Star Trek Character Profile/ SIB: Worf, Guinan, & Q

Hello There Space Clammers!

Star Trek has taken over Quahog!  A Starfleet Shuttle has conveniently crashed in Quahog and apparently someone decided that the future of the Galaxy should rest on Peter’s shoulders.  (cause that sounds like a smart idea!)  It’s your mission to help Peter save the Galaxy, after all it’d be a pretty boring game if he did it by himself!

Along the way you’ll unlock skins/costumes for your favorite residents of Quahog…and Meg!  These costumes will help you earn items needed to unlock other characters and more Dilithium Crystals, the much needed event currency for this event!

So far in the Event, we have had 3 additional PREMIUM Characters drop on in. Here is some information on them. They all have fabulous things going on with their heads. Lol.

WorfGuinanQ

Want some idea just how these Characters will play into your game? If they’re worth your Clams? Here are some of the main points I saw.

Let’s take a look at each of the 3 Characters and just what they can add to our games. In order to see them, you will need to at least make it to An Officer and an Idiot Part 6.

Worf Klingon Week

Worf does have a short questline associated with Bat’Leth Out of Hell questline…and you can view more details on it here…however, his primary role is to help you earn more Dilithium Crystals and help you earn items to unlock more characters!

For me, having Worf has been a great help. From earning items for Klingon Chris and now Dr. Crusher, to the Energy Drops, to Clearing Borg. I have enjoyed him a lot.

Here are some of the Phrases he says (yes it IS him) …

“I do NOT always drink juice, but when I do… I drink Prune Juice… A Warriors Juice”
“Do I look like a guy you should be poking?”
“Perhaps today IS a good day to die”
“Klingons never bluff”
“Bow to the Brow”
“Do not test my patience. I can be a real Meanie-Bo-Beanie in the morning”
“AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAHHHHHHhhhhh!! That is how a Klingon lures a mate”
“My head is ribbed, for your pleasure”
“I have the most Space Muscles”
“I MUST PROTEST! MY HEAD DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A FANNY!!”

Guinan does have a short questline associated with Guinan’s Guide to the Galaxy questline… and you can view more details on it here… however, her primary role is to help you earn more Dilithium Crystals and help you earn items to unlock more characters!  You Got Guinan

Guinan has been great to have. Her tasks make me giggle a lot. But what she says even more so. With her ALWAYS drops on Energy, I am stocking up a lot faster.

Here are some of the Phrases she says (yes it IS her)…
“They call me MISS Shuttlehead”
“It has been hundreds of years, but THIS hat… hmmph… has remained fashionable”
“I loooove me a Bald Man”
“It’s not polite to ask a woman her age”
“Sounds simple enough”
“I’ve only been married 23 times. Almost as many as Elizabeth Taylor”
“I’d have a happy hour, but I can’t figure out this whole Star Date thing”
“What’ll YOU have?”
“Heeeeeeeeey quit poking me. I have enough kids as it is!”

QQ MenuQ: 200 Clams

Q on the Loose

Q does have a short questline associated with him Q! That’s Who!… and you can view more details on it here however, his primary role is to help you earn more Dilithium Crystals and help you earn items to unlock more characters!

You Got Q

Here’s a look at Q’s tasks:

Note: Drops are as of the Warp Core 4 Phase.  They may change as the game progresses further. We’ll try to update as we can…

Q Judge Red Shirt Cadets Q Pass Judgement Q Summon Mariachi

Q is probably one of my favorite “side” Characters in Star Trek: The Next Generation. His tasks are classic things you would see Q do. I have not had him too long, but he already is helping out to get Vulcan Quagmire a LOT. Not to mention getting him also got me Klingon Meg.

Here are some of the Phrases he says (yes it IS him) …
“I’ve been single for BILLIONS of years”
“I shall be humanities Judge, as well as the Judge for the next Season of the Voice”
“Human Beings are the stupidest creatures in the Galaxy, however they are the most delicious”
“One Creatures torment is another Creatures delight”
“UUUUgghhhhooooooh, hooow boring”
“I’m just one of the boys, with an IQ of 2,095”
“I only get along with people with ONE Letter names. Mr. T is my homeboy”
“Heyyyy!… Don’t mess with me!… I’m in My Little Pony”
“Jean Luc and I are actually Beer Pong Partners”

All 3 Characters are now part of the Outer Space Weirdos Character Collection in your FaceSpace. 10 Clams Reward for completing it.

Outer Space Weirdos

I for one have been very happy with purchasing all 3 of these Characters. End of the day though, the choice always has been and always will be YOURS. It is up to you to decide if these Characters are worth it to YOU. Will you still be happy with them 3 months from now?

What do you think of the Characters? Have any Favorites? Any Certain tasks that you enjoy seeing the most? Where are they most helpful to you? Any favorite Phrases they say? Let us know.

  1. “No ID, no problem! I’m a cool bartender.”

I’ve heard that one a lot. Now I’ll have to just keep taping until I hear the others.
    Thanks for the post.

