It’s just about time to say goodbye to the lil friends. As the 3PM Pacific Timer is running down in our games, there are a few things you need to keep in mind…
MOBSTERS EVENT ENDS TODAY, JULY 9TH, 2015, @3PM PACIFIC
SPEND ALL EVENT CURRENCY
Event Currency is just that… currency ONLY for an Event. So when the Event goes, the Currency goes with it. So use up all the Gurl Scout Cookies you have left.
There are a LOT of cool looking Decoration options. Whether you want to try your luck in the Cookie Mystery Boxes or just outright purchase the items in the Decorations Tab (like the Bamboo and Cherry Blossom Trees), just use it or lose it when the Event goes.
Side Note: In order to be able to get MORE items, like the Trees and Bamboos, you will need to make sure all you have is IN your Quahog. That means you can’t have any stored away. The game is set up to avoid “accidental” duplicate purchase, so it will pull the items from your Inventory first, then allow you to purchase new ones once the Inventory is empty of that same item. So, if you have 100 Bamboo in storage and want more… you need to take the 100 Bamboo out of the Inventory Storage and place it in your town until you have purchased everything you want. Then you can Store it all again.
COMPLETE CHARACTERS
Any Character not fully unlocked and walking around your Quahog will go away when the Event does. This means for Characters like Diabeto, Jr, Mr Washee Washee, etc. ANY Character that all the items are not acquired for and not completed will all go when the Event Ends at 3PM.
It is at this point you need to ask yourself, is it REALLY worth it to you to spend Clams to complete them and get them into your game? Or will it be better to just let them go? What will you be happy with 3 months from now?
Any Characters/Costumes that you DO have fully unlocked and in your Quahog are yours to keep once the Event ends.
MAKE FINAL PURCHASES
Any Premium items you have been debating on need to be purchased prior to the Event Ending. So if you’ve been holding off on a Building or a Character like Mr. Miyagi, now is the time to make that final decision. What will make YOU happy to have in your town? What won’t matter and you can just let it go?
Any Buildings that you already purchased with Clams or Cookies will be yours to keep after the Event.
FINAL SPIN IN MYSTERY BOXES?
Keep in mind the Mystery Boxes from the Event go with the Event too, so if there was something in there that you had your eye on… make sure you make that final decision of what is worth it to YOU to try for and what can just be let go of.
FINISH QUESTLINES
Majority of the Questlines for the Event go when the Event does. This is mainly due to all the innerworkings of those Questlines require items that are only available within the Event (like Copahavan, Raids, Etc). So there will not be any further progress available for them after the Event.
A few may stick around, but this is usually just the Premium Characters that have an isolated side quest. Like Miyagi. We will know fully what stays once the Event ends.
DON’T WAIT!!
Give yourself enough time to complete all items. Do not put it off until the last minute as there always seems to be a rush in the game last minute and this can cause a lag. So don’t risk falling short on something if you are close. Finish it off or let it go.
MOB REP
If you are giving that final push to get ranked as high as you can, keep in mind that NO ONE will see any of Prizes until sometime next week. NO ONE has a specific date, time, or any further details on them beyond that. So there is no specifics to provide. When we see anything, you will see a post on our site about it.

I haven’t commented in a while cause i was to cought up in my criminal life LOL. What an event this was huh. I wanted to thank you a lot for the hard work you did on this event. There was so much info and so much questions, it must have driven you nuts!
My emotions for this event changed by the day. From angry to happy, from bored to very entertained. That was one of the reasons i didn”t commented. I liked the basics of this event but some parts were just off. But I kept playing to see how all turned out. Well i can say i did a good job. I was able to collect all characters and ended around 6000 in the leaderboard. Not bad. But i had to use more clams then i wanted to (so that was a huge downside but without using them i wouldn’t be able to get so far). This all beside i was playing constantly (except for 9 hours cause i have to work to earn some clams ;)) So yeah that were my short 5 cents for this event.

My game has been crashing since the event ended. I try to start the game, and before it loads, it stops with an error box. I tried clearing the data, updating when available, and reinstalling. The game loads properly for a first-time player, but when I log in via facebook to recall my game, the same crashing happens. Does anyone else have this problem or know what’s up? Thanks

That event felt like a complete mess, both in terms of theme and planing. Godfarther with Robocop and girl scouts, it like they were just throwing stuff at the the wall and seeing what would stick.

