Well, we’ve all made it through another “work week” (kinda, sorta, almost) and the weekend looms large up ahead. All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game (Are we done with these darn kids running around town yet?!) and we wanted to give you (and us) a fun new way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest.

Here’s my What the Hell?! For this week:
– Witch’s Cauldron crashes. Every time my husband tries to brew Duck Stewie his game crashes…it’s like the never ending loop with no Duck in sight! What the hell?!
-And…that’s all I’ve got for the game this week…honestly no real complaints about the game this week. What the hell?! 😉
-And finally…The World Series. What the hell?! If I hear one more word about Bumgarner I’m gonna smack someone in the face. Yes, the Giants won the World Series…but they did it because of 1 pitcher. And you know what? I hope his arm falls off next year! Bochy has a history of destroying great pitchers arms by making them pitch too much in the post season (Lincecum anyone? What about Cain? Where has he been?)…BLAH. Rant over. Sad thing is…I’m not even a Royals fan…

I seem to have run into a game glitch. I had an issue connecting, with some weird error I had never seen before, so I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling. Upon reinstallation I still cant log in, and now I get a message that says ‘Engine Config Error’. Hopefully this is fixed soon so I can get back in, thankfully I am not on a time crunch to get Freddy as I had not dug him up yet.

Thanks, I got it to load my save file again, but then I hit that PlayArea error. Have sent an email to TinyCo along with my info, hopefully they can get it fixed. I just bought Mr. Weed and was saving up the 3k to dig up/get Freddy and the ECTO1. Love Ghostbusters, even have the ECTO1 LEGO set :D!

WTH?!? My game has never crashed once in the months I have been playing, now all of a sudden I can barley scroll around without it lagging and crashing out… I have to literally tap one thing at a time, wait for it to collect and then do my next action… There is not anywhere near enough room to use items we get, and what is the point in trying to get it all if we can’t use it all? Both space wise and crashing wise… That beîng said I love the game, and that is all.

What the hell ever since the beginning of the Halloween event I have either won created or bought about a million decorations and buildings and now my WHOLE town is just upside, face… Anybody else running outta room on the quest for more stuff!!!

My only WTH is when can we get a “Stop Action” button for our residents of Quahog. I hate when you send someone on a task and then 2 minutes later you need them for a quest. Happy Halloween to all. 😉

My What The Hey (as in good thing) is that Consuela just got dropped from 300 clams to 180, making it an instant-buy for me. Given she was a priority for a while, and I was hesitant on getting the Halloween guys, it was a good buy.
My What The Hell goes to the fact that I need to collect about 19,000 vials to get the remaining brew stuff and mystery box items. It should be ok to do before the event ends, but it’s quite a climb. The event ends November 7th, right?

I used to collect everything, but now there is no desire on my part to obtain new buildings or decorations anymore. There is no room to put them, and we are told to store them in inventory to keep the game from crashing.

Dia de los muertes! Freaking awesome! Got all the prizes from Rupert (Ruperto?). Bought Consuela for the discounted 180 clams and got her Dia de los Muertes costume! Love having Slimer as a deco! Sweet! Love this event!

*sighs* Anyone else suffer a truly annoying glitch when tapping that spins the viewpoint away from what you were tapping?
I have enjoyed this update…mostly…but gave up the ecto-1 when Tiny messed up on the ratios for the stink bombs. I have no opportunity to play during the working day, and had no chance initially of hitting the target. By the time they reacted, it was too late
I have no problem with some things being premium only, or people choosing to spend real money to speed through the game, but do get frustrated when timed tasks can only be completed by people who can play regularly throughout the day! Grrrr!

Help! I have never been prompted to fire a Chocolate Rocket to kill Stay Puft, I presently have 93 Chocolate Rockets. I tried to email Tiny Co and their website just keeps timing.

Try a hard close and restart the game. See if that helps clear out the issue..

Me too! Until a few minutes ago when I finally needed to use 30 chocolate rockets, I had about 120 of them. In the meantime, the game keeps “randomly” requiring fire rockets. Right now I have 12 of them, and once again the game “randomly” requires fire rockets for the next roast. It feels like every day I struggle to get enough fire rockets to keep my streak going (and, yes, I’m careful to select tasks where there is a chance of a fire rocket). It seems pretty evident that when a player has close to 100 chocolate rockets, 65 graham rockets, and only 12 fire rockets. . .there might be a small problem with the so-called “randomization.”

Count me in on this as well. I have over 155 of them and no matter what it keeps recycling between the other two. That’s not random at all and most likely too late in the event to even warrant a conversation with TinyCo. who will most likely just parrot it IS random and working exactly as advertised (yeah, right)!

On the whole I love the halloween event, so no complaints there. But my long-reaching WTH is “rare” or higher items. I hate those with a firey passion, especially when they’re on 12h tasks for a 3d event or something demands you get 15 of them. (I’m looking at you, Kool-Aid Man.)

