Week 3 is live…time to upgrade the Warp Core to level 3 and unlock the Bridge!
In Week 3 we’ll see Borgs, Locutus, Starfleet Lois, Guinan, Skimpy Sarong Herbert (finally for the right reason), a brand new mystery box and Phaser Battles!

BUNNY REMINDER: As stated whenever you tapped the Warp Core… in order to Upgrade… your STARFLEET XP LEVEL needs to be at 4. 
So… to get to WARP CORE 3

First, and best thing to do is upgrade the Warp Core. Tap on it once you have met the requirements and you can start to see some of the new content.

Borgs
The Borgs will not appear until triggered by “An Endless Battle Part 1” by Peter in Warp Core Level 3. Mine showed up after “Frame of Mind Part 8”
Clearing Borgs will require Troi, Worf or Vulcan Quagmire.
Clearing with Worf or Deanna will take 2hrs. Potentially earn Synthesizer Ore, Duct Tape or Space Groceries (You will need to unlock the Bridge to see the tasks in their task menus)
Still working on spawns, but in my game (Bunny) it seems like 5 appeared every 2hrs with a MAX of 5 allowed at a time. So if you already have 3, only 2 more appear at spawn time.

UPDATE BUNNY 4-3 230PM EST: Have already contacted TinyCo in regards to WHO drops the Phaser Energy (even though it says Transporter below) and at what point. Will update when clarification is offered. (Like Chris and Geordi)
Basically you collect Phaser energy to blow stuff up and win more stuff! Once you earn energy you’ll see this screen popup..
Basically shoot stuff to earn more stuff. The more you blow up the better your rewards will be…and don’t forget to blow up the PeterCraft

I am not one to complain, but, there are a lot of issues with this event that I can complain about. The one that’s really grinding my gears is the 35 rare laser pointers. Only one character action!! There is a second way, but that requires getting phaser energy first and then getting a bulls-eye playing asteroids. And that bulls-eye might give you an item for Lois instead. And, as a rare item, you may get only one a day. Not enough days left for that. Rant over for now. I’ll get the rest of the issues off my chest in the next WTD.

FYI… I am up to 14 from Phaser Battles. It helps to get more that one at a time in your target. Especially if one is Petercraft.

Thanx, but, isn’t it only the Petercraft that gives the payout? Plus, as a freemium player, I’ve only garnered 4 phaser energies to this point. 4 shots in the phaser battle, 4 hits on Petercraft, 1 laser pointer.
And, BTW, thanx once again for all that you ladies do. I would have stopped playing long ago, if not for your dedication and help.

How do you upgrade your warp core levels

There are requirements to do so. Once you hit those requirements… a check mark will appear over the Warp Core Drive and you just tap it to Upgrade.

hmmm dont drink and aim? 😛 just teasin but in my case i just place the aiming thingy where the shIp WILL be…and as soon as it comes into positions and the thingy turns red i hit the fire button. never missed yet.

When you collect energy now it shows how far along you are to collecting several locked things, including Kirk! This is likely unintentional, but it’s pretty neat to see roughly where you are on the energy count for all of these things.

Yeah – Kirk is going to be insane. If you collect some transporter energy it shows it is needed for him. With 10 in the bank and collecting one more the bar was barely visible! Same with the yellow cubes (which if you look at the requirements for the next few areas you need tons of that just to unlock the areas)

the transporter energy is driving me crazy. I haven’t had any drop in 2 days with 2 rec rooms and Peter and mort on those tasks at all times. also what’s up with the 10 min room build time changing?

Hi Bunny, I only recently started playing and don’t have Stewie yet. Will this be a problem on the next stage of the event? Will I need Stewie to get the Star Trek Stewie character?

There seems to be a problem with blowing up asteroids, there is a mission to blow up 10, I’ve reached 7/10, and now it won’t update no matter how many i blow up, advice?

I got him by just sending Peter, the first attempt only netted me Crystals, the secound got me the Romulan Warbird, and the third got me the outfit, I think I got really lucky but it shows that you can get it by just sending one character.

I’ll try asking this again:
I’ve tried every combination I can in the Cespoolus mission to get Sarong Herbert, and nothing. All combinations still report Herbert as unlikely on the meter (it barely registers). Am I missing something?

I’ve been playing this game since it was released and this is the first event that I can’t seem to make it to the next level in time. I play multiple times a day and am only at level 3.5, can’t seem to make it to 4. Is there something I’m missing? How do you earn enough experience to upgrade the warp core on time?

