Hey there Clammers, Bunny hopping on by to make a cute lil cozy spot in our new lil world where you can shout at me…errr…well…comment to me anyway of the big (or lil) glitches and hiccups you are running into with your game. We are bound to run into a few as the game gets its bearings. No worries, they eventually get ironed out and patched up.
So here is a place that you can come to and notify us when you run into troubles with a glitch. This way I can pick up on a trend and let TinyCo know right away so they can work on correcting it. They are quite fantastic to work and communicate with. Very helpful to their players.
So tell me your problems and try to include a few key points like the device you play on and/or what was happening when you experienced the Glitch.
As always, you can use the great design of the game to get further help should you need it. Just a tap of the Menu and go into Help & Support.
UPDATE 4-13 6:45om EST:
TinyCo has found the source of the timing issue with the characters (they start a task and after being left for hours, still have same time remaining as when you left the game.) Update to resolve the issue is in the process along with Bruce Glitch.
Here are a few suggestions from TinyCo to resolve issue in the meantime.
In some cases, if you log off before a character begins an action, the game will not start the action. You will know an action has started when you see the countdown timer appear.When you assign actions, wait until the action countdown timer begins. Once the action is going, it is safe to log off.To be extra sure, we recommend leaving the game running for a minute or two before exiting.
For those of you with the “Bruce” screen continuously popping up, please go to our Bruce Glitch Thread and follow the instructions there. I will continue to update it as I get response back.

I updated the app yesterday the second since the Comic-Con event began art first I got the asset error msg and my phone an HTC one would reboot I uninstalled and reinstalled it now it won’t load

Send TinyCo an email letting them know the update/uninstall method won’t work for you. You may have to wait for a a full patch to be released before it works for you.

I am having the problems with my phone resetting since the last update I see that you guys are currently working on it please extend the event. Plus just an FYI I was not even able to start the event until 7/31 where as others I know that are playing the game had it for about a week before me

I cannot zap the building if someone finished an action inside. Also cannot get to the character. So both are stuck. Tapping gives me the zap gun but the zap doesn’t go through.

Try a hard close an restart your device, see if that helps clear out the issue. If not definitely send an in game message

Hmmm so you’ve got the crashing bug. Try hard closing and restarting your device, then try again. If that doesn’t work try hard closing, clearing the cache, uninstalling, restarting your device and download again. (only do this if you have an account setup for your game) Let me know if either of those help it 🙂

Last update locks up my phone as soon as the Cranston guy window opens. So much for timed events. If I uninstall and reinstall will I lose my progress? I’m at level 40

Did you ever visit friends in the game (you could only do that if connected to FB)? Also, go to your Facebook account, go to “settings” then “apps”….if your game is linked, it will show up there. 🙂

So, if i am connected to facebook, my quahog will be saved? Does that mean i would b able to uninstall and install it again and get my quahog back after connecting to facebook again?

When you go to open up family guy and the Error code appears, tap the Ok button on the message about 30 times quickly or so and it lets you in the game and the Error disappears!

Ive been locked out of my game for a few hours ive lost quite a few clams i was almost to the max rewards for fighting giant stewie and now I won’t get my massive blam or the rewards (wonder woman Lois) and im out the money I spent on clams… it just kicks me off every time I log on and even restarts my phone I don’t know what to do

Keep tapping the ok button on error code and it eventually goes away and lets you Back into the game! I just figured this out.

I don’t know where to post this but the proper channel is not working. I dropped and broke my iPhone 4 that had the family guy app on it and about 100 in clams purchased (45 of which hours before the phone dropped) my town can still be visited by my friends, but I have no way to access this. When I go to tinyco.com and send them an email telling them this, I get an automated email saying to open my old phone and get the player id and phone Id. I write back that that’s impossible because the old phone is destroyed. I receive no reply. I have tried this 3 times in the past 10 days with nothin more than an automated response. What do I do? Is there a number I can call? I either want my town back or the clams in a new town, either all 100 worth, or at very least the 45 dollars worth that I spent 3 hours with. But really just my town back would be nice. Please help me. -adam

Don’t know if it’s just me, but yesterday I put all my characters on a 4 hour task at about 1pm, at 7pm they still had 2 hours left to complete the tasks, at 11pm they were still going, they finally finished some time around midnight! Anyone else found this glitch recently?