WTH?!?! TinyCo i have a big blimp just sitting in the ocean waiting for someone to collect plutonium but you cant since there is no quest tinyCo please finish off district 9 before having any more events and try something new for once in the next event not the same thing with comicon but with different items!!!!!

My WTH started out as an annoyance but now it’s comical. Whenever I zap a latcher building my town glitches and moves some of the buildings. One house was upside down in the middle of the street, and the Griffin’s house had their car parked/crashed in the house. The glitch also gave me Dagger Mouth Cave but unfortunately I couldn’t keep it. Other glitches have moved or merged buildings. I guess since I’ve been glitch free until now, this is my Halloween trick from Tinyco! Happy Halloween fellow addicts!

Not so much a WTH but more of a what I want. I would really like to have human Rupert voiced. Doesn’t have to be long or a lot of variety. After all, King Butt mostly just says “hey.” Also, it would be nice to have a two week break before the next event.
I hate Halloween but this event has been fun.

I sure hope they never implement the bombing feature in future event. I personally will avoid it no matter what I don’t get next event. As a matter of fact if they don’t fix the land issue (not being enough to support the stuff we earn/pay for), why acquire stuff that has no purpose other than sitting in your inventory. I feel like I’m playing “The quest for a place to put stuff.”

Candy corn … What the hell?!?!? Does anyone actually like the stuff anyway? Maybe that’s why the kids in the game drop the stuff when I hit them with stink bombs. I now have 900+ jars. What the hell?!?!
& Ohio sports. The Reds weren’t even close to the series. The Browns & Bungles are perennial losers. & even LeBron’s triumphant return to the Buckeye State is skidmarked by the Knicks (Boo New York!) What the hell Ohio!?!?!

I reàd about the Quest for Stuff Halloween event online and started on Oct 7th. I’ve been playing nonstop since then taking my ipad everywhere I go and finding hotspots all over so I can keep doing tasks. I am almost ready to open the district with Brian. I thought I was going to be able to complete all the haloween costumes but I just found out to get pink Brian their was a candy collecting thing that began when the Halloween event first started and I missed it, I do not have Stewie or Connie open yet but I can get their costumes but not Brian’s. WTH?

My WTH for the week…land. My town was a mess for a long time since I destroyed it during the comic con event. I got bored earlier this week and decided to test out this land theory/issue. With all the new Halloween stuff and buildings I have no room for anything else. And we have more events coming up. Not only that I have a whole bunch of items to craft prizes but no room for the items that I want the most.
Also, just a little disappointed at how easy it was to unlock Freddy. Can’t wait for the trick or treaters to disappear they remind me of little ants running around my game screen. But all in all I’m pretty happ with this event.
And finally while I may not particularly like Halloween I do have little ones and it is so cute to see them dressed up and trick or treating. I am sad this year because I had to have open heart surgery about six months ago and recovery has been hard therefore I am unable to walk those many blocks and hours with the kids missing out on picture taking and anything that this mommy would call picture cute worthy. Oh well there’s always next year.

I hope TinyCo reads these ! Not sure of changes in the game besides the zoom feature, I kinda like that , but game freezes a lot lately. Plz fix. Other than the game is fun but it is getting rather busy with all the amount of stuff gathering.

Um wth I thought the kid robot peter was supposed to drop hours ago and give us more land if your going to relase 20 buildings and decos you need to add space to accommodate this or guess what people will get mad and stop playing/spending money cuz let’s face it who’s gonna spend $10 for a building to put it in storage

My WTH is my game reset to a new game two days before the next level. I log in with Facebook and it’s not even showing my saved level to reinstate. Still waiting on a response from TinyCo. I’m hoping they can help soon (or at all) so I don’t miss the last part of the Halloween event! I’m so frustrated right now. 😦
I know they’re probably very busy. It just really sucks!

Jack Daniels has a new Cinnamon version, Tennessee Fire, that has been out for over 6 months in several test markets but of course not in my home state. I was fortunate to visit Nashville this summer and got to try it. It’s really good, in fact better than Fireball, but I can’t get it here. Winter is coming soon and a bottle to toast my insides would be awesome on those cold winter days. WTH J.D. can you please send some to Washington State!!

This isn’t a WTH yet. I love Halloween, it’s my favorite holiday, it should be on money, stamps and a three day weekend. Last year I just bought my house and no one knew me so I didn’t get a single trick or treater. I also bought about ten pounds of candy so I was bringing it to work for awhile. This year I am hopeful, I know most of my neighbors, and a lot of the people around town, I am even running for political office so that should get me an egg or two, maybe some TP in the tree. Anyway I have another ten pounds of candy again, and again it’s all the good stuff snickers, milky way, skittles, smarties, etc. so I am warming up just in case 11pm rolls around and I see no one again I will already have this posted. Also remember on Tuesday vote Doug West for mayor.