Just keep trying. Use the rooms, buildings, decos, and items in replicator to help boost the SF XP.

Paid for clams and Built Starfleet Acadamy for the Transporter energy and the fact is I am happy to pay for a cool looking building that I can use after the event, built all my Trek stuff round the shuttlecaft and looks good, but Guinen 200 clams, wait to get her, a 12 hour task after reaching level 2 and only a chance of winning anything, don,t think so, far to expensive., if she had been a 100, Tiny possibly may have gotten more money from me but not at 200. Players having trouble getting xp I brought the Cybernetics room and my crystals and xp flew up, nearly on level 5. I know it will not help freemium players, but those willing to spend a bit worth it to progress. As you see happy to spend a bit, but not 200 for Guinen. And the new boxes at 100 each, would have loved to get the Romulan ship but 100 each for a chance, sorry no chance from me buying these. Whatever happened to the bonus boxes you woukdd save up stuff for, guess they realised not making money. Finaly thanks for the post above you 2 girls do a great job, I have complaind myself about how Tiny do things and comments are directed at them, as you have said they do read these, players who have complaints, please have a go at Tiny and if not why, they should realise you may be able to influence them to change things, like you have informed about the Geordie glitch regarding tasks, and have possibly influenced them to change things in the past, but you have no impact in how Tiny design it, I would not fancy doing what you do here. I myself, would have missed the Rumulan statue without this post as it was not showing in event stuff, found it in the normal decorations. So thanks and keep up the great work.

Does it seem to be a better strategy to save up phaser energy and shoot more at once than piece meal? You all say “the more you blast the better stuff.” Does that translate to wait and use in clumps?

It means if you can get two or 3 items in your target area, better payouts. Especially if one of those two or more is the Petercraft.

It seems like with the rooms recently, they have been trying to give long build timers for the ones with rarer drops. and medium length build timers for the ones with more common drops. Also, with the addition of another item dropping in the Crew’s quarters, I have to wonder whether room swapping is still worthwhile. What are other people’s opinions on this?

Before I go to sleep, I swap rooms. So In the morning I surely get the crystals, or tapes, or what I need. If drops will low, I will switch rooms all the time. I dont like it, but I have to do that 😦

With the exception of Crew’s Quarters, I’m still swapping rooms back to back. I don’t like relying on the whole chance thing. I prefer knowing exactly what to expect, as far as drops, and then planning around that.
With the crews quarters though, during this phase, I’m doing some experimenting. So far it seems, the likehood of a Life Support Energy drop is higher right after a build. So I’m currently not swapping them, hoping that leaving them stationary, increases the likelihood of Grocery drops, which is what I want right now. Will probably play around with Crew’s Quarters til I get a better idea.

I think that to ultimately defeat the Borg we have only to wait until they attempt to assimilate Peter or Quagmire, between Peter’s overwhelming stupidity and Quagmire’s many diseases they will probably self destruct.

Honestly, The horrible drop rate on the transporter energy is ruining any hope of progress on this event. I’m not a Star Trek fan anyway so I’m just doing it to get clams. I’ve gotten zero chocolate bars for Troi and I’ve been done with all her other items for a few days. I just now managed to collect the six transporter balls to get to the planet to get the chocolate and I have two rec rooms and Peter and Mort going constantly.

Got Chris Tuesday morning and Deanna this morning without the use of clams. I am enjoying doing something different from the three major events last year. Trick is patience and collecting as often as possible. The new characters released last night will be just as bad if not longer — 60 rare items from phaser battles between the two of them. Don’t even want to think what we will have to do to get Kirk. With 27 days remaining and two Enterprise areas left to open, I am hoping the final week is just a major catch up.

Noticed that since the update, when colllecting life support energy it’s now registering against the locked Kirk character. Still can’t see the full details of what he’ll require, but given that I have 34 of these energy at the moment and the bar seems less than 25% full, we’re going to need lots!
Other than that, still not got the new phase unlocked (still not up to xp level 4 for the warp core yet). Even when I get there, I’m on 0 chocs for Troi with only 5 transporter energy available (having collected 0 from Peter, Mort and 2 rooms for the last 18 hours) so running the new away missions may have to wait.
On mission stats, I’ve been able to run 1 each of Oh’nos and Wai Iota so far. Frustrating, but nothing that I can do other than keep trying I guess. At least it gives me something to do over the Easter weekend while hoping not to get called out by work! 🙂

I like the game but the last few “events” just seem to be money grabs. I mean 200-400 clams for things that should be half that price. And drops for characters are next to none. I barely get the blue things for away missions to drop and if you want the room that always drops them you better have 200 clams to buy it. And the missions I have sent them on do the Chocolate drop for Deana? Nope never once have I got a chocolate drop. Just frustrating as I play as often as possible and am already way behind.
That and the game crashes every 10-20 seconds just collecting stuff. So many reports sent to tiny co with nothing….

