Well…Comic-Con is OFFICIALLY over! And now that things are starting to settle back down in our Tiny Quahogs it’s time for everyone’s favorite part of any event….the POLL!!!
We want to know what YOU think about all the event as a whole. Consider this the ULTIMATE Comic-Con Event Poll:

Yes. However, TinyCo decided to drop not 1, not 2, not 3 but FOUR updates on us over the last 5 days. Every day I have the results planned to post they hit us with an update and the post gets sidetracked (I think you guys want details on new stuff before I post these results, am i right?)
They will be up in the morning…unless TinyCo decides to hit us with another update between now and tomorrow morning…

Anyone else loose the 2nd lot of comic con characters the ones you had to buy with clams? I’ve contacted them via help bit no luck getting answers from them.

I hated the minion Stewie concept, but loved everything else bout it. I’m not sure what the issue was, but it seems like the blobulous bike but it seems like it disappeared before it could be earned. I couldn’t start the Stripper Bonnie questline until after the event because I needed to finish up the Rollocop line with Joe. I have most of the required items by now.

Currently collecting “blue glass” for prison Meg. I can’t BELIEVE that Bryan Cranston hasn’t been given a task which drops this – especially when he was so expensive. Really enjoyed the event but all premium characters should come with more ongoing drop tasks a a reward for paying/incentive to purchase. It’s sad that they never get involved in anything again after their initial questlines.

It was a really good event. To bad I was on vacation without WiFi for 10 days but I still got nearly everything without buying any clams. Only didn’t get the bus and the mutant costume.

Really enjoyed the event. Gave it a ten. I was able to get enough blam to get everything I wanted. The only thing I really wanted and didn’t get was the Clamterprise. If they bring it back for clams though I would definitely get it. I suggested more land to put all the cool stuff we won on, and free clams for Alissa and Bunny for for putting so much into the game for us and for basically being free customer support. In hindsight I wish I had suggested more deco’s and road/sidewalk squares.

Am I the only one who has tucked most of my canon Quahog into storage in order to display my even stuff? I swear I should start calling my town the Kingdom of the Full Comic Con. Don’t get me wrong, I love all this awesome stuff, but we’re gonna need more room the place it.

I gave a great reponse to the poll earlier because this event was awesome but I just unlocked stripper bonnie and no questline. I was already dissapointed my rollocop questline dissappeared and now no stripper bonnie questline. I had all my characters free and I was searching for that (!) Above someones head but nothing… sad face.

They should do a james woods mansion mystery event where they could give us all the old characters that died in that episode like mrs goldman and diane simmons.

Good event. Main problem with jt was the contant crashes especially when bombing. Too much running around the town the phones couldn’t handle it.

On the FGQFS Twitter page, it’s says that in the next update will be a selling feature, which will be great, and it says that the next event will be a Halloween one! This will be awesome, especially because it’s my bday on Halloween!

One of the best events for a mobile game I’ve ever played. Stated in my comment in the poll but wanted to share. Said similar thing about Kingdom of the Full Moon event. Clam boxes for random prizes is a garbage idea, the Blam boxes were an excellent idea.

I forgot it on my comments but I gotta second the opinion that I hate the clam mystery boxes. I would have paid outright for the clamterprise or the two statutes from the butt event that I never got, but I hate throwing good money away not knowing if I’ll ever get the item I want. If they want to put special things in a clam box I’d rather something like Rupert where there are X items and each thing you win is eliminated. That way I know worse case I have to get X boxes.

Off topic sorry but inregards to the achivments how do we get the run out of friends to visit 20 times achievement I’ve visited all my friends and got the “no more friends ask some to join” message well over 20 times any help is appreciated and I’m sure this has been covered before I just can’t find it but if there’s a link that would be much appreciated thank you

This event was awesome and thank u Alissa and Bunny for looking out for us. This was a lot better then the pyramid event and Tinyco is awesome for listening and fixing most of the problems for us. I just have a couple suggestion that I think should be added or fix in the game.
1. I think everything in this game is over price compare to other games. I would gladly buy them if the prices weren’t so crazy. If u don’t intend to lower the price than at least give out more clams like everytime u level up or visit other town or completing quests. By doing that at least I wouldn’t feel like everything is expensive cuz u guys r giving a lot of clams away.
2. Get that character finder button out already cuz finding these characters is a chore.
3. Please come out with more stuff to decorate the town with (no more useless office buildings) like different types of fence, bushes, cars u can actually put on the roads, etc..and the town needs to be bigger cuz I have so much coins and buildings I don’t know what to do with them. Thanks for listening.

