Hi there Quahogians!
I’m jumping in to give you a special post before we fully recieve this brand new content update. I’m going to take a look at the description from TinyCo, and investigate what it could mean.
TinyCo said:

So what does this mean?
Well, from what I can gather, the Event is somewhat like the older events from the Simpsons Tapped Out. Maybe you have to get a unique “stuff” to unlock maybe 10 unique prizes. I also think that it is going to bring with it a large pyramid (I wouldnt have guessed that, lol) that generates this new “stuff”. I could also conclude that each week, a new part of the storyline will be unlocked, to keep you gripped to the game. I’m sure that whatever it is, TinyCo will make it big as their first major event. 🙂
What do you think? Am I right? Well this is to keep you guessing right before the content is released – and who knows when TinyCo will do it?

While I’ve been waiting for the new content I saved up enough to buy the Lincoln Memorial. If this takes much longer, I might get the Dictator Stewie too lol

There’s no new content yet. The event hasn’t started. All the update did was pull the files for both platforms onto the server (and fixed a few other glitchs) so that when they’re ready to launch it they can do so. 🙂

This game is really bad was enjoying it but Simpsons Tapped out is 1000 times better quests require just 1 person mostly peter and way to expensive to buy things as far as getting clams i get more donuts on Simpsons just for finishing something or moving up a level really disappointed in Family Guy it jumps around to much and mostly doesnt pertain to the show in any kind of order could be better planned out

I don’t think I’ve seen it mentioned but after the update (finally got it an hour ago, whoop!) the font on character actions and time remaining until action complete has changed.

Has rarity of items been tweaked? Cause ive been sending lois on the headband quest for weeks with little to no success and today i got TWO headbands within a few hours! Maybe its just a coincidence or i got lucky but just wondering if anyone else has had something like this…

As far as we know, no. It is random. And from what we’ve been told it can be 30 attempts without one and then 2 or 3 in a row. 🙂

I would also guess, based on the “Improved squatter spawning” update, that there’s going to be a group of somethings wandering around Quahog that can be eliminated for currency, like the clowns, and that they will work this time!

Yes, that is possible but who knows what TinyCo will throw at us? I just know that this event will be something good 🙂

My guess, we will have “Mummys” wandering around. And Peter and Others will have to send them back to their tombs……then the final prize will be unlocking Cleveland. But, of “curse”, this is just a guess….lol

Well, I’m totally confused. Both my iPhone and iPad show the new photo icon from the new update but when I try to pull the game up… Nothing. I keep getting the “upgrade” message which takes me to the App Store but no way to upgrade. My family members are experiencing the same on their iPhones/iPads. Perhaps this is just an issue with those devices??

There isn’t any released content yet, it was only the app store update. I’m not sure if this is what you mean? I would suggest hard closing the app, and checking the app store for an update without going through the family guy app. If this doesnt work, I would hold tight, it sounds like the update may have automatically downloaded and, in which case, you would just have to wait 🙂
