After a long wait the update has finally hit our games!
TinyCo’s giving us a chance to make summer last a little longer with the Kool-Aid Man! OOOOOHHHH YAAAAAHHH!!!
There’s also another chance to unlock Cleveland with this update…..
More details below the fold…
Unlock the Kool-Aid Man! You have 4 days (slightly more) to collect STUFF (ingredients) to unlock the Kool-Aid Man in your Tiny Quahog! Make sure Peter is free as he kicks this off with his Vinyl Pants. Lol.
UPDATE BUNNY 9-26: Per TinyCo, questlines for this will go when it ends. So up to you on what you want to complete, just know anything left will end at 3PM PDT regardless where you are on it.
You’ll see that a large Boom Box has dropped in your town after you start the Endless Summer quests (During Part 1 that triggers Kool Aid). Just like the Jack O Lantern and Animal Crate…this can drop ANYWHERE in your town. By waters edge. By edge of land. Behind buildings. Behind decorations. ANYWHERE. So seek it out. It is not really small in size, but small enough to hide. 3×4 Plot. Once located, you CAN tap on it and move it like any other item.
The boom box is where you’ll see the collection guide/manager for Kool-Aid Man:
As you can see…here’s what’s needed to unlock him:
10 Cherries (Always)- Get from Clearing Kool-Aid Man from your Quahog (he’ll pop up every 7hrs. Tap on him to earn Cherries)
8 Ice Cubes (Always)- Get From Good Times Pier OR From Kool-Air Beach Volleyball Court
25 Pitchers (Rare)- Get From Make Peter Dance the Shipoopi OR Make Jerome Play Ball OR Make Bruce Kitten Pickin’ OR Make Lois Buy Groceries OR Make Chris Fat Kid Hula Hoop
Note: I know A LOT of you are worried about collecting 25 pitchers in time…however it’s not so bad. Jerome’s task to do this is 1hr (and Chris has a 4hr task), focus on those two…send the others (if free) but don’t stress to much about them. Focus on Jerome for the most part. I just did a little test with it and sped him up 7 times and got 5 pitchers. It is completely doable…just have to focus on the right characters. Remember it’s only Friday…you still have more than 4 days to do it. Try it over the weekend and reserve judgement until Monday night 😉
UPDATE BUNNY 9-26: Per TinyCo, the decorations linked to this will go when it ends. So make sure you have purchased what you want in your game by then so you can keep it after it ends.
Endless Summer Decorations:
Endless Summer Banner– $250
Kool-Aid Sk8 Park– $3500
Big Bonfire– $2,000
Good Times Pier– $750. Earns $45,30xp/8hrs. Ice cubes will always drop from this as well.
Jetski Peigeon– 50 Clams
Kool-Aid Beach Volleyball Court– 125 Clams, always drops ice cubes. Earns $45, 30xp/8hrs
Kool-Aid Ferris Wheel– 250 Clams, Earns $70, 45xp/12hrs
Cleveland has also made a return to Quahog…so if you missed out on him during The Full Moon Event now’s your chance to get him. However….it’ll cost you. Cleveland is now a premium character and will set you back 400 Clams! He comes with his house and you’ll see the He’s Bla-ack….Again: Prelude pop up in your game for the option to purchase him.
UPDATE BUNNY 9-26: Per TinyCo, Cleveland is NOT linked to this so we currently do not have an end date for his availability. My opinion on him, all I can say is Halloween is coming up and he may play a main role. So you may want to pick him up if you don’t have him.
We’re awaiting FULL confirmation from TinyCo, but for now assume that ALL Kool-Aid decorations and buildings (along with Kool-Aid man) will disappear on 9/30 at 3pm PDT. If we have any changes to that we’ll update this post. (as far as Cleveland goes, we’re waiting for confirmation on him as well)

question! I get Kool aid spawns every 7 hours but does that mean I tap on him then wait another 7 OR is it every 7 and I can have multiple over time?

I do not see multiple. I asked about them, but not clarified yet. I would suggest to tap him each time you see him to not risk loss of items.

