UPDATE 7/11: Morning all… so the “issue” last night was new and isolated quick. Not the same as the other two they’re still trying to track that hit around Mobsters. So most should be right back in.
For everyone else still locked out, please keep posting the answers here if you have not already. To me, the core cause seems possibly related to Android Updates (like within Lollipop and the actual 5.2 update). Will keep working with TinyCo and our readers here to track it til we find the trigger. Thanks so much for your help and answers. I really appreciate it. 🙂

- I know some have answered many times, but we see players reporting it right after Mobsters ended, along with some who have been locked out for longer. We are trying to see if this is two different issues.
- What region do they live in?
- State of the US, country if outside the US.
- We find that sometimes, rarely, this is related to a specific carrier or region.
- What carrier do they use?
- ATT, Verizon, just wifi, etc
- Can they log on using their account on a DIFFERENT android device?
- We know logging on iOS fixes it. Does another Android device?

When did this begin?
First thing in the morning July 2. Have not been been able to load the game at all since.
What region do they live in?
Oregon, USA with ct area code (moved a few months ago)
What carrier do they use?
Verizon
Can they log on using their account on a DIFFERENT android device?
I tried to log in on a kindle fire hd 8.9. I was able to download and start the game. Once I got to the point to be able to load my game, the app refused to load and locked me out again. Also, not amount of reinstalling on my phone help.
Also, me and my boyfriend got locked out with same error/crashing problem on the same day and around the same time. We BOTH play on an HTC One M8 (Verizon). The above answers apply to both of us.

1. Before the end of the mob event my game crashed and I haven’t been able to log in at all since then it just goes to the loading screen and crashes.

4. Yesterday I emailed tinyco about not being able to log in but haven’t gotten a response I uninstalled and reinstalled but that doesn’t work either. I know a new event is going on and I myself like many here on this page are behind and my not be able to get all the new content in time please help.

My crashing began the morning of 4th of july and was originaly a load error something like trying to losd a streak that does not exist. It began right after i defeated the don at the x3 level. After about 24 hours the error went away and the game would simply close out part way through loading and has been doing it ever since. When i reinstall i can play the begining game but as soon as i try to sign in the problem persists.
I live in washington state and have verizon wireless but mostly use xfiniti wifi to play. It crashes on both.
I do not have access to another device android or ios so i cannot try that option. Im on a galaxy s4 running kit kat android version 4.4.2

Started on Sunday after i’d let the Don run out of time I suppose..
I’m in the Netherlands on KPN but mostly on Wifi..
I tried on My GS3, Tab2 and Bluestacks as well as facebook Beta..
I really really wonder what about my ranking and prizes.. I used a lot of clams to rush things up that eventualy led to nothing because I couldnt complete all the shizzle..

No, I only have Android 5.1 on my Note 3 and my Note 2, both keep crashing back to the home screen. No iOS devices.

I have been locked out since about 7am on the final day of the mobsters event. I am running a samsung s3 with all updates done. My carrier is koodo (telus).
In case it matters the timer for battling the don would have expired between when i was last on (about 530am the same day) I have tried the facebook workaround with no success)
When i try to load the game it only loads half the bar then crashes. Please help! I already was affected by the crashes during the first couple weeks of the mobster event and am now missing out on the new event. I have been playing since the game first launched and would like to continue playing.

hey guys,I have been locked out since Monday morning on my samsung galaxy note 3. I use wifi always,I live in Palm Bay Florida, my carrier is Tmobile,and I have tried installing on 2 other android devices with the same carrier. But my daughter in laws tablet is working her game fine. Same carrier. Thanks.

I’ve been locked out four or five days now.

I live in texas.
I’ve been able to take a couple of screenshots and send them to tinyco when the game showed me which library file was corrupted.
I was able to uninstall, reinstall and when I logged into my quahog it crashed again.

