Hey There Clammers!
With the introduction of Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff there’s a whole cast of characters to unlock in your rebuild effort of Quahog! These overview posts are designed to give you a quick breakdown of the characters, how you unlock them & their tasks so you can play FGG more efficiently!
Of course there will be those players who don’t want to know the details of unlocking the characters so for that reason we’ll post all of the details below the fold. So if you don’t like to know what’s going on before you play don’t click read more…CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD
The next character we’ll tackle on our character overview is Joe Swanson. Joe is one of the characters you’ll unlock in the School District, and the 9th or 10th character you’ll unlock in TQFS (Depending on if you unlock him or Herbert first). So let’s break down Joe and his tasks…..

How are YOU enjoying the Family Guy game? You working your way through the Districts or are you still playing 6s Leap Frog with Peter & Chris while Bonnie sells her goods? (see tips for getting started if you’re confused by this reference!) Are you liking the change to more characters with 1minute tasks?
Well one of the cool features of the Quest for Stuff is the ability to unlock additional costumes for some characters. These costumes are not only hilarious to look at but they provide an entirely different set of tasks for the character, as well as unlocking their own questlines…filled with hilarious dialogue!
One costume you’ll earn on your Quest for Stuff is Goth Chris, a punk rocker costume for Chris. Somewhere between the School District & Pirate’s Cove the quest to unlock Speedo Quagmire will pop up for you! So let’s take you through the steps to unlock this rocker costume for Quahog’s “special” one..

UPDATE: Now that the event has actually ended, we’ve reopened the poll question. Let us know if you’ve unlocked Pee Pants. This is a NEW poll, so if you answered the old one you’ll need to redo it since the old poll was skewed because of the extended event.

Now that the Clown Event has come to an end it’s time to see how YOU did. We want to know if you unlocked the Pee Pants costume. UPDATE 1:35pm EST: We just received word direct from TinyCo that this will end at 3pm EST (noon PST). So in just under 1.5hrs from now. So if you have any last minute collecting to do get those clowns while you still can.
Good Morning Clammers,
Well after a tense weekend and the constant signs of Ends Sunday I fully expected to wake up this morning to a Clown Free Quahog…..however this is not the case. It looks like the circus is still in town!
So if you haven’t yet unlocked Pee Pants you still have time to get those last minute clowns to drop pies and horns!
Now…BEFORE you guys start to yell at me (cause I know there are some of you that spent clams to get that last little bit because you were afraid you wouldn’t get it)…we FULLY expected (just like you) for this event to end last night (the poll question post was written ahead of time and scheduled for this morning). It looks like this was something that was extended at the last minute, perhaps because of your feedback on the Good, the Bad and the Not So Pretty. Things like this are why we always encourage you NOT to spend clams to speed things up. You never know what might happen with events like this.
At this point I don’t know when they will disappear. I’m working on trying to find that out, but keep in mind I’m on the East Coast of the US and TinyCo is on the West Coast (3hrs behind) so it might take a little bit for an answer to come back as it’s not even 6am there yet. So right now all I can say is just keep playing and see what happens.
As you are playing through quest lines, finishing up some tasks, or seeking to get those “rare” items for our characters… you may catch a glance at some of the funny moments that happen in our games. For those of you that are watching and are actually able capture these rather silly and strange things as they happen, we want to see them.
Now comes the fun part, once a week we will be posting these silly images here but want YOU, the readers, to caption them for us. So put on your silly thinking hats, let out that lil comedian inside, and have some fun! (Keep them PG please.)

We’re back with another edition of Tell TinyCo! Our good friends over at TinyCo have been so awesome at wanting YOUR opinions and feedback on the game, and LISTENING to you! Yes, that’s right they actually listen to what you have to say…not only that they want to hear YOUR opinions! 
So our friend Matt just sent us this great email last night and would love to hear more from YOU! Here’s what he had to say:
Hi Addicts!Just a heads up: we’ve received a ton of awesome feedback from players about the clowns event. We’re blown away by the excitement so far.We also hear loud and clear that players would like more coin items to enjoy the event. To that end, we’ve switched the Strength Test item from 25 clams to cost 1000 coins.We’d love to hear more of your feedback. While we can’t incorporate EVERYTHING, we intend to read every last piece and use it to inform the next event…..Would y’all be up for doing a “Good” and “Bad” thread, like you did for the launch of the game?-Matt
We really value our relationship with our friends over at TinyCo, and love how they take the time to listen to players opinions about the game. They value that feedback so much, and often make changes on the fly based on it. (shorter tasks, premium items becoming freemium) They really are listening, and want to make this the best game out there!
So sound off in the comments below with your thoughts. The good, the bad and the not so pretty of The Quest For Stuff…we want it all. Don’t be shy…but be respectful…let them know what you think!

Seeing lots of questions pop up in the comments and on Facebook about what happens once you’ve cleared the 10 required clowns for the task with Chris. Do the clowns stop appearing? Will you be able to earn all the required horns and pies? Do you have to buy premium? Why is TinyCo Forcing you to spend clams? And my personal favorite…Why Don’t they give us MORE free clams?! So let’s take a look at all of these and more….I promise it’s not as bad as it may seem.