I can’t get in my game now coz when cool aid does his task to audition at the school it locks you out of the game coz of empty id James wood high and will not go past loading

Apart from tiny co website and uninstalling nothing I can do it it won’t let me in it just says Config empty for id jameswoodsHighGeneric in BuildingAction when loading but never gets past loading screen

Email them since you can’t get in your game. It is really all I can suggest if troubleshooting failed and no trending reports. I will monitor to see if anyone else runs into it.

I had Cleveland tattoo meg pbj Brian rollerskate Peter & alot of others my iphone4 broke & I couldn’t get my old game back so j had to start over is there anyway I can re link my game??? Plez help

If you did not save it to an email or Facebook I do not know if it can be recovered. The best thing to do is contact TinyCo and see what they can do, if anything, to help out. 😉

Just an FYI for those who can’t find the boom box I had the same issue and tiny co said it’s in the area you tapped to start the event. Where the hammer talk bubble was.

Okay so I’ve spent about $100 “real” clams on this game. The fact that I now have a task to spend 200 clams on the hot air balloon to get what 5 cherries? That does it for me, this is a money grab. A fool and his money is soon parted and I’m done being a fool. To think that something like TLOU on PS 4 costs way less really has to make you think….
I’m sure this comment will never get posted, just need to vent. I’ll send the same message in game just to ensure TinyCo knows how I feel. It’s not the money that bothers me, I have that. It’s just not a good ROI. Was fun for a while.

Sorry it ruined the fun for you. You don’t have to buy everything. Just an offer for those that don’t like to wait and get it for free. Many premiums prefer to speed through and don’t mind paying, so they cater to premiums too.

To test this,…..Adam West is almost within reach, can you really stop playing the game before he appears, he’s so, so close and Halloween is going to be the greatest event ever. You will regret missing it all….. 😋

Secondly, have you heard of Halloween candy errors since Kool-Aid man dropped? I haven’t received candy since yesterday afternoon. Just curious. I’m way ahead of the deadline, so I’m OK at the moment.

My test games all got sweet treats and a jiggly red pitcher man. Oh yaaahh! 😉
Will keep an eye out. In meantime try some basic troubleshooting. Also keep in mind candy can drop at anytime in a 24hr period. So restart device, check back, collect rent, look again.

I never had a boom box, just kool-aid man on my one squagre of road. Tapping him yielded me cherries, and now my tap the boom box has a check beside it. Finished the rest and it gave me part two and the Kool-Aid man is already checked too. No harm and not game breaking but ? weird. Everything else is going just fine built the pier and Chris is losing at a carnival game. Just thought I’d mention it.

Im not happy I didnt know of the update so left my game all day, so I have just 3 days 15 hours for 9 remaining cherries. I have the rest needed already but the fact I can’t buy cherries with clams or get them from buildings is frustrating. 9 x 7 hours = 63 hours or 3 days 15 hours so unless I go on every 7 hours day or night I will miss it. I cannot miss this, I just cant. 😦

I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with the good times pier. Mine hasn’t dropped any Ice cubes at all yet. I don’t want to bug TinyCo if they’re already working on it.

Mine is dropping them. Please try basic troubleshooting and if still issue, let them know. I’ll watch in meantime for a trend.

hi long time reader i enjoy reading people comments. I would like to know how to buy clams so can get my favorite family guy character Cleveland I know he is 400 clams I dont mine spending money on clams. I really like FGQFS and I love this site it helps out alot and told all my friends about it.

In your game, there is a plus sign next to the clam count. Tap it and it will take you to the clams packs. Tap on one you’d like and follow instructions.

I can’t tell YOU how to use it. You have to follow the steps in YOUR game as everyone’s varies on their own personal settings and app market being used. Just get to the point you tap on clam pack you want. You will see the amount and if you tap on it, most will give you payment options and steps. You just need to follow what your on screen display tells you and what options it gives you. It could be add a CC, Gift Card, charge to phone, etc

Try some basic troubleshooting. See if that triggers it. Also, are you to at least District 4?

Did you complete all of Part 1 in the endless summer questline? If so, and you still can’t locate it…try some basic troubleshooting

I have now tried everything listed in trouble shooting, have nothing on my land except houses, am in district 7 level, and still no boom box. I did the first two parts of the quest where the third says to tap boom box. Also when I look in features, it no longer is even showing up! Please help me! What else can I do?

