  1. WTD, I am playing as often as a can, but getting nowhere. I just started playing a week or so before the valentine event, and barely made it, but that was because I had just unlocked Joe, and assumed that if I had more characters unlocked, and had progressed farther in the game, it would be easier to accomplish goals, not easy, just easier. Noooooo, I now have unlocked up to Stewie, and it is more difficult to go anywhere, as most of the characters don’t have anything star trek related to do, and the tasks themselves seem to require spending extra money to get an advantage, as any advantage, like room swaps, found by players get quickly wiped out, while the glitches and programming errors take significantly longer to fix. I understand that they are trying to make it more fair for the new players, but unless they only want to generate new players, and alienate the older ones, they should offer some added advantage for those farther along in the game as an incentive to keep them around. I have seen so much negative energy and anger surrounding this game, that it doesn’t really seem like a game as much as a chore, and that sucks!

Oh yeah, and while they certainly don’t need me to fight their battles, some of you folks need to stop unleashing your anger and frustration at Bunny and Alissa, as they have nothing to do with the way the game works, with the exception of actually having the developers pay some attention to what they say to help YOU out! Also, read some of the other folks posts before you post a question, as it seems the same questions get asked and asked over and over because you just ask without checking to see if maybe it has already been answered.

Thank you for providing this forum to unleash the frustration, but I sure wish there was more sharing of joy and the fun in the game!

  2. The laser pointers are the hardest to get. You need 35 and they are classified as rare. And only 2 ways to get them? WTD!
And one of those ways is to get laser energy which is hard to get if you do not have premium characters.
They need to add another way to get laser pointers or reduce the number required which they can do if they want.
And finally my biggest WTD. TinyCo needs some serious Q and A before they release a product. It seems they are not testing software before they release it. I mean serious bugs in the program. This should not happen. They need to invest big money into testing before release. It does not look like they do much testing and that needs to change big time.

    • (Just so you know, I am getting them pretty quickly in the Phaser Battles. The more items you blow up in the target area, the better items drops. 😉 )

    • I agree about the drops for the laser pointer and the baggie of felicium…even with Worf (who right now isn’t actually helping with phaser energy) and Starfleet Academy and 2 weapons lockers, phaser energy isn’t coming quick and I only got a drop for 1 out of 5 hits to the Petership today (with usually 2 targets hit per blast–rarely do more than that enter the target at the same time). So far on pace to get Picard and the lois costume sometime Thursday (and be way behind in the questline)…but that’s with weekend play rates so unless they adjust something my accumulation is going to fall way behind once the work week starts. If I was unemployed and not spending any money on the game I think I could get everything on schedule and just be super behind in the quest line, but apparently T-Co has decided to alienate the people who spend money on their game with this particular event as well as the people who can play constantly…WTD.

  3. What I’d really love to see are the sales stats this event is generating.

It seems completely counter-intuitive that TinyCo/Fox could make more money by using this new, big-stick approach to try to make players cough-up for clams. Surely people spend more money on hobbies and pastimes they enjoy having fun with than one that’s totally frustrating and feels like a blatant money-grab? That’s how it works for me anyway.

I’m so glad I didn’t shout about this event to my friends because if I had I’d look a total fool right about now. I’m so sorry for the newbies who started playing because of this Star Trek event , FGTQFS hasn’t been like this before 😦

  4. I’m STILL trying to get the blasted TE!!! And still trying to level up to level 3…I’m going to be so behind. Also need the chocolate bars to unlock the character. The TE drops haven’t increased at all, I have no idea why Tiny co said the drops increased when nothing has changed.

  5. Trying to get the chocolate is ridiculous… You need 6-7 blue things to go on a mission, and Mort and Peter are the only ones who can get it with a rare chance. Just trying to get us to spend 100 clams.
I play several times a day and I’m not even close to unlocking the woman trapped under the rubble.

