Quahog has gone gangster and brought us an offer we can’t refuse! As Don Corleone has decided to setup shop for his counterfeit cookie operation right in Quahog…and he’s enlisted Peter’s help!
As you progress along in the Event, you will be able to earn additional Character Costumes and unlock their Questlines. Like Detective Scrotes.

I sent Tiny Co a message about it but I figured I would let you ladies know about it as well. Since the monster event has ended, one of the missions I still have is for Scrotes McGoats. I am on Scrotes McGoats pt4 and I don’t have the action available for cop Joe to play good cop. Very weird. I am imagining this is an issue with the fact that it is a remaining questline from the mobster event and is possibly a glitch.

Got scrotes on the last day and now event is over but quest line is still available but one of his quests involving cop joe is play good cop but it isn’t on my task list. Any ideas?

I’m still confused. To get Scrotes I need to defeat the Don correct?. Meaning get to 5X. my fourth and fifth was 15 luchdores each, did both and finished the task at 2:15 7/9 (using a few clams)… but did not get him. Am I missing something? Texted TinyCo at 2:40 cause of course, some one from church had to drop by for a quick visit, so was a bit delayed getting text out.LOL.

You needed to trigger his Questline… THEN defeat the Don.

I’m ranked 18,000 in the game and didn’t come close to this quest line. Yikes! Spent plenty of clams, too, including most premium offerings. I stopped at the judge, though, because I’m frustrated that they aren’t really worth my while. I don’t know why the powers that be don’t set late level and premium characters to at least earn event currency. I get why they aren’t directly in quests.
At any rate, I’m bummed no Scrotes for me.

I did get a response from Tiny Co.
They said there is nothing they are doing to level the playing field on this event. They are sorry for the 1-2 weeks that IOS players couldn’t log in but will do nothing to compensate us. There words ” glitches” occur. I would post their response but the funny thing is all my support conversations are now deleted.

I FINALLY got Scrotes, but MAN it wasnt easy and would have been impossible without clams. Level 1: 6 goons, Level 2: 4 cops Level 3: 12 Luchadores Level 4 6 Showgirls Level 5: 15 Luchadores!!! Really??? 27 hours worth of JUST Luchadores??? And then i had to keep buying trailers! And i agree with the other poster who said the endles string of “clearing” challenges was just tooooo much. Clear 12 gurl scouts, oh you finished that? Awesome, now clear 20. Ugh. I have never been so far behind in an event and i played A LOT….but i did find the characters to be pretty unattainable overall. No Brian no Bonnie and 20000 cookies for Tricia… Come on man! And the alternative for paying clams to unlock them was ridiculous, I got everything for Tricia except the cookies and it was still like 1100 clams…what??? At least i got Scrotes though!

P.S. Ok, so i just finished clearing 12 Gurl Scouts and now it asked me to hire 77 Goons. WHAT??? That would literally take two days of producing nothing but Goons! Come on Tinyco! Why make challenges so out of reach???

This character just cracks me up. I think it’s a real ballsy character for the FG developers/animators to have created lol. I hope he doesn’t get a GF down the road though. I don’t think I could take that visual roaming around my Quahog.

End of the event will be so disappointing for me. Will barely miss out on Scrotes due to the time it’s taken for getting stuff for beating Don (will just barely miss out on beating him at x4 due to the event ending) and not unlocking him until late, and I’m between 10K and 11K so I will barely miss out on getting the Don (no way of earning lots of rep, used all my remaining cookies on mystery boxes hoping to get the rep but no dice). If I could have started on time it would have been easy, but there was just no way to catch up due to the way the queue works, short of spending loads of clams.

I never got past the Judge map so i lost out on this guy, 3 costumes, and because of the fact i don’t wanna spend a few hundred on a game thats really why. Even spending every hour on the quests because of how those map events worked asking for NINE of one thing that only one thing drops… seriously? When did this game become owned by Zynga? I NEVER should’ve spent 40 bucks on Star Trek as it gave me NO reward for that much spent. This event SUCKED!

Woke up at 6 am this morning to try and get as much done on the last day of the event as possible just to get the crash on load problem AGAIN… This is getting really frustrating, I lost a week to this near the beginning meaning I now have no chance whatsoever to get mob wife Bonnie or Scrotes, never mind schoolgirl tricia (20000!) Now I can’t even spend the last of my cookies or go for fort knox one last time

Having not been able to play since Saturday I’ve not had the pleasure to even see how to get this character, so please humour me, how could I have obtained this character if I could have got on? Love this site by the way you girls are awesome 🙂

Dang, I had just unlocked fighting the Don last night, so there is zero chance of that happening. I can’t even consider using clams to speed it up (which is ironic since TinyCo just offered me a deal on clams…) ..and even if I could, I would then have to use clams to speed up good production. This is just a pathetically blatant money grab.
I have no idea why this event was so glitched and cumbersome. I am ranked at 20,000, so while I did not do bad, I couldn’t unlock half the outfits/characters for this despite my efforts.

I noticed that the default level up screen, that I had been ignoring for quite a long time, is actually pretty funny when you level up Detective Scrotes. It ironically references being older & wiser without “pesky wrinkles” or “droopage”!

