My personal WTD… I can understand things requiring more and more to unlock, and I’m sorta OK with that. However, what has annoyed me is that premium characters don’t seem to have guaranteed drops like they have in the past. At 270 and 200 clams, respectively, Worf and Guinan still have crappy drop rates, and I fell like you are only spending clams just to have them.

1) Flaws with drop rates are due to bad math or blatant and inherent greed. Once again, TinyCo has underperformed with drop rates and/or event timing. While I’m sure that fine tuning the timing to allow for less dead time for avid players was an eventuality, I’m reading that as of today there are people just now unlocking Troi. As this places them halfway through Phase 2, and we’re about 40% through the Phase 3 window, by the time the final Phase kicks in, they’ll be almost an entire Phase off. And for new players or those just joining into the event? They have no hope whatsoever of finishing the event without a sparse few characters/skins without spending a fortune to get caught up. Bathrobe Quagmire isn’t available until much later in the game. To those that say “but there’s a whole month left….”: Think about how much content is left. By the schedule, this event is 6 Phases. Content left is 2 more zones with 1 character and 1 skin each and a week long grand finale. We will have to build Kirk. Suspected characters include Klingon Meg skin and Picard skin (not to speculate too much but this is the only reason I could come up with as to why not use Patrick Stewart, Picard is featured on the game pic.). Another speculation is a Sulu skin. We’ve pestered TinyCo about the Takei and Stewart involvement and they wouldn’t have to aquire additional licensing for them. They’ll probably be put in the clams shop as Cleveland was before for those who didn’t get him. Before flaming me on this being a NG event, Quagmire and Stewie skins are original series. They could pull out other characters too. Q is a prime example that a clammer would be happy to purchase and would make sense. So with 2 or more unlock characters, 1 build character, and 5 more potential skins… a buttload of exciting content to squeeze into 3 more Phases.
2) Who’s gonna beat down the Borg? Troi by herself unless you’ve thrown clams into the mix. And Troi beating Borg? Meh!
3) Paying for characters and then having them sit collecting dust or grinding to max out level to collect dust later is a might bit ridiculous. The year opened with a best of 2014. What have they done since then? Pretty much nada. And don’t get me started on Cumberbatch! And what about premium buildings? No help there either. In previous events at least some characters had purpose, even at the 24 hour level. This event? Nope!
4) Got this game figured out! It’s social online gambling (At least in it’s current state). We pay real money for a chance winning a virtual prize. It comes as no surprise… one of TinyCo’s first products was a virtual casino! Understandable that company’s need to make money to stay in business and that the 20 million investment round prior to this game’s release needs to see ROI or the plug can be pulled; however, applying gamblings addictiveness as a strategy to a casual game results in backlash. See Zynga as a company for more details on this… Proof? Rupert boxes anyone? Yes, we’re all gambling for pixels and they control the odds. Maybe i need a trip to Vegas soon so I can earn more real money? Nah, I’d just use it to buy more clams. LOL! Guess the site title is truly acurate. Hi I’m Evil and I’m an addict. So Chris is the only character who can earn Felicium for Starfleet Lois, but he also has to do Complain About Complexion for Guinan’s Guide part 3, Write Love Poems for Age of Ascension part 2, and Show Klingon Angst for Bat’leth Out of Hell part 5. Those are an 8 hr, 10hr, and one day task. So either I spend two days to advance the quests or actually try to get Starfleet Lois by repeatedly running a four hour task to pick up 25 rare items. I know you can get the Felicium by blowing up the PeterCraft, but I’m having enough trouble getting phaser energy as well. And the drops on the phaser battles aren’t great anyway. I’m hoping TinyCo makes some tweaks as they tend to do. I know there are 25 days left, but if the next two stages are as tough, or tougher, than this one, I’m concerned.

not a WTD but was just wondering on the characters people sent to get herberts costume and the ship we need for one of the quests. ive had a couple of goes with no luck and have limited transporter energy so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks girls.

