Phase 3 of the Guys In Black Event has crash landed into our silly lil games, and with it MORE aliens, creatures, and things you can’t unsee. Let’s take a look at all the new goodies in store.

Remember, we are pulling information live and updating the post as we can verify the stats in the game. Keep checking back to the post as we will put in the details as soon as we come across them in our games.

First up, the Basics

  • Players will need to have completed Phase 1 Main Questline in order to proceed, Invasion of the Quahog Snatchers.
  • Players will need to be on the App Market Version 1.51.0 or higher in order to see the event. Note: Facebook and Amazon App Markets do have delays of up to 24+ hrs on their launches. Also, you may have to go directly to the App Page to force an update on some devices. http://www.tinyco.com/tinyco-games/family-guy/
  • Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s complete.
  • Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
  • PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
  • Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more

Little Green Man:  50 Neuralyzers. This is a Flash Back Character from the Hauntening Halloween Event that has returned in our games. He can be found in the Shopping Cart. There is currently not any helpful tasks or drops for this Character. Just an optional Character to pick up for something other than Clams.

REPAIR WORLD EXPO TOWERS/ FLASH GORDON

TIMER WARNING ON FLASH GORDON!!!

Ooooooh a Man of the Universe!! During the beginning of the Phase 3 Questline, Savior of the Suburbs, you will be asked to go take a look under the World Expo Towers again. There you will see a Hammer.

Tapping on the Hammer will bring up the REPAIR option (0secs & $10). As soon as you repair the Lamp Post, Flash Gordon will appear to start collecting Materials for. What also will appear and trigger with the repair is his 7 DAY TIMER!!

They will trigger during Savior of the Suburbs Pt. 2. This is a Bad Guy for Phase Three. You will use a mix of up to TWO Characters to battle them to earn Materials for items in the Event. You will be able to see what the Hit Power is and use it to determine what Character will be the best to use to defeat them. I started with 4 in my game.

ALIEN REPTILES

They will trigger during Savior of the Suburbs Pt. 2. These are another Bad Guy for Phase 3. They will be similar to the Alien Squids in that you will gain an item to “launch” at them. I started with 4 in my game.

Once you collected the items needed for them, you will just tap on them, move the item around until the Alien Reptile is in the “Kill Zone” and tap on the check mark to fire it at them. Then collect your rewards.

NOTE: As of 1130PM Eastern, Ming has not arrived yet. I will update more once he is in my game. 

This is yet another Bad Guy for Phase Three, similar to Edgar the Bug & Boris the Animal. You will use a mix of Characters to battle him to earn Materials for items in the Event. You will be able to see what his Hit Power is and use it to determine what Character will be the best to use to defeat him.

Note: You will have to first trigger his information via the Main Questline to unlock some Task/Details for him. You then will also need to wait until he actually appears in the game to start fighting.

JEEB’S PAWN SHOP

In the Event Area of your game, you will see on the upper side a Tall Green Glowing Building. This is Jeeb’s Pawn Shop. This location is where you will be able to EXCHANGE one Material you earn for another you will need during the Event.

For Phase 3, you will see the following kind of Exchange Options (varies by Player)

MEN IN BLACK HQ

In the back center of the Event Area, you will see a Square-ish Building with the roof open so you can see inside. This is the MIB HQ.

The MIB HQ is where you can use acquired Materials collected to CRAFT Buildings, Decorations, and potentially Characters/Costumes for the Event. For this part of the Event, they will have to unlocked in order.

    What is in the Galatic gifts mystery box it says buildings and decorations I’d be pissed if I blew 300 blue blob things on a bush or something stupid lol

      The prizes are World Expo Pavillion, MIB Stewue Statue, MIB Brian Statue, Jack Jeebs Pawn Shop, MIB HQ and World Expo Fountain. So there’s 6 items in total, if you click on the Mystery Box in the store it will give you the option to see the prizes, but they are basically buildings and items from the event area.

