–WHAT THE DEUCE… Can’t I get a lil more organized Inventory Storage Menu? With playing the game since BETA, I have TONS of items in there. The 3 separate Tabs addition was nice… but how about taking it a step further TinyCo? It takes me a long long long long time to find one lil item.
–WHAT THE DEUCE… Fireworks… at 2AM… ON A WEDNESDAY!! Come on people, I love and adore these sparkly explosions as much as the next guy… but in the middle of the night… on a Weekday… think of the rest of us trying to sleep in the few hours we have to sleep. K Thnx Bai!

WTD, after working hard all day at work, i come home to my neighbor getting beat by her boyfriend. What is this world coming to. It’s bad enough the two ladies got killed after the movie theater less than an hour away from where i live earlier this week. Just sad

Ever since the Blimp came in my game it closed when i touched it. It popped up with ‘Child name modalBG not found’ …. i ignored it cuz of other things but now i have to “Activate Stewie’s Blimp”.. well Still when i touch it or try doing the quest i get ‘Child name modalBG not found’ Anyone out there have a clue? I sent tinyco an email but what the deuce???!!!!

WHAT THE DEUCE!!! I was gone for a weeks vacation (with no cell service or Internet access mind you), & I find I’m coming in on an event I wished I was glued to my tablet every 2 hours. Oh well, attempting to unlock Chip, but coming in when it ends in 4 days makes it hard.

It doesn’t tell me anymore when I can visit my neighbors for shell. It bad enough everything cost shells that u really need. I have no money to buy shells so make more things for to earn shells. That’s how people loose interest.

Tinyco are extremely stingy on clams, compared to tapped out, the only way for clams in this game is a very rare drop from jesus and daily friend visit, other than random times where they gift all players clams.

I get far more free clams in Family Guy than free donuts in TSTO. I have less than a hundred donuts collected, even playing Tapball for an extra week before they forced me off. But on Family Guy, I’ve collected several hundred since Star Trek. Clam tv has helped a lot, so once they get the bugs out for all the platforms and that becomes standard – people are going to be very, very happy.

It is something in BETA testing. You won’t “find” it. They have tried to released it game wide several times now and it failed. So now they are trying with just a few select players. Depending on the results… they will decide if it is stable enough for game wide again.

I easily got att of the extra rare dingo leashes but zero bottles that are listed as rare. At this rate I will never get finn. I contacted tinyco and no response after 2 days about this. WTD?!

I messaged tinyco for about two weeks stright to see where my leadership board prizes are and I have not heard anything back from them. Am I the only one who didn’t receive them

WTD my husband, who works away from home, knowing how much pain I’m in makes me fly where he is for the weekend. I have no car, he’s worked the entire time I’ve been here.
Nothing to do within walking distance, so I’ve spent the entire weekend in the hotel room by myself, in pain.

Start with big kudos for the Consuela Vacuum thing, way to go TC! I thought it would be great to turn off rent collection and they came up with something entirely better! Next on my list of possible fixes is perhaps a way to “hide” buildings during a search for roaming characters? I lose a lot of space in my town by placing buildings so my roads are visible but still find it hard to track down said “Squaters”. If there was some way to make buildings transparent or something like that I would be grateful. Thx again for all the work you guys do on this blog.

I give up on roads, I only keep a small section set like a maze so I can keep track of characters and event related spawns. I also only keep buildings required by tasks. Those actions keeps my game more stable and crash free (most of the time, meh)

WTD…
Sent support the picture of the leader oard that proves I was in the top 10,000 a week ago, and no response.
The only thing they had to ‘confirm’ is if anybody had used hack to get mob influence (directly or by illicit clams)
The only possible effect of this would be to move everyone UP a few spots based on the number of people found to have been cheating.
But I was pushed down, out of the top 10,000 and only awarded Zoot Suit Stewie. if I was top 10,000 literally all the last week of the event and spent all my cookies to gain MI as an insurance policy, and the leader board shows me at 9223 in the last 10 seconds of the event, can somebody explain to me HOW I ended up not getting the don?
The only anser that comes to mind is the real possibility that the ‘confirmation’ process was really about pushing clam buyers who were close into the next prize bracket to justify their purchases and make them more likely to spend again.
Not saying they DID do it, just cant think of any other reason how I got lushed out. Unless it was servere malfunction in the leaderboard code, but in that case they need to give evetyone the board lied to the prize it said.

Side note… I personally spent 20K+ Clams during the Event. I dropped from Gold to Bronze… but I also watched the Leaderboards as people skyrocketed the last hour of event.
So I can guarantee you that being a Premium Player had absolutely nothing to do with it what so ever. None of my Clam games were “moved up”. My Freemium one did, but thats due to I rushed Mob Rep last minute in that one. More so thousands of Players rushing their Mob Rep last minute. The jump counts were insane that last bit.

