Hey there Clammers, Bunny hopping on by to make a cute lil cozy spot in our new lil world where you can shout at me…errr…well…comment to me anyway of the big (or lil) glitches and hiccups you are running into with your game. We are bound to run into a few as the game gets its bearings. No worries, they eventually get ironed out and patched up.
So here is a place that you can come to and notify us when you run into troubles with a glitch. This way I can pick up on a trend and let TinyCo know right away so they can work on correcting it. They are quite fantastic to work and communicate with. Very helpful to their players.
So tell me your problems and try to include a few key points like the device you play on and/or what was happening when you experienced the Glitch.
As always, you can use the great design of the game to get further help should you need it. Just a tap of the Menu and go into Help & Support.
UPDATE 4-13 6:45om EST:
TinyCo has found the source of the timing issue with the characters (they start a task and after being left for hours, still have same time remaining as when you left the game.) Update to resolve the issue is in the process along with Bruce Glitch.
Here are a few suggestions from TinyCo to resolve issue in the meantime.
In some cases, if you log off before a character begins an action, the game will not start the action. You will know an action has started when you see the countdown timer appear.When you assign actions, wait until the action countdown timer begins. Once the action is going, it is safe to log off.To be extra sure, we recommend leaving the game running for a minute or two before exiting.
For those of you with the “Bruce” screen continuously popping up, please go to our Bruce Glitch Thread and follow the instructions there. I will continue to update it as I get response back.

Hi. Yesterday I updated to the new Halloween version of Family Guy on my ipad and this morning when I tried to get onto the game it won’t let me on. It keeps coming up with a ‘ENGINE_CONFIG_ERROR’ and will not let me on! I have one candy left to collect for Pink Brain and I am not able to get on to get it! So I have only afew hours to get the last candy! But I need to get onto my game!!! Please will somebody help me ASAP!!!!!! Thank You

As far as the error, it’s been reported but you also need to report it to.
As for Pink Brian, the event was scheduled to end October 4th 12pm PDT.

iPhone 5s, pink Brian says I have 22hrs left but I have 5/3, 4/3, 3/4….if I click pumpkin it says -you haven’t unlocked this yet keep finishing task to unlock it. And when I click to visit friends on fb it closes app.

help help bunny have a family guy charactor stuck in fragrance factory, and when I click on factory it close instantly app, got tons of bottles but cannot craft colognes.

No character uses the factory. When you see the check mark over it it means you’ve collected enough bottles to craft cologne. Tap on the Mayor West Icon from your task bar, that should help open it up to craft colognes. If it still doesn’t work contact TinyCo and let them know.. 🙂

When the game is loading, I get a “Config empty for id koolAidRockOut in DualAction.” I was playing just fine a couple of hours ago. Android 4.4.2. I reinstalled but get same error.

Trying to get ‘pink Brian’, but every time i pick the box on the side or the pumpkin the game shuts down. Ive restarted the game a few times but still getting the same problem. Any suggestions?

Peter is still glitch ing out when he is in a cut scene. Yesterday was the first time I saw him since district 9 opened up, the celebration was short lived as the next little scene went back to garbled Peter. I play on a Samsung Note 3

Hey so I’ve been getting a weird glitch. I keep having to collect items to unlock Jail House Meg again…but I already unlocked her like a few days after she came out. Also what’s weird is that all my costumes in Al Harringtons write “use now” under them…I’m scared if they randomly disappear or something. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi! Has anyone else had trouble with getting the pink Brian? I JUST collected my last candy (a red piece) and then hit claim. Then my game froze. When I reloaded it, all I had left was a so glue purple piece (it was the only color I had that I had more than the required amount of)
If this is going to short me that little pink son of a bitch, then I’ll be madder than that time I was really mad!

Pink Brian glitch…. Just got the final candy for Pink Brian – got the final screen saying it was unlocked but then the game didn’t return to the normal screen. Going back in again (ie reloading the game) all three Pink Brian candy totals has been reset to zero so no chance of completely task now. Grrrrr.

Finnally got all the candy for the pik brian and when right when i clicked on the pumpkin aand was so happy and exited to see it… Nothing hapened the Pumpkin dissapeared and i gotno pink brian. The absolute sorrow Q~Q.