I received the same message, but after contacting Tiny Co and receiving a reply, it was pushed to my game. Problem now is, I went to rearrange some buildings and after placing the mansion in my inventory it disappeared. Has anyone else experienced this? I contacted them again and am now awaiting a response.

Just in case anyone reading this runs into the same issue, I received a response from Tiny Co stating:
“Your grand prize for completing the weekly challenges, should be in you Inventory now. There was a bug earlier that was showing it as the Stripper Emporium. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!”
I checked after this message was received and there it was, in all of its beautiful glory, sitting ever so wonderfully in my inventory again!!!!

A new update is available for iOS and it says “The mobsters event has officially ended! Stay tuned for our next big event, premiering in a couple weeks. And as always thank you for playing”
Maybe we’ll have a small break before the new one begins or at least have the next one be easy enough we don’t have to be glued to the game 24/7.

It started already a stripper event. Still need them to give me scotes. Finishes the Don’s 5x little after two today and no scrotes. Hope they read my ingame plea and can still see what was what in my game.
Also mad cause Peter’s still stuck on a Mafia related quest with 10 hour and 40 minutes to go. They should of released hip when they pulled the game. Grrr.

Finally got back in after using the great advice from the ladies on this site logging in on an Apple phone fixed my Android issue lol. With only a day and a half left spending over 800 in clams to get Scrotes and Bonnie with hours to spare. Thank You Gals! One question do I dare download the new update in the market place or will it just bring the old issues back? P.S. TINY CO. Thanks for nothing getting way better help and advice here… I hope you guys compensate this site in some way, because I’m sure so many people would have jumped ship by now if it wasn’t for these ladies talking us off the ledge not to just give up on this game for good. This site says TinyCo always does the right thing for their customers let’s see it now… cuz this was a complete disaster.

I was able to find someone with an iOS device gracious enough to download the game and log in for me long enough to complete the risks and events. I was Suggesting how the next event from the 1 we had could go could go better or be nice to have extra land. That is why I posted it in that section instead of WTD. I’ve never ever bashed or said anything towards u guys or the game. Are any other Android users unable to login?
My game started crashing about 24 hours before the event ended and I’ve been unable to login since then. I pretty much had virtually no chance to unlock Bonnie or Tricia’s costumes before the end of the event, so in some ways, I didn’t lose out on anything.
But if there’s a new event starting, I don’t want to have a late start because of another bug.

No. It was for the “Premium” Players. Those that buy items with Clams and are willing and wanting to spend more to get extra items and challenges. They were NOT easy.

First off, I’d like to say thanks very much to you addicts for keeping all of us from throwing our collective devices against the wall! Lol. You two were clutch as always in helping us strategize our plans of attack. Now, I have just a quick query or two:
1) Anybody know who that “Pretty Fist 62” is and how in the eff they managed to collect something like 700,000 mob rep? I assume gobs of cash since I definitely threw down more than I should’ve on this event and I ended up in the nearly – 70,000 range. It boggles my mind to think what they must have spent, if they were truly legitimate, to get 10 TIMES my amount. I still have my doubts. Some rich kid somewhere perhaps? Lol.
2) If I may ask, where did YOU lovely ladies end up on the ‘ole leaderboard? Enough for the gold house I sincerely hope. Heck, you deserve all of the prizes on the board and then some for what you do.
3) Will there be any sort of “strategy” post, covering what you found to be the most effective methods in this event to reach the top? I know that’s pretty lofty, especially since it seems they (TinyCo) are planning on bombarding us with another event tonight or tomorrow and we could (you most of all, for sure) use a nice break. But hey, I couldn’t help but ask, right? Haha.
Ok so I guess it wasn’t so quick after all but I am, like I assume the rest of us are, pretty dang curious. Anyways, thanks again for this great site and your hard work and I look forward (kinda lol) to pushing on into the next event with your help. 1: A player with WAAAAAY too much money to spend on a game, but hey… to each their own. If someone wants to spend THAT much in a game… instead of real life… their choice. I know for a fact that the amount we spend is mainly for the site. I would NEVER spend this kind of cash on in app purchases. And we spend a LOT each Event. The player loaded up on Cookie Conveyors and along with MANY others… used the frak out of those hedges dropping mob rep.
2: I dunno. I stopped paying attention. I was more concerned with the site then ONE prize on a Leaderboard. There was a ton more items I could earn and win in the game that caught my attention more. I think Alissa did the same. We just wait and see what happens at the end. Random Prizes are random. I don’t freak out over them. I get what I get and am fine with it. No reason to stress and spend for ONE item. I mean really? Would people honestly say they would be happy that ONE item cost them THOUSANDS of dollars? Lol. I see people complain a character costs 200 Clams. Catch my drift?
3: Nope. Event is over. Time to move on. No need for picking it apart on strategies. Leaderboards NEVER have strategies. It’s a gamble. If anything a poll later. But nothing more. We provide info while it is live. AFTER is kind of a moot point. 😉

