Side Note: as this was a GAME WIDE Patch, some of the counts may be off due to they had to add it all across the board (and not one by one), for some of you… BONUS!… you may now have more than you did. For anyone else, please alert them ASAP if you now have less then you did when they disappeared. Tech is on alert to watch for those messages.
UPDATE BUNNY 7/3 345PM EST: Patch is still in progress but hopefully out soon. Hang in there. Help IS coming for the missing Diabeto, Cleveland Jr, and Mr Washee Washee. No more need to message in as the patch is coming. 🙂
UPDATE BUNNY 1230AM EST: Per TinyCo, a patch is in the works on the missing Characters. Please let us know when you got them back after it hits. (Not sure on Patch time frame just yet, just that they are working on it.) They are hoping for tonight, so… looks like another late night here. Bit more to it then they wanted, looking more for tomorrow for the patch. They want to ensure it will correct the issue for all. 😉
For those of you experiencing a Config Error… this is what info we see from TinyCo…
Those Config validation errors have been on our radar for some time, and unfortunately have a couple of different causes. One cause we managed to discover was that certain internet providers (like Sprint and Vodafone) were blocking our connections due to the game being tagged as “mature content” or “malware.” Players can try turning off parental controls or other protection programs to see if that helps.
A Couple of IMPORTANT Notes:
You NEED to be on the 1.9.7 Upgrade for Week 5, so if you didn’t download it make sure you do.
-There are reports of crashing after updating. If this happens to you, contact TinyCo. (they are aware, but more reports help)
-We are aware that many players are reporting Mr Washee Washee & Cleveland Jr are missing. We reported it from our side, please report it also from your game. Will update once we hear anything more on it No more need to write in, they’re working on it. 🙂
-If you’re having crashing issues when trying to upgrade the Mansion…contact TinyCo.

Well…the final week of the Mob Event is here, so hurry into your Tiny Quahogs and load it up! It’s time to upgrade the Fatfather’s Compound and see what’s in store for us this week…
As always we’ll be back with more details as soon as we go through them…
For now know that you should have completed Law of the Land Pt. 9 in order to upgrade the Mansion (At least that’s how it should work, if you haven’t completed it and can still upgrade please let us know..)
You will need to go to your mansion and upgrade before you see anything else appear…

Hotel D’Italia- 750 
, 4hr Build. Earns 20 , 4 
/12hrs
Mama’s Italian Restaurant- 500 , 2hr Build. Earns 10 , 2/8hrs. Chance to drop Glittery Lip Gloss (for Bonnie)
Taste of Italy’s Meats- 400 . 2hr Build…Something’s up with this one in the menu…so not sure what’s going on with it
Yummy Hour Donuts- 150 
. Earns 5 , 1/4hrs. Always drops Powdered Donuts needed for Cop Goons (more on that later)
Italian Vineyard Estate- 100 . Earns 10 , 2 /8hrs. Always drops Glittery Lip Gloss or Mini Dresses for Bonnie.

Pampered Persian Cat- 15
Shady RV– 500 (If you have them all… this will bring your Total CAPACITY to 18, including the Clam one. Or to 15 without the Clam one.) So that is 4 Total Cookie Trailers for +3 Capacity Each & the Optional 1 Clam Trailer for +3 Capacity… then the Original 3 Capacity you start with.

You can unlock by completing the quest “Beginning of the End,” you’ll win Detective Scrotes as a playable character! (You will first have to complete Family Betrayal Part 1 to trigger it)

You guys should know the drill with these by now…Complete the obstacles, earn Rep…beat it 3 times to win a prize.
Boss Fight
You had to know it was coming…it wouldn’t be a TinyCo Event without a Boss Fight….
This one’s a little different…this is similar to Fort Nox. Send Goons to defeat Don Corelone. You’ll have 24hrs to continue the streak…each time you defeat him the amount/type of goon will change. You’ll have 24hrs to defeat him and continue the streak. If you don’t the streak will reset back to 0.
The more you defeat him the higher the rewards….
You’ll find Don to defeat in the Event Area…
FYI… this WILL vary for every single player. Bunny (me) Started with 7 Wiseguys needed. So just follow what YOUR game asks for.

They always drop from tasks..
The bad news? It takes and hour and a half to create each cop.
You’ll use the cops for various things including…taking down Cookie Fiends! (big guys on the electric scooters) 1 Cop to take one down.
The Dirty Cop does damage of 30 on Fort Nox and a Payout of +40 Mob Rep.

Update Bunny: The Final Countdown to me looks again like another “Alternate” Questline. One that will give you a boost on your Mob Rep, but really needs to be kept as a “Side” option unless you have the extra time and items needed.

