Hello There Clammers!
Here at Family Guy Addicts our goal is to provide a resource to feed your Family Guy addiction for all things TQFS. Bunny and I try our best everyday to provide you with the most recent and up-to-date info about TQFS, as well as countless tips and tricks for making your gaming experience better! We do it because we love it…and we love having fun with all of you!
However, lately Bunny and I have noticed the general tone of the comments has changed. Changed from fun to not so fun….
In case you haven’t already noticed, we like to keep the atmosphere here positive and the discussion open. We strive to have this place be an outlet where everyone can be respectful to one another. We know not everything is perfect. Nothing in the world ever will be. But as a community we can work together to make it the best it can possibly be. Laughter is always welcome.
So with that in mind, and with the Halloween Event looming on the horizon, Bunny and I decided to sit down and write up the Guidelines that we follow on our blog and ask our AMAZING Community of readers to follow as well….

Here’s a quick rundown:
–Be Kind to Others- Remember…we’re a community. All here for the same reasons
-See the Bigger Picture- In this game there is ALWAYS a bigger picture than what you may be seeing. Keep an open mind for other points of view
-Keep it PG (or PG-13)- You guys should all know this by now. If it’s not on the show it shouldn’t be on this site.
-No Abuse- No attacks, trolling, vulgarities, racism, or other remarks that will incite hate, flame wars, or abuse towards any readers or any member of the Addicts Team.
-Show Respect- Respect each other and the members of the Addicts Team.
-Remember..Words Don’t Show Emotions- Remember it’s hard to tell emotions from reading words on a screen.
-No Hack Talk- Absolutely NO talks about hacking or soliciting hacking.
-Spoiler Free Zone- If TinyCo doesn’t tease it, or we can’t confirm it we don’t post it.
-Stick to the Point- Remember what the topic of the post you’re commenting on is…and try to keep comments relevant to that post.
-Be Patient- Remember we’re real people too. We have real lives and real jobs. So sometimes we may take a little longer to answer your comment or question. It doesn’t mean we’re ignoring you.

Family Guy Addicts 
You know how the creators of the game have their own family guy city and how theirs is organized and has all the special decos and have the roads all nice and neat? Will they ever do this to the rest of their city where all the black smoke is? I built my city to match theirs so I would like to do the same for the rest of it. Sorry if this got confusing hard to explain what I’m tryna say

I love this website so much. I check it multiple times per day and I never close the tab. It has helped me so much with the game and it has also been very entertaining. But, I just have to say this: do you honestly expect people to keep their language to a PG/PG-13 even though you put “if it’s not on the show, it shouldn’t be on this site”? I’m not arguing this, and I totally get the point of it, but it seems a bit ironic considering the language the show uses, I mean they even hinted towards a certain word beginning with C multiple times, and basically spelled it out too! You know, just pointing that out. But anyways, I love the site so much and I don’t mean to attack or anything, just point out the strangeness in the wording. Thank you Bunny and Alissa! You make my day a lot more enjoyable and make my stalling before I get up and do anything longer too! 🙂
PS: I haven’t picked out which of you should be my favorite yet. Who should it be???

I totally agree, and I’ve mentioned this before on this site and yet many of the words that are used on the show get edited in our posts… Doesn’t make much sense 😦
Maybe certain words get bleeped out in the U.S. for the TV show but they certainly don’t elsewhere, like here in Canada… You are not a U.S. only site, so you can abide by the more liberal international rules. And as for the excuse of getting slapped with a Mature site tag, I’ve yet to see one get that for the occasional bad word… You guys(Bunny et Alissa) go through all the comments anyway, so if you feel it is too harsh then just redact the comment but don’t take out all the words they use in the show if they are being used in a playful way.
By the way, that Meg sure is a whiny little runt, isn’t she?