Just an FYI, I am an avid gamer and overachiever, I can’t help it. I played Golden Tee Golf an arcade game by ITS Games, payouts were cash and a chance to win a trip to a yearly trip to Vegas limited to 30 player’s, 4 consecutive years in the early 2000s, the last one filmed by Fox Sports, all the winnings taxable, I won $8,000 in1year and purchased a tournament machine @ $6,000, I was ranked 7th in the U.S., It took a great deal of skill to play. I was able to write off the machine all winnings, and claim anyI $ spent as entry fees ending up with a 0 balance owed on April 15th, I won1 of the 4 Vegas tournaments and received the big check $4,000, I reduced my player cost from $5 to $1.65 per game paying only internet fees and avoiding the crowds at the local bars.
The last event I finished 8th 213314 in rep ? ( it kept adding after official ending) I did not spend as much as you may think. The oragomi swan payed out 1,000 rep per 5000 cookies, I stayed away from useless items, I found the swan accidentally (never going to your site throughout the event) my goal to finish in the top 10, that position was a race to the wire between at least 4 of us, yes I got caught in the last gift boxs and quickly realized STOP ! In the last
1/2 hour I spent $50 on clams and went to the100 clam statue as insurance gambling that the people chasing were in another time zone as I live in the PST zone, I kept a close eye on the timer and dumped the remaining cookies, I was right, the others had already timed out and were no longer a threat moving me from 11th to
8th. Now you’re probably wondering why.?
This app takes from 1.3 to 1.5 G-bytes of memory to run, it can be expensive depending on the individual player’s desires. It offers no rewards for being the best, skins, deco’s, buildings, …. Big deal

Never had a problem until after the end of mobster event. After the reload, when I try to “check” a character that has completed an event, it locks up.
iPhone 6 plus, 128 Gb.. Deleted game, rebooted, reinstalled, signed back in… Same error. Anyone else?

Hi. Has anyone been having issues with mort? He was on the getting through a metal gate obstacle when the event ended and now Everytime I click on him the game freezes on me. I have reinstalled the app and restarted my device. I play on an iPhone 6+. I messaged tiny co already but I thought I see if anyone else is having the issue.

That event absolutely sucked. I’ve been a player since before the pyramid/cleveland event, and at this point it’s become clear that Tiny Co is only concerned with making you spend money. I’ve seen this game go from really fun to incredibly frustrating and greedy. Thank you to the staff of this page for offering all their assistance, but I’m tapping out. Literally. Going back to play the Simpsons only.

Kind of annoyed that it wouldn’t at least tell you where you finished on the leaderboard. I think I got Stewie’s skin. Really wanted Don Corleone but it was impossible without spending tons of cash I don’t really have.
Sent TinyCo a message voicing my frustrations with this event. Got a form message verbal middle finger back after the event ended. I wanted to love this event, I couldn’t. Really hope they think things through before the next big one.

My guess is they do last minute “combing” through the entire Leaderboard to ensure all those new listings were not playing “altered” games. Then the awards can be given to the legitimate players.

Have not been able to load my game for four days now.. missed out on alot of the final events. Not happy at all. I love this game and spend alot of time in it.. But, I am afraid I can’t deal with it anymore. 2ho knows when I may be able to get back in anyhow..

I wish I could… I don’t own any iOS devices, and I don’t have a computer. I couldn’t get the game to load through a browser on my tablet.

What is the Facebook beta workaround?

Try to see if you can log into the BETA Facebook version. If you are patient, and keep trying…. and get in… even if for a minute… you may be able to trigger access to your game from your Android Device.

