So the New Year partying is over, the fire works have burnt out, the sseason of goodwill is behind us and the Best of event has launched in our games. Yes looks like 2017 is here to stay, well for another 357 days at least.
Whats an Addict to do once the party’s over and the daily grind has returned? Well apart from enjoying breaking all those new year resolutions, how’s about helping TinyCo to make some? C’mon lift your 2017 already weary heads from their Sunday slumbers and take this once in a blue moon, ok once in a year, opportunity to tell TinyCo what YOU want to see in the Family Guy The Quest for Stuff game in the year ahead.

Toys are falling, all around us, Heimlich’s choking, having fun, ’tis the season of love and….., oh sorry there I go again, mind wandering off in any old direction. A bit like Peter’s mind when he’s supposed to be concentrating on the job. Why do I keep going back to toys, well it’s because a bizarre bunch of them have only gone and been delivered to Quahog as part of the Quahog’s Not So Silent Night.
Now many of you will probably recognise some of these toys, although hopefully not from your Christmas stockings, but just exactly where have we seen these bizarre toys before? Well in the Family Guy TV show of course. They actually all made their an appearance in the very first episode, so we’re going to need to cast our minds way back to January 1999. Wow!!!

Robots transforming, all around us, Negatron’s moaning, not having fun, ’tis the season of bots and….., oh sorry there I go again, mind wandering off in any old direction. A bit like Negatron and his negative nelly thinking. Why do I keep going back to Negatron, well apart from the fact thats he’s too negative, he’s only gone and appeared in Quahog as part of the Quahog’s Not So Silent Night.
Now all my fellow gaming geeks probably recognise Negatron is a parody of a very well known Decepticon but just where have we seen him in Family Guy before? Well he was actually created just for the show and has made one appearance to date, in a very, very funny cutaway.
Hey there readers, I’d like to welcome you to my first event review of 2017, where today I’m going to be talking, ok, crying into a giant tissue due to a dose of the holiday blues brought on by pixel pills, triangles, care packages and more. Or to put it simply the event that just was, Quahog’s Not So Silent Night. After 5 weeks of arcade madness it’s all over but for the poll, and hey I know we all uttered Game Over, over and over during this event. Nothing was handed to us as a gift in this, it was one tough event and I’m not sure many of us will be saying victory was ours this time!!!
Still on a high from the well executed Oz event, I must admit I skipped into this event with very high hopes. Retro Arcade characters are back in fashion thanks to movies such as Wreck-It-Ralph and Pixels, and I felt it was only a matter of time before FGQFS did an event featuring them, as so many of the Arcade characters had featured or been parodied on the TV Show.
