Update 11:00pm EDT: Looks like Kool-Aid Man is back in the game! You now have 24hrs to finish collecting him. This MORE than makes up for the time glitch many were experiencing. Good Luck!
Update 2:40pm EDT: Per TinyCo: “There was a bug that caused him to end at local time, rather than PDT. We’re looking into bringing him back for 24 hours, so players can finish him.”
They’re working on it…for now if you’ve experienced this glitch and haven’t yet reported it…send in an in-game ticket so they know exactly who is impacted.
Oh and Kool-Aid Man is now Voiced!!!!

Busting in with a quick glitch report that MANY of you are reporting on…the Kool-Aid Man’s Quest is GONE! 
According to many of you the ability to unlock Kool-Aid Man has disappeared from your game.
Not Kool. Not Kool AT ALL!
So here’s the deal…Yes, Kool-Aid Man was supposed to end today (9/30). BUT he was supposed to end at 3pm PDT, which is in (just under) 9hrs from now. However, it seems there’s been a timer glitch in many games causing him to disappear at 3pm local time NOT PDT. So if this is the case for you…report it to TinyCo. (info on contacting them here)
Bunny and I have also reported this to TinyCo (we reported this last night…as soon as our New Zealand friends started reporting the quest ending), so as soon as we hear something back on it we’ll let you know. In the meantime, it’s important that if you’re experiencing this glitch to report it to TinyCo as well. They need to see the reports coming from multiple places and not just us. So make sure you send in the support ticket….

Does that 24hours to try and get kool aid man begin when I open the game and hit the boom box? Because after disappearing I’ve just found the boom box and the quest line has reappeared and in the side quest bar it now says I’ve got 23hrs 59mins to get kool aid man. So does that mean it doesn’t end at 3PM PDT but 24 hours from right now in my tme zone?

You have 24hrs from when it started….your own personal clock. And it starts when you reopen your game…(since you see the timer on the sidebar now)

Kool-aid man disappeared around 3pm est for me. The quest showed up but I couldn’t do anything so I sent all my characters on long quests because I thought it was over. Now I see we were given 24 hours.

I just thought I’d log into the game one last time before bed, and after a minute of tapping *poof* the Boom Box has now reappeared and started a 24 hour timer. I can once again gather the items I need, which is basically just one more jug.
Unfortunately, once I figured I’d missed the event, Chris had nothing to do (no items to gather) so I sent him on a 24hr task. He now has 15 hours until he finishes it, there’s 24 hours on the event, and for some reason the game has forgotten that he ALREADY applied for the job at Buddy Cianci so I need to do that again. Does this questline continue after the end of the event (so long as Kool-Aid Man is unlocked) or does will it cut off in 24 hours?

Questline wise…for me it stayed even after the event was supposed to end, so I think it may stay. Still not 100% sure though…

Actually it looks like it starts the 24 hour timer from when you load up the game, so I kinda wish I’d waited until AFTER I’d been to bed – now I have to waste some of my precious 24 hours with stupid stupid sleep. Oh well, I should still have plenty of time to get that one item from Jerome. It’s impossible to do the whole questline within 24 hours, so either it continues or it doesn’t. I’m assuming this won’t affect whether I get to keep Kool-Aid Man once I have created him, so I don’t mind so much either way.

I was just given the the quest ‘Kool-aide pt. 1’ 6 hours after the ‘Endless Summer’ was supposed to end. It requires me to collect Kool-aide man, but I no longer have the boombox required to do so. However, I do still have the ‘Endless Summer pt.5’ quest available and all of the merchandise associated with the quest; the volleyball court, hot air balloon, pier, etc.

My Koolaid guy is back with a new 24 hour timer.
All the items I had collected are still there, but I have to redo the Chris quest in part 1.

So…. I’m seeing a timer now on the koolaid quest, but still no luck with collecting his items. Boombox isn’t in my inventory either. Is this fixed for anyone yet? Scared to put some any of my characters with the pitcher task to work.

The event still ran out at 3pm. So doing anything now won’t matter. We will update further when they find resolution on what happened.

I’m not sure I understand. The event ran out earlier than it was supposed to. I was working on my last item, which I would’ve obtained before time was supposed to run out. So shouldn’t I be given another opportunity to complete the task?

*sigh*… I’m always an item or 2 short by the time it ends…
wonder if there’s a way to request the drop rate being slightly more likely the closer to the end of an event.

Yeah, glad I got him yesterday, i rushed the last pitcher just to be done with it. I contacted them about the issue and trusted they would fix it, but apparently it wasn’t high on their list of priorities…

I’ve been trying to place the boom box from my inventory for the past 4 days after completing the other two quests that went with it and every time I click it, the game says sorry family guy is now closing, and then closes my app. Also, cool aid man never came back into my game since the first day he started.

If you completed the collection BEFORE It ended, check your inventory for a boombox and place it in your Quahog.

I completed everything but when I would tap on the “Go” button it would disappear. Never got him. Told Tiny Co and hope it will be fixed. I completed it early this morning so I’m hoping I get him.