I got Warbird with Chris alone. Herbert with Deanna alone. But have seen others state different odds. It’s really chance on what will get him for you.

ok well i tried her twice and didnt even get extra crystals! 😦 so im trying chris and deanna now for something different. have seen people get him with just chris but also chris, deanna and peter so i think it may be more luck of the draw! fingers crossed coz im running out of TE! 😦

While I’m playing the Star Trek stuff, I’m collecting lots of coins in my other world that I can’t spend. I wish there was a conversion of coins to clams or other useful currencies. Also I would like there to be a quick collect button on coins. My town is so big it takes a while to collect them!

WTD: Why aren’t patrick stewart and george takei able to do anything. Why. Why has tinyco forsaken them. They’re star trek people. They could entirely be on the ship talking about how it’s not the same as when they were on the show.
This annoys me more than the TE issues. They could be earning extra currency and XP for us but noooo, tinyco has forgotten they exist.

He says they appears when the Warp Core upgraded.
I’m on iOS a and he is running Android.

WTD I don’t understand wy everyone’s getting so upset, yes the skins and characters are taking longer to unlock but I’ve still been managing to upgrade the warp core less than a day behind the release and start on the next section.
At the end of every event we complain about all the stuff we have left over but this event seems to be much more economic so we collect what we need an no more, we have until the end of April, chill, relax and enjoy.
And thanks to bunny and alissa don’t lose hope your site is invaluable!

I am a constant player and invested clams too. But The ammount of stuff for characters on the bridge (starfleet L and Picard) is ridiculously high. It is getting boring. It clearly takes more than a week of constant playing. Plus, missions to latest planet bring nothing, even with complete fleet! Are you serious? What the deuce!

& I don’t really see why you guys’d feel bad about deleting someone’s rant if they’re trying to post in the wrong place(s)…they can what the deuce it like you’ve clearly posted. Tons if different people types & yeah, lots of things to get irked about here & there in the game, but u guys shouldn’t take it to heart so much when a complainer misposts their grace lacking pangs…just press delete. If they want to be heard, they should properly post. Mjust sayn.

WTD? Troi MUST be unlocked to progress the main quest line!? It’s taking such a very long time to unlock her, but I hope the blue balls dropping a little more frequently will help, along with the increased chance for chocolate. I did send just Klingon Chris and Geordie, but they don’t guarantee chocolate, so I’m saving up hard to come by TE yet again and hopefully the next trip will release me from this annoyance so I can get on with enjoying the game.
With TE so very slow to get, it feels like such a terrific waste of time going on a long mission that sucks up six of them in one go and then come back with nothing. For the amount of XP and dilithium received, it’s almost worse than nothing. Maybe Tiny Co could increase the payout of these in proportion to how many TEs were used to go on the trip to still make it worthwhile?
Perhaps if people haven’t unlocked Troi by the start of the next phase, TC could make all trips for chocolate a 100% chance of success to help those who will by then be a very long way behind?
Thank you Bunny and Alissa, for all you do to help everyone playing this interesting game… Providing walkthroughs, helpful suggestions, providing people a space to feel listened to, and keeping the site a positive one. Also for such frequent updates! If there was a “Small Wins” section, I’d write, “TE drops do seem to have increased a bit – only one more TE to go and fingers crossed for the last 4 chocs!” Or, “Managed to pop all tribbles and all of their spawn without any escapees – woo hoo!”

