money and Clams, we are getting FREE Community Prizes still.

After I bought the second set, I no longer had the task available to buy the third, so it looks like they “fixed” it. Looks like the giving tree stopped giving! *chuckle*

I just bought the $9.99 clamp pack and got the 125 presents. Then I bought the $19.99 clamp pack and didn’t get the 300 presents. I’m afraid to buy the $49.99 clam pack and not get the giving tree. ANY HELP?

With regards to the Wishing Tree, I have a different issue. I was able to complete my purchase for part 1, but can’t now complete the purchase for part 2 – I just get the squirrel running back and forth with a message saying ‘Communicating with store…’, then after about 60 seconds I’m returned to the ‘Clam Shack’ purchase screen. I have no problems logging into the game, either via the mobile network or via wifi, so I know I have an internet connection. I’ve contacted TinyCo through the game, but don’t expect to get a response before the 24hr timer runs out!

i got a crashing thing again on iphone 5c. same as yesterday… it was working great until 2 pm today. now i cant get in at all. also merry christmas to everyone out there

Any reports of the game crashing before it loads up? The game was fine early this morning and then later it started to crash every time I would load the game and I still haven’t been able to get in all day. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it still does it. I have even tried loading it on my tablet and it crashes and thought it maybe Android related so I installed it on my friends I-Pad and it still crashes before it loads up. I am having nightmares about the Mobster event all over again.

I got the notification of the Giving Tree last night and got a weird glitch. When I completed part 3 i tapped the button to collect my prize, but nothing happened. I tapped it again, and again, kept tapping it, nothing. It wouldn’t let me out of the quest completion screen so I force closed the app. While in Quahog I went to my inventory and found I now had 35 Giving Trees. Sounds nice, but I don’t want Tiny Co to ban me for exploiting a bug so I only unpacked one and sent a message to them.
No reply as of yet, and I still have the other 34 in my inventory.
I think the problem occurred because I was in the North Pole when I completed the quest and the inventory screen there only includes event items, which the Giving Tree is not since it needs to persist beyond the 7th.

I have the same problem! The game “froze” on the screen that said “Congratulations”, but everything in the background still moved. I closed the app and now have 30 giving trees… I don’t want to be banned either! Guess I’ll message ’em too just in case. Looks like quite a few people are having the same problem!

I got exactly the same thing with tapping to collect the prize, got 27 trees, although I unpacked all the trees and now I can’t get into my game. I was in the North Pole as well when I completed the quest-line.
Hope there’s a fix issued soon, but also contacted Tinyco support.

Same here. Messaged them when I found my nine tree under Deco rather than Event. Only placed one because I didn’t want to get accused of an exploit. Still waiting on a reply too.

Well, I got a reply, but only to tell me that the tree was in my inventory… A) I know!! There were 30 of them; and B) That wasn’t actually the question, in fact there was no question only a statement. I placed 4, but I can’t move them back into the inventory as they are “too important”. I took a screenshot before they paid out, so they can reduce the amount of excess clams if necessary. Took a pic of the message as well, so they can’t claim it was cheating as they were actually informed.

Hey everyone, just wishing you all a merry Christmas and happy new year! Also, I went ahead and did the giving tree offer. When I went to claim the giving tree it wouldn’t claim it. I kept pressing the button for a while and with no luck I forced closed the game. When I got back in and went to my inventory I found 149 of the giving trees!!! WHAT!? I’ve only placed one down so far as I’m scared that if I place them all down TinyCo would think that I have hacked the game. What a crazy glitch! Do you think I should place them all down?

I suspect it was intentional, a little gift for being so obsessed that we check the game on holidays…. I got 16 clams at one time from clam TV, and it seems the opportunities for clam earning have been more frequent even for lesser amounts. The usual pattern for my game is six clams a day from the TV, either all at once or in installments.
When we watch more clam TV, that’s more money in their pockets so it’s all good. It doesn’t seem to be broken, the clams are still one per ad.

