Hey there Tribblemakers!
Looks like TinyCo is really on a roll with giving Players what they have been asking for. Especially when it comes to items that were previously released in the game. It’s time to bring back some MORE cool stuff.
This time around it is Characters/Costumes from around Halloween 2014. This will be a timed Mini Weekend Event.
HALLOWEEN WEEKEND ENDS MONDAY, AUGUST 10TH, 2015 @3PM PACIFIC
Let’s take a look at the returning items.
Just like before, it will all depend on WHO you already have in your game on what you will see with this release.
Most of these Characters we already own, so feel free to share your info with others too. You will need to be in at LEAST District 3 with Al’s completely built/repaired in order to see this content.
Also, you CAN still purchase/earn these even if you do not have the Character unlocked in your game yet. They will just wait in the Inventory/Al’s until you unlock the Character they go on.
UPDATE: The information provided was incorrect. You WILL have had to reach the District these Characters are Unlocked in the game and have them walking your Quahog Streets in order to have access to the Costumes and collection. Sorry.
If you do NOT have the Characters in your game yet, you will see the images “Locked”. They will remain locked until you have the Character that the Costume goes to in your game or until the Event does. Whatever comes first.

***In regards to the Founding Father Voodoo Doll, we were already aware the item image did not show up and still waiting for confirmation if the option was pulled/changed from TinyCo. In the meantime, do not count on it as a drop site. This should have been fixed and they should be dropping now as intended.

Madame Google’s Fortunes: 100 Clams, $40 & 25XP every 6hrs
Quahog Cannery: $1500, 12hrs Build time, $60 & 40XP every 12hrs
DECORATIONS
Spider’s Sanctuary Tree: $750
Buddy the Gargoyle: $1250
Scary Tomb: $500 (this is the generic tomb you dug Diane and Francis out of during Halloween 2014)
GHOST SQUATTERS
The Ghost Squatters will help you to earn Souls in a Jar for both Connie and Meg. They can be found wandering your Quahog Streets. Just tap on them to clear them.
For each Ghost Squatter tapped, you will get one Souls in a Jar.

SPAWN: 2 every 2hrs for a MAX of 6 in your town at a time.
The Ghost Squatters did not appear until after I completed Supernatural Summer Part 1. As soon as I completed it, 6 ***poofed*** into my game on the sidewalks.
There you go. Some more spooky fun items to add to the already macabre theme going on in our games right now.

I was missing Pink Brian in the Halloween costume collection, so getting him only really cost me 50 clams (75 clam purchase minus the 25 clam award for completing collection). Overall not a bad deal.

Really loving the game recently with some very attainable content. I already have these from original release, but well done to TinyCo for bringing them back, gives many players an additional chance at them. It also gives me some time to level up and continue to try to unlock the recent release graveyard characters.

Still no item showing for the founding father. Have messaged in game asking for a reduction in voodoo dolls as the costume is unobtainable without clams as far as I can see due to this issue 😦

Instead of assuming, why don’t you check your comment info. “In moderation” means just that. We are human beings, shocking I know, not robots. So we will not be around 24/7 to babysit and monitor the site. We do need time to eat, sleep, and do other human things. Please respect that. So instead of accusing someone of “deleting” a comment… have patience and WAIT. Your comment was still there, in moderation, waiting patiently for one of us humans to wake up from the middle of the night and answer your comment (as you posted it in the middle of the night for us…230AM to be more exact). 😉

As far as the locked characters costumes, I believe they also need to be leveled up to 5 before the costume will be available. I just got Brian a few days ago but it will not let me collect for the pink costume yet. Just a heads up to anyone else still behind 🙂

Ghost and any other timed items do not come out during the 2 hour frame they say. I have watched the past several events and it never happens, why?

Not sure what you are meaning. Mine are spawning just fine. I see them every 2hrs popping out on my sidewalks. My suggestion is this… see WHERE your roads are in your game. If you have a lot of them hidden behind buildings and decorations, it is going to be very difficult for you to visually see any of them. Keep your roads in areas you can see. Limit them if you need too. The Ghosts are almost white, so they easily blend into the environment.

If there’s a quest to clear squatters or they are needed to get a costume, an easy way to find them is to just hit the GO button in the quest window or in the popup in the costume shop showing the different ways the time can be obtained. Lots easier than searching all over town for them.

Since Bonnie also has the option of dropping Chumba Wumba Flutes but the Voodoo Doll is an always drop, will the flutes ever drop? Thanks

You may see one sneak in, but they will resume just fine after the Voodoo Dolls are done. Flutes are part of a District and here to stay forever. So no worries there.

I put my brewery in storage and those drops went away. Only problem now is there’s so much in storage that I can’t find it to put it back.

This is one I doubt I can complete, as I will be out of range all day tomorrow, and I doubt this can be done in 2 days. Also, my founding father is not offering the voodoo dolls as a drop option, and I not only made sure to change the skin, but after I did, I restarted the game.

Also, in case it was just a visual glitch, I waited until it cycled to see if it dropped the doll, as it was an always drop, and it did not do so.

I’m actually really happy about this event. I have all of these characters, so I don’t need to participate in this event. There are a few however that I’ve missed along the way (Jesus!) due to lack of clams mainly. So this gives me time to focus on the new district unlocking, and a higher hope that this happens in the future with other characters I want. 🙂

Just hopeing even though I kinda wish not for a chance to get the ghostbusters costume for Cleveland and joe. I just want Connie’s outfit but if I get Meg’s as well that is cool. I came in to the game during October and missed out on some stuff. I gobbled up some gargoyle statues which is a thanks to this event.

