Hey there Tribblemakers!
The Mini Magic Mike Event popped into our games last Thursday and is now coming to a close.
MAGIC MIKE ENDS TODAY @3PM PACIFIC
With some interesting New Buildings, Characters/Costumes, and Decorations… I just wanted to remind you of the items you will want to take a final peek at or pick up before they all go.

BUILDINGS
There were several new Buildings brought in for the Magic Mike Event, some for coins, and some for Event Currency. So take a look through them all to make sure you pick up any you want. Those NOT in your game by the End of the Event today will go with the Event.
DECORATIONS
A couple of New Decorations were added as well for Magic Mike, so get what you want in your game before the Event goes and them along with it.
Side Note: Stripper Bonnie has a task “Champagne Room” that requires a special pole to unlock. In the past, that pole cost Clams. For this Event, you can actually purchase the Big Time Stripper Pole and she will use that instead (at least that is where she now performs it in my game). So you may want to make sure you got it if you have her.
CHARACTERS/COSTUMES
We have some interesting Characters/Costumes for the Event. Some old and some new. Make sure you purchase and/or complete collection for each one and bring them into your game in order to be able to keep them after the Event. Any Characters not purchased or completely Created will not stay after the Event Ends. This also applies to those brought back.

Steroid Stewie: Premium Clam Purchase (in Al’s)

Rupert got in on the Magic Mike fun with a Premium Clam Mystery Box for 45 Clams a try. So make sure you make those last minute spins in the Mystery Box before the Event ends. All items inside go with the Event.

This started during comic con so I missed out on a lot of play time…too busy running around to play. I couldn’t get Jerome. 😦 Oh well, looking forward to the next one!
Does anyone know if the quests for Don Corleone and Zoot Suit Stewie have any additional prizes at the end?

I missed Magic Mike by one blue tie thingy, they were so rare, Mort and the building weren’t dropping enough… And didn’t know the event was ending today… 😦

Really hoping I get a new mission soon. Literally have nothing to do. 4.5 million clams is getting annoying too…

Looks like they just added 2 clam purchases as my games showing the overweight male and female joggers for 75 clams each…meh not worth it to me.

Really sucks that I missed out on the whole event…. I hope TinyCo does something for us and the people that were locked out for weeks and they are still locked out….

Hopefully it’s soon because with no other tasks to do, my fingers are itching to start the Brewery but I know as soon as I do something big will come along.

Based on the last few months, I don’t think there will ever be a “good” time to start the Brewery, and every few weeks something “big” will come along, so if you want to do the brewery, which will last for at least a few events, might as well start it whenever! *chuckle*

Wow! 2:57p and I was 9 pants away from getting the building. I kept the game up and running while I watched 2 episodes of Castle before the Speedo Boys finally spawned! Placed it just in time! When my screen went dark and I relaunched, the event was gone.
Thanks to all who suggested keeping the game up. I never would have gotten the building w/out you guys. ☺️

I dunno, it’s 7:40pm EDT (4:40pm PDT) and my Quahog is still invested with Cougars…. :). No more tiny strippers, though.
I had to decide between the SkyWheel and stripper Jerome for lack of dollars to get both. I decided my inner child (who kept going to the store to look at it) really wanted that silly SkyWheel while my grownup self couldn’t care less about stripperfying Jerome (although he desperately needs more outdoor tasks besides combing his hair). Hopefully other costumes with a tad more dignity will appear later for Jerome.

I just want to let everyone know. . I am ONE PANTS OFF OF GETTING THE BUILDING. One. I’m afraid to log out for fear of losing the chance to buy.. but my last batch of strippers spawned at 5:59 EST. I just need one more to spawn.. just one. . *sobs*

In the 24 hours I’ve been able to get back in the game, I managed to unlock magic Peter. Cost a few clams to speed up a few tasks, but I’m pleased about it. Stripper Jerome is impossible, but I appreciated the opportunity to purchase steroid stewie who I passed on the first time for monetary raids. Hopefully we’ll see Jerome again in a Best of 2015 event.

With magic Mike leaving I’m guessing tiny Co is clearing things up. Since mobsters event if you qualified for a prize you had a prize box icon on your screen. Did anyone else notice it is gone now? I’m guessing prizes are coming soon

Just got my prizes from the mob event!! Got the Bronze package, Don Corleone and Zoot Suit Stewie each have a quest line! The skin isn’t bad but it would be nice if it had some animation to make it glimmer a bit.

I’m going to leave my game running to extend the event, so I can get one more shot at getting Stripper Peter. All I need is one more tie. I might even get the Gazebo if I get enough Caps while waiting for that final tie.

So glad it will be over and all the walkers will be gone, it was a fun event mostly for me. I got Bonnie stripper, sexy lady walking around, and gave in and got steroid stewie.

Are we sure? My logins this afrernoon have switched away from the “ending 7/16” graphic and now just give the generic Magic Mike opening graphic.

I am not finding the Big Time Stripper Pole for purchase. I just looked through all the tabs and did not see it. I remember when it was available for clams and I didn’t purchase it, so would have liked getting it with coins. Where did you find it for sale – in the Star tab or Decos?

Decorations. With you NOT seeing things for this and the Leaderboard… did you ever check your App Market to ensure you are running Version 1.10 of the Family Guy App?

If I got nothing else, I am glad to have Stripper Peter in my game! Anytime I need a chuckle, I just need to have him dance!!
Glad they had buildings and stuff available for non event currency, even though there was no real space to put anything until after I had nuked my town.
No intention of spending clams directly for a skin, although I am guilty of doing so for a mystery box, where I wound up with Bonnie after 2 tries, so 90 clams for a skin is not that horrible.
All in all, a nice relaxed event, with a lot of fun visuals, and no issues, once I was allowed back into the game!

I personally actually liked the choices for items that were for this event. Some of them were colorful and in my personal opinion kind of brightly placed and I guess kind of neon? My only favorite skin would be Stripper Bonnie (gee I wonder why- jk lol) but the buildings and decos were pretty nice too. However I only had two problems with this event and the same as the last, the amount of materials required (more specifically the dollar bills) and amount of time it takes to get them. You would’ve needed 21 dollars with the cost of 126 hours to get both Magic Jerome and the Ferris Wheel. Which means you needed at least 5 days and 6 hours to get what you needed. Now I was personally expecting that Jerome was going to have an option to also gain dollar bills, which was a let down personally. I would’ve had a better chance at getting the wheel which was the only last item I needed for personal sake. Once I got Jerome I simply ignored the rest of the main question to focus on items. Once I get the items/characters/skins/buildings I don’t bother, more mainly in these kinds of events. I wouldn’t finish them either way. The second problem was that this event showed pretty much the dominant truth about premium items. For me it was mostly clear and yes, I know it’s for their money needs to fund the game, but even if Bonnie was considered a skin back then, why do this? Nevertheless, 1/3 character related items were considered free which bothers me slightly. I don’t think Magic Mike should’ve been premium, but hey, whatever floats their goat (yes goat is intentional because I found it funny lol). This event has usual same problems as I’ve witnessed since when my first event started which was Valentines day. This was more of my overall view of everything. It was a rather… Okay event.