If TinyCo is reading this, they need to release more land!!! They keep releasing all of these cool decorations and buildings but there is nowhere to put anything!! I literally have to remove all of my roads to squeeze buildings together and now I can’t even find the boom box because everything is such a mess it’s probably hiding behind something. The only thing lacking in this game compared to TSTO is in TSTO there is plenty of land to decorate and make everything look nice. TinyCo needs to step up on releasing more land for us to put all of the cool buildings!

Has anyone had Cleveland do a task at his home to drop ice?
I stored his home in inventory since it isn’t used for tasks. While browsing, I noticed it was tagged as always dropping ice. When it’s placed in town, it doesn’t show that it drops anything and Cleveland doesn’t have any ice dropping tasks.
It’s probably a minor error, but I’m hoping Cleveland will help. Start pulling your weight, Cleveland! Until then, no more mustache massages for you!

It was an image glitch. It is not intended to drop them. It is corrected now but may take a bit to reflect in your game.

Been following the site for a while but here’s my first post. Was wondering if the timed quest line for the Kool Aid character had any purpose other than earning coins and xp. Shoutout to the blog runners this place is fantastic I was pretty thrilled when I first found it

Main quest or the side one? The side one I do not know yet as not enough Cherries to unlock him so dont know how it will end til they all drop.
As for main questline, most just earn coin n xp but also kinda show you what items characters drop by making them go on those tasks during quests.

Yet another one with a crazy timeline, why did not Tiny state search for the boom box, only found out about it because if your great site, had no idea how to collect the items. 25 pitchers,some a long timeline, give me a break, some of us cannot play every hour in the chance they will appear as we go to work, and after sending Chris on a 16 hour task, spending clams yet again for a vollyball decoration? Have 1 pitcher up to now. Forgetting this task as Tiny are getting greedy with the heavily laden tasks which need clam brought items to complete, and not even good clam items for the town, and a massive ammount of time to stand a slim chance, and not even decent clam items.

Sorry you feel that way. Not all things all the time fit everyone. To make that possible is…well…impossible. It was only just released, but if you do not wish to participate…you really don’t have to. I am finding the collection fun and working out just fine myself. Not a clam spent at all.
As for the Boombox, the very first task was to tap it. The pop up hovers right over it so no need to look for it unless you did not grab it and move it the first time. If you want to know how to collect items, it is also all there. You just go to the Kool Aid items screen (by tapping the boombox) and tap on the italic i next to each item. There is a list of who earns what and how on each item. This is same for any character material and item in the game. 😉

Bunny would you consider an add so I can visit this town and see your layout? this was the town I was talking to you about in another post. The one where you don’t spend clams. Im sure you don’t want millions of adds or creepy stalker style ppl so email me if you like. I’ll also understand if you don’t want to.

Boo, on the way TinyCo made Cleveland return through paying 400 Clams for him! That’s like George Lucas re-releasing the unremastered original trilogy of Star Wars on non-anamorphic video. Its something players demand, but TinyCo only gives a shoddy version to stop players bothering TinyCo about it.
I don’t have 400 Clams and won’t have it anytime soon. I was expecting Cleveland to return to be easier where you just buy his house and unlock him. How was he originally released?

During the Kingdom event and a lot of people, myself included, worked the entire event to unlock him and still didn’t get him unlocked. It was not easy. Hence why I think they set the higher price point. For those that spent the Clams to unlock him the first go round and/or time put in during the event. I want to say it was around 1100 Clams to get him outright then. I would need to go back and look at the SS it took to verify.

My sidebar timer says quest ends in 3days 22 hours which would be 3pm eastern https://db.tt/CWywu1U9 but KoolAid dude graphic is as pictured above (3pm Pacific) East coast player, wondering if it’s simply the sidebar being incorrectly coded or if the game ends at 3pm local time (or if the timer is moving too quickly in some strange glitch) or is my math- time zone thoughts messed up? )

If possible, will you be posting a walkthrough of the Endless Summer quests? Really wanna know if it’s gonna be worth it to tie up Chris with that first 16 hour task instead of having him find pitchers lol. Like is there a little clam prize at the end like some other quests have or is it just cash and experience? And thanks for all the help and your hard work! 🙂

So happy with this update!! I now have Cleveland, something that had been really bugging me for a while, and which has definetly been asked for many times on this site.
Kool aid man is well on his way, I did speed up a few of Chris’s and peter’s drops and Adam west is on his way Tuesday. For a tiny moment after comic con I was approaching annoyed and boom district 9 and everything that has followed.
Can’t wait for Halloween event now!!