  6. I don’t understand the complaining for this event. It is not that hard, yes it does require more time spent checking in to get max chances at drops. But it is 2 days since latest update and I am just about half done on the 2 new characters items needed, which means I will unlock them before next update on Thursday. If you play free and don’t use clams then you have to expect things to take much longer to get. If this game is making you frustrated, then take a break, go outside, talk to friends, it’s only a game and when it’s done, whether you get all the bells or just some of the whistles, life will go on. Enjoy this game for what it is, a game, an escape, amusement, it’s not a job, or work, no one is forcing us to play, we choose to do this to ourselves, so smile and tap tap tap and live long and prosper.

WTD… I’m actually enjoying this event somehow despite all the complaints? It’s a game. It’s encouraged me to watch Star Trek TNG to find out who these people are & I’m enjoying that too. I’m taking Bunny’s advice & just chilling out, sending people on their questlines. Unlocked Troi today finally, being patient is rewarding! Sorry it’s not much of a WTD, but it’s more just surprised me lol!

I could buy a bunch of those Stewie Dictator Statues, but I don’t want to buy those over and over. TinyCo should allow for the coins to be used in lieu of clams to complete tasks, unlock characters, etc.

  17. Does anybody know if all events are like this where it seems almost geared towards paying clams and if you don’t it’s really hard to get what you need? I only started playing a week ago it was my first event.

Starfleet xp seems so low, 2 days for 25% through level 3, i can’t do quick character tasks, as they drop items I need for troi. They made characters like bruce and joe drop items for the event, despite not being involved in it, so why not all characters?

I’m praying they don’t remove the switch out buildings you own ability, or nerf the always drop rate from doing so, as it’s been my only reliable source of transporter energy, the only other 4 I had before then took several days

    • No. Usually they are pretty fair to Freemiums. This one is definitely a lil unusual than what we are used to. Hang in there. Still a month to go and many changes probably to still come.

      • It makes sense they would make this event a cash grab. They more then likely dropped way more money getting an entire cast of a tv show. They need to make it back somehow. Most events you could get everything without much spending. This time they have to generate more purchases just because this event had to be RIDICULOUSLY expensive to put together. Heck, this was the first event since launch I saw a tv commercial aired. That tells you right there they invested a lot of money into this event. If we want events like this, we need to be prepared to pay for it.

    • This is only my second event, and I am finding it more cash hungry than the first. My first event, the Valentines event, let you buy mystery boxes with event currency, in this case the pink crystals, in addition to clams, not so much in this event. The skins and characters were less difficult and frustrating to get, Beautiful Peter, Edna, Hot Meg, Cupid, Cheryl Teigs, etc,and I did it without clams.

I actually bought a building and a couple rooms this time, thinking they would make a difference, and they really have not. Still, a while to go, so I will wait and see if it gets any better. But I will not spend any more clams, which is really hard earned money, that yields me no real advantage. I got my tribble room and giant tribble, so if I do not get any more imaginary stuff for my imaginary town, I can live with it! *chuckle*

Playing and playing and playing, at max level in my game and with practically all available characters, and I’m still at Starfleet level 3, unable to unlock the bridge and start on Locutus etc., and have never had enough transporter energy to have a chance at Troi’s chocolate (currently have just 4.) Now on my third attempt at getting the billboard (despite having it as most “likely” reward each trip) as I only just got to that mission THIS MORNING. I’ve never had this much trouble with an event before, and all my messages to TinyCo are going unanswered. Give ’em hell, Bunny – we’re all counting on you.

  20. WTD. ..I have spent my coins on at least one of every building or decoration and still have over $2.8MM in coins doing nothing. I also can’t place anything more because there is not enough land so my inventory is packed. Speaking of inventory, I have 30 characters sitting in there because none of their tasks contribute to the Star Trek event. Thus includes premium characters I spent clams on like the horse, Jake, and consuella.

Not to mention all the horrific inconsistencies, problems and take backs by tinyco for this event.

  21. 1. Why can you only get chocolate from one source, which is a) expensive to get to and b) not even certain to get the stuff when you send an away team.
    2) how do you use the phasers? I have energy crystals but don’t know how to use them.

    • 1: Dunno… ask TinyCo

2: Watch for the items to come in groups. Petercraft AND asteroids all together. Once they light up the target red… fire. The more items you have in that target… the better items you get paid out to you.

