Week 3 is live…time to upgrade the Warp Core to level 3 and unlock the Bridge!
In Week 3 we’ll see Borgs, Locutus, Starfleet Lois, Guinan, Skimpy Sarong Herbert (finally for the right reason), a brand new mystery box and Phaser Battles!

BUNNY REMINDER: As stated whenever you tapped the Warp Core… in order to Upgrade… your STARFLEET XP LEVEL needs to be at 4. 
So… to get to WARP CORE 3

First, and best thing to do is upgrade the Warp Core. Tap on it once you have met the requirements and you can start to see some of the new content.

Borgs
The Borgs will not appear until triggered by “An Endless Battle Part 1” by Peter in Warp Core Level 3. Mine showed up after “Frame of Mind Part 8”
Clearing Borgs will require Troi, Worf or Vulcan Quagmire.
Clearing with Worf or Deanna will take 2hrs. Potentially earn Synthesizer Ore, Duct Tape or Space Groceries (You will need to unlock the Bridge to see the tasks in their task menus)
Still working on spawns, but in my game (Bunny) it seems like 5 appeared every 2hrs with a MAX of 5 allowed at a time. So if you already have 3, only 2 more appear at spawn time.

You’ll find him on the Bridge. As always, unlocking him will require you to collect lots of stuff. Here’s what you’ll need:

Two new planets were introduced with Phase 3. Here’s a quick look at them..

UPDATE BUNNY 4-3 230PM EST: Have already contacted TinyCo in regards to WHO drops the Phaser Energy (even though it says Transporter below) and at what point. Will update when clarification is offered. (Like Chris and Geordi)
Basically you collect Phaser energy to blow stuff up and win more stuff! Once you earn energy you’ll see this screen popup..
Basically shoot stuff to earn more stuff. The more you blow up the better your rewards will be…and don’t forget to blow up the PeterCraft

Falling behind super fast 😦 haven’t unlocked Troi yet, haven’t finished any quests from phase 2 cause they all involved getting Transporter Energy… Which I was using to try and get The Chocolate bars, anyone got tips on how to catch up? I know what happens with Events like these, if you fall behind at all your basically screwed.

I am in the same boat. I play religiously and only have four chocolate. It has now been six days since Peter and Mortar have dropped a single transporter energy. I’ll just have to get what I can and be happy with what I have. This will be my first event where I won’t get all the f reemium characters.

Bought the casket ejector for the xp, and it didn’t look like the Xperia meter even moved…anybody else experiencing this?

The Endless Battle and Borgs have shown up for me on Warp Core 2 and cpt. level 3 1/2ish. I can’t do anything yet as I have no one to make them disappear but hopefully in a day or two I’ll be able to upgrade.

I built the casket ejector 5000 (or whatever) it dropped the 800 starfleet but my bar didn’t move at all, and I would have expected that to get me to level 6 because I am so close. The building dropped starfleet exp does move the bars. I don’t really need the exp, but his seems like a flaw. I reported it to tiny co.

Just posted this to the “Contact Us” option in the game:
I haven’t gotten one single chocolate…because there are only so many characters and rooms that drop transporter energy…and there’s no guarantee that the character or the room will drop one…coupled with the fact that in order to advance in the game, you have to send those characters on other quests that don’t drop items of any kind…never mind the fact that there are twenty some-odd characters in the game that don’t drop a single solitary Star Trek item (including Patrick Stewart and George Takei…actors who were on…oh, what was the name of that show…oh yeah…Star Trek)…and then, when you finally do have transporter energy and send four characters on a mission (yet another feature that takes them away from tasks that drop Star Trek items), and they come back with crystals only (the one thing I don’t need), and you have to start the whole process of collecting transporter energy again…while more characters become to available to unlock, with more items you have to collect from two or three characters that you’re already using to collect items for someone else you’re trying to unlock…and Borgs suddenly pop up and the only way you can get rid of them is using Worf and Deanna, who I can’t unlock because I DON’T HAVE ONE SINGLE CHOCOLATE!!!! I like challenges…I hate IMPOSSIBLE CHALLENGES! TinyCo, listen to your fan base and give us more options…before that same fan base decides none of this is worth it!
Please note: Bunny and Alissa, this is NOT directed at you. I have been using Family Guy Addicts since I found you during the ComicCon event and turn to you two EVERY DAY. Thank you for your invaluable help and dealing with the you-know-whats on here who, for reasons unknown, give you two a hard time. You have my thanks and my sympathies…I could not do what you two do for the rest of us. Now, c’mon, TinyCo….love this game…I wanna keep on loving it.

I wrote something similar a couple of days ago.
Now that the new content was released, I’m still working hard on Deanna Troi (8 chocs missing, currently at 2 Transporter Energy) and due to questlines on hold because of this very target conflicting with Frame of Mind Pt. 3 (requiring 4 Transporter Energy to craft building), none of this week’s content becoming active I’m pretty close to give in and forget about targets of the event.
The design of obtaining and requiring Transporter Energy is seriously flawed in my opinion. Not as bad as the impossible challenge with Telenovela Peter, but close.
I’ve been working on last week’s content with basically no output. This isn’t even remotely what I consider entertaining.