No..oddly only allows to check which characters did you unlock and the next two and nothing again until the 1 to 10 rating. If noone else has issues I will chalk it up to misding a device update lol

10/10 would play through again.
The oooooonly thing I was disappointed in was the timeframe for Blobulous’ bike. Especially since it came right after harpoons were introduced and the conversion from pesticides wasn’t all that great.
Hence, I missed out on the Fabu-jet.
Ah, well. It was a really fun event. Suffering a bit of withdrawal at the moment tho,

My comments were that I enjoyed the event but didn’t enjoy the amount of bad feeling the so-called “Exclusive” time/characters created on all sides. Regardless of which platform each individual player uses all that this creates is EXCLUSION from a part of the game and negative feelings towards TinyCo. Android users annoyed at an extra week for iOS users, iOS users annoyed at not getting RolloCop and Kindle users left out on all fronts, everyone’s narked at something rather than enjoying it. Does this really outweigh whatever benefits TinyCo got from doing it that way in the first place?

I missed out on this entire event .. My game decided it wasn’t going to load & if it did the it crashed right away. Bummer… Thought about maybe playing the game again but I’m not pleased about Missing an entire event

Best event they’ve had so far!! Loved it. The only problem I had was that Robo-Stewie was too much 180 clams for each try was just too much I did it twice n that’s it. Other than that I can’t wait until the next event arrives!

Only problem is they give you coins. Which I have $1.3 million of. Oh well. At least I can clear out all the gardens and skateparks out of my inventory

Hi on day one I bought 4 Sommelier Station. So they would drop 1000 Blam every 8 hours. I did the same thing for the King Butt Event. Now that the event is over the Sommelier Station drops $10 every 8 hours witch is $40 😦 The large Butt deals drops $75 each witch is $300 every 8 hours 🙂
Both coast 700 clams each…….. HELP!!!!!!! 2800 clams for $40 every 8 hours 😦

Really not much I can help with on that if that’s the payout. Best suggestion is to contact TinyCo about it and suggest they change the payout…

Slightly off topic within the topic:
Since the task was too long for Quagmire during the event I didn’t complete Patrick’s quest to “have Quagmire host a sleepover” (24 hr). I tried to do it since but the task is no longer available. I’m now stuck with that in the queue. ??

I thought it was a great event despite the fact that Rollocop was unavailable to me since I’m on iOS, that set aside I think TinyCo really did a great job and I’m looking forward to whatever lies ahead!

I have one further question. The q hotel is meant to spawn needs after the event has finished. As yet, over 24 hours after the event has finished, I am yet to see a nerd from this building. Has the building changed? Or should we be expecting a nerd once a week or once a month or something like that?

very sad my daughter was not able to do comic-com she lost her game weeks ago with the bugs they had and she emailed tinyco all the time but they never got back to her very sad but that a large company for ya

So I don’t know if this is a problem in my game or a global issue, but I noticed that Felicia’s freeze tag task is gone. This both deprives her of an 8 hour task and a really great outdoors task.
With the freeze ray from dr horrible, Nathan bringing out the captain hammer shirt when doing laundry, captain hammered, and George Takei’s mention, I really expected a NPH cameo at least.

My comment was this: I wish there was a way to purchase buildings that were originally intended to help you collect items after they become obsolete for a reduced price. There were lots of buildings that just looked really great (the donut place, used book shop, comic book shop, etc.) and that I would have loved to get just for the looks of them. But after I already unlocked the characters without the help of these buildings, spending 100 or 150 clams on something that is essentially just a decoration was too much, so I had to let them go. Maybe offer a discount for buildings that were helpful for unlocking AFTER you have unlocked the character already? That applies to stuff in the regular game as well.

