Hello There Clammers!
As I’m moderating the comments from earlier today (sorry we’re a little late on them today, hectic day) I’m seeing a bunch of you report crashing issues in your game since yesterday’s update.
First, know that you are not alone. There are lots of reports of this happening. Second, I know many of you can’t report this to TinyCo because your game keeps crashing. So…we’ve contacted them and they’re working on trying to determine what’s causing it. However, they need your help.
IF you’re experiencing crashing issues in your game please answer the following in the comments below:
1. What OS are you using? (Apple, Android, Amazon)
2. What device are you currently on? (iPhone, Galaxy S5, Kindle etc)
3. When did the crashing start? (for example after updating to 1.7.5)
If you could please provide that information ASAP so they can hopefully work out a solution before the update is supposed to hit later today, that would be great.

Started earlier today, this morning, though it could be since last night, since I don’t use the phone to check the game at night. I used my tablet, a Galaxy Note 10.1 with Android 4.4 last night and in the morning with no issues, but we’ll check again at night when I’m back home and hopefully it will still be free of issues.
In my case, it crashes only in Quahog. If I jump to the ship, I could stay as long as I want, and no crash, but as soon as I’m back in Quahog it crashes, at best, after five seconds and at worst right away.

Nathan Fillion is in Thing Gadgets (completed task) & will cause my game to crash everytime you tap on the completed task tick. I cannot get him out of the building. First time it happened with him was in the Drunken Clam shell. Now it wont resolve. I have tried to remove the building, wont allow, I have moved him in the building to another location, wont resolve,game reset wont resolve.

3. March 27 on 1.7.3. After refund of Clams and removable of Ensign Doom Room game can’t get past load screen on saved game on Google. Was able to load generic saved game for a day to contact help after reinstall to 1.7.4. Haven’t been able to get pass load screen since even with latest update to 1.7.5.

The latest update (which i’m guessing is 1.7.5). It was fine this morning 10am GMT but now I can’t get in as it crashes on the loading screen.

I’m not sure when I was booted, definitely a couple times yesterday.. But the game freezes and boots out every so often since Phase two.

Honestly, I don’t know. I asked TinyCo but didn’t get a response back yet. However, I can tell you I just updated (i’m on a galaxy S4) and have 0 crashing issues.

As a side note mine only seemed to crash each time I tried to clear the complete task for Nathan Fillion. After about 4 or 5 restarts it finally let me clear the task and hasn’t crashed since.

3. Crashing started about 2 months ago when the phone was updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The issue was reported but no fix was ever created. The crashing is intermittent and difficult to predict. It makes playing the game very difficult.

On an Asus tablet, running Android, no issues at all until today’s info pop up mini update thingy. Worked fine, closed fine, now will not start again for love nor clams. Loading bar fills up then ” unfortunately family guy has stopped”

I don’t have a problem with the crashing. Just when I start up the game, it would crash instantly then run normally when I start it up again. So not an issue for me here.

I’m not crashing as of yet but bloody h3ll I haven’t got a blue energy ba in over 48 hours already. I still have yet to send anyone to wai iota. I need 6 balls every time to send a team there. At this rate we will really be in the year when the captains log started before I get energy balls.

If it helps for trouble shooting purposes (I am in IT ) so I know it helps to know when crashes don’t occur as well, I am an iOS 8.2 user on iPhone 5s. Hope that helps tiny co with trouble shooting crashes