I know how you feel. I haven’t been able to get in for the last six days. Effectively missed all of week 5, I had all freemium content and all of the premium content I wanted. On track to get Scrotes, the final raid prize, and the Bonnie skin before the event ended, with several of the mystery boxes. I was also sitting quite comfortable in a bronze position. From the numbers I am seeing, I am sure I have missed out on the bronze Griffin house skin and pretty sure I will have also lost the Don. I spent a lot of time and a fair bit of money to get where I was, and it was all going quite well. I’m waiting to see what I won overall, but it seems like a month’s work will have gone down the drain in a mere six days. I also bought the Vineyard just before I got stuck, so that was a waste of 100 clams. Did nothing to help with Bonnie and doesn’t really suit my Quahog. Given the number of players that were locked out, I had hoped we could get an extension. I think that less people had problems like this in the Star Trek event but they gave us one, and new content with it.

This time, already a contract in place for content pre-planned. I think if they didn’t already have a signed prior commitment, they may have.

Locked out my game for 24 hours now. Now no Bonny custome, probably lost my top 10k spot and no purchases. Apparently a known issue but nothing has solved it. Tried everything and nothing worked..not even the latest update. Reslly annoyed by all this..worst possible timing.

I can’t get into the game since the Android update this afternoon. Cleared cache, uninstall, reinstall, and still no go. Fame fails during splash screen loading. Sent details to TinyCo just in case.
Also, I can’t wait to see the poll results for this event.

Many were having issues… my workaround… log in through an iOS if you can grab a hold of one… if not… try to see if you can access the Facebook BETA long enough to get in your game… then go back to your android.

Good riddance. This event had some nice ideas such as the leaderboard but the event was an overall disaster. Game crippling bugs that kept those of us on Android from being able to play for a week and put us impossibly behind – I only today a few hrs before the end finally got to upgrade to the final mansion.
I get that tinyco needs to make money but past events were much better balanced so that dedicated freemium players still had a shot. Not so in this event. I’ve spent money on past ones like Halloween and Star Trek but this event really soured me on the game.
I give the event a D+ grade. New ideas like the leaderboard were good but everything else was tedious, buggy, and impossible.

Holy schmoly batman, that was long, expensive, and aggravating/fun. Think I made out with a bronze house. Tried to find you in the leader board Bunny, did you have TC change your handle (grinning digits…) I hope you posted a Silver house at least. For all the work you guys do they should give you everything ever created by them! Thanks again for all you do.
BTW, I have mentioned it to TC, it would be nice, during these events, if we could voluntarily turn off rent collection on buildings. I have been here from the start and have enough coins to last me a while. I get tired of tapping in buildings in order to see what’s roaming around the streets. Maybe we could start a “square” thing.

Agreed, but a large part of the fun of this game is seeing my Quahog grow slowly, I enjoy what I have built so far and don’t want to “Nuke” it just to keep up with these events. (Haven’t had to so far and am hoping I won’t).

Oh no… don’t nuke it unless you REALLY want to. Just get rid of the “stuff” that is more clutter. Like I have “Event” or “Seasonal” areas I swap out designs in. That way there is always something new in town and the area can be tucked away when I grow bored of it. 🙂

In the last hour I managed to complete the quest to get Scrotes (yay!) and send one last guy on an attack to complete one of those minor quests – which gave me boocoo cookies. My ranking jumped from 16,000 -> 10,0066. SO close….!!!

I feel the final week of the event was really rushed. I’m a completist and had issues trying to finish the quest lines whilst avoiding spending clams. In the end I had no choice and bought clams to help finish some of the quests.
I was ranked 24 for most of the event until then final week, where I dropped down to the 130’s. Last minute rush of building decos and defeating the don and fort nox put me back up to 76.
I hope I still qualified for the gold house skin!

Do you know if you get all the leaderboard prizes you qualify for or just the one for your score? I kinda want the drive by car more than what I actually qualify for even though it’s for a higher score

Hope one of these days they give us more land like in Simpson Tapped out. That game has lots of land to play with….glad i didnt spend to many clams on this event…dissapointed with all the crashes and problems…

OMG. I was walking around practically zombie like after the Star Trek Event was over. Managed to pull out of it before this event hit. After this event, probably now have a crazed look about me. Can’t even imagine what the next event is gonna turn me into 😛

I have to say. I’m really disappointed as are others with this event. I normally spend about $20 per event, but did not for this one as I see the trend Tiny is going since the Star Wars event. Because of tuba fiasco, the lag,game crashing I was about a week behind. Extremely disappointed the way the “big” events are trending.
