Phase 4 has been Speaker Blasted into our games. Deadmau5 is droppin da bass, Herbert is trying to impress the kids, Honey Bees attracted a Honey Bear, and a Family Guy:TQFS Player has been added to the game. Hey Carl!
All this crazy New Content just means one thing… New Questlines for the Event. Questlines for the New Character/Costumes added to the game. Characters like Carl. A Player of FG:TQFS.
Let’s take a look at Carl in Quahog and all you will encounter along the way.
First you need to complete Deadmau5 in the Hau5 Part 1 and Unlock Carl.
Carl in Quahog Pt. 1
Carl starts
Have Carl Jump Dance- 6hrs, Earns 2
, 45xp
Have Rockstar Peter Work the Lights- 4hrs, Earns 2, 30xp
Completed Task Earns 10, 15xp
Carl in Quahog Pt. 2
Carl starts
Have Quagmire Sneak Into the Party- 4hrs, Earns 2, 30xp
Have Carl Put on a Light Show- 8hrs, Earns 3, 50xp
Completed Task Earns 10, 15xp
Carl in Quahog Pt. 3
Carl starts
Have Carl Sign Autographs- 2hrs, Earns 1, 20xp
Have Avril Lavigne Rebel- 6hrs, Earns 2, 45xp
Completed Task Earns 8, 10xp

Having a problem with Carl. I unlocked him but I cannot to any of my quests. He isn’t in my storage nothin. When I click on the stage he has a check mark on his box, so where is he?

So, trying to understand your question here… you unlocked Carl, am over on the Concert Stage trying to do the Rockstar Peter Concert??
Do you remember seeing a screen Pop Up actually saying you won him finally? The standard “YOU GOT…” like in this post? If not, double check the Character Tab and Event tab in the Inventory Storage.

Hey Bunny. Off topic – What is tinyco’s email again? I tried messaging in the game but still haven’t heard anything for a week. I am (still) on Alice Cooper, but the Peter encore task is still sitting in my tasker list that I never got credit for finishing.

If it has been a week, and no responses including automated… message them again from in game with a followup. I wouldn’t switch to email. In game gets results faster as all your game info is already linked to the message where as in email… they got to get it all from you.

Has anyone had a glitch when they unlock Carl? I just unlocked him but when I came back it said I hadn’t, but the game collected the necessary items to unlock him! Is there any way to fix this?

Does it say he’s not unlocked? Or is he just grayed out? If so… check storage. I covered it in my Phase 4 Clarification post

Has anyone got any tips to earn a decent amount of glowsticks. I need like 3500 asap

Tasks, questlines, Concerts…. or clams.

If you do the week 4 concerts you only need to spend 4,650 glowsticks (and a bunch of other stuff of course) to perform the first two concerts, and after that you’ll only need to do about 22 more encores to have the 3,500 glowsticks you need! Then if you just another 31 encores you can get your initial expenditure of 4,650 glowsticks back. No biggie, just save up 4,650 glowsticks real quick and you can have that 3,500 in no time.

Honestly while I’m sure it’s cool for Carl to be in the game I could honestly care less about unlocking some random dude. Oh well it let’s me focus my attention elsewhere

You have to unlock Carl, to free the stage up for encores after the Alice concert.. Might as well get started

I hope they can sort out a different way for earning the lighters soon. I got Carl today, so I should be doing the first concert soon. GUDG has dropped one, I can buy the lighter stand but I don’t want to. Not sure how long it will take to get him finished. I hope Carl gets his character, it would be so bad if he missed unlocking him. It’s nice when games do this, I remember the Cheapy D character in Saints Row the Third, and the regen item in SWTOR to acknowledge Dulfy’s work. I need to get that, and the fireworks one.

I though so, but I wasn’t sure on the numbers, because as you said, the concert changes to Herbert who requires lighters. If you didn’t get enough and don’t have the money for the stand, you would get stuck. I see on there that the required number of stars is easier to obtain and gives enough.I got another from GUDG but thought that I would end up needing to buy the stand. Thanks for your help!

I was saying in the other post there were a few not paying attention and spent them on the WRONG item. So it would have caused a Clam Only issue. That is the only reason they added GUDG to drop them. Otherwise… Concerts are the only source outside the Zoopi.

Got Carl and did the Concert,
If people are rushing him, I would note that I believe because I was working on materials for both Carl and DJ Herbert that the Drops may have been better? I mean the materials aren’t all the same but the ones that are I think I had an easier time with because I needed them for both characters so I only got a coin once while collecting form the Golden Bears, if that makes sense?! (LP’s)
Just finished Herbert and waiting to get to the concert, after his task,
I am needing more clams anyway so I am thinking of taking the one that comes with tickets (ends today) as they seem to be a commonly needed material,.
I guess that is what I am talking about too, I thought I would probably be getting that deal but waited until I had collected more tickets while getting the other stuff I needed, if you have enough to wait it out this may help you down the road where if you bought it right away you wouldn’t get the drops now because you had all you needed?
Sorry if this is rambling, I am suffering insomnia, so a little fuzzy! Am lying down after this for much needed sleep. (it wasn’t that the tasks were that bad, just the timing on things was hard to match up so I’ve been cat-napping all weekend) Hoping that I can relax for a few days B4 the next phase!

I do think it is cool that they added a FG:TQFS player into the game. I had actually forgotten about Carl until I saw him show up in the game. I guess Tinyco was waiting for the right event to add him. Well I did get him unlocked yesterday morning. Now just working on getting DJ Herbert unlocked.