Already have the items for this event, and I have mixed feelings regarding this one; let me explain.
I’m glad newer players get a chance to get stuff they missed. I know I would want the opportunity, if it were me. However, these were originally presented as limited-time items. A lot of us spent clams in order to guarantee getting them. If we knew there would be additional opportunities, we might not have spent the clams.

I believe that’s why Brian and Stewie are clams. Many did get them free when first offered… but time was put into them.
So it’s a fine line balance they have to play.

I started playing this game in October of last year. I was able to unlock Meg’s, Connie’s and Stewie’s skins in the event without spending clams on them. The only one I had to pay clams for was Pink Brian and that was during the Best of event some months ago and that was 100 clams minus the 25 I got back for completing the collection.

Also thought I’d mention that two other items that appeared for me in the shop to buy that aren’t listed are the Quahog Cannery building and the Scary Tomb decoration. Sadly the cannery doesn’t give anything for the event.

I bought them real quick so didn’t memorize the prices, but pretty sure the cannery was 4000 like before, and the tomb was 500. I only started playing a few weeks ago, so hoping they keep throwing old stuff in every now and again for me to earn lol.

I’ve had a questline pop up, with only one part, it included buying Stewie’s duck costume and having Stu do target practice. It all happened so fast I even forgot what the questline’s name was 🙂

Others are getting a kick out of it. If it’s not for you, then it’s not, but that doesn’t mean it is not awesome to someone else. I for one am glad they brought them back. I didn’t buy the Emo-Globin the first time round and wanted it. Now it’s back. 😉

I have all this old stuff as well, but I am happy to see it return for two reasons:
1. It gives new players and others who missed out the chance to fill their collection
2. It gives those of us who have collected previous items a BREAK for once!
I hate how TinyCo has back-to-back-to-back events without any downtime. I would like to relax sometimes … I mean come on, I can’t even take a one week vacation because if I do, then I’ll miss out on something and I’m one of those “completionist” people so it would drive me nuts 😨.

I’m a bit disappointed as I will miss this, but I imagine I would not have been able to finish them anyway, as in previous mini-events, I just fall short of what I need to unlock them. If they have some use for Halloween this year(assuming they do it), I’ll be a bit upset, but if not, I probably wouldn’t end up using them much, so it’s not too bad.

Awesome! I joined the game part way through the Halloween event so didn’t have time to unlock all of the skins. Decided to only go for Vampire Duck Stewie so this is my chance to try and bag the others ^_^
Any word if collecting the skins now will earn you the FaceSpace group still? That’s going to be the deciding factor over whether I pay out clams for Pink Brian or not

Pink Brian was really hard for some Players to earn when he dropped. Not to mention if you did NOT have Brian unlocked in the game, you could not even try. Many had resorted to pay Clams to speed him, unlock him, then try to earn him…. which was a long process of “finding candy” and the right one.
As far as Vampire Duck Stewie, he was also one that took a long while to collect everything needed to earn him.

Bunny, I just asked TinyCo about bringing back Diane Simmons since she is the only one I need to complete that group and they said she is not coming back in this event. I would assume that applies to Mr Weed and Francis Griffin as well. Support said these characters might come back in future events.

I wish they would bring back the ghosts, so I could get (or buy) mr. Weed, didn’t have enough halloween coins (or what the currency was then) with halloween, and my mobile phone gave up, just when I would get the last thing for him on best of 2014.

I already have everything from last Halloween. Except for the only new item for me – the Spider’s Sanctuary Tree. But it is unique and I can only buy one (750 coins).
But at least there is a new quest line to keep me busy.

Arg, I hate when you can’t buy multiples – especially of a decoration. Though this explains why I’m not seeing any of this stuff in my game. And I would have bought more of those spiderweb trees and gargoyles! I have to say, no matter what my grumble may be with this game/TinyCo at times, their artwork is stellar, especially after the first slew of buildings. I am still in love with the Borg cubes and the Borg high school skin (it physically pained me to have to switch back to the plain school for item drops). Which is why I’d love to get multiples of many items! 🙂

I just keep the Borg skin on this school all the time, unless I need the default for getting something like the stuff for Paddy. It why my houses have also had Halloween decorations solidly with the exception of the Christmas and Valentines events.

While I like that they are giving those of us who weren’t around for Halloween 2014 (I started during the American Dad event) a chance to get these skins, I really wish they would have given us at least a couple days between the last event and this. It’s not like too many people would be without something to do. I’m sure most people (aside from maybe those who spent a ton of clams) are still working on the newest district or haven’t even gotten to the newest district yet (I’m personally still in district 10).
Also, I’m guessing we have to finish the first quest (which requires sending Peter to do something) before we start seeing ghosts? Unfortunately I just sent him on a 10 hour task related to District 10.

Why does everything have to be bought with clams? I have over 2 millions in coins and that rarely gets me anything good. Also, when is more land going to added?

Everything is not Clams. The Two girls are earnable, decorations coins. Clams will ALWAYS be around. Something has to keep the game going. 😉

As I already have all of these I won’t have much to do in the game this weekend, as I also finished unlocking all the characters from District 11 yesterday, without using clams too. I’m a little surprised this ends on Monday though, maybe it’s an indication that they’re getting ready to launch the next big event on Thursday, but good luck to you guys who haven’t got these outfits yet, hope you’re able to get them both. 🙂

It is usually calculated by the cost Players would have put into the Character/Costume at the time of release. Many “earned” Characters would cost 800-1200+ Clams to direct buy out. So they factor that in when deciding Clam Cost.

I am really happy to get a chance to collect for these as last time in January they were all for clams. And though I bought mystery boxes then I don’t think I received a single Halloween char lol.