Well…when YOU open your own blog and go through what we do behind scenes, dealing with MANY companies involved…then maybe you will get it. For now, be respectful of our requests and appreciate the site for what it is. If you have any doubts, go hang out on TinyCo FB page for this app for a few days and see what no moderation can bring. 😉

I found this site by Googling the game name. It has been extremely helpful to me and has helped me keep my head and my money with all the hints and tips. People just got to remember the game is essentually a computer game and computers are machines. The game will get glitches, break down and make errors. I was not happy about the Endless Summer glitch when I had just one item to get. I got on this blog and did what was suggested and kept checking for the update. The other thing is Tiny Co. is a business. Businesses are meant to make money by offering a product that people buy. Expect to pay for some things in this game. You cannot offer a computer game for absolutely free and make it as a company. Keyboard jockeys need to let it be just a game that we love to play and have a little fun with. There is enough stress in the real world to not bring it to our Quahog world.

What?? You don’t work for Tiny Co.?!?! Lol, sure fooled me. I have never been on the Facebook page(thank God)….and never will. Confession: I Google Family Guy TQFS and you were the first site to pop up and I’ve relied on you ever since I found this site. I truly love this site and the atmosphere you create and I never have a complain. With everyone else disgruntled,there’s no need for me to be. I didn’t engage in the discussions as much. I did the exact same. And this place has become my lifeline ever since. I know I’ve seen the negativity you guys are talking about, but man if you do ever check out the fb page its much worse!! All in all this is a game and it is all meant for fun. 💯👌👍😊✌

To be honest, if we did not moderate like we do…this place could easily turn into what FB is. EASILY. It is amazing to me what “keyboard jockeys” think it is okay to say when not face to face with someone.

here is my thought…..
the addicts team are doing a fantastic job and their hard work is very much appreciated. it is sad that in life there are those who spoil the fun for those people who are just there to enjoy.

Hmm. I’m a self-confessed miserable git, and I do find myself venting my frustrations with TC in the comments here, mostly because if I started ranting about it in real life nobody would know what I was talking about. I love so much about the game, but so often they do things that wind me up so much… So sometimes my comments are on the negative side, but I generally try to apologise in advance, make it clear that I’m very very positive about this website, and I never will be mean or nasty towards other commenters. ‘Commenters’ has a red squiggle under it. Should it be ‘commentators’?
Anyhow, I don’t really know if you’re referring to long miserable-git moans like mine, or other more terrifying things that never see the light of day because they don’t make it past moderation. This is by far the best info site I have ever seen. You go so far above what is expected or even deserved. You answer everyone and make it feel like a safe community. Being originally from a small town where everyone looked after one another, it is good to have that feeling again in today’s distrustful and selfish world. It is genuinely a breath of fresh air. I know my ADD causes me to ramble and probably ask way too many questions. I am guilty of forgetting about the search button and getting a little passionate when I think someone is disrespecting either of you. It comes from being a big brother to two sisters and being a Texan raised to show respect. If I ever step out of line I hope either of you will chew me out and put me in my place. If that happened a little more often with today’s youth, I think there would be a lot less negativity and disrespect in the online community.
I say it every chance I get and I mean it sincerely, thank you for doing what you do. It makes a difference to a lot of folks. Now, I’m sorry for any past negativity I have shown and will punish myself with a cold beer and a finger shake at the mirror. I will sit down and chuckle at the quips from my characters and reminisce about the episodes they were taken from. Don’t try and stop me. I deserve it. Maybe that’ll teach me.

I hadn’t really noticed it but maybe that’s because I’ve seen so much negativity elsewhere. You guys are like a buffer for us and that is pretty awesome. This is the only site I actually try to read all the comments. I can’t imagine how the two of you manage to squeeze everything you do into a day. Anyway I try to read the posts and comments every day. It never fails to cheer me up. Plus I get to slip in a Bunny flirt now and then.

Just wanted to say thanks for the amount of work you girls put into this site. I visit multiple times a day, and have noticed a trend toward the negative. Comment sections are inherently tough to manage. You both do a great job, and I hope your rules push is successful. Here’s to many more shared events and clams in our future.