    Looks like I traded in 5 Neuralyzers for 1 Arrest Warrant to see what would happen. I couldn’t find out in the game what was being traded in – just a greyed-out icon with a tick covering up the symbol was not at all helpful!

    Glad I could come here to find out what I lost & thankfully doesn’t matter too much since I already have all the buildings that drop stuff so only need more Neuralyzers to stockpile for the next phase (if I ever get that far)!

    I did not purchase the Secret Weapons room but the first time it popped up at a discount it did say 6 warrants every 6 hours. It popped up again yesterday and then said 1 warrant every 6 hours – so it looks like they have corrected a typo. That being said, if people bought it when it said 6 warrants I would hope TC would honour that.

    Can anyone please post here a screenshot of the latest offer pop-up window regarding the discount on the Secret Weapons Room?

    Its currently at a discounted price of 180 (?) clams. The thing is this – I purchased this just now but didn’t read it thoroughly and cannot recall well if there was written whether or not it gives out 6 arrest warrants every 6hrs!

    I would a screenshot of this offer because when I purchased this now it only gave me 1 arrest warrant. So if there is an mistake on tinyco’s side, I’d like to attach this screenshot to get awarded correctly as indicated in the offer!

    Game has been crashing since I installed the update last night, every time I try to clear characters tasks. I sent in a support ticket. I uninstalled and reinstalled but now I cant even get into the game. Now I am getting Consuela error: Config not found for goal: dailygoaltest. Im not sure if support has replied since I cant get into the game. I was just finishing up week 2 and still had a timer For Edgar the bug and was so close to getting him. This is really frustrating.

    I started crashing this morning when hitting the check marks for the daily quest for stuff. Timer is stuck saying 22 hours and 58 minutes. Messaging Tiny Co now.

    I’m still in limbo. I’ve now sent a 5th message to support, asking them to restore the Neuralyzers I lost when Phase 3 went Live. I’m really getting angry about it. If they don’t fix this, I’m just going to stop playing. There are a lot of less frustrating games to play!

      I asked them to keep an eye out for support tickets on this issue as they are not able to see why a Player lost materials during the change in the games they have looked into so far. Hang in there. I am doing what I can too from my end.

          It is on average up to 3 days for them to get through support tickets fully when a new phase hits as many emails are just game play questions flooding in.

          This one, they already checked Russians game and found no cause. As she is the only one they found a ticket on at the time (I do not believe you had messaged in yet) they were unable to resolve what happened. You are the only 2 so far I am seeing with the issue, so keeping an eye on it to see if others had same.

            I have the exact same issue with the daily quest locking my game. I sent the characters from it and now if I click on them with their task complete it freezes. If I leave them alone it wont.

    Game’s been crashing when I try to click on characters who were sent on daily quests (in this case John McLane to spa and Jason to the school). Unfortunately Bruce is at the spa too for his space pilot license task and now he’s stuck there because I can’t click to clear him because John is causing the crash. Every time I reenter the game, it restarts the timer on the daily quests.

    Reported the issue in game. Issue occurred after installing the update. Frustrating with Bruce’s task being 8 hours and Rare with only 2 characters available to collect 11 licenses and a timer running.

    I’m having a problem with the game, it only started a little while ago but when I try open the game it immediately crashes, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn’t help. It seems to have started with the new phase of the game. Is anyone else having this problem? Please help!

    I’m not able to get into my game… loading screen is normal, music starts normally but only plays for a second then I hear almost like a static sound and then game kicks me out. I have tried many times, have restarted phone, playing on iOS with current version to my knowledge- was on week 3 about part 6 I think. Anyone else experiencing this or have any suggestions?

    I’m on Part 6 of the new Phase and I have Ming in the game, but I am unable to tap on him and battle him. Is there another step I need to get to in order to battle Ming?