The timer glitch has hit most of us at one time or another. This latest content update has made the game a bit unstable in different ways for different players. Keep an eye on it and see if it continues. If it does, send an in game message to TinyCo. Let us know how it goes. 😉

The friends crashing is a know error. Right now there’s no fix for it, at least from us. You’ll have to send an in game support message to TinyCo about it

Did anyone else realize that the Zapper recharge time is not 6 hours but 4 hours? Is this only temporary for the Fabulous quest? Also am at 10,000 !Blam and am REALLY enjoying this game!!!

I updated my game for the Comic Con stuff. Ever since then (yesterday, 7/31), I have been unable to load the game on my Nook HD. Every time there is an update to the game, this happens. Is this going to be fixed anytime soon??

Hey there I’ll put my characters to work and when I come back it shows the characters walking around when I set them to do a task. I thought maybe ok I must have not dragged the task over their heads so I watched and it worked the characters were all at work. But I come back knowing I had time to spare before they were done their task and they weren’t doing it. I missed out on a lot of coins to help build my level up. Can we please get this fixed and for my trouble and hard work can I at least get something out of it? I do like this game and I got 9 people playing it and they have invited a lot of their friends. I’d hate to leave but all my hard work by logging in and waiting for coins and stuff to collect is for nothing. I’d appreciate if this glitch can get fixed. Thank you.

You need to send a message to TinyCo from within your game. We are not TinyCo, nor have any affiliation with them. Were just gamers like you, but we do have a line of communication with the directors and they do monitor this site. Sometimes, if you close your game too quickly, the auto save does not save the assigned task. Just make sure the timer starts to count down. I also soft close my game first, wait a couple of seconds, then hard close it. 🙂

I would suggest WiFi anytime if possible as it seems to be more stable for the games then the data plans. That also depends on your WiFi signal too.

I am at the Comicon stage of the game and have unlocked Hammer Peter. After doing a task with him and trying to claim the reward a message saying “unable to locate viewcontroller” comes across the screen and the game restarts.

I play Family Guy, a Quest for Stuff on my iPhone 4s. I have been trying to log on and it keeps saying “unable to create view controller.” It just keeps trying to load and repeating that message. There is nothing wrong with my WiFi.

Hmmm…not experiencing it on the S4. Report it please via your in game menu and I will keep an eye out for trending issue. In the meantime, attempt the basic troubleshooting like hard close, reset, or if want and account linked to email or FB….uninstall/reinstall.

Hi there, I play the game on my HTC One Android every day and have never had problems up until early this morning. I downloaded the new ComicCon update this morning and now every time I try to play the game, it starts loading and then crashes, telling me that something went wrong. Please help. I have tried restarting my phone and it still won’t work.

The game needs lots of free memory space. The new event may now be too big for your device. Make sure the every all is hard closed and nothing running in the background. Clear your memory cache then restart your device. See if the game starts then…if not, you can send email to help@tinyco.com
Ask if others are reporting problems with this same issue on the same device.

Just a note on the crashing issues, I find that if I reset my tablet before I go into the game I don’t get any issues. I was unable to visit friends and had problems with dialogue boxes too. Just hard closing the app didn’t work, I now just restart my tablet before I log in to the game for the first time each day and don’t experience any issues with subsequent logins. Must be an issue with the cache data. Hope that helps.

Hi I have a funny Glitch to talk to you about! One of my friends stopped playing when they were still doing the pyramids and they never got back on it again so the pyramids are still there. When I visit them and go back to my game to collect Blam, i actually collect butts instead! Lol it still counts as blam and usually when the game reloads it go back to normal! It’s too funny and I thought I would share!

