Love love this game! The free clams were an awesome surprise! comic con event has been great so far. Too bad I’m an android guy 😦 still can’t zap a gold nerd without the game crashing. I contacted tinyco a week ago, with no response. Any suggestions?

Thank YOU Tiny Co for being AWESOME! I wish it was a free Bryan Cranston (or return clams for those who purchased him) lol but that is wishful thinking. If you hard crash your game, you can keep getting free clams over and over. I was able to get 900 clams and counting on my tablet.

Felicia needs two dice and two telescopes and I spam Bryan Cranstons voice over and over when I’m lonely. 1200 clams spent this event (bar, BC).
I feel like Tinyco played a very interesting card. Instead of boosting Blam for Android, they made 100k a ‘breaking point’ so to speak. I predict a freemium OS player with hardcore (10+ check ins per day) tendencies could achieve roughly 130k Blam. This isn’t including what’s yet to come.
An Android freemium player with the same playstyle can achieve about 105-120k. Anything beyond 100k is a moot point.
it’s interesting because they found a way to level the field with the week delay while simultaneously avoiding all inequalities between operating systems.
If you’re still with me, you can see that their ‘high prices’ are becoming justified. With George Takei off his pedestal, premium players are SECURING George Takei, and freemium players have a very very strong chance at obtaining him.
Not sure if this makes any sense, but it’s a very clever way of balancing this event WHILE practicing balancing events. I have an above average level of faith that future events hosted in Quahog will reach the ultimate FtP mecca:
50% of players making happily making micro purchases.
7% of players making large purchases
Instead of
25% micro
3% large
(Numbers are an example but not far off from current statistics)

Might want to hold on to them till end of the event. Never know if you are gonna need clams to finish getting a costume or celeb before the deadline.

Felicia is probably my favorite celebrity in this event. I was very excited when I heard she would be in the game. I’m only 1 telescope away from getting her!

Most with extra clams buy premium characters to add new faces to their towns and new buildings. Some buy buildings that look cool to them AND help drop items to assist in a character unlock. It really is a personal decision. Pick things you like and will make you happiest. The Super Joe costume appears to still be on the back burners, TinyCo will only say their favorite word…”Soon!” 😉

I would HIGHLY recommend Bryan Cranston. His drops of Pesticides guarantees you can get 25x streek for Giant Stewie and that should catch you up and get you to 100,000.

That is really odd. The only way you would have got that is if you went into the market and purchased them. Did you buy chance go into the market to try and collect this offer?
This pop up did not use the markets at all. Just like the Blam! it was just a few taps in your town and they were added instantly.

I never went in the market. I had 44 prior to claiming the free clams and now I have 94. I just contacted them. I never put my password in for the market either, which it does with any charge.

I’m having my first bug, my Redhot is stuck in the fabulous 4 building. The building is violet from a mutant Stewie.
It only shows a task complete symbol, and not the Stewie symbol. When I click on it, it opens the laser gun. If I click on the laser gun, it cocks back as if too shoot, but nothing happens and the game freezes. I’ve tried to use the inventory to move the building, but once I hit the building in inventory mode, it goes back to the game.
She’s stuck!

We are getting a few reports of this. You can try in the meantime to kick her out by storing the building, otherwise wait til the latcher moves on in 8 hours. Please send a report to TinyCo so they know you are one of those impacted. 😉

I just wish they would fix both the ham/no ice cream and the very upsetting (for me) blam event score glitch which seems to have got so bad I can’t even click coins now or the blam won’t register to the event score (although still adds to my currency)

Ice cream is rare, like eyeballs but not quite…so it is normal to not see a ton of them.

Awww that would be nice if it could, but those hams are common and completely independent of the ice cream. Still got to get them the same way as other rarer items. Keep trying. They will come eventually.

So, its abnormal that I have 20 extra-rare items to unlock Felicia in the same time it took to get 2 ice-cream for Blobulous?
The rarity isn’t the issue. extra rare’s drop fine now since they added the drop rate increase after failed atttempts. It seems like the ice creams drop rate isn’t going up after a miss.
Maybe its not a glitch, but it is abnormal behavior given what was announced about drop rates. If it was just a matter of rarity and luck, why aren’t we seeing equal numbers of poste about 8-sided dice and telescopes?

So I finished with family guy for the night, thought I’d go on Facebook for half hour before I went to bed, then finally checked on this (save the best till last and everything 😉 ).. Family Guy was loaded straight back up instantly to claim my 50 clams!

Super happy with this. Honestly I didn’t even get hit by the bug because I had a busy weekend and didn’t get on much but it’s awesome to know they do little things like this. The rupert extension was one thing but this is “FREAKING SWEET!”
I did spend money for the 4000 blam! thing though and now i truly believe tinyco deserved my money.

I think got the peter dialogue, because something popped up earlier but I accidentally clicked past it, so I’m assuming this is what it was, but no clams got added to my total clam count. Should I wait to contact tinyco if it was the same pop up? Or has this happened to anyone else?

While they gave out 50 free clams which I’m very grateful for. They also took away my ability to earn batteries and pesticides at the sime time or even at the same amount of time with Ron Perlman by giving him a new 8 hour task to earn the batteries now which means not only do I have to do two different tasks I also have to do 8 hours instead of 4 to get batteries, meanies. 😛

I believe it had to do with the glitch. The batteries were over writing the pesticides causing MANY players to not be able to get the Pesticides. Batteries still drop from all over the place too. 😉

I just noticed this with BC as well. No more 4 hour battery earning task, just an 8 hour one now. Hopefully they also changed the drop rates since it now takes twice as long…

It has been hitting everyone’s games over the last hour. Some have to tap on Peter to initiate it, others just hopping in n out of the game triggered it. 😉

Well that answered my post i did a little while ago i think that was a cool thing for everyone to get it really shows they listen and care about the players and on a side note they have read and answered all my in game emails i sent them which shows they do read our comments and troubles we have i mean they cant make everyone happy all the time but i really believe theyre trying go do right by us asuch as possible and thats cool

Yes this was very decent of them abd it will be useful later. I hope the blam generating characters and buildings will generate money after the event but as a relative newcomer I dont know how previous event buildings and characters changed after the events ended.