        Yes, that’s what I tried at first. It was giving me the ‘ding’ associated with clicking on an object, but nothing…So, shutdown device, re-started, cleared cache, etc., opened game, and, yes, now I can battle him…I think I need a new phone…shoot, it’s only two years old…

    I’ve entered game 3 times today just hit week 3

    When I go back in both Hattie and the robot attacking alien and ships there timer has reset to where it was last night and will not count down unless I leave game open

    I don’t know if this is the case for anyone else, but it seems that I have to trigger Flash to move forward from part 1. I don’t have a stockpile of neuralizers to use, and have no options to make new ones without the power ring. I can’t get power rings unless I go to part 2 to trigger the lizards, correct? Bummer….

    When Phase 3 went live overnight, I LOST ALL 15 OF THE NEURALYZERS I HAD SAVED UP. Then I did a battle, won 5 more AND THEY DISAPPEARED TOO! Then magically ONE showed up, and when I looked to see if I could trade in for the first building (which takes 2) I WAS SUDDENLY BACK TO ZERO NEURALYZERS! I’m so mad. I spend a lot of real live $$ on this game (so much that my husband gives me crap about it) and then I lose stuff in the game?? I sent a long explanation/question along with screenshots to customer support. I hope they help me. I’m really really mad about this!

      Very strange as when Phase 3 hit I lost 15 Arrest Warrnts from my stockpile of those. I’ve messaged support also. Hope you get things sorted! Keep us informed please!

      If you’d lost in just multiples of 5 I’d say did you accidentally trade them for Arrest Warrants in Jeeb’s Pawn Shop but you say 1 vanished as well as 15 & 5.

    While I love Flash Gordon this has literally nothing to do with MIB. They should’ve just made it a separate mini-event and shortened the MIB event.

      They said from the start it would be a combined event but I think you’re right, easily of made 2 mini events, but I’m not complaining as I’m really enjoying this one. I guess maybe licensing is only letting them use so much from Men In Black so Flash is the filler

        Oh, I never noticed… I thought it was all MIB themed so I was moderately interested as I liked the movies. I do love the Flash Gordon movie, but this seems a little tacked on without any story transition. The Space Bat battles are brutally hard this week with high energy and only only Lois available

          Phase 3 is a tough one, I agree, even with the premium Flash God it’s slow going, especially as Spacewoman Lois has a very high MISS count on her attacks. Well in my game anyway

    So the Little Green Man costs 50 neuralyzers, and is a full character. I’m tempted to get it, but this means I need to re-accumulate for the buildings in Week 3. Does anyone else think its worth it to get the LGM and then re-accumulate neuralyzers?

    From the profile page, it seems that LGM does not have any animated tasks though… just another character for Tan Lines, correct?

      He didn’t have an animated task when he was released, but one was added after, it’s a 5hr task Go Clubbing. Basically LGM dancing and waving his arms holding glow sticks

        Will delay getting LGM then. Already have enough neuralyzer for first 7 buildings in next phase. Was planning to accumulate more after I get Edgar but I would have automatically moved on to next phase after completing last task of defeating Boris, which just needs 1 more hit. Not too thrilled that Flash Gordon is now a Man In Black, but like in the other comments you all posted, he is prob a filler. I thought MIB movie 2 has more characters. Perhaps that is for Phase 4.
        Can’t complain though as I love this event so far. Drops rates are fair, timely and game play smooth. And I got the Worms!

    Glad I was able to buy all the buildings right away! Flash may have been impossible.

      i had some neuralyzers hoarded i was able to buy all the buildings except the last one .. but ther’es time still esp that Flash needs just 2 (common) jackets from it .. Ming hasn’t appeared for me yet to fight …

      I had a bunch of Neuralyzers saved up too, but they DISAPPEARED! Still haven’t heard back from support. I’m really mad!

    It’s unconscionable that Flash God, incorrectly priced as 250 clams (actually costs 270) only has 4 health. While he does heal quicker, makes no difference if warrants are sparse. So glad I checked that before buying. Also, pretty much forced to repair Flash if you want to start working on Chris.
