Family Guy Addicts 
I’m so annoyed with this event. I’ve sent Mort and Riker to get 1000 SPF Sunscreen for Talosian Stewie 3 times a day since he was unlocked, and I’ve only received 2 of the 6 I need… This was supposed to be a ‘Rare’ item drop, but it’s proving to be more ‘Epic’ than anything….. it would be a different story if there was a way to purchase these necessary items, but at this point I’m about to give up because it seems there’s no way I’ll get enough in this last week of the event. Thanks for ruining the game for me, TinyCo…

Has anyone else lost an amount of clams for no reason? I logged in to find I was 35 down and the other day my wife lost 150!!
Contacted TC but been ignored so far and my wife’s message has been deleted from her game, which is bad from them!!

Did you notice any new items? Purchases? Tried any Mystery Boxes? Completed any Character by “Buy Now” options?

WTD. It’s update day and I feel like I’m a week behind. Only just reached level 8, but of course will need 9. I’ve been buying extra caskets and bars, but now as a result I only have 1,600 purple crystals and 31 yellow. So even if I get to level 9 some how today (no chance) I am behind in yellows to unlock. I only just unlocked Borg Picard yesterday. I have about 20 more hair sprays to go for dr crusher and 7 condoms for quagmire. Of course with only 1,600 crystals which are coming very slowly I’m behind there.
I feel like there are 3 levels ofplayer right now when there should be 2. It should be freemium and premium. Premium should always be ahead of me at any time. I’m cool with that. Real money and all. But there’s a third class now. Those who were able to take advantage of the room swap exploit on time. Not saying it to mean cheaters. It’s just that some got an unfair advantage early on to stay on track while the rest of us floundered. This continued for them being ahead so they could get multiple romulan bars that spit out huge exp in a short time while the rest of hadn’t unlocked it yet. By ten time we had that glitch was fixed too.
Now TC may have an unrealistic view of how players feel. You have a group like me who log in every 2 hours and are way behind and are frustrated and you have those who had an early adavatage who seem fine with the pace. Add to it every time one of us makes a comment they tell us to relax in the threads and explain how they are doing fine and freemium. Frustrating.

Actually just want to add I don’t think that people that did the room exploit did anything wrong. Good for you. If I had discovered I would have as well. Shame on TC though for not catching it sooner and widening the gap in where players are.

I’m going to echo this WTD. I’ve been with FGQFS since the beginning. I have 60 characters. Some premium. But I check this game at least every two hours (not sleeping of course), but there’s no way I will even get all of the free characters in this quest. I’m not going to quit playing mind you, but this will probably stop me playing so much. If I know going into quests that there’s no way for me to get all the free rewards, I’m certainly not going to spend extra money on the other items. Again, I’m not leaving. I Still enjoy the game. I’m just not going to spend as much time with it anymore.

WTD is up with the Borg spawn rate?! I unlocked spockquagmire and have had him Deanna and worf trying to get the last 12 hypos for crusher but have had to wait half an hour or more for one to spawn. UUUGHH!

I chose to work on item drops than getting the tasks complete and I still feel like I’m behind with Crusher and Vulcan Quag. Still pushing through though.

What I mean by “not enough time” is simply some of those run 12hr -24hrs. I feel like those characters are better suited dropping items.

WTD is with all those useless prizes in the mystery boxes, I refuse to spend clams on anything I can get for free. I used it a couple of times at the start of the event first I won Gorn and then I won dilithium and that was the end of me using mystery boxes. There is some prizes I would like but the odds of me winning some useless freebie forbids me from wasting clams on them. Who wants to spend money to win something that is FREE!
If you want people to spend money on mystery boxes you’d best get rid of all those useless prizes that can easily be obtained for free TinyCo.

WTD is up with the gray rectangle space next to the Turbolift (to its right, near center of the Enterprise)??
Can’t put a room there, doesn’t seem to fill any purpose… It’s killing my OCD!!!

This is how I look at it. It is the open section that runs from top of the ship to bottom. Like an open shaft. It is where you put Red Shirts or Tribbles on the Edge and Shout… “THIS IS STAR TREK!!!” then kick them down the shaft while they yell the “Wilhelm Scream” all the way down and then sucked out into the vacuum of space. You know, just crazy thoughts like that. 😉

I seem to be having problems with Multiverse. I only see person, which I believe is the default for the game (Ollieland). Is there an issue with FTQFS versions again?

Try the basics… if that does not work… log out and back into your facebook on your device to make sure the connection is there. Then relaunch the app. Final option is unlink and relink FB

Yay, finally a good “what the deuce” for me… So after 8+ months of constant crashing every 20 seconds (unless I waited 30 seconds after collecting a screen of items before scrolling and then it might not) and despite having a fast phone with plenty of memory (an LG G3), it appears I am finally crash-free. The above was with my phone being on KitKat. My provider FINALLY upgraded me to Lollipop last night and despite me playing several times last night and today, I’ve only had one crash. One crash a day I can live with. 50 a day had me pretty grumpy. So if you have issues with crashes, bug your phone provider for a Lollipop upgrade (or find and use a MOD yourself if you don’t want to wait).