These were the comments I gave (sorry for the long post :P) –
Pros of the Comic-Con Event:
1.) I very much enjoyed this event more than the Kingdom event. Hope we’ll be getting to see a new long event like the comic con event for the Halloween period.
2.) I liked the aspect of the timed side-challenges every week of the event. It added more playability of having to check my mobile every so many hours to see if I’d reached the certain requirements before the time is up.
3.) I liked the concept of bombing the minion stewies running around the city. It added new, fresh gameplay elements to the game.
4.) Keep the event as long as this event as it gives freemium players a greater chance in unlocking most of the prizes.
5.) The constant mutation of Stewie changing his form and unlocking a new celebrity per week gave it an “air of fresh gameplay” that one could look forward to every friday of the event.
6.) The 2 blam mystery boxes were priced right and the prizes they contained were very rewarding to win.
Cons of the Comic-Con Event:
1.) I was very, very disappointed that the Quahog Convention Center wasn’t available to buy or win as a prize and place it along the Q hotel and the Clamterpise. I was hoping it would become available until the very last few hours of the event. Now that the event is over, I really wish you’d make it available to purchase using coins or clams so that we can add it in our city.
2.) The robo-stewie mystery box was priced way too high using clams. I had no intention in buying thousands and thousands of clams to get a chance in winning all the prizes from the robo-stewie mystery box. I’d preferred if it’d cost less like the robo-brian mystery box.
3.) The last few days before the event ended seemed rather dull in comparison to the flow of how the event went on during its weeks – especially publishing page 7 of the comic a few hours before it ended. I was expecting something more of an epic closure quest to an awesome event.
4.) I was also expecting to winning/unlocking some sort of prize(s) in the form of decos, buildings and/or costumes when completing all the quests of the fabulous four and the celebrity quests. There was no incentive in completing all these quests before the event ended if there was no goal like winning/unlocking something. An idea that came to mind for completing all fabulous four quests was rewarding the player with the convention center, whilst completing the various celebrity quests would be unlocking them a costume – for example, completing all stan lee’s quests would reward him a spider-man costume, completing all ron perlman’s quests would reward him a hellboy costume, etc. As you can see like that it gives the player more an incentive in completing all quests before end of event.
5.) I didn’t like the fact that most of the buildings were purchasable using only clams. I would’ve prefered if there were more buildings purchasable using blams and less using clams since there was written from day one that blam was the only currency usable during the event.
6.) I was hoping for a third blam mystery box on the last days of the event since in the second blam mystery box there were only captain hammered and red hot’s columns. I was expecting a third blam mystery box to have the blobulous and multiplier columns along with other prizes to win.
Other Suggestions:
1.) For every level the player goes up, award clams.
2.) Keep track of where each character is in your map by having a Character Finder tool in the form of a new box that appears in the upper left-hand-corner of the game play window that will display the icon for a character that is currently set with no tasks at hand.
3.) Have all characters contribute to dropping an item or items, especially premium characters which have been paid for with real money.

Great observations pointing out both pros and cons. I believe they used what worked from the full moon event and tried out a few new things to mostly successful results. I’m sure one of the biggest cons in most people’s eyes was the last second Stripper Bonnie..but I disagree..I honestly think she was both a premium/freemium item depending on how long you have been playing this game..Giving a person that logged many hours tapping at this game a very good chance of getting the skin for free (being they would of already unlocked all of the characters and costumes for the items)..think a person that had been playing awhile before the event would be premium..but on the cheaper like 100 clam side and the rookies (not going to call anyone who has put in time a noob)..well if they wanted her they would be on the more expensive side of premium for her.
Also I agree with that feeling of disappointment that the convention center wasnt a gift by finishing this event..but like to believe its because they are going to use it again for the next comic con event.
Also agree with you about something should be given by leveling up..but disagree with clams.. have played Simpsons for a looong time and never care about the 1 or 2 donuts you get…being that the decent items start at 160 donuts I would at least have to be level 80 to get something I want with the free donuts (max right now is level 44). I know others have suggested shorter times to do their quests and I am against that too (when I go to bed if my longest mussion was 4 hours that would bite). So my 2 cents is every ten levels you get a free character skin or building..I know that would make me want to level up faster (if I wasn’t maxed already lol). Would never turn down a clam but items exclusive to the time you put in would rock

Overall I thought the event was great. It was a little difficult getting the final blam mystery box exclusives and stewie costume despite playing religiously every 2-4 hours from android launch with large blam truck (although I lost 3 days due to being in hospital).
I think in the next event I would like to see major sale of all clam items when they are no longer any use such as blam producing items and item drop buildings at the end of the event maybe a bundle price for every item not purchased, I would have loved the blam station as decoration only. Also don’t like premium mystery boxes having consumables in, they should be exclusive items only. I would have bought more clams in these cases. My final complaint is the change of pesticides to harpoons. I’d built a nice store of each and the replacement was random.
Overall though it still gets a 10 from me it was amazing and I loved every minute of it. Thanks Tinyco for a great event and to everyone at FGaddicts for your help and news on updates.
