Hello There Space Clammers!
Star Trek has taken over Quahog! A Starfleet Shuttle has conveniently crashed in Quahog and apparently someone decided that the future of the Galaxy should rest on Peter’s shoulders. (cause that sounds like a smart idea!) It’s your mission to help Peter save the Galaxy, after all it’d be a pretty boring game if he did it by himself!
Along the way you’ll encounter characters from the USS Enterprise that you’ll have to save (you know save by collecting STUFF). The very first character you’ll encounter in the event is William Riker, the first officer of the USS Enterprise. And not a very good pilot, since he’s the one who crashed the Shuttlecraft!
Let’s take a look at this space player and just what happens when you unlock him in your Quahog!
As mentioned above William Riker is the one who crashes the Shuttlecraft. So you’ll find him once you’ve repaired it. As with (almost) all characters in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect STUFF.
Here’s a look at what you’ll need to make Riker a permanent addition to your Quahog:
8 Tricorder (Rare)- Earned by: Clearing Beige Tribble OR Clearing Brown Tribble OR Clearing a Yellow Tribble OR Make Peter Watch Space Flicks OR Make Peter Overeat
10 Beard Trimmers (Common)- Earned By: Make Lois Pack Peter’s Underwear OR Make Bonnie Pack Up Joe’s Diapers OR Make Quagmire let the Gerbil Loose
175 Dilithium- Earned by: Tapping Tribbles AND Completing Quests
Riker is the first character you’ll earn in The Next Generation Character Set:
Note that completing this set will earn you 50 Free Clams…freakin’ sweet!
Riker is also the key to the entire event. Unlocking him will unlock your ability to travel to the USS Enterprise and unlock additional Star Trek Characters!
His questline is part of the main questline so you will not unlock any additional questlines for him, however he does come with a complete set of tasks! Tasks that will help you earn more Dilithium Crystals, the event currency for Star Trek. So let’s take a look at Riker’s tasks:

I haven’t got riker at all, he didn’t show up after repairing the shuttle, I’ve been doing the main tasks hoping he’ll show up,, but nothing, where is he?

I have been placing Riker on his 2 hr job to drop Life Support Energy since the moment I unlocked it and I have not received a single one yet. Bonnie has not dropped a single green synthesizer ore yet for me either. Anyone else having a problem with Riker dropping the energy? I feel like I have completely stalled in the storyline because of this…

Since I posted this comment I have had Riker drop 2 Life Support Energy so I was able to move on and start more tasks. So, I am hoping it will continue that way. I still haven’t had Bonnie drop anything yet, but we’ll see over the next day or so.

I have unlocked Riker and sent him to play poker but he has not returned for three days. I have not been able to get to the Enterprise yet and am still playing to get Lois unlocked even though no lipsticks have dropped for the past three days. I have force-closed my ipad and have the latest updates. How do I get Riker back to Quahog? I’ve tried to locate him via the “Facebook” but nothing happens and he is no where in site. I’ve clicked on all th buildings and he is just gone! Help! Thanks!

Riker play poker on the Enterprise. Click on the shuttlecraft it should take you there…

Once aboard the Enterprise, check the Turbolift. The majority of his tasks are in there.

Go to the Enterprise and tap on the Turbolift. He should be there.

Was ferenghi mort timed, because he isnt showing up in my replicator anymore and I haven’t unlocked him yet. I hope I didnt miss the opertunity.

No. If you’re building Starfleet Peter he’ll disappear from the replicator. You can only create 1 outfit at a time in Al’s. Once starfleet is done Mort will return.

He seems to be dropping the green cubes just fine but I literally have not had Bonnie drop a single ore since the event started. I send her on the task three times a day and so far 100% fail rate. The cargo bay has dropped only ones I’ve gotten

Let me just make this clear as many seemed confused. Riker drops yellow Life Support Energy and Bonnie drops Green Synthesizer Ore. They aren’t the same. 😉

I am having the same problem with Bonnie. So far she has not gotten any green synthizer ore and she is on her 10th try.

I have yet for her to drop one. Am building my second Rad Cargo bay for better chances! We’ll see if it works.
On side note, I half expected Bonnie to have a “Swoon over Riker” task or something. Lol

She dropped 3 in a row for me right away, but it’s been a lot leaner since then, maybe 3 additional? Seems streaky with everything – drop a few, nothing for a while, drop a couple…

Actually according to TNG Riker is one of the best pilots in Star Fleet. I blame the crash on faulty equipment as there are numerous examples of the shuttlecrafts breaking down on the show (so maybe Geordi’s fault as chief engineer?). ;-P

I wonder if after the event is over if he will only be left with the 3 tasks that dont require the enterprise. No biggie sinse the 24hr one will still be there but just curious. even king butt has more than that.

I set Riker a task this morning (the 2 hour one to get the little cube thingies) and now he’s just gone. He should be on the enterprise. He’s not part of any of the tasks on the menu and he’s not in Quahog either. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do?

On the enterprise click on the turbo lift. Happened to me .

If he’s stroking his beard he won’t be in the turbolift – he may be hidden behind it or other structures (behind the consoles on top-right wall of the bridge or the sides of the entrances to the shuttlecraft bay.)
As Alissa mentions use Facespace to home in on him.

i had an interesting glitch with him last night. it was for the same job, it said it lasts 10hrs. but when i sent him, the timer had 9mins left!!! stupid me got out of the game for something and when i went back…it reset itself and was just shy of 10hrs…..d’oh! but yes as Alissa mentioned, that job is in the Griffin house.

Bonnie does this all the time with me, and says that her 6 hour ladies’ night has 1 hour left right after I put her in there with a bunch of people doing one hour tasks. It never lasts, though. When the one hour runs out, the game realizes its mistake, and either says one hour again, or the correct amount of time. So don’t worry about it. The game wouldn’t have allowed it to happen.

Thanks for the wonderful character profile description. He is one of the easiest to be unlocked for the event so far.
Do you think I should save my green sythesizer energy for the next phase or craft it now for Latinum loan building since I just got all 3 after a long freaking time.

You may need it to unlock the next District…hard to say currently. Personally, I’d save it for now just to see what you’ll need tomorrow…since the loan building isn’t crucial for the questline. Then you can go back and build that later 🙂