My wife’s HTC m8 is still on android 4.4. When I installed the game on her phone it loaded just fine, when I linked to my google account it did the same thing that it does on my phone. It loads the loading screen and then without any error message it will go back the phones home screen.
On my phone I re-installed the game. It will run and load just fine. I can link to a facebook account and another google account. but when I link to my level 60 google account it crashes on the load screen.
Again no error, from the load screen it goes back to the phones home screen.
So I have tried android 4.4, and other google account, the crash start when I link to my level 60 google account.
This started with the update that was downloaded from google play on the last day of the Mob event.

I installed bluestack and the same thing happened, it loads and runs fine until I link it to my google account. Then it does the same thing from the load screen it crashes and just goes to the “desktop”

I got locked out on July 11 around 8 eastern time. I was about 1 day into phase 5 of mobsters and the Dons timer would have been expired the next time I tried to sign in. Was working on my second run, I think on the metal detector.
I am in Canada.
Carrier is Koodo and I use it on WiFi as well. Phone is a one plus one on Android 5.0.2
I installed fg on my wife’s one plus one running Android 4.4.4 and cannot sign in either.
App simply crashes to desktop with yellow bar at about the half way mark on both phones.
Sadly I don’t have access to an ios device.

Just to give a heads up, if you are an andriod user…go to Facebook find “family guy tqfs” game in the search bar. When you find it, let the load bar load all the way on the screen. Keep refreshing the page until it loads, then exit out of Facebook and try it on your phone or tablet. That’s how I got back in! My wife got back in the same way, maybe a google play store issue?

Woohoo! Launching the game on my Mac through Chrome/Facebook fixed it for me. I never realised it could be played from within Facebook until now. It now works on both of my Nexus devices. Cheers phate1606.

Can now log in again using Bluestacks, and Android.
Might be an alternative to those who don’t have an Apple device.

I tried bluestacks.. it let me do the tutorial, but crashed on load screen when I tried to sign into Goggle Play. I’m glad to see it worked for you 🙂 I’m on Win 7… you?

I downloaded the update which I saw in the Play store, right after checking on Bonnie’s clam price and putting siren the largest canoli and getting a few mystery boxes. Was unable to get Bonnie because of the crash so I don’t think she affected it, but unsure.
I’m AT&T but I try to stay on Wi-Fi when I’m playing. I live in Huntsville, AL and cannot log in on my LG G3 or my LG Gpad. I have restarted, uninstalled and redownloaded, cleared my cache and attempted to play. The game works fine until I log into my Quahog, which it then crashes immediately on the loading screen.

iPod on iOS 9? If so… it’s new and not compatible yet with many apps. TinyCo is aware it’s not with theirs and already working on it.

I have Android 4.4.4 on my phone. No system updates were made. I could get in right after mobsters ended at roughly 6:10 EDT. I went out for a couple of hours and FG had auto updated while I was out. I have not been able to get in since. Motorola Moto X phone.

Samsung galaxy s5, have tried two other android devices and no difference, have uninstalled/reinstalled and was okay till uploaded my account through Facebook.
So dissapointed as was mid 3000’s on leader board and have now missed end of event

I am in Michigan (USA) and I was locked out on my Kindle Fire and Samsung Galaxy S5 on Wednesday, 7/8. I wasn’t able to access the Facebook beta app, but on Friday 7/10 I was able to use an iPad to log in using my Facebook saved account. Since then I have been able to play the game on both of my Android devices.

If you have access to a desktop or laptop go to Facebook and try to access the game, search for it in the search bar. Try to load it from there…just refresh the page if it doesnt load, when it does load exit out of facebook and try it on your tablet or phone.

Just to update; I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it hasn’t made a difference; as soon as I reloaded my game from Facebook it started throwing me out at the load screen again 😦

Good news! I got fed up/bored as haven’t got in since Monday and ended up phoning my mum & got her to install FG and log me in on her ipad.. talking her through the tutorial was part hilarious and part embarrassing (ok, the little man has taken off his pants…) Long story short, I can log in again on my Kindle & thought you’d like to know it worked XD

I am still not able to get in. Crashing started after Magic Mike event started, I sent everyone on their first event missions and I took all my animated decos and buildings out of storage that I put away BC of crashing during mobster event. I haven’t able to get in on my android at all since then, but I downloaded the game on my iPhone and it is working fine on ios.
I live in Ohio and I exclusively play on WiFi.