I have Peter on task, yet there are several “Shadow Peters” throughout my game. I’m not seeing any other posts about this online. Are they normal, and serve a purpose, or is there something wrong with my game? When I go to the quest screen about red nerds, it takes me to one of the Shadow Peters.

Sometimes it’s just part of the game that hasn’t loaded properly on that start up. Try hard closing the app and restarting it, should correct the problem 🙂

keep in mind TinyCo gets a TON of support tickets daily so they could just be backed up and/or investigating it further for you. If you want to try another method try uninstalling the app and download a fresh version from the App Store for your device. That could/should help clear up any corrupt files that might be in your game. 🙂

It’s an on going glitch with visiting friends. TinyCo is aware of it and constantly working on repairs for it, however right now there’s no “quick fix” for it.

I have multiple glitches involving Carter, the energy drinks and clams.
Carter- I was closing in on get the 25000 coins for Carter when the counter reset to zero. I am no closing in on 25000 coins again hoping the glitch will not repeat!
Energy drinks- When I hit 1,000 energy drinks the counter reset to zero. Help!!!!
Missing clams-When I got the Falcon Peter suit I was told I received 25 clams. However, 25 clams was not added to my total.

Send a message to TinyCo about the coin and Blam reset. The 25 clam message is a known bug. It was send prematurely. You need Spanish Soap Peter (Peter’s Costume Box #1) to compete the set. That costume is not yet available. 🙂

Hi Can someone help me out? I recently deleted the game from my iPhone, because I wanted to get it on my iPad instead, but when I downloaded it on my iPad it did not sync my old account (which is attached to my Facebook). I’ve tried deleting and resetting it, but nothing happens. I also tried trying to log into the Facebook account from the game, but it says if I do it will write over the file. What should I do?

I don’t have an iOS device, I have an android. Samsung galaxy note tablet. I’ve read the faq before I posted here as that deals mainly with apple products. Ive emailed tiny Co support three times but only ever receive the initial standard respose. They ask for my user or game player ID but I cannot access the game at all to obtain that information.

Sadly, we are just gamers, like you, and don’t have access to your game. Be patient (I know, easier said than done), send them another email, tell them the Facebook account or email account info you have linked to your game. Remind them that you can’t GET into your game to give them your game ID. Tell them you don’t want another “generic” response and to please get a reply from an IT employee. Stay on them.

Right after I downloaded this update my game stopped letting me on and started crashing on the loading screen. I tried clearing the cache then delegating and reinstaling the game but it still crashes! And I just got my game working again and was about to open another tea party box. Does anyone else’s game crash at least once every time they try to play? Several crashes a day is starting to make me go doolally. Ive noticed its more likely to crash when loadin quest dialogue, level up notifications, accessing the joke facebook thing and ALWAYS when entering another players town. I just lost bloody clams doing this. Im on Android on a Samsung galaxy s3, is it just me getting thus frankly irritating issue?

Hi, every time I try to get on the game it loads a bit, stops then plays the music and then crashes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still does the same thing my game runs in an apple and an android but this glitch is only affecting my apple. Is there anyway to fix this?

Try clearing the cache, uninstalling, restarting your device & reinstalling it. See if that helps retrigger it

I was lvl 40 at the update and for about 2 days after I was gaining xp until the bar hit about 1/3 full, and it has now completely frozen and has not gone up in days, anyone else had this issue?

it might just be a higher requirement to get it to move. Give it a little more time and see if it progresses at all (you might see it jump in one day), if not best bet is to contact TinyCo. The good news is the levels mean nothing in this game, so it won’t hinder your game play. 🙂

Why can’t I find Cleveland? Everybody says he’s in the inventory but he doesn’t show up in mine. It doesn’t look like he’s available in the character tab either.

server might just be down on your game. Try hard closing the app waiting a few minutes and trying again. Sometimes it takes a little bit to come up on certain games 🙂