Because they pulled him to work on him. He wasn’t ready to be in the game and wasn’t “set” just yet. Only a place holder image. Much like the other characters still locked. Just there to hold a spot til the final decisions n tweaks made. Patience. He will return. 😉

Did you try force closing and restarting the game? Also…did you check to make sure it accepted the new location? It may have gone back to where it was prior.

I think I hit a glitch got three cherries already and it hasn’t been 21 hours. Not going to complain just hope it keeps happening.

The initial koolaid man appearance appears to have triggered at midnight EST although the update didn’t hit until 2 a.m. That means they appeared at 7 a.m. & 2 p.m & should be back at 9 p.m.; Saturday 4 a.m., 11 a.m., 6 p.m.; Sunday 1 a.m., 8 a.m. & 3 p.m. Should finish the set then if you don’t miss any.

The Kool-aid man pops up seven hours from the last time you tap him not at a specific time. I feel like I need to set an alarm on my phone to keep up with all this.

I bought a 50 clam package and rushed Jerome’s task 25 times to test the drop rate and got 20 pitchers. Pretty good odds.

Yay! Kool! Do you know if he’ll have a voice though? I didn’t expect Rupert to have one, but I’m still disappointed that Vinnie is the first normally voiced character who’s mute in the game. I also think they gave him a tough deal, he may have been quite shady but he was still rather likeable, while in his storyline here they painted a rather nasty character. Let’s take the placards to TinyCo! Vi-nnie! Vi-nnie! Vi-nnie! 🙂

Legalities of getting permission to use voices is always a tricky thing. So some items go without sadly. We don’t know if Kool will be voiced til he is unlocked in the game and live. We will let you know then. 🙂

Any word on whether the ’80s Cleveland costume will return as well? I have Cleveland but just missed on the 80s costume… those leather jackets were hard to come by, especially after the time it took to rescue Cleveland from the quicksand!

i think they may have him on a set every 7 hours not 7 hours from when you tap him. Because last night i was playing before midnight & tapped him, then saw him immediately pop up again. the clock had changed to the next day. got 2 cherries in less than a minute!

I’ve done the 1 hour quest with Jerome 7 times each on my main and backup games and not had 1 pitcher drop on either game. The only 1 have on either game is from the 8 hour quest with peter.

Woke up at 3 and checked on who was the new character (central time) and tapped my first kool aid man. then when I got up at 7 (4 hours later) I put everyone on their quests..and got my second kool aid man. Wondering if this was a glitch or if it is on their seven hour clock opposed to having to wait seven hours after I tap him

I’m having a problem. Those pitchers don’t seem to drop for me. Not a single one dropped. Jerome hasn’t been useful at all.

Keep trying. Start fresh if you want and force close then restart your device. They won’t drop all the time.

Jerome has not dropped a SINGLE pitcher for me! He’s been doing it for at Least 7 tries!!! Since there are two Jerome play ball acts i think there might be a glitch or sth. On the same time i got a mustache cream and one of those antena thingies.

Can you guys weigh in on whether or not Cleveland is worth it? Does he actually do anything? Drop needed items? Anything? Anyone? Lol. I have clams to cover it but I passed over the two Peter outfits to save them for extravaganza TinyCo is sure to throw at us during the Halloween event. Thoughts? And go!

First off let me say that Bunny and Alissa have done an amazing job on this site and I look at it daily.
Second all I love the kool-aid man. Although it does seem tough to hit and people obviously like to complain most of us will end up getting him. Just enjoy the game and play it.They want to you stay involved and play it to keep you interested.

Why can’t I post? Does anyone know how long Kool-Aid Man appears on screen? I know he appears every 7 hours, but for how long?