Yes ma’am. Did all of the trouble shooting steps that you suggest for these situations. I even put my phone in a circle of salt and splashed chicken blood on it. Probably shouldn’t have listened to the scary guy in the dark robes who suggested that step but I was desperate. Now I have no Cool-aid man and I think I lost my soul.

Just still trying to get him, Kool aide part one. I had completed “Chris gets a job” and had it checked, then when I clicked “get Kool aide man” the box would close with nothing. NOW it does prompt to the quest choices, I.e. I need 3 more water pitchers,but my “Chris gets a job” is no longer done. I must complete it again.

My Kool Aid has disappeared and I am also still not able to receive coins when visiting some neighbours and after this happens the game then throws me out which is now getting highly annoying as it’s been like this for weeks now…. Please please can u help to resolve this issue ASAP.

I’ve also been getting the problem with Ollieland not dropping anything sometimes, then kicking me out of the game a few seconds after returning to my Quahog. It doesn’t happen every time, but 8 times out of 10, and has been going on for weeks. I didn’t think anybody else was having this problem, since you’re the only other person I’ve seen mention it.

As this post highlights, there was a glitch with the event ending early. It may be what you saw happen. Hang in there as you can also see, they will bring him back again.

This was at 10 am. I got a Consuella (spelled that wrong ) Error message. The game crashed and I never got him. I got a quest line that says get kool aid man and it does nothing when I tap it.

What is the job description for rock out when you tap on it supposed to be? Mine says being bros…. wrong job description glitch I guess. Also, a fun little factoid, If you drag a character to a building and swap costumes, you can make it look like the wrong costume is doing the job. Doesn’t change much, but I’m still amused by it.

lol I should had checked here before rushing. Not that it cost that much, probably spent less than 30 clams total to make up for time I missed, but I think it would had been close.
I didn’t have any issues with the timer though I’m on the West Coast so always on TC’s time.. actually according to Google Maps a 9 min walk away from work 🙂
Glad he is voiced though. That was my biggest issue with spending my clams. Even if he only says one thing, it’s great though. Doesn’t he say “Oh Noooo!” at least once on the show?

Afraid this is pretty poor on tinyco’s part. There were widespread reports of initial timers being short (mine by 17 hours) and it was obvious even then the initial timer was set to 3pm local. People reported this in game and on this fabulous website to them last week, myself included. They removed the countdown but clearly didn’t fix the end time.

Well, as of right now (5:11 Eastern Time) i reloaded the app and the endless summer pop up was there with Kool-Aid Man smiling at me. But after the splash screen closed i tapped on Jerome to get him to Play ball to pick up the last couple pitchers i needed and the action doesnt list the pitcher as a drop. I tapped on the Good Times Pier which was ready to collect and no cubes. So i was fooled. Still waiting…

Well this is more a legit complaint. The timer ended early for everyone (unless you’re on the West Coast of the US), so when things like that happen it’s a legit complaint. I get getting annoyed if people are saying they want more time AFTER the event is over…but in this case it ended significantly early for many players…

It ended for me 16 hours earlier. All i had left was 1 ice which i tapped my pier yesterday and nothing came out. Ive complained and got a response. An automated response. Tinyco are worse than ea and just care about their sales. At least ea throw a few donuts for the inconvenience.

Hey I just noticed that Kool-Aid Guy isn’t counted in the character total in your town. You know, the Facespace button that says X/X people in your Quahog. I also noticed that George Takei has disappeared from the Facespace menu too. (I didn’t complete his collection, only him) has TinyCo mentioned anything about this?

Eastern time here, it disappeared at 3pm EDT, which from previous events I worked out to be 6pm when it says 3pm PDT, I had 1 more jug and I timed it around peter, chris and jerome finishing I hope the 24 hour extension applies to the EDT zone too.

I didn’t get the glitch, I think because I unlocked him yesterday. But I wasn’t going to be able to finish the quest line in time, part four is in progress, so yay I might be able to finish now.

I’m at the quest wild west mayor 4, when I try to collect cologne bottles it does count up at the building itself but not at the quest. I have 2/5, 3/6, 5/6 bottles. The uest still says: 0/4

You have to create each bottle to get the quest to not say 0/4. After you collect each amount (5, 6, 6) you create 1 cologne bottle. Then it’ll say 1/4. Then you have to repeat the process 3 more times to complete the quest…

Just thought I’d note that kool-aid man has become voiced this morning. I don’t know if the unvoiced version was a glitch or if someone quickly ripped some samples from the show, but either way I’m happy.

I was fortunate to get KAG before all this happened, one thing I did notice this morning was that he now has a voice…sorry, not to add any more frustration, however hopefully they’ll get it fixed so more can hear his new voice.

Not related to the glitch, But my Kool Aid Man has started saying “Oh Yeah!” When I tap on him. Hopefully everyone else’s does too!
And I hope they figure out the glitch so everyone can have him. I know I would feel extremely cheated if a glitch caused me to miss out on any timed character.