Just stopping by to say hello. I know about negativity as well as I deal with it on a daily basis. You both do amazing work, so turn those frowns into a nice cold beer and let’s chill (I don’t know what that means, roll with it!). Keep up the good work gals. 🙂

WTD! I am 54 from UK and love FG and FGQFS! I grew up with ST the original series and was over the moon when ST TNG was produced and I am loving the tie in!
Whilst I can be as frustrated as the next person on drop rates, I really do think some people should chill out a bit:
1. Tinyco is a profit making business and freemium only game would soon put them out of business
2. Instant gratification may be the way of the world but do try and have some patience as the event lasts until end April
3. Running a website with so much negativity can be stresfull for B and A who do a magnificent job in the face of so much angst. One person quit posting helpful comments and left one of the rival sites due to criticism being directed at the moderators who were there to help. I always come here first to get the low down before starting off in the wrong direction. I dread to think how much real money B and A have spent helping US out. A huge thanks for all you do.
4. Remember employees of tinyco are also human and can make mistakes too. I for one have been impressed sinced since the start of this game about how much they do listen and adapt to customer comment. They will not get it right every time.
5. I have a busy job and do not have unlimted funds. I juggle both and have enormous fun whether hourly at weekends or twice a day during working week! Play as much as you need to, do not get so stressed and above all have fun it is only a game.

Call it what you will visual or not, I got 5 SF exp and saw the bar move. Earlier today I replicated the coffin ejector it said I got 800 exp. I saw it light up did not see it move, did not get any bam there it is 12 hours later. I even hit the damn button that shows all the bars and that didn’t move either. Where did those points go??????

From my only prior experience with IRL Star Trek, the event is consistent with that. It’s a money grabbing exercise here just as it was at the convention. I guess they can get away with it. These ST things are almost certainly run by ferengi, as I can’t see how else this is possible. It has nothing to do with LLAP unless that is Latinum Latinum Avoid Poor or some ferengi mantra 🙂

Hey..I have a good thing to report. I got “Skimpy Sarong Herbert” after only 2 trys using Peter, Chris and Deanna. It showed the odds as “unlikely”. Keep trying cause they do drop. 🙂

Its probably already being worked on but when do you think there will be a post on away team combos for ear pieces and batteries? I just sent off my second away team mission trying to get batteries but not holding my breath. The first mission resulted in 5 dilith crystals and xp. At least if i could get the rommy warbird or something. Just seems no matter the combo i cant get the ear pieces or battery meter that high.

Wtd they severely nerfed the romulan ale. I usually love these events, but TinyCo seems more efficient patching the tricks we use to try to keep up than patching the glitches or gameplay difficulty. Hope they adjust a little the required materials, before we all fall behind.

ALL RIGHT! I start getting more transporter energy, and I dont see thepoint in sending the crew on missions, with more than less likely to bring me something useful, I rather send them on 6 hours tasks to make phaser energy to get pointers or salt bags. Who needs crystals or xp at this point? (even so few xp that a simple character on a 4 hours task could do).
Also, Clicked on both rikers quarters, both crew quarters, bonnie for batteries, both rec rooms, bruce, joe, peter, mort, worf and I got nothing, but got 4 phaser energy from troi, geordi and both weapon lockers. But then, after destroying 7 targets (each time hitting the peter craft) within all four shots and only got xp and crystals. So what the deuce is going on with the drop rates? Its so frustrating!!!

I started playing after the Beta testing! I contribute to TinyCo employee’s wages! I started this event 10 days after it begun! Alot of Naysayers who love to whine are welcome to go elsewhere! This is a game! This site is for Optomistic People! I Believe in this staff and i believe in TinyCo! You get what you put in, so to you naysayers, i say put up or shutup! Take your whines to Facebook or play a different game!
Yes, i am struggling to catch up to Warp Core 3, but i know i will with perserverence! I did not care for Valentine event but i love this one!
I guess my only WTD is not using Stewart but for Tekai, he was in the original so i understand him not being used! This event is based on Next Generation not the original!

WTD! Why are all the same characters the ones used for all of the 5 different quests!?!? I get that its so people who are level 10 have just as much of a chance to get through the event as people who are level 50 but maybe don’t make the quest actions 12 hours or 1 day when we need them for materials!!
In better news I UNLOCKED TROI! woop without clams too or premium character. Just persevere. You’ll get there eventually.