Just a lil FYI. They did just change Transporter drops, so they should increase in dropping. Past events had Characters at 300-500 Clams, so… this one is pretty reasonable to me so far compared. I know it can be frustrating to have “chance” drops, see if the new changes on Transporter Energy make a difference over next few days and let me know.

So, next week when we are unlocking Beverly I think Bonnie and Dr Hartman need to have a co-op task, “Bonnie gets a liver transplant”, to earn an item. Its only fair to Bonnie after drinking literally two weeks straight with one single break to twerk it for Troi.

Geordi is supposed to drop phaser crystals, according to the picture telling which characters who drops crystals, however none of his actions are marked with a crystal.

Is Locutus a separate character? or will it be assimilated into Patrick Stewart? I have Patrick Stewart. Just weird to have basically the same character walking around if it’s not a skin.

I do not know, but I do know that they did just increase the odds. So keep trying and let me know if your progress the next few days is better than past.

Make sure you stay more to the middle of the firing area. Also try to restart your device to see if there is something else going on that it will help to clear.

How come in previous events; when you bought a premium character; they always dropped items that helped with the event. I bought Worf and Duinan; but they only get a chance of dropping a helpful item. That used to be a perk of spending $ for them. You would get a new character for your collection and they’d definitely help you. It doesn’t seem right that now that don’t always drop event items. I feel cheated whereas before I didn’t. Thank you for all your help and time Bunny; on this site. It is much appreciated by this player..

Not sure their thoughts on what goes into each drop for each Character. They never did state they would be always. All we can do is suggest to them it would be nice. 😉

I don’t get Klingon Chris (or other Chris costume) being able to drop Phaser Crystal (orange) – in addition to the much reported Geordi missing task. Klingon Chris appears in the picture – am I missing something?!??
Got him dropping the drugs (or whatever they’re called). Haven’t installed the (android) update yet – once they get a reported stable update will do.
Anyway I hope everyone can chillax a bit more about this…. maybe too many Trekkies??????? If it doesn’t happen so what. I’m sure it’s unimportant in a galaxy far, far away : ) ….

Here we go again with the transporter thing.
2 attempts with chris only
2 attempts with chris troi and Peter (The ship and dc are the only things that move to likely, everything else stays dead). So I’m not touching it again until i have lois done.
Nothing but dc and xp. So stupid to keep using characters for these missions that aren’t available to get required items for other characters. They are doing this so backwards.

If a certain character is so vital for a mission then they should leave it unavailable until that character is created then put it into a questline so we know now.

Damn…for realz, this event is pretty challenging. I can’t get transporter energy for anything even with 2 rec rooms and peter & Mort constantly doing their missions. And I’m seriously a regular player. My Quahog is decked out with much of the rare stuff from past events. Maybe the past events weren’t challenging so I was usually ahead of the game, and they just ramped up the difficulty this time around. Probably gonna be Sunday before I get to lvl 4 too.

I’ve tried every combination I can in the Cespoolus mission to get Sarong Herbert, and nothing. All combinations still report Herbert as unlikely on the meter (it barely registers). Am I missing something?

I have did to Warp Corp upgrade and unlock the Bridge I did not have “Frame of Mind Part 8″ inmuch less An Endless Battle Part 1″ by Peter in Warp Core Level 3.

I don’t have blue balls!
Left tiny co an amusing message, I had 7 blue balls, collected 2, went to recheck balance and had only 1 showing.
So, I messages the support about no longer having blue balls.
Good news. Woke this morning to blue balls! Earned 2 overnight, checked balance after that and have 9!
Don’t know if this was a glitch that self corrected or if support handled it (I don’t have a reply from them so I assume it self corrected). But wanted you guys to know I case others have missing blue balls, wh at happened to me

Ps I’m still 8 chocolates away from Deanna, and she will take the majority of my crystals when I get her.
I also need 3 more books for chris, so put me with those still struggling, but it seems like I may accomplish both within nest few days, hope so, ready to progress on the new ones!,

I’d love to get to starfleet level 4, but seems to be a glitch that when I earn xp from items created from the replicator it doesn’t register on starfleet meter, so my meter is just nudging along slowly. Pretty annoying. Anyone else having this problem?
