TinyCo announced a little bit back that they wanted to try out a Reddit AMA. There were mixed feelings about them doing this, but overall… I am REALLY appreciative that the Newer Positioned Staff handling Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff is once again going above and beyond to reach out to their Players and communicate with them.
I did monitor off and on, however I did not participate due to I did not want to take away from other Players getting a chance to voice their opinions. I get to do that on a daily and sometimes hourly basis with TinyCo already. Lol.
Let’s take a closer look at some of the things of interest I wanted to point out. 🙂
Ahoy there, in between guzzling whiskey and stoking the cannon, I thought I’d take a break in crew quarters and put together all the information you need to complete the Phase 2 main Questline, Trawl of Booty.
Okay addicts, let’s all do the slosh? No! Okay let’s all get sloshed? No! Jeez you guys are a tough audience. Okay, okay then I’ll do what you want and talk about The Sloshed Schooner.
Start stocking up on the whiskey, (sorry living in the spiritual home of said elixir I have to shout very loudly it’s WHISKY, please remove the “E” TinyCo, but feel free to add a splash of water and ice to mine instead), as there’s another battle afoot on the high seas.
Pt. 1 of the main Questline Trawl of Booty will prompt you to repair the Sloshed Schooner. This has a 10 sec repair and once repaired your Schooner will be ready to go into battle against Blackbeard’s Scurvy Squadron.
Hi there shipmates. I’m getting a load of questions on Octopuses, and considering I’m not a marine biologist that’s something I never thought I’d say. But desperate times call for desperate measures, so for all those fellow addicts crying out “Where’s my Octopuses?” here’s the answer.
With our sea under siege I though I’d better evacuate my Tan Lines Resort again, to check if there was anyone working on their tan whilst they should be all at sea helping with this event. Over 140 characters later, what did I find?
NOTE BUNNY: I was informed by TinyCo that the Event wasn’t as of yet live, however I am seeing items popping up in my game now as well as the new Questline for Phase 2. I have not seen a FAQ as of yet from them or confirmation it should be out… so I am posting this info… but with caution until fully confirmed that Phase 2 should actually be Live and active in our games.

With a sprinkling of fairy dust and a whole lot of rum, the high seas and all that sails in them have been washed ashore in our games. As we move into Phase 2 we thought we’d bring you a shipping forecast covering all the must know information.
To see Peter’s Booty Haul live in your game you must update your game to version 1.28.0. Once you’ve done that it’s all hands on deck as you can pull up anchor and dive into the event.

I FINALLY have what they are calling “internet” back. Sketchy still, but it is what it is. BIG BIG BIG props to Russian Tigger & Lotty for all their amazing help while we attempted to communicate in the mess as much as possible. 
Now to the task at hand, having a chance to chat with TinyCo. Many of you may already know (or may not) that many changes have been amiss at TinyCo HQ the last year and there are many new faces there. In still trying to keep in communication with their players, they are wanting to do a “ASK ME ANYTHING” coming up on Reddit.
This will be your chance to directly pose questions to a few members of the TinyCo staff and maybe learn a bit more about them. The Reddit AMA is coming up THIS FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 9th (starting roughly at 130pm Pacific).