WTD, I am done with this game….bad enough that they put engineering, sickbay and the bridge on the same deck, but having a door from the bridge to ten forward is just irresponsible….I’m done. 😉
In all seriousness, am finding low drops on the lazer pointers and Felicium….really hoping they add tasks for those. I also have to say the game has made me go back and watch some TNG episodes…

Some simple fixes to some of these issues…
First: If your drop rates are low, paint flames on your device. EVERYONE knows flames make everything go faster.
Second: When you run out of phaser energy, throw your device. EVERYONE knows you throw your weapon at someone when you run out of ammo.
Third: If you don’t speak English and are having a problem with chocolate, what Bunny is trying to say is “DOOONT SEEEEND PEEEEETEEEERRRRR!!!!!!!!!!” See? EVERYONE understands English if you yell it at them.
Lastly: If you can’t get TE, place your device in the microwave and turn it on. WOW! ENERGY GALORE!!!

WTD… the Bar used to drop 20 crystals in 2 hrs .. now is 20 hrs??? This Event is so full of inconsistencies and lies that is just disgusting. … Sure, another glitch. Now “glitch” is how they call their actions against players (the same as changing the hours to build rooms). The Theme could be nice, some animations and decorations could be great, but the entire planning and the way TC is acting, is just disrespectful. This is the first event that it has been clear that the point is to not let players move forward. If there is a way.. just block it. If players have a chance to get something twice a day.. let’s make it 100 needed… The only two characters that drop something, send them to 24hrs missions… it is just cynical.
The idea of “you have until april 30 to finish” is a scam. How could anyone that has not unlocked Troi and Klingon Chris, catch up with the new content in time for next thursday, and so on until the end of the event. Maybe they’ll unlock those two… but would they have time for the last part? That sounds like Stripper Bonnie all over again…
– I’m just sad that a game that I really used to love, has become some kind of carnival game, where you can’t get the prize. The blocks are bigger than the rings..

More than you could ever imagine… it’s not supposed to be easy, I agree, but at least it is supposed to be doable, and with all the last minute changes and “glitches” I sustain my point. I do not assume that you really care (although you already took a minute to post a reply, maybe you care; thanks for that) but I’ve been playing this one particularly since the beginning… I’ve seen so many rants and complaints since then (comicCon event, Kingdom of the full moon event, that first time Rupert appeared, Xmas and Jesus, etc), and I just keep playing; I have all that stuff.
I already have Troi and Klingon Chris since last week… So, It supposed to be challenging, yes, fun also, but this particular event has been quite annoying for me with those changes -rooms building hours and the bar- and with what I think (and for what I read, so many others think too) is a disproportion between drop rates and stuff quantities.
So, whether you like it or not, I used the WTD section to say it. The right place to do it. Thank you for choosing mine to post a reply.. but I’m sure it should be addressed to any other comment here about the same issue.

✨I agree it’s crazy how negativity is everywhere..like every single comment I’m reading and only just with a few select are positive. Sorry Bunny & Alissa you gotta deal with all that…I always tell myself instead of responding to a very mean comment, “People will never be satisfied for whatever else TinyCo., changes/fixes in the game and what not…” 😔

What is with the horible drop rate on the teleprorter. I am lucky and got troi but can’t get any ear piece things for lois. None of the characters move it at all.

✨I really don’t have a bad or MADD WTD this week HAA imagine that!!..
Honestly, idk what everyone is getting frustrated over!!..Drops in my game are going pretty damn good and almost PERFECT!. Rooms that are dropping Transporter AND Phaser Energy are dropping pretty good!. I can say that I’m very close to unlocking Deanna and I know for a fact it’s gonna be done soon. What I’m doing is instead of just saving up to the 6 Transporter then automatically going on an away mission, I can finally just let the count go up a bit and THEN make characters go away to get the chocolate bars.
Overall: I’m doing pretty GREAT so far and with NO USE OF CLAMS EITHER. Sooo….
To anybody DOUBTING and saying to do complete this with “only clams” again…. NO this is ALL TOTALLY POSSIBLE WITHOUT BEING A PREMIUM PLAYA 😉😛

I finally got everything for Klingon Chris but every time I go to get him my game crashes because apparently he doesn’t exist and the game can’t teamsfer him. WTF?

