Hello There Space Clammers!

Star Trek has taken over Quahog!  A Starfleet Shuttle has conveniently crashed in Quahog and apparently someone decided that the future of the Galaxy should rest on Peter’s shoulders.  (cause that sounds like a smart idea!)  It’s your mission to help Peter save the Galaxy, after all it’d be a pretty boring game if he did it by himself!

Along the way you’ll encounter characters from the USS Enterprise that you’ll have to save (you know save by collecting STUFF).  The second Star Trek character you’ll encounter in the event is Geordi LaForge, Chief Engineer of the USS Enterprise.  Except when he can’t find his visor….

Star Trek Character Profile: William Riker

Hello There Space Clammers!

The Star Trek Event is LIVE!

UPDATE BUNNY 345PM EST 3-20: Android users: Download the 1.7.3 update from the Google Play store for bug fixes!

UPDATE BUNNY 645PM EST: Two things I am noticing in the game. Players without the ship in the Event Area. Patch is almost complete and should be to the games in a bit, so keep checking back. 

Next, players jumping WAY ahead and unlocking Riker before completing “Where No Griffin Has Gone Before” Part 4 to get 35 Tribbles from Quahog. This is creating a conflict due to the jump then sets the Tribble requirement to the Enterprise questline, overwriting the Quahog one. They are aware and seeing how they can better make it so those of us with itchy Fingers (yes, Alissa did this too. 😉 ) can get the Tribble quest in Quahog complete if we jumped ahead. 😉 Patch sent, let us know if the issue is resolved for you. 😉

Also, if you are getting an error mesage… check your app markets first to ensure you have the latest update to the game. 😉

 

Update Alissa 2pm EST: Land issue is fixed as are most issues listed below.  Be sure to update from the App Markets to the latest version…

Star Trek Confirmed & iOS Update

Hey there Minions!

Now that TinyCo has officially confirmed the Star Trek Event my lil icon I posted teased to you, we can now go ahead and let you know that March 19th, 2015 the Family Guy Star Trek Event will be launching into our silly lil games.

Are you excited NOW??!! What are your thoughts for the Event? Excited to see how they play into the Series? Ideas of what we will expect? Let us know.

On the flip side, many iOS players should now be seeing a newer Version in the Market for the App (1.7.1). I am still checking to see if my game is back to normal on that device. 

Just finished updating the newer iOS Version to my devices. All seem to be functioning just fine. One I did have to go through the Beginning of the game til the Menu popped to let me sign back in, but it looks like all is working as intended again. WOOHOO!!! Downside, my cute lil Star Trek Icon is gone. At least we now know it is coming soon. 😉  

You may also see this lil fun thing pop up in your game. Feel free to tap on “ENGAGE” as it will essentially take you to their FB Page and the info for the Upcoming Event.

To Boldly Go Where No Peter Has Gone Before??

Hey there Minions.

I know you all are “patiently” (HAHAHAHAHAH!) waiting for something to come along to break apart the monotony of what this Fine Arts District has brought. No worries, as I have been trying to tell you all… it is the “calm before the storm”.  What on earth am I talking about? Well… lemme just put this lil icon here and let the NERD FREAK OUTS BEGIN!!! 😛Star Trek Peter Icon

But seriously, this is an icon that appeared with no warning… no info… and nothing to verify just when/if this is gonna happen. All I can say is THIS Geeky Nerd Girl is TOTALLY FREAKING THE FRAK OUT!!! Just sayin.

So to let you all join in my Bunny Insanity in the Asylum, I thought it would be fun to step OUTSIDE the norm and have a lil speculation fun. Go grab your Lirpa, get some of the “fight music” cued up, and let’s get this koon-ut-kal-if-fee started!!

UPDATE: Just a warning as I see this spreading. I saw this icon after an iOS/Apple update NOT a TinyCo one was forced on my device. Once back my Family Guy Updated to a 1.7 version. (Other apps did too.) Since then I’m not able to get back in the game now on that iOS device (Android I can still get in fine). The App is no longer in the App Market. And if I try to pull it from my purchases on the cloud… I just get Consuela “Can’t Connect”. I’ve reported it. Feel free to email them too help@tinyco.com

 

UPDATE 3-11: Here are a few links from around on the iOS issue currently going on. My suggestion is to turn OFF any auto App Market updates (if you can) and avoid any changes to your Family Guy App at all costs. Stay on the 1.6.8 version. Do NOT try to find or force the 1.7 Version or your game will not work. 

FYI… TinyCo is well aware of the issue and doing all they can, unfortunately this is NOT anything to do with them. It is ALL on iOS. So all they can do is wait like the rest of us for the App Market to come back… THEN they can make sure the Family Guy App is working as it should be.