This is why I always suggest WiFi. ANY Event on this game or the other we write on will drain your memory BIG Time… Poor Data Plans don’t have a chance. So… Avoid Data at all costs or it will cost you.

1) I had the crashing occur first thing Thursday morning (9th) at approx 7am BST. So thankfully only lost a small part of the event.
2) I live in the UK
3) Phone is on 3 in the UK, but mostly access game through wifi
4) Did not have access to iOS device. Have a Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy Note 10.1 (first version of). I also tried sideloading the game’s apk into arc welder in Chrome on my PC just to try to get in as a last resort and it still crashed.
The only thing I can think of that was possibly different when I exited the game the night before the crash started was that I had defeated the first henchman and the second one was due to time-out overnight. Could just be coincidence though.
I then spotted yesterday (Friday) morning the facebook beta workaround that was mentioned on this site and gave it a go… It took many attempts across both firefox and chrome, but I eventually managed to get it to load properly.. and as a result I’m now back into the game on my android device.

1. It began almost 2 days before the mobster event ended.. It first started while playing doing any action..then the 2days before the event ended it started to crash on the load screen.  2. I live in north easter NJ…3. I have Sprint Galaxy S5..4..I haven’t tried logging in on a different android phone… 5..At the beginning I was just being kicked off the load screen with nothing but to report it and give feedback…Now sometimes that still happens but I also get sent to the FAQ about crashing issues ..and explained to contact tinyco please help!! – Nee, nein, nope, it does nothing at all for me. Keeps crashing, even if I ask someone on the other side of Holland to log in for me. Facebook beta didn’t do the trick either.

Started Morning of Friday 10th after updating. I am in the UK and using both the three mobile network and WiFi at home and work.

Looks like there’s a fresh wave on top of the mobster one that they haven’t fixed yet. I recall reading someone commenting, either here or on Facebook that it started happening when the Don’s timer reset… Turns out it also happened to be the case for me as I had kept it going up till then. Probably a coincidence but at this stage it’s worth mentioning. Here’s for the details:
1. First crash happened on the morning of Thursday 9th (GMT + 4 i.e. PDT + 11 so late Wednesday evening for TinyCo). I had let the Don’s timer reset overnight
2. Dubai, UAE
3. Crashes regardless on home Wi-Fi (Du broadband) or mobile (Etisalat)
4. Crashes on both my Galaxy Tab 7, my Nexus 7 and my LG G3, although I only get the “stopped working” message on the Galaxy – the latter just close and go back to the previous screen without messages. I’ve even tried BlueStacks but no joy either

5) I have uninstalled, cleared cache, and reinstalled. Game launched as a guest or new user. When I entered my email address (username) and password to connect to my game, it crashes again at the load screen. I just went to the Google Play Store. Had an update available. Downloaded. Possibly 1.9.8? Load screen changed from Mobster theme back to normal load screen with the family and the chicken. Still crashes at the New load screen.

Had no gold trucks all afternoon (only needed 2) Don had about 30 mins left. Had 18 goons hired. Characters sent on 2 hour tasks at 8pm event due to finish at 11pm.

1. Began just after Perfectly Legal Mystery Box and Triple 7 Mystery Box was released in the Mobster event. I logged in, sent my guys on jobs and spent all my cookies on these two new boxes. Closed the game and haven’t been able to open the game since.

1) First noticed at 12:00am CDT (10:00 PDT) July 9th, attempted to load the game but it failed. Saw there was an update, tried updating, unsuccessful; also did full re-install. Last successful load of the game was at 3:00am CDT (1:00 PDT) of the same day, so just 9 hours earlier.
2) Chicago, IL.
3) Sprint, though could not access through Wifi either.
4) Don’t have other devices to test on. Using a Galaxy S4 that updated to the latest Android OS just a couple weeks ago.