  3. Besides being really disappointed about how complicated the entire event has been, if I pay extra for premium characters I don’t think they should distract from the basics of the game. Why do they have quest lines at all?!? I paid for them and they just confuse me.

I have Q, Guinan, Worf and Meg and all of them have separate quest lines. It took me forever to figure out (from this blog and not the help) that I wasn’t seeing Borg because I hadn’t finished Troi’s quest line. I love the animations and jokes around the characters and skins but I’m halfway through the event, at XP 8, bought ALL the premium characters, have sped tasks up and hit a mystery box once or twice and still have not unlocked either Crusher or Vulcan Quagmire and am just thinking, the last thing I needed was ANOTHER quest line. Especially one involving Riker since he’s in EVERYTHING.

Otherwise, all the extra characters were nice additions and some of the jokes were really awesome Trekker jokes. Just wish this were a longer event or they would make it less complicated. Kind of makes me regret getting the cool premium characters but that may just be fatigue from the event. I’ll probably keep most of the characters doing something after the event the same way I always have Alien and Predator playing Fetch.

Oh! The one thing they could do to get me to probably go bonkers and buy something else now would be to put in Tasha Yar. I have Armus so it would be too cool to have Yar, too.

    • This is what makes me giggle. In the past, those getting Premiums stated that they SHOULD get a questline due to they are paying for them. 😉

I honestly think it really varies on what else is going on at the time. If you are busy… it just adds to the workload. If you are not busy, you are bored and want something to fill the time. 😉

We are in a busy event, so I see people NOT wanting them. Lol. But you honestly do not have to do them if you do not want to. They do have some funny dialog, but it is up to you to proceed with them.

      Like

      • Point well taken. Maybe if the quest lines helped with the complications in such a busy event it would be better because there were some snort-inducing speech balloons on a few of them that were great.

At the very least, it’s good to remind me that I don’t have to complete their quest lines … so Q can keep helping red shirts or summoning Mariachi bands for now and there is no way Lois will Lead Cadets for Klingon Meg until I have Crusher unlocked!

  4. Well, I for one wish they hadn’t made getting Meg this way the only way. I couldn’t afford all three. :(. However, I was wondering if others were having trouble with item drops on away missions? Even when I have the mission fully loade, I am only getting Xp and dilithrium.

    Like

    • My away mission drop rates have been all over the place. I have sent a fully loaded mission off twice and not gotten the items need for unlocking and then sent a single character and gotten either items I needed or a bonus item. It seems like lately I haven’t gotten any items, though. Probably not in the past 2 days or so it seems.

  5. 99% certain I didn’t get the Outer Space Weirdos bonus – especially as I remember noticing the characters had vanished from FaceSpace when I bought Q. Have messaged TinyCo to see what they say 🙂

  6. Bought all 3 premium characters even though I haven’t watched a single TNG episode (more of a Star Wars fan here :D) but having these characters in my Quahog now makes me want to binge watch the TNG series on Netflix soon.

  8. Just have to say they have all been helpful even before the always drop. Word has been clearing borgs since they entered, guinan keeps the phasers armed and q has been amazingly essential in getting Vulcan quags, of course meg is helping with crystal collecting. If there were even an event to go premium this is it. Wish the collection was worth more than 10 clams, but must say tribbles have been dropping clams left and right.

    • Many got them so fast they never noticed. It was right round Klingon Meg event. So many thought they came with her or had just bought the other 3 so didn’t even notice the change as they just dropped 200 to 800 clams

  11. My *favorite* part is how the phaser fire lags so often that I end up missing the petercrafts and wasting the 6 hours it took to get the phaser crystals. I play with my new nexus 6 on wifi, so I can’t see it being a connection thing. – Game also gets laggy with tribbles.

  12. I bought them all and they have helped. The only thing I don’t like is the long tasks for their quest lines, Worf still has his 24 hour task for polishing his sash, there was no way I was missing out on a day of much needed drops to do it though it should be better now that drop rates have improved. Maybe I’ll get them done in the next couple of weeks.

  18. There are some quotes I’ve heard that are left off of this list:

Worf – “The truth is, I do not know how to speak Klingon. It is actually Hebrew.” / “No, I am not constantly surprised. My eyebrows just look like that.”

Guinan – “Quit doing sexy pottery and listen to me!”

Q – “You know the guy who makes the gadgets for James Bond? He’s my brother!”

Also, most of these quotes for Worf, I have never heard. I wonder why that is? I’ve bought him as soon as the option popped up about 2 weeks ago. Also, having these have been super useful. Guinan has been on Phaser Energy duty since day 1, and I have been switching up Q between condoms and books. Worf has been my best supplier of hyposprays this week too. I’m collecting all of Beverly’s items so much faster than Locutus, or even Troi.

    • Like they say… “Some” of their quotes. They trigger different for everyone. These are all the ones I heard. I knew there’s more, just didn’t get the verification back on a few by post time 😉

Just keep tapping and they’ll eventually cycle around.

“I don’t only run the ship’s bar, I also run it’s AA meetings.”

“How about some boundless wisdom with your scotch?”

