With the New Event comes, of course, the New Main Questline that will direct us along the Mini Event. For Road to Bollywood, the Main Questline is Hooray For Bollywood.

Yeah, I’m thinking it is again impossible to finish this questline within the allotted week. Last weeks was the same. I was unable to finish due to time on tasks, and number of building tokens received. This time it is time on tasks and number of resources needed to attack Ganesha. In order for me to get Ganesha I will need to attack him all the way through level 5 this time. My timer just started so I need to have enough resources by 12:30 pm tomorrow. I don’t even have have enough right now to attack him on the first tier. C’Mon TInyCo…. help out the players a little. I don’t expect this game to be easy, but impossible without spending $$??
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still enjoying it, I just get put off a little when I do the math and see that completions are becoming impossible unless you spend clams…

I’m now up to part 8, but in order to “Place the Taj Mahal”, I need another 600 rupees. I earn 10 for clearing tigers, so I reckon I’ll have earned enough by 3-4 days…after the event ends! Am I missing something or now that Ganesha has been achieved, I can’t earn rupees very quickly?

Think i will ignore the questline after part 4. Don’t want to waste the ruppees on the elephant when I need the buildings to have half a chance of getting Stewie’s outfit.

So at ‘Hooray For Bollywood Pt. 8’ we will need to have unlocked Ganesha? I saw him in the inventory, but it isn’t mentioned anywhere that you should place him.

You need to get 115 Blessings from offerings to the Ganesha Boss to earn him, then you can place him in your game.

Not sure I see any point going past “Hooray For Bollywood Pt. 4”.
Placing buildings that do nothing and cost many more rupees than you make from the quest. Does finishing part 5 do anything special? I wonder if I can even earn the Ganesha in time without clams..

I agree! If I’m going to be purchasing another building I’d choose the Taj Mahal. Placing the Bollywood set to earn 3 Rupees is certainly not going to help me bank 1,000 of them. At this point I’ll be lucky to get Stevie’s costume. The buildings that do drop have only given me 2 bangles since I purchased them.

So I had a happy little glitch that happened to me. I had to purchase 130 clams (4.99) to finish getting giant chicken for 160 clams (I had 30 left). The game gave me a purchase error as I needed to verify my card info (once again, seems like I have to once a month.) after I verified it told me to try my purchase again. So when I did, it gave me 130 clams, twice. 260 clams. I had tinyco check and verify that only one purchase was charged, which it was. Essentially, I got 130 clams free, technically only costing me 30 clams for Giant Chicken. 🙂

Indeed you struck clam gold. Glad TinyCo could also confirm only one charge, nothing worse than a nasty surprise when you look at your statement.

Like it, but it should definitely last longer than a week — this would’ve made a great full-length event!

So I sent Bonnie Chris and Lois on their 8 hr task 3 times each and only one drop so far. Not too encouraging . Plus Chris is the only free character that can clear tigres while he’s also needed for something else. Looks like TC isn’t really listening, or just doesn’t care about our frustrations.

I’ve had better drops sinc I placed the building, and Chris has been clearing tigers constantly To get those rupees