    • What didn’t make sense to me is that she requires 12 chocolate, but the only way to get chocolate is doing another task that requires 6 crystals and that task drops 4 chocolate, requiring it to be done 3 times (or more if you’re unlucky). So why make it 12 chocolates? Why doesn’t the task just drop 1 chocolate and she requires 3 to unlock?

  22. So 12 Transporters have been used and 0 chocolates have been gained. I don’t get it… The chance is likely. I should have 8 chocolates!

I keep seeing you guys say not to send Peter. Why? He increases the likelihood. What does not sending him do?

    Thanks!

    Like

    • Oh I get it now. Peter increases the chance of the other items and makes them more likely then the chocolate. I wish I noticed this earlier. Thanks!

      • I finally got the last 4 chocolates yesterday. For me, Peter was on the away crew for each successful trip for chocolates. I got 4 bars the very first trip with Peter, Chris, and Geordi. Sent them again twice without getting choc, then once more and got 4 more bars. After that I stopped sending Peter so he could be trying (…key word there..) for more transporter energy, which I know now was probably a mistake for me. I don’t have Worf, so with just Chris and Geordi, chocolates were shown as likely with a couple bars ahead of other stuff on the meters. I sent them at least 4 maybe 5 times and got nothing at all. I kept thinking it was just because of chance and kept sending just these two. Finally I decided to send Peter along with them again even though he pushed the meter for crystals slightly ahead of the meter for chocolates and got the last 4 I needed to unlock Troi on that try. So, in my own experience, I don’t think a person can definitively say not to send Peter to increase your chances. Sending him with Chris and Geordi worked out well for me, but of course others may not get the same results.

        Like

      • Don’t feel bad. Based on the comments, it seems a lot of players are not noticing that. You have a better chance of getting chocolate by sending Chris and Geordi, without Peter. If you send Geordi, Chris AND WORF, its practically guaranteed you will bring back chocolate. A lot of us players, who have already unlocked Troi, have been saying this over and over.

  23. Like some of the others, I am frustrated with the amount of money this event seems to require. It’s like Tinyco knows we are now all invested and it’s their chance to gouge. Clams seem to be the only way to get to an end. I have spent months building my Quahog and have spent a couple of hundred dollars, at this point, to buy clams but, I have almost a million dollars and nothing worth spending it on!! What is the point of building and completing actions to receive money that can’t be spent??? What happens when I reach a million? There isn’t enough space in the tally box to go to 7 figures, will that change or will there be something worth spending money on again soon?

Really enjoy the game and don’t want to quit but, it’s really starting to require too much time to get any where without buying clams!!

    Like

    • I hear you! I feel the same way! It seems like everything costs clams instead of coins. I have almost 2.5 million coins but, nothing to spend them on. Seems like there was a time the in-game coins were needed for something the most…mostly clearing the land. Nowadays…NADDA!

      Like

    • Sorry to disagree but I’m up to $2,865,385 already I guess the box just keeps getting bigger 🙂

      Like

    • It’ll go to seven figures. I’ve got 3.5 million coins and climbing.

My WTD – why am I still collecting coins if we don’t get to use them during events!?! TinyCo should let us convert coin into event currency at 100:1 and convert to clams at 10000:1 or something like that so long time players who’ve likely already spent hundreds of real world coin on this game can get premium characters buildings and skins without dumping even more money in, whereas newer players would still have to buy clams and fund further development if they wanted the same stuff.

Just as an example: My 3.5 mil coin would convert to 350 clams and buy one and a half premium characters or a character and a building. Would make this event feel much less like a money grab if I could use all of my previous playtime to help out when I need it. Would also give me a reason to keep buildings and characters out, even if they aren’t directly helping collecting things for the events.