I really like this site. And man, oh man, that fb page is too much. Soooo much anger there…I just want to smack all those complainers and tell them if they’re so unhappy then stop playing the game. I love FG:TQFS, it is my favorite game.

The girls have real lives where people are probably nice to them. It does make me sad to come here and many people complain about the game as if the girls work for tiny co. I come here mainly for answers and amusement. I don’t want them to stop the site. Most answers can be found by spending some time looking around. If we all remember how busy everyone is, and what a resource this site is, and not to take it for granted so we don’t loose it, that would be ideal. I think the guidelines make sense, and truly appreciate this free resource!

I love this post. It’s sad that it has to all be said, but I am happy you guys posted it. I mentioned it in my what the hell post about all the negative comments lately (and some of them I totally understand with glitches and what not). I felt as if I could almost feel the frustration coming from you two (which,if I wrote/ran a site I would never be able to hold my composure. Again kudos!!), but it was starting to turn me off. I left another site (for TSTO) because the comments were starting to be more rude and the ‘main’ person was so incredibily rude to every person that would comment (even when, IMO he had zero reason to be) and it wasnt enjoyable anymore. Although, it ended up working out because that’s how I found you guys :). You guys do a beyond amazing job, and I know I wouldn’t be anywhere in this game without you two, or my fellow addicts because some of you have great tips and advice. Thanks to all 🙂

I for one love this site and I never make anyone feel bad I come here as my go to site for how to get best from the game i will report a glitch even if it’s only me experiencing it or just to read the latest comments and update info same goes for tsto site I love all ppl who help make this site a success just hope it keeps friendly and a welcome site just a shame a live in uk because I would hug everyone

I like the guidelines. Maybe my husband will come back to the site once I tell him. He had someone make a hateful comment and he noped away from the site and said he wouldn’t be back. Since he quit coming I have to get my info straight from the source instead of him. We’ll see.

That’s too bad that happened. We know when people are upset, tension gets high. We try to control it as best we can and squash it. Any reader is always welcome to email us if they feel they have been wronged in some way and it went unnoticed or unresolved. I hope it was just a misunderstanding in the heat of the moment.

It was a comment he made about a building being one price and it changed and someone replying, “you’ve never made a mistake before?” He wasn’t complaining, he was disappointed that he didn’t get them. He doesn’t like to fuss or argue, so he just kept quiet and moved on. I’ll let him know of your new rules when he gets home from work

I hadn’t realized that it was getting this bad – I assume you filter out the worst of the comments? Or, as a non-native speaker, I might not get all the nuances… Anyhow, as it’s mostly people with problems looking for help, I can see that that might make them anxious, probably reflecting in their comments. Only very few people put in comments when everything’s peachy. Well, I have no problem with the game at the moment, so I am doing a little happy dance for you and hope the upcoming event is not going to prove to taxing for you. Keep up the good work 🙂

We know the anger and frustration will come. That is a given. We will help all we can. It just seems that more recently a lot of abuse of both readers and the Addicts is flaring up, so we are putting out the fire before it can spread. It is ok to vent and ask for help, just want to send it to the proper channels so we can focus where things are needed. That and I honestly wonder if anyone knows we have the cool search options on the site. Lol. 😉

Lol yes the Prima Donna.. #11 hey I realize that tinyco is answering probably a thousand people right now…but I spend a lot of money and should be helped first (ie I bought and received things I wanted). It is very appreciated you two take the time to moderate every comment. ..my god have you ever read the comments on their fb page? Completely also agree if someone is experiencing issues..the “Hate this” or “this sucks” comments help no-one. .at all. Suggestions or creating ways to make things better might not help you in the current situation but may help everyone in a future situation (getting off my high horse now..I’m Texan its cool lol)

Lol. I tried going there when they first launched it to help answer questions. On my own…no one asked me to do it. Within a day it was flooded with trolls and obscenities. It is harder to control as there isn’t moderation in place like here. So all are instant comments and no way to track who said what and what questions asked. We will do all in our power to never allow our site to get that way. EVER! 😉

I just went to the FB page. THREE F-BOMBS in the first comment I read. I use flavorful language myself, but I do watch where and when I use it. Reading the FB comments made even me say “What The Hell?!”