I agree with this. I have sent 3 missions to the chocolate planet, and not received any chocolates (even though ‘likely’).
I’ve given up on this character and move on with the rest of the event.
Come on tiny co Make chocolates easier, or lower the blue thingies required for the chocolate planet. I’m getting one blue crystal per day.

It’s sad to be locked out of the main part of the next phase due to no fault of our own.
This site has been a god send for help and answers so please don’t think our frustrations are being focused towards it. Our anger is directed at TinyCo, but sadly they aren’t listening. I have spent clams on the two new characters but refuse to spend them on items/characters that others are getting clam free.
My two cents yet again. (To bad it isn’t two transporter energy, but that I can not afford to give.)
I have more than enough game time put into this event too be caught up and yet I am feeling very far behind and screwed over by TinyCo’s horrible RNG.

Would I need to finish any quest to move forward or can I simply be at the level plus have enough to unlock the bridge? I am just iffy on it since I am at frame of mind part six plus I have worf, chris, and Tori’s quest to finish.

You can move forward… but to a point. The Questlines still unlock items and info too. So you will only get so far.

Where is the task for Geordie to earn Phaser Energy. The Splash Screen above says he is one of the characters who can make some. However, nowhere on the Enterprise or in Quahog can he do such a thing. Glitch? Later on in game?

How come Klingon Chris and Starfleet Peter are locked when I go to Cesspoolus if I already own these characters? Is that a flaw with the upgrade or am I missing something?

They are but so is Deanna and she’s only “greyed” out. It’s weird because even though I have other characters that are busy they don’t have locks on them. Now if I go to Nom-Nomulus Locutus has a lock and is greyed out but that makes sense since I haven’t unlocked him yet. Same with Starfleet Lois. I think it might be due to the fact that they’re on tasks in Quahog?? I know Chris is but I can’t find Peter either in Quahog or the Enterprise. It’s 2 A.M. So he’s probably sleeping somewhere like I should be…LOL!

Some are odd like that. It’s on my post on the planets. Some show darkened…some locked… regardless it means one of two things, they’re busy or not in game yet. 😉

I bought her… not thrilled to see that the Phaser Energy is an “uncommon” drop task. Can you please add that to her description above, just in case it might save someone else from the 200 clam purchase if they were thinking it would be an “always” (or at least better then “uncommon”) – thank you!!

So what have I learnt so far that people should know. If you are going to send 200 clams on Guinan solely for the purpose of phaser energy drops, buy starfleet academy and the observation deck at 100 clams each for 2 drops every 6 hours over Guinan and her one drop every 12 hours. However, that is not the reason for considering her, then consider away.

Whoopi Goldberg?… ugh… excuse me while I puke. I Rarely pass on a premium character, but no friggin’ way that thing is joining my game, even it was free.
Phaser thing is cool, hopefully the energy to use it isn’t super hard to replenish, but probably will.

Is someone else being created currently in Al’s? If so, he wont show til you tap the check mark on Al’s. Only one Character can be made at a time, so he will go away until you clear the other one.

Can’t seem to build 2 Weapons Lockers. Is there a limit of one on that? Building the 2nd Riker’s Quarters, so that one seems fine. Which, if they are limiting one room type to only one, you’d think they’d just have 1 Riker’s Quarters. Unless he needs multiple rooms for his trysts. I mean, there is no Space Consuela to clean up his bed when he is done, so that may be why he needs two rooms 🙂

Odd. Have one being built and trying to swap a room for the second and it does not even appear as an option in the room list screen. Reset also to see if it would pop up and still not there. Would like to build a second one for sure.

It is because you are building it. It won’t show while in progress in case you have two currently building. Default

The two Riker’s Quarters are building simultaneously, so that’s weird. Just have to wait and see I guess.

Hm. No one’s pointed it out yet, so just in case you didn’t notice… look at that screenshot above, of the window titled “BLOW STUFF UP IN PHASER BATTLES”. It refers to “Transporter Energy” being needed for the phaser battles.
I’ve verified it’s still there in-game. Maybe someone at TC should fix it? :-{)}

One more thing, does anyone know the timeline for Guinan to drop phaser energry? I mean if I’m going to spend 200 clams on her, shouldn’t I consider how long it takes. I’m probably going to buy her anyway because who doesn’t love Whoopi Goldberg? Just for it being her and getting the Guinan character to boot does make it hard to resist since resistance is futile…

She needs to be to Level 2 (which took me no time at all to Level her up). Then the 12hr task to “Fire Her Gun” will unlock to help with Phaser Energy