Although this was far from my favorite event I would mention two things; one, that the leaderboards were not real-time, which means that where any individual was positioned could change, sometimes drastically, when the leaderboard was updated worldwide, and second, what separated one position from the next was often a single Mob Rep. There were also players who had identical Mob Rep scores. If some added 100 Mob Rep they would move up more than 100 places because there would be so many different players with the same score. I know that when I completed a task and was rewarded 100 Mob Rep I would jump up dramatically on the boards.

Uh huh. Like I said… those making a “last ditch effort” on the Leaderboards could easily jump positions. Especially if they saved all their cookies til the end and bought up Golden Cranes. That is a HUGE boost.

You just didn’t have enough of a margin to make up for last minute changes. About ten minutes before the end (no clams spent) I was just a little below 8000 in rank and wasn’t sure that would be enough of a margin to get the Don. Luckily, it was. But you were too close to the boundary between Don and no Don. A lot can happen in ten seconds. I think my game continued for at least a half hour past the deadline before they removed it, if others were finding the same thing and they were counting what happened during the overtime (I don’t know if they did), that would make more of a difference. But even with ten seconds to go, you were just too close.

I’m stuck right now doing the same tasks over and over. I’m still unlocking Stewie (plutonium drop rates are ridiculous) and am still trying to get two more baby bottles for Finn. Until I get anywhere with those two characters I’m stagnant and have been for days.. It’s boring 😦

Plutonium took me about a month to get, at least it’s a long break to farm coins to clear the land, I had all but 2 rows left by the time I unlocked him

Those balloons are the tuba fiasco all over again. So i need 1 more and I check in on those almost religiously. Need chip to help Peter get bottles for Finn but wait, he cant because he so needs a stinking balloon. Prepared to not get either of them by the 30th.

This WTD is a cross-game WTD.
Every single event, TinyCo goes through the same issues, and never changes regardless of the post-event feedback. Then, TSTO comes out and trolls TinyCo with their expansion.
Every event from TinyCo follows the same script:
We’re going to give you a TON of new buildings/decos!! (TSTO says…yes, and to place them somewhere, we’ll give you land!)
We’re going to have a massive item requirement, with drop rates of “common” to “hahahahahaha….good frickin luck” (TSTO says…yes, you’ll need TONS of items, but they will ALWAYS drop.)
Those items you need, well, we want level 1 players to play this event, so you’ll have to grab 8 different items using 3 characters, but no non-event specific premium characters. (TSTO says…we’re going to go ahead and let you use 36 different characters, including some premium characters, with a premium drop return.)
There will also be a quest line, using one, two, or three of those 3 characters that collect drops, and it’ll be multiple 24 hour tasks where you can’t collect items. Oh, and it’s timed, so set your alarms (TSTO says…the concurrently running quest line will have minimum interaction with your item-earning characters.)
Since this new event is so memory-heavy, expect your game to crash approximately 2,000 times before you settle on storing every building and deco not used for the event. (TSTO says…just like all times, you might occasionally see a crash, but you’ll actually get to play your game with your bustling Springfield just the way it was.)
I keep wondering what’s so hard about listening to constant feedback every single event and implementing any change at all…and then EA comes and crosses off every box. The last 6 events, TinyCo has basically stamped “Premium players only” all over it, so it’s not a money issue.
WTD TinyCo, learn from your mistakes! It can be done!

Except, you’re referring to an expansion specifically designed for high level players. We’ve seen occasions where ea has upset lower levels (needing krabappel) & premium players (the brandine fiasco). I personally find the new expansion boring with a lack of storyline/dialogue. If you’re going to compare the use of premium characters, it’s worth noting that all the premium characters being used in the new expansion are always available for purchase. I think what Tiny Co would benefit from is a larger array of permanent premiums in this case, as opposed to having so many event characters.

Yeah, I’m on level 22 in TSTO and can look longingly at the new land but no touch… My tunnel to paradise will be rubble for a long time! But as consolation, I did just get the lawyer in a mystery box so I’ve been having fun letting Mr. Burns ride him piggyback.

Really, they’re two very different games. I like them both, but Family Guy is certainly more of a challenge. I always have to prioritize what I can expect to do or get in FG events, because there are constraints on what is possible for me for lack of time or money (I don’t buy clams). Sometimes I miss getting something I really want. If you feel frustrated by it, just play something else. Games are supposed to be fun. If it’s no longer fun for you- there are skatillions of alternatives.