Happy Easter, Bunny and Alyssa. 🙂

  24. I’m holding off spending money to get chocolate to get Troi if I don’t get her tough. Samer with the suprise boxes i’d quite like the Klingon war bird and the outfit for Mr Herbert but at 100 clams a go with no guarante what I might get I’m gonna give them a miss too. If it was a case of being able to buy them for 100 clams i probably would have but the way things are going not worth wasting my clams on a chance of getting the right thing.
Also sucks that to go to the only planet that gives a chance of chocolate you need 6 warp energy, and have to make at least 3 trips to get the 10 chocolate as it only drops a possible 4 each time. why not just make it 3 required and only drop 1 !!!

  25. WTD. Shoot Peter craft ship and win either laser wand or the bags for Lois, 35 wands and 25 bags so 60 needed from only 2 options for each, including hitting the ship, Chris and Quagmire, it is taking ages to collect the energy to do it, 10 direct hits, won 1 bag and 1 wand, dreadful drop rate, and had Chris crying for 3 tries, 12 hours and nothing. Also 40 batteries needed and again only 2 chances, continually clicking Bonnie every hour, or sending them on away trips when even with all caracters free inc Worf, still showing very unlikely chance, or you can also send Lois? how I send a locked caracter, come on give us more chances, there are loads of caracters doing nothing, including Patrick Stewart, Benedict and George all Trek actors and doing nothing in a Trek event? Game is now getting boring with massive amounts to collect.

    • I totally agree with your statement.

I almost had the same result with yours and constantly swapping rooms for more phaser energies.

The prizes from clearing the Borgs are not really helpful as those items could easily be collected from the rooms.

Maybe the wands and the bags could be exchanged instead of space groceries and duct tape.

The first week was fun. Starting with the second week’s release this has changed from a game I enjoy playing around the clock to a game I just check on after long action times, usually to no reward. I have Worf., Guinan and I spent clams after a week to finally get Troi. The drop rates for this event are horrid. Add in the looooong actions and it is just not as fun anymore. I have played this game since launch and this event has made me a question whether I want to continue or not. I will probably see how this event ends but my faith in Tiny Co has faltered in recent weeks. I want a game that is fun not frustrating.. Hopefully these kinks get worked out and the fun will return soon. If not, it was a fun memory.

  28. I have a question – when a character task can drop multiple items, when it is complete can it drop one of each of the items or is it only 1 per complete?
If it is only one this sucks for someone who started the game in response to the star trek event as I have characters whose Quahog tasks overlap with the event tasks (as well as the crew quarters now doubled up on items)

If so this is awful design – why not assign event items to tasks that do not overlap with others, or just create duplicate tasks so I can choose which task to be working towards.

Coupled with the fact that I now have characters that have 2 separate tasks to collect 2 different resources this is feeling really frustrating.

  29. I feel torn right now about this event. I feel like I have three options: spend money on stuff I don’t want in order to get stuff I want; keep going, earn what I can, and store stuff in inventory after the event because otherwise it’ll remind me that I didn’t win everything; or just give up on the event entirely and peace out of the game for a few weeks. I feel like it’s breaking the freemium game “social contract” to make it frustratingly difficult to progress without spending money. And I’ve spent money on this game. I have no problem with that. I just want to choose when and how I spend it, not feel like I’m forced to spend it. I’ve even bought vanity items, like event buildings after I didn’t need the items they dropped, just because I liked how they looked. Even the mariachi band! I feel disillusioned with this game right now.

  30. Please bear with me. I might ramble a bit.

I feel that TinyCo blew a golden opportunity with this event. They had a media campaign to announce this event. How many people who have never played this game came on board just now? My guess is a good number. So, as a newbie, you start playing a freemium game with in app purchases, and the first thing you see is a main character from TNG for $10.00.

I started playing during the King Butt event, and for the most part, I have played freemium and have been able to achieve all freemium items and weekly challenges. I have found this event very confusing and, IMO, the most challenging to date with too many things going on at the same time. At the beginning, I was flying by the seat of my pants. I was playing about 2 months before I found this website. How many newbies are aware of sites like this to help them thru? They will most likely go to TinyCo’s Facebook page, see all the ugliness there and ask “Why bother?”

Next rant. There has to be a slight problem with the way TinyCo put this event together. The fact that there are still players with 0 or 4 chocolates at this stage doesn’t sound right. Characters that are locked needing other locked characters to unlock the first character and vice versa.