No hitches with upgrading my warp core to level 3.
Did the newer Mystery Box and had MUCH better luck than I did with the first one.
The Phaser battles are fun, I try to wait til the Peterprise has one or more asteroids on it to fire to get a little extra per phaser energy use.
Building the two freemium rooms right now though the premium ones are tempting.
I have a feeling that Locutus and Starfleet Lois will be a bit easier to unlock now that things are seeming to stabilize. Judging from the transporter’s fixes (accurate odds increases for each character) this shouldn’t be as tough as week 2. Chocolate-wise, I had managed to get the last batch I needed when I send Geordi, Worf and I think Chris to Wai Iota.
The two previous chocolate batches I sent Geordi ALONE and I don’t know if I was lucky but I had gotten the chocolates twice in a row, your mileage may vary.
Did you guys notice that the transporter crystals cost has gone down in general for the planets? Except Chris’ planet and Oh’Nosz, the rest are something like 2-4 crystals per trip.
I wish everyone better luck than they’ve been experiencing, I’ve been letting the “let downs” not get to me, even with the real life money I’ve put into clams, I just try to time my tasks a little better (and use my Fuzzball room to reset the Crew’s Quarters I have setup).

Well, I know it’s super early into the event but to me, phase 3 has a different feel from phase 2. I would like to think that Tinyco felt the undercurrents of dislike their players were expressing and have programmed this phase to be more attainable for character unlocks and majority completion by the launch of phase 4.
I feel like there is a certain level of challenge that has been presented to us this week without the impression of complete impossibility.
Thanks for the amazing write up so far B&A. As always, you two are there to help keep us doing our best and knowing as much as we can in the game.

I don’t get it …. Tiny co. You make the Borgs wonder te ship how. However you need “impossible” troi, word or Vulcan quagmire to clear them. But Vulcan quagmire is not available until the next warp core upgrade in 7 days. So why make the Borgs wonder the ship now.

I’m such an idiot. I swear the game said DON’T hit the Petercopter to earn stuff so I was busy maneuvering the phaser to hit the asteroids and not the ship. Wasted all the phaser energy I had. Oh well guess I will pay more attention next time.

Hopefully drop rates get better for the phaser battles, that’s the only small thing that could possibly b an issue

Maybe I missed it, but I haven’t seen anyone give the advice to keep re-building and changing the new rooms, rather than wait for them to time through. It means getting drops every 10 minutes instead of every 2 hours. (Note, I haven’t upgraded yet, so maybe this is patched in the upgrade)

It is up to you. Even with 10 hrs, players are still doing it.

What I mean is:
Build three rooms (only 3): two Riker’s Quarters and one Weapons Locker.
They take 10 minutes to build and always yield drops upon build.
Then trade those rooms for two Weapons Lockers and one Riker’s Quarters.
Wait 10 minutes and repeat to stock up on Phaser Crystals and Duct Tape.

They are only 10m builds for the first build then they change to 8h and 10h

They lasted as 10 minute re-builds for a while for me, but yeah, they eventually switched to 8h builds later for me also. Bummer.

I did not have the 10 mins building time so I will have to wait for 8 hours to complete building one room.
I like the introduction of phase 3 as it looks more reasonable than phase 2.
I just hope more fremium characters could drop phaser energy beside Troi now.

I can’t upgrade my warp core. I have started getting xp for level 4. But the warp core says when I click on it that I’m at level two and that I need level 4 completed but also says the requirement is level 3. If I need level 4 completed then it skipped level 3.

So in the lower right corner of your game, your Starfleet XP shows you as being on Level 4? If so, try restarting your device and try to tap Warp Core again.

I thought I should already be in the next warp core. First week being in warp core 1. Second week being in warp core 2. Third week being in warp core 4? What happened to warp core 3? I’m not even close to warp core 4! And I’ve only got 4 candy bars! I’ve been playing this game for about a year and this is the first time I’ve had to go on here to complain. For the most part tho I’ve been very happy with this game. Thanks!

I know you mean Starfleet XP Level and not War Core. Just to let you know this is common. Past events you needed to go up 2 levels in XP to move on to next Event Phase. Nothing different.

My best combo was Chris and Geordi. I don’t have Worf. I got Chocolates finally 3 out of 4 trips.

Use Geordi and Klingon Chris *only*. Worf, too, if you have him. Anyone else raises the possibility of stuff other than Chocolate being selected. All three raise Chocolate a lot, and the other two a little. With all three, Chocolate is all the way to the top, with Dilithium following and Synthesizer energy bringing up the rear, but with just Geordi and Chris, Chocolate is still most likely. I used all three characters three times and got the 4x Chocolate each time. I can’t guarantee you’ll be as lucky, but that is your best bet.

What characters are you sending out on chocolate missions? Did you downloaded the update when they fixed the transporter? The meter now is more accurate. Only send characters that make the meter shoot all the way up for best results. For me, that has been Geordi, Chris and Worf.

As shown in the phaser description pic, Geordi has a task that can earn phaser energy. I see no action for him that does this. Will this come at a later point in time? TIA!!

I have been on XP level 3 for 2 days, still can’t unlock the bridge or any level 3 stuff. Am I missing something?

You answered your own question. You need to be on Starfleet Level 4, not 3

It says above that you need to be level 3.
“First, and best thing to do is upgrade the Warp Core. Head over there and tap on it, as long as you’ve reached Level 3.”
Either it was supposed to say level 4, or it was referring to the warp core and very poorly worded. I think it’s the former though