What is so hard about getting more land not related to District land. Simpsons tap out game gets land every other week with plenty to spare. I might have to switch games if Family guy wont give us the land we need to build the new Quahog. Im just saying 4 big pieces of land shouldnt be that hard to create considering all the events that are being created. Id rather have land right now then any new events. WTD

The Simpsons game seems much simpler graphically to me than the Family Guy game. Maybe that’s why more land takes up more server resources for FG than for TSTO.

Well the only thing Im still upset about is they haven’t returned my School Girl Tricia to me. I CREATED her and then was kicked out of the mob event and wasnt let back into the game until a week later like most of u family addicts. No Tricia outfit anywhere. I contacted tinyco thru the game message and they haven’t responded to me about it. It took me forever to save up the 20000 cookies to make the dang costume and it really cooks my goose that now Im missing it. Especially since I chose that costume over the Bonnie costume and all the 700 clams I lost trying to get Burnt out Brian. What the Deuce…….

Nope no error message at all it jist does the *poof* thing when u complete something n completely closes my game not even the messsage that usually shows up afterward when the games freezes I even force stop it uninstalled the game reinstalled I even NUKED MY WHOLE TOWN!! Which really grinded my gears…. lol but o well not mad aint like we timed I just hope tiny co responds to me tomorrow o n another thing all my hybrid babies stop spawning as well I was goin to start earning for the billboard which I’m sure a lot of ppl will do as well but I think It’s because I unlocked finn not sure tho

WTD why couldn’t they have made the district an event like Halloween so me and hubby could just uninstall the game til it was over? Don’t want spiritistic things in our games. Kind of funny so many people stopped playing over problems with past events and we’ll stop playing over bad content.

You might point out that some people have religious objections to the theme of the new district, so they might let people skip it as a prerequisite for any new districts beyond it, just keep it as a special optional district. Be nice about it, though. It probably just didn’t occur to them that this district might be objectionable to some at a different level than all the other stuff in the game. The fix should be simple, either making it optional for everybody or on a case by case basis. Then you can just avoid entering the district and nothing about it will trigger.

There are people who object to such things on religious grounds, you could google to find out the exact objections. I know that some Christians object to some things like ouiji boards and fortune telling. I’ve seen references to biblical passages warning against something sometimes translated as “spiritist” practices. When I was a kid, one of my friends said her parents wouldn’t let her play cards with the face cards in the deck, can’t remember why but we just would remove them and continue with the game. Anyway, people have the right to their beliefs as long as they aren’t hurting anybody, and it would seem easy to work around the problem with the new district for FG fans to whom it matters.

Hmm I’ve not heard about that kinda thing before like with the face cards. I’m Christian but I don’t know a specific problem with fortune telling. Maybe it’s a different branch or a more strict one. Was just interested, as there’s a lot in the show/game to disagree on, but that’s generally the point of the show. I watch it knowing that I guess. I like seeing different people’s opinions/experiences. No harm in messaging anyway.

WTD, I have 2/7 baby bottles for Finn and only a few days to get 5 more but at the rate they are dropping I’d need more time, even with Chip finally helping out the drop rate is terrible, I would suggest more characters to help or making them uncommon or even extend the event by a couple of days.

WTD!The red baloons are ridicolous. Almost all the thing to get Finn and only two red baloons(I have mor baby powder with only Peter working on it)
WTD!For the red baloons I buyed jack, only to find that you have to level him up to unlock the action to earn them, only to find that it was 12 hours and not 8. If you put a premium character to earn stuff make him do it from level 1 and with the timing of every other characters.

OK, I don’t mind the free clams, but is there any other way of getting free clams rather than having to watch 5-6 advertisements at a time. It gets so annoying when the ads are not related to Family Guy (Or TinyCo), it gets so annoying when you have to just sit through advertisements just to get the free clams. Seriously WTD

A lot of us don’t even get the ads. The only other way to get clams is friend visits (or Ollieland) something like 5 max per week.

Just visit Ollieland faithfully once a day, and you’ll pick up a few clams every week. Very occasionally you can get some free clams in quests. The clam TV can be bypassed, just don’t click on it or hit the No button if you do. Nobody’s forcing you to watch. It’s a new revenue stream for the company, hence the clams as your reward for watching. I like it since I don’t buy clams with real money, this way I get clams and support the company without paying out a dime. If you want the clams, you do have to watch the video. Or at least let it run. Nobody will prop your eyelids open and force you to watch….

TinyCo finally answering e-mail from last event where I lost out on getting Nathan Fillion abd Bryan Cranston due to yet another glitch. Too dang late again. I am enjoying the new event in the Simpsons Tapped out though. Wish TinyCo could follow their lead in so many ways. More land, tasks that can be done as a freemium player in a reasonable amount of time. WTF TinyCo? Step up!

