A lil Mini Event had dropped into our silly lil games, I assume it could possibly be due to some “thing” going on in the USA Next Tuesday. 😉
With the Lil Mini Event comes some random New Items. Take a peek below at all that you will see during Election Mini-Event!!

First up, the Basics
- Players will need to be on the App Market Version 1.29.6 or higher in order to see the event.
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s complete.
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more

In order to bring Barack Obama into your game, you will need to collect and unlock items during the Event. To see these items needed, you will first need to place the White House for $1000 and bring Barack into the game in front of the White House.
Once you place the White House and see Barack Obama, you can tap on him to see his “RENTAL AGREEMENT“. Tap on “GO” on the Rental Agreement to see the list of items you will need to collect to Unlock Barack Obama as a Character in your game. (Or just tap on the White House to see it)

You will notice there are Griffin Signs on the Buildings. These will be part of the game that you will use to gain Materials for other things. If you see a Griffin Sign on a Building, it will not be useable until the sign is cleared off. Tap on the sign to pull up the details for the Crane.

Reload Timer: Will reload 1 FREE Wrecking Ball every FOUR Hours. In short, you will automatically get at least one of them every 4hrs. 3hrs 30mins (still verifying if 4hrs, I missed start of timer).
Buildings With Signs: There is NO list available for this. I just know so far it seems at least the Basic District ones are being overtaken.
How Many, How Often?: Again, nothing available to compare to. I can only go off what I see. So far… I started with about six during Questline (7 needed for Pt 4), then about 3 to 4hrs later I saw 4 more. This WILL vary by Player.

Would anyone know dialogue for this part: After I clicked on Billionare Peter after he finished take cheap shots at piñatas task it looked like there was dialogue that I couldn’t read in time. I remember sending him from the presidential plan, so it could have been from that. It’s not from made of money, since I’m not there yet.If anyone by chance has this dialogue for the plan that would be great, just curious what it said. Thanks!

Every item on the Presidents lists pays you $87 coin to complete. So each time you check one of them off Peter pops up and tells you “Good Job” and shows the lil payout.

Use FaceSpace find to locate him. Zoom right in on any building in your town. Then click FaceSpace tab, go to Mort and open his FaceSpace page. Then simply hit X to close it and your screen should move to where Mort is in your town.

Reagan has actually appeared in cut-aways a few times. He was in “Peter’s Got Woods” and “Family Gay”. His voice is also a central plot point in “Meet the Quagmires”.

I’m curious about something. Do they need special legal permission to include a president (voiced or not voiced) in the game? Tasks are often satirical and I was thinking that maybe it’s considered disrespectful or offensive to do that with such public figures considering how they were portrayed in a few episodes. I’m still ‘surprised’ that they added a naked Clinton.

Dubya Hotel first is probably best, as that’s the only way to get Tailored Suits. You only need 3 but it’s an 8 hour cool down. POTUS Putt second (or first and Hotel second) since that’s the only way to get Small Loan, followed by Secret Play Place since that gives Tanning Lotion (though is not the only source of that). Since none of the other buildings help with Billionaire Peter, I don’t think order will matter after that unless a quest requires a specific one.

Im going slightly different – For unlocking Billionaire Peter, well since I always have trouble with Uncommon Drops I’m going to get those first, so Dubya Hotel, then Secret Play Place, and then finally Potus Putt. Then I will work on others from Obama’s list.

In what order would you buy the buildings needed for Billionaire Peter?
Dubya Hotel costs 30 Peter’s Change. Uncommon chance of Tailored Suits every 8 hours. Need 3.
POTUS Putt costs 18 Peter’s Change. Common chance of Small Loans every 4 hours. Need 5.
Secret Play Place costs 24 Peter’s Change. Uncommon chance of Tanning Lotion every 6 hours. Need 10, but Bonnie also drops them every 6 hours.
I think I’m going to place the Secret Play Place last since Bonnie also drops Tanning Lotion every 6 hours, but I need 10 and it’s an uncommon drop. I Then that would make the first and second building will be Dubya Hotel and POTUS Putt. I’m thinking of placing Dubya Hotel first because it’s an uncommon drop every 8 hours.

I’m planning to buy the hotel and secret play place first because uncommon items are my extra rare (for example, I have 5 hairstyles already but 0 lotion). Then the building for the common drop. I wouldn’t trust uncommon item sources to be the last. 🙂

Wrecking ball drop rate is too low. 11 buildings are blocked by the stupid G sign….so no $. I dislike this new expansion. It makes the game unplayable. Ill wait when everything turns back to normal.

As bunny said above, this game is for enjoyment…..although, it is very stressing at times!! Couldn’t believe this mini event dropped….about 2 weeks ago, I was saying to myself, would love if they did an event for the election.
Anyway, to not stress so much, did some math and decided to buy the “Griffin Mint” immediately to make this event a little easier. Anybody else purchase, so I can justify blowing my clams on only a 1 week event!? But figured it could be a 1 time opportunity to get the POTUS and his limo!! C’mon!!! 🙂

Don’t know why anyone would blow their clans on the Griffin Mint when George Bush is available for the same cost AND had a 4 hour task to drop a wrecking ball, which basically equals 2 bags of cash! Makes more sense to me to go for a brand new character as opposed to ANOTHER building to go into storage!?

Why does no site list the characters used in the event? Would be nice to have a list of characters that do/get something so using everything one can and get them out of the hotel so they can be used.

When I go to do Power Trip Pt. 3, Clear 1 Griffin Sign, it says”Youve gotten rid of all the griffin signs”. Ive gotten no signs. I now have 2 wrecking balls. been playing for 6 hours. when I started I nuked like I always do, so I don’t have many buildings. Should I put out all the buildings in my inventory out in quahog? Any help from anyone is great please. These guys(bunny, RT, etc) are pretty busy. if there are specific buildings please share, though the ones that ive seen in the discussion don’t have any signs.