Family Guy Addicts 
Never had this many bugs in an event. Game crashed for 4 days, unlocked kingpin consula but never received the skin, can’t unlock ultimate mansion even though completed the required quest line days ago, I keep loosing goons after sending them to complete a task and game crashes…
I contacted support but none of my issues have been resolved. I even purchased $30 worth of clams in the beginning of the event and still haven’t been able to even start week 5 content.
I with they’d at least extend it for a few days, to let some of us who have experienced many bugs, complete the content.

So, I got mob rep for all individual prizes 19,500.
Used 100 clams (all free thanks to mort)
Bonnie is looking bleak and probably not going to get her , got ms Loise ,
And triciA all im missing is cookies but , I’ll need 15,000 worth of cookies.
I’m 39,000 on the board so, that tells me roughly 25,000 players are dropping good cash on this and I would not want an extensions and I’m saying this as a free player…
Think about it like this – if 25,000 people were to spend 10.00 a day is 250,000 a day … Why would they not want to cater to the people that pay their pay checks .
I also haven’t been able to finish a full mission since Halloween missions

My game kept crashing constantly I tried my best and even bought plenty of clam packages just to unlock detective scrouts now the game will end and won’t have a chance to get him what a bummer I won’t spend clams like the kool-aid to get him cause he was free but the game was so frustrating cause of he constant crash……. I probably won’t play for about 2 months just to get this off my system I was even risking my job just to get a couple of jobs done I am spent man peace out, I still can’t believe I risk my job man I got 2 young mouths to feed Wow.. what a looser

I’m a little disappointed with this event. I’ve logged on 3 to 4x a day sometimes more sometimes less and I still have ages of quests to go through. Not enough rep for the final item of Consuela, been checking every 4 hours or so based on build times of goons. I haven’t spent any $$ on this event other than the clams they gave me.
I just feel they didn’t allow enough time, especially with the disappearing characters, that set me back 2 days of gathering.

Can the clammers get a go tinyco. If you make an event (great event by the way) full of glitches it would be nice to extend the event so that your loyal followers don’t lose their duece. I do enjoy fgtqfs. I can’t wait to see what tinyco comes up with next. A little more time would be appreciated. Keep up the great work.

Any idea how may parts there are to “The Final Countdown”? I’m done with all other tasks and am on part 3 right now… Need a few more doughnuts and Scrotes has a24 hour task… Hoping to not have to waste more clams to finish everything before the end.

Is there any update on the Washee Washee Character Disappearance, then reappearance issue from which we’ve previously posted (with replies to look on -this- thread for assistance)? I only needed cookies to unlock him before he disappeared, but when he reappeared, I had to get shirts, photos, cookies, and so on instead. I’ve messaged them via the in-game system on both iOS and on Android regarding this topic frequently, yet it is still not back to where it was before.
By chance, do you know how often they check the messaging queue for fixing these sorts of glitches, as I’d like to move onward to week 4’s content but still cannot do so.

I have not heard more back on it. Sorry. All the other glitches locking players out are flooding their message system causing mass backlogs. So I don’t know outside their normal 3-5 day response time.

I never got the hang of this event, sadly. I really like the whole Mafia-theme, but despite playing several hours every day, I’m somehow missing out everything. How do people get so many mob-points, and even more, how do you get enough donuts? Tricia costs 20k donuts, I’ve never had more than 5k, and at the moment I am on a little under 3k – is this an event for premium players only? It appears impossible for me to get the freemium stuff without paying anyways.

The Gurl Scout Cookies are one of the things you have to work for. Questline completions. Raids on Event areas. Take down Fort Nox, and in Week 5 take down the Don.

Yes it has.
You will need to take out the Don 3 x.
you will also need mob girl tricia to do a 16 hour quest and mob wife lois to shop for shoes or something like that.
If your streak is on x5 you will probably not be able to complete the don quest as it takes 12 plus hours to train 15 of a specific goon with out using clams.
I know im pretty po’ed about that, fortunately i activated the quest right before i killed him once.
So if possible i guess you should let your timers reset so you wont have to hire so many goons.

Do you think they can extend this event a week like they did for Star Trek to give everyone a chance to catch up at least to somewhere in Week 5? It is not really fair to everyone, there are so many of us that had problems, or are still having them which are not our fault and beyond our control? This is going to turn a lot of people off from events.

I never recovered from trying to get tubas. This is the first event i havent and will not be able to finish properly. Pretty mich killed the game for me and will stop playing or at least play as much. Got a few premium characters during the event tooo. Tyson and Mr Miagi.