I just love me some Guinan…

  20. This was the first event that actually made me drop real money for premium characters. To this point I’ve been able to just save up clams from game rewards, but when it came to crunch time I finally shelled out 10 dollars in amazon credit to buy some clams so I could get in on the free Klingon meg costume.

I wish I had saved my amazon coins and google play credits up and not wasted them on other things (ironically the Guardians of the Galaxy game and the first Star Trek reboot movie). That could have been 10 more dollars of clams!

    • A lil Should I Buy tossed in it.

The quotes randomly pop up. Sometimes it takes a lot of taps over a few days for them all to trigger. Everyone gets them. Just gotta wait til they trigger. That and if you just tap tap tap … you’ll override it at times

  22. I (reluctantly) bought Q specifically for the condoms and he is kinda helping. But then I realized that the hyposprays were my biggest issue, because I will eventually get the condoms sooner from shielded petercraft (was 100% successful getting 17 condoms with 34 energy by using the tip to get the fire button on the left, ty!) so need only 6 more. Quags is in sight finally! And he will help me get the rest of the hyposprays without spending 260 clams on Worf to help Deanna clear borgs.

Glad I finally figured out this strategy for my game. Whew!

  23. Hi I’m back. Was gone since valentines day. Stopped gameing to make my wife happy. Came back on the 12th of this month so only got half as much time to unlock everything before time runs out. So I of course immediately spent my clams on all 3 of these characters to help me complete this event quicker. I currently am warp core lv2 will b lv3 tomorrow. From my experience Q n klingon meg have done nothing beneficial except for amusement. Guinan always drops her energy and word is awesome as well but sometimes he don’t drop. I’m very happy spending my clams. Just hope Klingon meg will actually help at some point.

  24. I don’t know why I bought Q. I always found John De Lancie annoying as Q and felt his shows were a little like having Trelane from TOS popping in periodically. I know Q is supposed to be this hyper-dimensional being, so I get the arrogance but it just wore thin on me after a while. I just wish they got him out of his judging garb in game for some tasks as he seemed to prefer Starfleet Captain’s attire in most encounters.

    Like

    • Funny you mention Trelane in this context… In the book “Q Squared” by Peter David, Trelane is revealed to be a Q and tries to unravel the fabric of the multiverse, so Picard and (normal) Q have to work together to stop him. If you haven’t read it, its a fantastic book.

  25. I also brought all 3 premium characters, what do u think will happen when the event comes to an end? With the indoor missions? Any ideas?

    Like

  26. they are definitely worth getting for the “complete the cast” sorta thing but also as mentioned, they all help in gaining items to unlock people/costumes. its definitely a steep price since all 3 cost you nearly 1000 clams but if you’re at the point of playing premium then its not that big an issue. i was a freemium player until the last Halloween event when they introduced Freddy, Jason, Alien and Predator..had to have em!

but even if i hadn’t then, i imagine i would have given in with this event to get those three. its definitely helped my game immensely and just made it more fun. and of course we get the bonus of Klingon Meg by getting all three so that was fun….although she doesn’t seem to be useful as of yet!!

    Like

  27. I totally agree. These 3 characters were a huge help to me. Especially Guinan with duct tape and phaser energy. Worf had been a huge help unlocking other characters too. All 3 helping obtain other characters plus getting you a free Klingon Meg was well worth it to me

  28. I love getting premium characters. I had to get all 3 because the completionest in me wanted Klingon Meg also.

  29. I couldn’t care less about these characters. I’m not a Trekkie and know basically nothing about them, much less have any attachment to them. I find them ridiculously expensive as the key to Meg’s costume, knowing they’ll soon end up as useless as the previous premium characters in the game. With all the frustration surrounding the almost impossible and convoluted, multi-randomized way to get Vulcan Quagmire without any expensive premium purchase, I’ve lost interest. I’m just playing along, but no longer dedicated and working towards goals. They’ve really ruined the fun and entertaining part with the event design. I already have a job, I really don’t need a second grindstone.

    • Why does everybody act like it is impossible to get the space condoms?
We got four free characters that drops phaser energy every sixth hour, plus two rooms.
Lets say that we only use three of them, three times per day. That is 9 phaser energy per day. Lets say that we get a phaser energy per day from the rooms as well, which gives us 10 phaser energy per day.
Since we need two to get a space condom, we get 5 space condoms per day.
9 days gives us 45 space condoms, and we only need 42.
We got more than two weeks left of the event.
And it goes faster with more micromanagement.
Space condoms are not the big impossible task that some seems to believe.

      • Agreed! I’m usually a premium player and have got just under 500 clams burning a hole in my pocket but I haven’t spent a penny on this event as I don’t like Star Trek but have managed to unlock everything so far just about, only a few condoms away from Quagmire and 2 jabby things(forgot their name) for that new doctor lady..Should have both by tomorrow and this is by not spending any clams! It all can be done freemium at the minute so keep the faith people!

      • That math would work if PE drops were 100% and even if you had all possible PE of a day wouldn’t be screwed by lagging firing response. I had 13 PE today and netted only 4 condoms with extreme care and waiting for ideal movements.