I also have a sign on the Quahog Playhouse, Channel 5, Channel 5 car (I don’t remember the name and can’t see it when I click it); Taste of Sicily, the Dog Pound, the Fire Station, the Dog Park, Madeleine’s Boutique, the Bakery for dogs (that’s what it says on the building sign at least), and Pawtucket Pat’s mansion.

Got 1 wrecking ball and even used it on “Power Trip Pt.2” but it doesn’t seem to have registered on the quest. So I haven’t progressed to Pt. 3? Has this been the case for anyone else? Cheers!

Was it the standard wrecking ball you get every 4 hours? If so it won’t count, it’s got to be a wrecking ball dropped from a character task, either by Chris, Mort, Lois or George W Bush.

I found a trick to freeing up space. After each event, store everything you don’t want to use, and then go to the App and clear both the cache and the data (make sure your account is linked to google or IOS or whatever). Once you log back in, you’ll have to go to the account tab and “change users” to your original account.
The reason for the high memory is that it appears the phone stores every image for every building, even if you store the buildings. Once you clear the memory, the game will only redownload images for what you have out.

I never put characters in storage anymore now that we have tan lines, I max their level first and then put them on vacation until needed.
The mini events are WAY better and easier than the main events, I wish TinyCo would setup the big events the same way!
I don’t nuke my town, but the one positive Quest for Stuff has that Tapped Out does NOT … move data to SD Card … while you can for Tapped Out, only a small amount actually moves (pointless if you ask me), but TinyCo actually moves most of the data to the SD Card so my built-in memory is only using approximately 97mb, while nearly 3gb is on my SD and that’s after turning on low resolution in the game and clearing my cache 😉

So how is FGQFS allowed to parody or have famous celebs in the game? Do they have some sort of rights that TSTO doesn’t? Do they have to ask permission for every celeb they have?

Yes, TinyCo must negotiate rights, dread think of the lawyer time needed to get some of the celebrity characters they do. If you want a more detailed answer Bunny will elaborate.

Family Guy itself has always revolved more around going “real life” with “celebrities” where Simpsons always do their own thing. Simpsons usually had celebs just do voices for original characters and not have them portray themselves, thus creating a new Character. Family Guy always pushed to get the actual person portray themselves so we see the actual person incorporated into the cartoons.
Short story long, you’ll find thousands of celebrities playing themselves in Family Guy clips so you’ll see more of them pulled into the game vs TSTO. 🙂
Now TinyCo is still 3rd party in all this so they’ll still have to negotiate for legal rights to any and all “celebrities” or their portrayed Character in FG.

No… keep in mind a parody is just that. Think Saturday night live. TinyCo however does have to get rights from Fox and FG legal to use Characters or likeness from their show.

Thanks for the info. I wasn’t sure who all had tasks for wrecking balls, and I thought once you got them, it took 4 hours to load them into the crane, rather than “Hey, here’s a free one every 4 hours”. This will certainly speed things up. Good thing, too, you need 125 bags of change for everything for Obama!

I am hoping for some sort of cartoon crossover event. Should not be that hard. Voice actor for Carl is the same as Bob and Sterling Archer. Bender has appeared (but very brief) in the show. There’s an episode where they meet the simpsons if I recall correctly. And even looney tunes have appeared (bugs bunny and Elmer fudd in a cut away gag)

Cool, I guess. I mean, your U.S. election is all over our news here in Australia and has been for months, so why not incorporate it into the games we play as well 🙂
New characters are always welcome, but I’ve given up on stressing about it if I don’t get one. They rarely serve a purpose after the event anyhow, so no need to get uptight about it. If I get them, cool – if not, there’ll be another soon enough.

Aw man! 😊 I want Obama in my game so bad!! He would be perfect if they have him voiced!! Also, super tempting to get little georgie bush, he’s in the show so it’s sad they don’t have him voiced, the stuff he says on the show is HILARIOUS!!! Do they ever add a voice later on for these types of premium characters??
Another quick question: with the wrecking ball cool down…does that mean I get a ball(8hours?), hit a building(instant?), then have a 3-4 hour wait for the “reload” time to use another wrecking ball?? Thanks for any info, it’ll help me decide if George is worth the 250 clams😉

All depends on Copyright on what they can or cant do. IF they get legal release, they may add clips from the show. As both Bush and Obama appeared as FG Characters at one point in time.
No… you can use as many as YOU collect at anytime. It is how often you get one for FREE that the timer impacts. This allows ALL Players access to Wrecking Balls no matter what every few hours 🙂
So far, every Griffin Sign (as payment is linked to sign NOT building) I am gaining +2 Peter’s Change.

Are there specific buildings that can get the Griffin Signs? I usually nuke my whole town between events so almost everything is in my inventory now…

I have been seeing mostly the main buildings released each district right now. There is no “list” I have as of yet… seeing if I see trends.

Any guess on which characters earn cannon balls? So far I know Chris does, but I dont know any others… (i set my characters on longer actions thinking we would have 24 hours before anything new. silly me.

How bout just playing the game for the enjoyment of playing and see where it takes you? To be judge, jury, executioner before it starts… well… it sounds like maybe it isn’t a game for you if it really makes you that upset and sad all the time. Just sayin. Just giving my honest opinion on a game that really has been the same since it launched in 2014. Full of challenges and NOT a simplistic tap and done game. Never was, never will be 🙂

I understand your frustration. I feel the same. I just wish some things didn’t feel impossible without having to buy clams. I love the game, but i don’t know how people move through so fast without spending a small fortune.

I play a lot, that’s way I get through things without spending a lot of clams. But I understand everyone has their own routines and those dictate how much they can play.