Well, I am an avid event clammer! Seen the special and went for it. Bought 1…..2……3….here comes the giving tree. NO! As I clicked claim reward…..Santa still asked for me to claim my reward. Click, click, click…..and Santa stood there very defiant……when suddenly, my app shut down. I reopened the FGQFS app and went to my inventory to plant my tree and it was very empty. I immediately wrote to Tinyco about the situation however, they probably won’t receive it until mayyyybe tomorrow….Monday at the latest. But that’s missing clams, missing items, but most of all, missing buying power. Any way you could help Bunny? Maybe someone else had the same thing happen and maybe you could pass along word to Tinyco. Anywho, Merry Christmas to all and to all, many clams!

It should be in your Quahog inventory, but it’s buried in a weird place in the middle instead of where you’d normally expect to find it. And you’ll probably find that you have several of them, like other posters. Same thing happened to me; I’ve only placed one, though, as any more would be an exploit, even if it was the game’s fault.

It’s nice for you to take a nice holiday break during this festive season. I just have a problem in this game.
My Peter is constantly stuck inside the humma even if he was doing other task and I’m really confused as I need him to collect eggnogs.

Yes, I am having the same issue with Peter. Stewie also gets stuck in the Nutcracker truck, even though I don’t have the Nutcracker Stewie costume. Even if Stewie is placed in inventory, it pulls him out of there. Don’t care so much about that, but losing all the eggnogs from Peter really is cutting down on the humma attacks.

Got somewhat of a glitch on the Giving Tree. The game froze when I clicked on the “claim” box. I had to shut down the game and brought it back up. After I finally found it in the inventory in Quohog, I didn’t have one Giving Tree; I had 47 of them. Yes, you read it right – 47. I placed them in my Quohog and took a screenshot and will send it off to you.

I hadn’t read your comment to claim it in town so the claim screen got stuck. I force closed and it was under regular buildings not the event tab, just in case it happens to someone else.

Now I hate to be Scrooge and I hardly complain BUT I still can’t get my Santa and Peter back. My Holiday Humma is there but when I go to Attack the Base I see hourglasses next to their faces. Customer service hasn’t helped. With Peter being blocked I can’t continue on my quests, take advantage of these free clams, or upgrade every week. I tried everything from force closing, restarting my game, trying to find that 1 coin humma in my cart. It’s like coal in my stocking this year. 😦

Sadly both Apple and Google have jacked up clam prices (along with every other game’s premium currency) massively in the past few months, meaning I can’t justify premium any more. The 1600 clam drum is $80 here now, up from $60 4 months ago.

I just took up the tree offer. When trying to click the button to claim my reward, it didn’t do anything so I was forced to crash out. When I went back in to Quahog, I found 37 giving trees in my inventory!! Each with 12 clams on a 24 hour timer
Did anyone else have this?

I did go for the givi g tree offer. A window appeared and Santa gave me the tree. The problem was that Incould not click anywhere. After 5 minutes, I had to leave the game and the tree is nowhere to be seen. Any idea? I will contact TinyCo!

Hello this is a nice offer but once again does me no good because Peter is still a lot along with Santa and Lyle Despite tiny giving us back the missing because the characters that were inside the vehicle at the time that I went missing are still locked in my game so without Peter I can’t really proceed very far or see any offers in the game at this time. Puppy Brian is a skin of Brian, you won’t find it in the inventory. You’ll find it when scrolling through Brian’s skins.

Puppy Brian is an outfit for Brian. Go to the Al Harrington’s (but if Brain is stored in your inventory you have to bring him out first).

You are speaking of two completely separate Character Costumes. Spy Brian… see the post below. Puppy Brian, check Al’s for a Clam cost on him.

I don’t know if it’s the same but for mine it was a skin for Brian. But I had won him in a previous event. So, mine is just like changing other characters outfits. Possibly you need to create the outfit at Als first. Maybe this helps, hope so.

Wow! Lots of people received tons of giving trees, while the bundle of joy I was looking to receive was not to be. I bought the packages and didn’t even get a sharing stick. Tinyco got back with me telling me to check inventory in Quahog……I’m no Clammin’ rookie, so, I politely informed them that I checked both inventories and cleared my cache after I discovered this. Unfortunately, I am still without. Anywho, hope everyone’s Christmas was jolly! CLAM ON!!!