There’s a few more complaints, like drops and not enough characters helping out, but I’ve come to accept that as part of the bigger challenge and I can live with that. When you achieve the ultimate prize at the end, you feel a sense of accomplishment.

I’m not going anywhere. I’ve invested a lot of my time and I still enjoy the fun associated with this game.

Thank you ladies. Sorry for the long rant. Happy Passover and Happy Easter to all who celebrate these holy days.

    Peace

    • I thought that was very well put, and I agree with pretty much all of your analysis. I, too, am in this for the long haul, but that doesn’t prevent the game leaving a sour taste in my mouth from time to time when the challenges seem insurmountable. All the same, if they course-correct too far in the other direction and make the game too easy, the rewards lose their meaning.

  36. It usually annoys me when people talk about quitting the game and whatever, but this event actually has me debating it. They seem to “correct” issues that benefit the player and ignore the issues that benefit them. Seems stupid to have the crews quarters dropping two items while some rooms are now pointless after getting their specific item. I don’t even get the first energy drop 50% of the time, let alone green or blue at a decent rate. Now all the people who spent the materials to build several romulan bars have wasted all of it for 4xp once a day. Just seems like a giant middle finger to the players who think they are getting ahead by using what TC has allowed them to. Either double check the values before its in the game or limit it to one craft per item…

    Like

    • My opinion, the reason they did that with CQ was due to the build time. People have been swapping CQ for the energy drop. Which made unlocking areas easier than they expected/planned. But since they added the second drop, people would have to stop swapping it out as rebuilding the room only guarantees the energy and not the 2nd item. The thing is, once players get all of the required 2nd item, they would just go back to swapping out the room.

  37. I love this game! Been here since the beginning. But man, transporter energy is really bumming me out! 😕 I am not one of those players that just pops in once or twice a day. I’m on this thing all day errday, and it is frustrating to see the game progress so quickly and leave me in the dust. I have 2 rec rooms and Peter and Mort and constantly on their 6 hr tasks, but I’ve only got 4 chocolates to show for it and I’m still 4 energies away from being able to send another crew away. It would be nice to reward players with more frequent drops. It’s been 2 days since my last crew was sent. I’ve been diligent about making sure there is no idle time. Blahhhhhhhh I got 3 players I need to unlock now and I feel spread too thin.

Also, Easter candy. Bikini season is rapidly approaching and all I wanna do is swim in a sea of Cadbury eggs and peeps.

  38. Well every game reaches a point where it’s no longer fun to play. I’ve reached that with TinyCo and Family Guy. This event is so geared to extort money. I’m a premium player and I spend money but the blatant changes to the game to close off any advantage one can gain is to much for me. Anemic drop rates and limited character use, why did I buy all these premium characters if they are never used again? Aesthetically the game is great but the execution is so horrible with the constant crashes, errors in programming, and just not thinking through game play. I mean do they even play their own game? I’d like to say thanks to Bunny and the crew for all your help. I’ll see you on the TSTO site. So long and thanks for all the fish TinyCo.

WTD — why is there this growing need for TinyCo to be constantly changing things in the middle of events that work AGAINST the favor of the players? It is the one who releases the material into the game. Has it not thought all of it through? Every update is delayed for one reason or another. Can’t it take a few more hours and GET IT RIGHT? It is becoming too commonplace for players to be playing the game the way it is presented to us by TinyCo only to have TinyCo change something midstream. When TinyCo makes a huge mistake that doesn’t allow players to have a realistic chance in the game, then TinyCo should make changes. But why change things that IT sent out in the game that might work in the favor of the players and then change it in the middle?? People are struggling to collect XP so they can move to the next phase and the ale bar was a huge assistance (as were the taco trucks). This is just the latest example. It would be nice to have some faith and trust in TinyCo so I would be more comfortable reaching into my wallet to buy some clams. But with flawed challenge after flawed challenge and constantly changing things that shouldn’t need to be changed, it makes me wonder why anyone would spend money on the game when they can’t trust what they are purchasing.