WTD? I don’t mind a screen pop to try to get me to buy the starfleet academy, but does it drop dilithium like it says in the text block, or phaser energy as pictured? A small error I’m sure but still. I guess the plan may be for Locutus (sp) to take awhile to unlock if one of the actions is for Vulcan quagmire who is not even available until the next warp core upgrade. And while I am ranting…I get that Patrick Stewart is a person and may not fit this event, but why not skin him as Picard if you have him? I may not be enough of a Trekkie to know, but perhaps the will be a quest to un-borg the captain. Its gotta be right? I mean what would kirk do with Picard’s fishbowl? Would Locutus do with it? Rant over. I feel better, I still live this game, but just the same, sometimes I gotta WTD?

I’ve been a long time Star Trek fan and I am enjoying this event.
I’ve always read the FGTQFS helpful hints and the videos that KC has on you tube and I really appreciate all that you all do.
I finally made my first real money purchase because I just had to get Worf and Guinan but I am just a little frustrated that the drops for chocolate and the blue energy ball are terrible.
I only have four chocolates and still don’t have Klin ghost on chris or Troi and my game has crashed five times today.

I have 100+ life support energy, 47 synthesiser ore’s and 31 transporter energy. (I’m holding off on sending my guys to the new planets n jus gettin batteries from bonnie and ear pieces from Joe n bruce)
I’m 100% freemium, I’ve not spent a penny n my clam count has actually risen by nearly a 100!!!
Tho I lost my job a few weeks ago, so I’ve been putting more time into this event than the previous ones, but still no clams n no speeding up tasks
So for all u negative whiners stating it’s impossible without throwing money at it….

There are many people who play fairly and have ‘crazy’ amounts of stuff. Many are experienced players, who take the time to read all the posts thoroughly, as well as the comment sections for tips and blunders. Some have more time than others, some have better time management skills, some are better at planning ahead, some use better stradegy, some have just had better luck. There are lots of reasons why some are struggling less than others, but whatever the case may be there is NO need to rude to other players just because they are not having the same experience as you may be having. This is NOT that type of forum. This one where we try to support, encourage and help each other out!

I’ve played this game since the beginning and loved it. I still do. Even working a full-time job I still manage to log on at least 4 times a day (at random times). I’ve never disliked an event and always managed to get to the level and characters I’ve wanted, thanks to TinyCo and this site. The one thing I’ve learn from this Star Trek event is that I’m not going to get all the freemium characters and costumes, even with logging in at least 4 times daily. Having done that I’m still barely halfway through Starfleet level 3 and slowly getting there with Troi and Klingon Chris. That’s fine though, all it means is that I now recognise that, if I’m not willing to shell out clams then I’ll get what I get in the end. After all, it is a business and who can blame them for wanting the money! It’s just a shame that a game I used to play religiously, and drop the occasional money on for clams, has now become a lot less of a priority for me due to one event. Anyway, happy gaming everyone.

This is my exact thought! Played from beginning. Login 4 to 5 times a day and enjoyed it. This event is just not enjoyable. I normally don’t complain about this game and enjoy it, but this event is set to too high a bar with things like 35 rare collects and minimal drop rates. They even take away any found advantages (room changing and the Klingon ale bar). It has some good points, fun interface and tribble popping; but easily my least favorite event. Looking forward to see the next event.

Just got him by sending Troi alone to Cespoolus. ALL his tasks drop Dilithium and Starfleet XP. 2 are visual tasks. Nothing shows Material drops as of yet. Looks like he also has a questline. 😉

I think it’s ironic I’m having differculty getting chocolate around Easter. I’m not exactly sure I’m on target and I wish I knew what to prioritise but I do love the Star Trek theme. I’m just really hoping tinyco has a plan that doesn’t involve clams. I did have a brief moment of excitement right after the update when several transporter energy dropped at once and I thought it had become 100% drop it hasn’t though the drop rate seems to have increased. My main problem is the Borg (I love the fact that I’m typing that sentence). I wish they would go away until I can do something with them they are interfering with tribble tapping and I want the geeks back.