WTD! I’ve been trying so hard to get Sarong Herbert and I’ve sent Troi, Lois, Peter and Chris together several times and I still haven’t gotten him! So frustrating.

He is Rare, Similar to a Rare item in a Mystery Box. It will take MORE time and effort for the majority of people to get him. (Also look at the Transporter post for Cespoolus and see what worked for others to get him)

WTD I am really surprised that George Takei and Patrick Stewart from previous events were left out as item generators. Even a 24 hour task would be nice. Tiny Co, use the force.

I have only unlocked the first character. It is a very long and uninterested event. I am still on level 50 trying to unlock the Pawtucket man too. These beer taps NEVER show up

Having managed a small business for years, I think that I have a pretty good idea of what it takes to run a successful enterprise. In addition to the basics,(profit and loss, supply and demand, etc.), I feel that the most important thing to do is to “know your customer.” I feel that TinyCo has overlooked this concept with this event.
I would guess that a large percentage of QFS players do so freemium. It appears to me that there has always been a balance, during events, between freemium and premium. A freemium player, willing to grind it out, should be able to get the freemium characters, buildings, etc. The premium player, willing to invest in clams, can get the special items and make the quest easier.
I would never begrudge an entrepreneur wanting to turn a profit and be successful. That’s why you go into business for yourself. Make a living, turn a profit and take care of your future. The American dream. But (there’s always a but), in my opinion, this is the first event that has felt like a “cash grab.”
I know that there is still a lot of time left in this event. Hopefully, TinyCo will make some more adjustments to make the quests more manageable. But, as of now, I feel that this will be the first event that I am not able to complete. And that is a disappointment.
Another disappointment, to me, is the overall concept. I understand why this event is based on TNG, but, as a fan of the original (love the J.J.Abrams reboots too), I have no affection for these characters. Never heard of Q, didn’t even know that Whoopie was a cast member. Would I buy a 200 clam Leonard Nimoy Spock? Absolutely. A James Doohan Scottie? No. A George Takei Sulu? Wait, I already have George.
I’ll keep grinding it out, because I LOVE this game. It’s become my daily companion in my retirement. (Hello, my name is Joey Mets and I’m an addict.) I would hope that TinyCo remembers all of us freemium players who may not have the ability to invest more than our time in this game.

I couldn’t agree more. TinyCo has lost touch with what the taget audience should be. Based on demographics for the series, the target audience of 21 to 40 year olds, majority male and majority middle class income bracket; and casual game audience targets 16 to 40, majority female and lower income bracket (main offset with highschool students factored in). Couple that with the ratings decline for FG and the app market bubble in decline, and the fickle nature of gamers (attention span of a goldfish by some standards) you’d think that they’d be adjusting their pricing and give more freely. I’d give this game 6 months before the sales plummet, a year at best, and the VC firm pulls the rug out. If the business model doesn’t change and the tactics like artificial sense of urgency, cheap psychology tricks, constant adjust only when losing player base, and overpriced fluff (lack of goal oriented purchaseables at a high price), this game will be in the same position as Will Wheaton’s career, in the toilet. I’ve been in open dialog with the powers that be over at TinyCo and have sent them a blueprint for entire overhaul. As fixing broken companies is what I do for a living, I can only hope they listen. You can lead a horse to water….

I’m not loving the shielding petercraft.
Large areas of it don’t count as a hit, but your sights light up in exactly the same way if there is an asteroid nearby. When there are useless targets and useful targets, it would be nice to be able to tell what we’re actually shooting at.
Most of the time it is moving too quickly to get two shots off, or it barely crosses the corner of the screen, so you spend a lot of time waiting for just the right combination of speed and direction that will even allow you the chance to get two shots.
The lag spikes/ graphic stutter glitches can easily prevent your second shot.
The phaser battle UI is poorly designed. The fire button is so small that you can easily miss it when you try to tap it if you have to move your sights between shots, and it’s placed such that you can’t easily use one hand to aim and one to fire. We need a fire bar that goes all the way across the bottom of the screen, or at least a button that is large enough to consistently hit without looking.
The always drops were certainly needed, but you’re going to need a lot more phaser energy than you should because of all the other problems.

Two WTDs from me!
1) When the graphics lag for a second just when you try to fire the phasers at shielded petercraft and you PE is wasted.
2) How low is the drop rate from borg for the supposedly only uncommon Beverley item!!!

What the deuce? If you pay up for planet Vulcan, you’d think we’d have a chance to get items for Quagmire. I’ve tried about four times today and haven’t got anything but crystals and a tribble deco and am using 5 characters. Argh.