You know those gag conversations between two characters when a quest objective starts or ends? I miss a lot of them due to rapid tapping. When you’re tapping a bunch of dollar-signs and checkmarks and suddenly the screen changes, you may tap it again before you notice. It also happens if the game hangs for a second. Now I’ll never see what Peter said after I unlocked Freddy Krueger.
Can we have a way to go back and view these gags?
At the very least, can they add a “next” button to the gag screen? If you have to tap a small area to advance the screen, instead of being able to tap anywhere, you’re less likely to “next” by accident.

So I have a question about the people of Quahog. For me, it says that I have 31/33 people. Who are the 33 that they count. For some reason, every time I attempt to count all of them, it never adds up to 33. Do you guys by any chance happen to know?

Please ask your friends at TinyCo not to start any Christmas-themed events until after Thanksgiving. It’s bad enough seeing decorations in the stores before Halloween is over; if the game starts dropping Christmas trees or rocket-powered sleighs soon, I may just put the game away for the next month or so.

My WTH is with Freddy & Mr. Weed giving us the silent treatment. I know there are legal issues, but its still a WTH. And I have hundreds of the marshmallow goop things, yet not much of anything to brew with them. I’ve noticed the resolution on some buildings have switched to low-res that were high-res before, Vinny’s house is an example. WTH? The taffy store & orange stand were fixed to be in high-res, now they’re both low-res again. WTH?

considering all the actors they got for comic con, i am surprised they didnt get Robert Englund to voice Freddy. the guy LOVES this sorta stuff, i bet he would have been all over it!! though i guess maybe WB has a say since they own the franchise and maybe they prevented it.

Wth, where the hell is freddy…everything is brewed streams have been crossed, but freddy just vanished. His quest is still there, timer is still counting down…but no way to tick off the boxes to unlock him…apparently the game thinks he’s hiding in the woods outside of town….arg…I need him out there earning spirit vials…..also I fell off the back of a moving truck while unloading a stage…ouch my back still hurts!

I have a similar thing going on with mine just I completed the Mausolem and he never showed up as a character on either of my devices so I can’t defeat him or unlock him.

This happened to me with a few characters during Comic Con. Force Closing the app and restarting my device then relaunching the game seemed to help. This time after I did that, I found him on the sidewalk in my town with the bubbles over his head.

I even reinstalled…I can hear him, but the game seems to think he is out in the woods outside of town…hes not, that’s just where go to takes you…still no response from tco after over a day.

Why does the catapult bomb always show the wrong number of bombs remaining? What the heck. How can this take so long to fix?

What I’ve noticed is that the tappable square bomb icon in the bottom right does not get updated with the correct number, when bombs are dropped or when bombs get used. However, the actual slingshot “sights” always show the correct bomb count. Since it’s so easy to find out how many bombs one truly has, I guess it’s a low priority bug.

Bumgarner essentially won three games for the Giants in the World Series. When a team only needs to win four and one pitcher can pitch in three games and give up only one run, well, that’s amazing. He won the Giants the series and pitched the best post season in decades. Possibly the best ever. You’ve got to appreciate that if like baseball.
Most great pitchers never win a World Series in there careers. I’m sure bumgarner is aware of what overworking does to his arm but he would still be okay with trading that for a another World Series ring.
Also, his next start is five months away. I’m sure he will rest that arm up until then.

Nope. For some reason..I love pitchers but I hate THOSE kind of pitchers. For this reason I despise Cliff Lee, Clayton Kershaw, Curt Schilling, and Bumgarner. (oh and Verlander)
And usually those kind of pitchers destroy their arms (except schilling…I’m just a Yankee fan and for that reason alone I can’t stand the guy (as a competitor) and his stupid bloody sock. Although I have a TON of respect for the work he does for ALS). That’s when I sit back and say…see I told you so. Which I did with Verlander all year and Cliff Lee.
And you say Bumgarner has 5 months…but mark my words. He won’t pitch into his 30s. I like the kinda pitchers that can have successful careers even into their late 30s and 40s when their “stuff” is diminished…but their still successful. (ie Mike Mussina)

But those pitchers are exciting and interesting to watch. Mussina was great and consistent but never a Cy Young award winner unlike everyone on your list minus Schilling and Madbum. Mussina was consistent but I would take almost any of the above in my World Series team then a steady eddie veteran. Also, Shilling went way into his 30’s and I think he was closer to 40 when he pitched in the 2004 WS. I think the best pitchers that were explosive early and great late were Randy Johnson and current Sabathia.

Did I miss something or did we just forget about the blimp storyline? As soon as Halloween hit it just seems that it ended without getting the stolen plutonium back or even time traveling. Did I not complete a storyline or did that get put on hold til after Halloween?

Nothing to complain about in-game. Only bad thing this week: a flu virus that doesn’t want to go away. Upside: nothing else to do than check my game(s) every 2 hours to stay ahead of the curve 😉