As you can see…TinyCo can change ANYTHING at a drop of a hat. Including NOT releasing planned items into the game or changing their appearance completely. We’ve already seen it several times in just these few Phase releases. We prefer to not only provide accurate information, but detailed info on how it impacts the game. So I never trust sources outside TinyCo.

Right now, no matter what I do, no matter what I post… the negative keeps seeping in. Even when I ask to NOT use the post. I may have to start trashing comments. As much as it kills me to do so, but this is why we made THESE posts. For the negative to stay. It is breeding all over and it makes us feel like it is almost pointless to post any good detailed info because it will just be overtaken again and again. Makes me sad. 😦

I second that… There have been plenty of occasions when I’ve been frustrated with the game (including this event) but I’ve kept those feelings to myself. If I’ve ever had what I thought was a legitimate grievance, I’ve notified TinyCo directly, not here where the main point is to either gain useful info, or to help others. Venting one’s frustration at the two girls that run this site is pointless & cruel. Bunny & Alissa provide a valuable service at their own psychological & monetary expense (even when they’re unwell!) & shouldn’t have to suffer unwarranted negativity & spite.
May you both have a great Easter & hope you realise for every ranting moron who has to be moderated into oblivion, there’s ten of us that love you & all the work & effort you provide us free of charge!
I’m mostly a lurker on this site & generally stay silent. I expect many others do the same, yet feel likewise.

love what you do here, my son got me into playing ‘fgtqfs’ about halfway through the Halloween event and shortly after that I found your site and you have been absolutely invaluable! My son no longer plays (he is 15 and has way more important stuff to worry about! Lol) but thanks to you I am still well and truly hooked!

Don’t let the negativity get you down. I’ve been noticing it, the nay sayers) more and more lately as well. Mainly w the event. I think that people just expect results, without having to play the actual game, and that some may not understand the inner-workings of gaming. Like the programming. So much programming. They also don’t realIze that a free game does have in game expenses.. And perks.. That cost money💴💵💷💶💳. Even COD, you pay for the game, and you still have to buy maps and all that bs. On Xbox🎮 there’s a monthly fee to play online LOL. (I don’t know if it’s required per Microsoft/Xbox, but my ex had his on auto debit from his checking acct, and overdrew quite a few times. So he paid an extra $35 w that Xbox fee LMAO). People don’t take any of this into acct I feel. So maybe trashing comments is better than letting them affect the gaming experience. Especially yours and Alissa’s. You ladies work VERY hard to run this site, you don’t deserve any of that crap. Redirect them to facebook if they continue to have such a vulgar attitude. Or, lol, threaten them w the wrath of The Bunny! You know what I’m talkin about!!
Seriously girl, don’t let them get to you, it’s like a jungle out there. Survival of the fittest. And remember, you’re at the top of the food chain 😉

Bunny, I feel for you that you hate throwing away people’s posts when they are negative. It shows your kind nature. Unfortunately many adults are behaving like children by not listening to the guidelines. This site is done out of fun and love of the game. If I’m wrong I apologize. You’ve asked for very simple things in those guidelines, no abuse, show respect, etc. Very simple things. Not keeping the negative comments in the appropriate threads is disrespectful. You having to read so much of it is abuse. As a parent, if the guidelines that we have in our house which keep things peaceful are broken, I don’t let anything slide. My kids learn real quick and change it. Well this is your house, if negative responses are ruining your peace, don’t let them through. Those negative people will learn to put their thoughts in the places you’ve asked. Not everywhere. It is just disrespectful and you don’t deserve it. The majority of the people really appreciate what you both do and would hate to think that ugly could win in anyway.