I really don’t know what’s happening. Still play as religiously as I always have. Was behind on the last event only completed it because they extended it. Still only trying to complete week 4 things with this event. I got so far behind. I play every 2 hrs or more and it’s not enough. I think what got me is the whole completing a task then being told to do the task I literally just did. I feel like everything was out of order. Take down 15 of such and such after I just took out 5 of them which didn’t count against any quest. It happened over and over and over. Now I’m trying to collect french fries again JUST AFTER I sent all my ladies out to complete the other quest. Just can’t win. I wanted scrotes and the clams for getting all 4 characters but I will not even get mobster lois or king pin consuela.

I know this is pretty much after the fact but I found it really helps a LOT if you try and read all of the posts and walkthroughs here as soon as they are posted and BEFORE you do time consuming tasks. Some tasks, you will see in advance, are better to hold off on until another task has triggered. By reading the posts and doing pre-planning, based on what is coming up next, you will save a ton of valuable time! During a major event, I barely make a move on my game before checking this blog first lol. And I am constantly refreshing the page to read the comments and experiences of other players too. Has saved me many a mistake!

Amen to that! When I see an exclamation mark in the game, it means “check the Addicts page”, not “tap here”. 🙂 TinyCo should make the loading screen be a Bunny & Alissa graphic with directions to this site. Don’t play game without it!

Lol. That’s true about the exclamation mark :D. It’s like quick close the game, make whatever just happened go away, back up, quick go read this blog and then see if you really wanna do that haha. They should put this site as a helpful link in the Game FAQ’s too, not that anyone really reads that too well either, if at all. 😉

Same here. It’s not always possible but I try my best to align different tasks that involve the same goons or character tasks so that I won’t be duplicating things if I can help it. Sometimes that means waiting a day or two on a particular task so that I can overlap it with another one that requires the same things, but it still saves time and event resources in the long run. For the different obstacles and main questline on parts where normal character tasks are involved, instead of waiting for the task to pop up to do it I start them ahead of time so they are complete shortly after they’re actually called for. It sucks when that’s not possible and you have to do the same things over and over but I just try to minimize it as much as I can.

It sounds like you were doing those side quest like the best around and the rest of them where you had to send crazy amounts of goons to fight. I could be wrong about that, but if you were doing them, then that was probably a big problem. They took away time to make goons needed for raids or other drops and I barely did most of them and ended up in the 7000’s on the leader board so they weren’t really needed for mob rep.

Unlocking Lois has slowed my progress drastically. Majority of needed items are obtained by using the dons nightclub. The recruiting queue holds/trains only 6 goons at a time (1 per hour) and you need at least 12 goons to receive a third of what is needed to unlock her.

Just got him and 35 clams for unlocking all 4 characters, I like him. His facespace made me lol “grow a beard all over my body” XD.

I am still working on Lois also. Actually my main goal is to get don king Cleveland because I don’t think Lois will be feasible at this point. This is the first time I won’t be able to finish. I came here to see what I am missing out on 😦 stupid sexy Galaxy s5 glitch.

It seems I’m in the same boat as many other players. It sucks because I play this game dozens of times per day, I focus on tasks, cookies, etc… And I typically am comfortable spending ~$20 per month long event and this is the first event where I’m not even CLOSE to finishing. Still working on Lois, only need 5 more coats, but then I’ll need 12k cookies for Tricia (that’s it) and I haven’t researched what I’ll need for Bonnie or now this Scrotes character. Of course it doesn’t matter at this point I’ll barely be able to get Lois by 3pm tomorrow.
I left them feedback, but it’s highly unlikely anything will come of it. Sucks because I’m not a freemium player, just don’t want to spend the $60 it seems to be required for this event to get everything.

Its me again I really do not know what to do I cannot even get into my game I have contacted numerous times TinyCo have not got a response have not got anything it has been 3 days since I’ve been able to play my game it crashes on my loading screen I’m going to miss all the stuff in the event because of this bullcrap I really don’t know what to do I am so mad and frustrated with TinyCo I’m about to boycott them….. Any suggestions would help please…..

Yes it started doing that to me early afternoon. I was on my third run final part and onltonly needed to defeat two more fat guys on scooters to also unlock Bonnies costume…oh well reported it at least with everything I could of thought of… even locked out I should finish top 5k regardless

For the time it takes to get through them, it would be nice if the payouts were better for each part of these character quests and there was a worthwhile reward for finishing the whole thing. Even 5 clams to finish one of these would be great.
Since I unlocked Scrotes I’ve just been sending him on his 1 hour task to get as many cookies as possible, which has paid out way more than finishing the quest would have.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who seems to be ridiculously behind where we should be. I just finally unlocked mob wife Louis and there is only like 14 hours left in the event. This hasn’t happened in other events and I have no clue where I went wrong considering I’ve been playing every 2-4hrs (expect for when I sleep of course). Kinda frustrating but it is what it is. At least I’ve got TSTO to keep me busy!

I checked that the Don needed 15 showgirls to take down. I went to the nightclub and set 6 showgirls into making and then the ame crashed. When I got back in, I had to set all the y showgirls again. And then I clicked the Don and now he needed 15 lunchadors. I hate this event! I’d contact Tinyco, but there’s no point, if they’re even gonna ever reply, it’d be at least in a week and with “sorry, the event is over.” Guess I just gotta shell over some clams. I’m tired, tired of this game.