The amount of awesome that is passed around here is so helpful….but there will always be negative people which is sad and being that these same people will think they are the exception to common decency guidelines let me predict the top negative comments now that we will see after the event kicks off #1 we have to do “blank” I know its three minutes into the event but its impossible. .why does tinyco hate us? #2 I know we were given 5 free items but why should I pay for the 2 premium items..why does tinyco hate us? #3 I just sent all my characters on 24 hour missions and they decided to start the event…why does tinyco hate us? #4 Tinyco never gives clams..why does tinyco hate us? #5 To finish this event I will have to play more than once a day…some of us dont have that kind of time!! #6 I know Alissa and Bunny work for tinyco…why do you hate us? #7 I posted on your page 30 secondsago and haven’t gotten a response wth? #8 blank or blank is only being done because its a money grab!! #9 there is too much going on..I am done with this game #10

More funnies, I am liking this much more! Yes, especially #1 and #2. Bunny and Alissa make this site so entertaining, and bring another fun aspect to the game for me, but some of the replies were getting tedious and mean.
It’s regrettable that you ladies have gotten such blankity-blank-blank, please count me among your many happy readers who appreciate all you do. This is the first place I come to get my FGQFS news, since I heartily dislike the out-of-control TinyCo’s FB page.

I agree that almost everything in life can be crazy or chaotic. That’s why we have rules & guidelines to try to bring order to the chaos. I feel bad that in what is supposed to be a fun website for all us fellow addicts, sometimes Bunny & Alissa have to put their feet down (or in Bunny’s case, her paws) to put people in check about behaving properly. Both of you do so much here, and neither of you need the extra burden of babysitting. Bless both of you for all you do.

The fact that Alissa and Bunny have to take time out of there day to come up with guidelines for fun is troubling. The 2 of them bust their humps daily to give us the most information and help they can. We should be treating them and their site with respect. Hopefully this is where this issue stops

Spot on. You guys are great and have really increased my enjoyment of the game. That’s what it’s all about, isn’t it – having fun! I showed your teaser pic of Death to my son this morning and his laugh stayed with me all day. Please enjoy that image, a 9 year old boy laughing out loud before playing TQFS with his dad. You might want to take out the part about ‘if it’s not on the show it shouldn’t be on this site.’ Considering Stewie just said ‘Hey Moe, your sister’s being raped,’ i’m not sure that kind of topic would be the kind of stuff you’d like to have on here. It sort of gives the greenlight to quoting the show’s most vulgar and obscene moments.

Well done yet again Alissa. I love what you and Bunny have done with this site, and this latest post is spot on – this is all meant to be fun! We should all imagine ourselves as an unknown reader when we write stuff online, and get our kicks from making that person’s day better. I showed your teaser pic of Death to my son this morning and his laugh stayed with me all day. Can’t wait for Halloween… 😀

Gals, the fact you even have to post this message is a bad indictment of SOME of the people who come here. This is a game and it is fun. I stopped reading the comment section a long time ago due to the tone and message that was being posted there. Come on people, don’t force Bunny and Alissa to change the direction or close down this site. Be cooperative, be respectful and mostly have fun. That’s why the good folks at TinyCo continue to add to our game with new events, quests and characters — so we can have fun with it. Keep up the great work gals. Your site is a daily must-read for me.

I have a problem with the last one. I don’t recall any of us readers giving either of you permission to have “lives” or “jobs”, seems like you didn’t read your contracts close enough! I personally expect a response to any comment I leave within 5 minutes! If not, I’ll… well, there’s not really anything I can do. Drats 🙂