I just got to part 3. You need to:
1) Get to the Max Streak on the Italian Villa Map
2) Have Detective Scrotes go on a Stakeout (24 hours)
3) Take down 12 Cookie Fiends.
Thankfully, you have to take down 8 fiends to begin going through the maze again…

Is anyone else still experiencing crashing when trying to upgrade the mansion? I had been at pt 10 for a while when I downloaded the update. Tapping the icon still kicks me out of the game. I have not read anything more about TinyCo fixing this other than the patch for the missing characters. Week 5 looks wonderful, but it is now 2 days on and I am locked out yet again. Please help me as they have not responded to any of my in-game messages, and I fear I will not be able to finish the event at all! Is there anything else I can do??

I have contacted tiny co and not heard anything.it is frustrating because like other people I have spent money on clams for this event, I have bought the premium characters and now in the final week I have been locked out

I am also still having this issue. I worked very hard to be ready to upgrade as soon as the update would be ready last Thursday. Instead I feel like I am on the sidelines while most others are happily playing week 5 and advancing through the leaderboard. All I can do is work on the alternate quests and wait. I sure hope that TinyCo is able to resolve this quickly and then find a way to compensate those affected or somehow level the playing field.

I must be about a week behind despite dipping in every day. Week 5 for me will be irrelevant. Cone entreating on getting gloves for Cleveland and I’m very annoyed that I have everything but the ludicrously high cookie count for Tricia.

Don’t feel bad… I’m in the game literally about every 2 hours or so when I’m awake… And I still haven’t gotten to week 5…. I’m almost on the leaderboards in the zoot suit Stewie + Don Corlione area, but still haven’t gotten to the update due to all the BS required to deal with the eagle and getting mob wife Lois… I’m guessing much like the Star Trek event, there will be an additional week… We shall have to see though!!

Has anyone had any progress with the config crash on load issue? I’ve contacted tinyco with no response. I’ve been locked out of my game and missing out on key elements and sacrificing my silver level ranking. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled to no success.

I sincerely hope that TinyCo stops doing events until a) they are able to sort out their crashing issues, their organization issues, drop rate issues, all around incompetence issues and/or b) fires their staff and replaces them with competent people who are capable of developing the game properly. I didnt think you could have a bigger disaster than the Star Trek event but then these imbeciles surprised me with this event. Kudos to them.

Just wondering if you guys had any insight on a problem I am having with my game. When trying to open it I cannot get past a Consuela pop up saying…
“Attempting to load a streak requirement that is no longer in config”
The only thing I can think of is that “streak” applies to the Don battles. I got in the game fine this morning, finished the x3 attack and them came back 4 hours later to start the x4 battle but that is when I could not get back in. Maybe it WAS going to ask me to do a set of goons Tiny Co changed their mind about including in the battles but there is still some sort of leftover code for that goon combo/requirement. Idk.
Anyway, I tried restarting/uninstalling and all that. But still the same message. I messaged support through the button on the Consuela pop up. Hopefully it is a quick fix for them but i am pretty worried because support is sooooo backed up with so many other issues, especially with the characters disappearing problem from Thursday.
I have spent ALOT of clams on this event and I was perfectly set up to earn one of the top 4 leaderboard prizes. Ugh 😦

It’s going around unfortunately. Best thing I can tell you to do is try and uninstall/reinstall. Clear your cache inbetween and restart your device. If that doesn’t work, contacting TinyCo is the only other option.

The Tommy Gun goons seem to have been just about a complete waste of space.
So far I don’t recall anything that they’ve been used for (well maybe it’s my memory, there was something but I forget), since then they’ve done nothing but help with Nox, but that doesn’t help with questlines.
Maybe we’ll use them for attacks on the Don.

Probably not, since the only way to get the tommy gun goons is to buy Mr. Miyagi with clams. They’re not going to use a goon inaccessible to freemium players in the Don attacks. Premium characters are generally only used as one among several who can do tasks to collect essential things. An exception might be questlines obviously specifically for a premium character, optional in the game.

Nooooooo. I have got an error. Never had a problem before. Saying load error trying to load streak requirement that is no longer in config ????? Please help. I sent them the email it tells you to when you hit the help button but it’s the weekend. I can’t handle being stuck out of my game for 2 days. I will never be able to catch up. I was on the 4th don streak as well. Will not be happy if I have to start all over.

Try uninstall/reinstall. Clear the cache in between and restart your phone. Beyond that contacting them is the only other option.

Thanks I tried that but it didn’t work. I’m giving up. Hopefully Monday that will sort it out. Seem to be a pattern where I have read other comments it happened to me when I got past the 3rd attack on don. Went to go on 4 hours later and that’s when my error message came up. I just hope I get all the freemium characters before its up. I’m also crossing my fingers that we get a week extension just like on the Star Trek event