  40. WTD…..I can get more phaser energy than transporter energy? I need the transporter energy so I can get the chocolate to free Troi! And I don’t think they increased the drops on the transporter energy. If anything, mine have been dropping less now 😦

  42. This whole event gets a big stinking What the Deuce from me this week. I was about to throw in the towel last week but thought I would give it another chance. What did the Thursday release have in store, however? A whole bunch more headache, frustration & gnashing of teeth. This event & this whole game has been fluxing up my serenity big time. With the one-year anniversary only a week away, though, I’m going to tough it out at least that long to say I gave it a whole year before quitting.

All the people who complained about blasting minions. Boo to you. You also get a What the Deuce. I loved corralling those little critters in my intricate mazes and watching them try to scurry off before the inevitable blast came to wipe them all away. Now because of all the complainers, we’ve got this new targeting system that you get to play maybe half a dozen times a day. Boo. Minions were way cooler.

And all the people that made Indiana and Arkansas’ stupid religious freedom laws necessary … both the religious right zealots and the overly litigious left wing loudmouths. It’s a freaking wedding cake with two guys or gals on top or a six-pack of chicken fingers from Chick-fil-a. Who cares? If you don’t like a business’ religious beliefs, don’t patronize that business, boycott that business, hold protests out front & do everything you can to drive that business out of business, but don’t demand that government pass a law “respecting the establishment (or lack thereof) of religion.” Why can’t people just get along? WHAT THE DEUCE?!?!?!?

  43. TinyCo has no clue what it is to make freemium games. It’s every event that you can’t make it without spending clams.
    WHAT THE DUECE, TinyCo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have great event’s ideas. But they don’t give time to complete them. This star trek event is a new example. Lo Starfleet exp, it takes forever to get choco bars via planet exploration. Creating outfits for characters is utterly impossible with the time they give you.

It would be better if they drop the time lock for this event and keep it going.

  44. Chocolate bars…zero. have all the rest of the stuff, finally.
Transporter energy seems a bit better, we will see in an hour and a half how many I get out of 4 chances..
Just got to warp core 3. Will let you know what I think after 24 hours of this, thinking the amount of itms needed to unlock characters is a bit high, we will see…

  45. WTD? I am echoing the not enough characters working sentiment. Why does Chris have two “Spar with Bath’leth” task in the quest list? If I was lucky and both popped at same time I could got both at same time.

And why does it seem like the premium characters are to bend you over and do something really nasty. Worf and Guinan are both a waste since they don’t drop their intended ore 100% and they have some stupid long tasks to get them. I see it as a either/or situation. If you want to have the uncertainty of drops then the task times should be short. If you want to have a long task time (any task that takes 6 or more hours), then there should be a guaranteed drop every time they do the task. I know I will not be investing in another premium because of this.

  47. WTD, why do all the American networks show movies with tons of violence and then they censor the most mundane words? I was watching one the other day just for a larf and there was a song playing in the background with your average every day profanity, and they decided to edit it out even though it was in the chorus! It was so bad you couldn’t understand the dialog going on in the foreground… freakin’ hilarious! It is so ironic that the home of free speech has the most draconian censorship in the free world, even though every 5 year old hears much worse every day in the playground lol

    • You should see american news, they almost have a heart attack if somebody drops the f word. in my country they simply apologise for the bad language and move on.

  48. Yeah I really wish they’d let me know they were going to nerf the hell out of the ale bar before I bought a second one. I thought they did it so I had a realistic chance of gaining levels. Alas it appears I’ll still be level 4 when the new warp core becomes available (and requires level 6).
Silly me thinking they did something in an attempt to help create a better balance. I mean, they improved the chocolate drops! I had real hope!!
But I guess it’s back to no hope of ever seeing the final levels of this event.