So frustrating that I haven’t received my leaderboard prizes from the mobster event still that I worked so hard for… I in game messaged them 5 times with no response and I emailed them directly twice and got a response from them that said “thank you for contacting us. We’ll get back to you in a short while” and that was sent on Tuesday… I can’t believe I’m still waiting we’ve done a couple mini events and now a land expansion and still haven’t received my prizes. tinyco is really disappointing me WTD

Oh my goodness more organization PLEASE!! Perhaps a way to break it down further by event/category or add a search bar. Also having been playing for more than a year and being totally maxed out I’ve acquired SOOOO many items (not complaining about that) that it makes it TERRIBLY difficult to organize my town.. In fact it’s not organized anymore at all. I think it would be super convenient if there were preset layouts you could utilize and build off of based solely on freemium content to make it fair and leave room to add any premium items bought. This could be a whole organized town or section (i.e. After an event an area would be designed utilizing some or all of the new items released and you can choose to have those items displayed in your town based on the preset layout). I know that’s asking a lot, but the idea of sorting everything everytime new items and land are released is daunting. But THANK YOU FOR THE VACUUM BUTTON ❤ I would have paid $100 I don't have for that button.

If your game is saved to an email or Facebook so you can log out and in…. try a complete wipe from your device. Clear cach/data, uninstall, restart device, reinstall.
Keep in mind though… this game takes a LOT of space. Especially during highly active events.

For the leashes I found that if you just click on the hybrid babies that spawn every 2hrs you’ll get the leashes a lot faster than if u send Brian to do the task. Doing it that way I actually got the leashes all done first before I unlocked anything else. But I agree with u on the bottles they seem impossible like the red balloons.

I appreciate the land added. BUT… it’s not enough. We have all these new buildings from the mini event and the new district, we have all theses buildings from the past events and stuff, the point of this game is to collect stuff and “rebuild quahog”. How do we do that if we can’t fit all the buildings and make it look nice? Please, give us more land. Please tinyco!!! WTD???

My manger threatened to write me up at work because some of the people under me are not being “neat enough” wrapping up the hose and it is a “disgrace”. So I am supposed to insure they do things WHEN I AM NOT THERE! WTD

My WTD is Baby bottles drop rates.. on the bright side we still have till Thursday, and Madame Claude’s drop rates are pretty balanced so I’m happy 😀

WTD!!! I have a ton of land , (I only started playing during the Star Trek event) I have yet to unlock District 10, So I like that they gave us a District 11, and I love the theme of it, but seriously, with each and every district they give us, we get some land, but then we have like 10+ new buildings and 10+ new decos, and of course you know TinyCo is gearing up for another 5 week + event which will give us 10+ new buildings & Decos,,probably more like 15+ of each, so just give the people want they want,,,more (non-District land), it cannot be difficult to write the code for green grass land,,just give people 4 districts worth of land that they can spend their millions of coins on and then you wont need to listen to the endless number of emails I’m sure you get every week asking for more land.
I have more free land then I know what to do with at the moment, but I can still see that with all of the events you give us, the people who have been with you since the beginning must have Zero free space and have to put all decos and several buildings in storage,,GIVE THEM MORE LAND!!

Ditto. I bought a new item and realized I didn’t have the room to place it where I wanted, so I had to back out and put some stuff away to free up land. I wasn’t paying attention and accidentally packed up a building that was currently dropping loot for an unlock and it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack of buildings. I saw some I forgot I even had from last year’s Comic Con and like 9 banks (lol).

WTD is with the red balloons?? It’s the tubas all over for me! I had no problem getting the dingo collars for Chip and Finn, got them all in less than a day each. But here it is almost six says later, and I have 1 balloon! That’s not rare, that’s epic!!

hang in there.. I got all I needed for Chip without using clams.. I’m still working on Finn. Claudia is moving right along… maybe I just got lucky?

FINALLY got Chip, and only because they gave Jack the ability to drop the balloons every time. Now it’s the bottles that aren’t dropping…another “rare” item!

WTD? I’m am going to have Madame Claude before I get Finn???
WTD? All of my Star Trek characters have already reached max level, but Tom Tucker is only at level 24???
WTD? Is Mr. Washee Washee the new Vinny? Leveling up at 8 hours at a time? Good thing is his max level is only 15, not 25 like Vinny.
WTD? With all of the new items associated with the new district, we still don’t have enough land!! We need LAND TinyCo!!!

Yep. I got her first because the baby bottle drops are horrible. So much for new district characters being meant to take longer to unlock.
And what is up with trading in 5 zombies and getting one back?!? Reminds me of another game where you forked over one color egg to get less of another…

Star Trek characters are only level 15.. I’m still working on maxingbl them and Tom Tucker… this should be my last day for all of them to get maxxed. 🙂