    • I bought 10 of them, depleting my replicator ore supply and now they’re garbage. 😦 If they dramatically change an item there should be an option to sell it back for a day afterwards…

  49. My WTD: 1. still not what I would call pleased with the drop rates overall, 2. It may just be me going loopy, but it seems like the total number of each item needed is a bit too high especially since drop rates are lower, 3. I do purchase premium characters and think they should provide more of an advantage, not just a chance of. Example: Guinan was 200 clams and only offers a chance for phaser energy with a long six hour task. She’s only dropped one duct tape after multiple tasks. I would like premium characters to have shorter tasks with high drop rates. It’s why I purchase them after all. 4. Fuzz ball room is dropping far less tribbles now. Premium purchase, same line of thinking. 5. I totally get that TinyCo needs to make money and I’m all for that, which is why I don’t mind spending $20 each month or for the current event about $70 so far. I like the game and want it to stick around for a long time, buuuuttttt I think there should be real value for the money spent. I would like to think that the money lots of us spend on this game actually supports player who cannot spend real money on the game. I know if my situation was even a little different, there’s no way I could spend real money on the game, but I would likely still play. 6. I think the cost of premium characters is a bit on the high side. However, maybe the cost is directly related to what TinyCo spent or will spend on securing the content for us. I’m sure it’s not cheap. 7. Not a WTD at all. Happy Easter Everyone! Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!

  50. the bars changed and still no explanation about the supposed 800 xp for the casket deco that definately didnt give 800 xp and ive been waiting patiently to see my bar jump up and it hasnt. should have jumped up almost a whole level. have reported to tinyco and asked for a refund but no luck as of yet.

    • I confirmed it with them. 800 is correct. The bars visually not moving is just that… visual. It is adding the points.

      • They are lying. We’ve seen multiple complaints about people not getting XP from the replicator. We’ve heard from people who were close the next level and a couple hundred xp didn’t bump them to the next level. 800 Xp is a LOT of Xp, and if you got that much, you would definitely notice the difference in gameplay and time to advance if you received it. You have said yourself that we’ve seen flawed visuals before, but people didn’t complain like this because it still seemed to work. Now, people are complaining because it doesn’t seem to work.

      • but it should have been enough to take me to the next level so why hasnt it?

        • How do you know it would have been enough? There are no numbers displayed so that would be impossible to verify. Trust me, I am being VERY vocal with them on the XP. 😉

      • I was also miffed by this & reported it. I know what it said & don’t doubt they reported it this way to you Bunny, but it is not just a visual lack of movement. 800 Xp is a huge amount of points by comparison to other tasks. It would have easily moved me from level 4 to level 5 & then well into level 5 when I built it but I didn’t even get one bar. The ale bar at 32 was moving the bar visibly so nothing for 800? I know you want to believe what you’re getting from them, but it’s just not accurate on this issue.

I got a canned reply to my in game message yesterday boasting about their generosity on points in week 2. I actually don’t see why they are getting stingy with this now as you can’t even level up the warp core until you finish the quest & the new week arrives. They aren’t even giving away clams for levels anymore.

The only thing I can think is some other prize for reaching level 10 they want to slow down release of. Nimoy Spock maybe?

        • Here is the thing… I PERSONALLY tested it. I am telling you it is something with specific items. They “visually” do not seem to move the bar. Not to mention just like any other XP Level… each new Level requires more and more to move up. So I played with it. From 5 to 6 and 6 to 7. It seemed to not move. Then BAM… “Congrats Level 6″… then same for Level 7. I verified this many times. Even had TinyCo double check. It is ONLY visual.

          • All I know is that I, in my game, did not get credit for 800 star fleet experience points when I built the ejector. There is no conceivable way that many points would not have increased my level at the time. 800 points is equivalent to cashing in on the 32 payout 25 times, which I did over the course of the day Friday & into Saturday. My level gradually increased from the end of 4 to the start of level 6 as I did so. That is very consistent with everything else I’ve observed as far as XP up to this point in the event. Like I said, it doesn’t really matter as there is no real reward for leveling up at this point.

          • I had the opportunity to personally test the co levels with the taco trucks (by sheer luck). I can’t recall if it was 25 or 35xp per truck, but the meter moved steadily. A fleet of 47 jumped me a level. That’s somewhere between 1,000-1,500 xp. Therefore, a reward of 800 may not have shown up immediately, but it should have gotten players who were 3/4 there to the next level.