Every time i click on fragrance factory, or click on the task in the menu, my game crashes/force closes. I know a few people have been having this similar issue. Any word if tiny Co is working on it?

The timer for the Endless Summer event is counting down in local time not pdt as the game says. The timer on my game is approx 17 hours ahead of where it should be i.e. Sept 27 (today) at 3.45pm pdt the timer reads 2d6h instead of 2d23h. I have sent a couple of in game messages and so far the only response has been to send a screen shot which I have done. Do you think that I will get a result before the time runs out on this event? I would really like to get the Kool-Aid Man.

Looks like the timers have gone from the game which could be a response to this issue. Anyway I’m only one ice cube away from getting Kool-Aid Man so would have made it even with the timer error. Happy camper 🙂

I’m pretty sure that the Stewie Tea Party event is over and unfortunately I was unable to collect all the items before his costume disappeared feom the costume shop. However, all the characters that had quests pertaining to the Stewie Tea Party costume items are still showing the items in their task lists and if I make them perform those tasks, I still get rewarded with the Stewie item but it doesn’t go to anything anymore. It still goes up to the corner like its being collected, but the count bar doesn’t show up and there are no other costumes in the shop that use those items.

When I’m visiting my friends to do my daily collecting I get 2 done and the game kicks me off, then when I go back to it what I’ve done already hasn’t been counted for, this has been happening for a few wks now, also my candy buckets only appear every 2 days I’ve got 3 pieces of candy since it started and I get on my game several times a day around the same times each day too.

3 weeks no access to game ‘requesting empty assetId’… Sent over 300 emails…. Not a single word from support. Extremely disappointed. Take your money, then lock you out of the game for almost a month. Does anyone know where we can actually get support?

Hang in there. Some glitches take longer to resolve than others. Especially buried ones.
Many updates/patches have hit recently. May I ask when the last time you completely wiped out the app (including from the cloud backup if you have it there), restarted device, reinstalled, then logged back into your saved game?

About 10 minutes ago… Nothing is working. Recognizes my name and facebook acc. Recognizes my level. All my city loads in the background and I keep getting ‘requesting empty assetId’
Friends can still visit my acc, my city still loads on everyone else’s games… Very frustrating! Sent them every detail possible. Angers me paying for goods I can’t even use and support has not responded to anything!

I get it. Honestly. It’s not easy to want to play and you can’t. I am an Addict myself to games so I totally get it.
I am also looking at tech side. Your issue is a unique one. They may be still digging to find the cause. Sadly technical issues deep in a game just are impossible to fix quick. Some need more time just to find. Then when found there’s all the testing to find what will work to fix it. It’s a timely process. More involved.
Hang in there. I put in a request to see what feedback I get for that error.
On another side…I assume emails due to can’t get in game to use menu. Have you checked junk/spam on your side also just to make sure a response didn’t get caught in your filter?

I get their automated response… No manned response. I’m getting these. Checked junk daily. They’re just not bothering. I’d be happy if they even have me an explanation like you have, but nothing for 3 weeks is completely incompetent from ‘Support’

I understand. A bit of perspective on a corporation. A million people emailing you daily make it impossible to personally respond to each one. The automated is there so you know they got it and are looking into it.
If there’s nothing to report to you on, there’s not a point to an email. They won’t respond back unless they need more info, need to verify something, or want you to see if patch fixed it. If you provided detailed reports, that helped them to not have to possibly seek more info.
Every game house I’ve dealt with is the same. Emails are first contact (usually auto), need more info, then resolved check your game.
Not as fancy or personal as we may like or want, but only way possible for them to handle mass amounts of players.

I’m having a problem with the Jailhouse Meg storyline though I am not sure if it’s a glitch or not. The next mission is to build the prison watchtowers but they are locked in the Shop. I have leveled up to lvl 42 but they are still locked. Am I just not far enough along yet?

Just wait. You need to unlock the District 9 in order to continue on with that quest further. Than you will be able to get them. 😉

I am playing on an android device with android v4.0. I have had stripper Bonnie since before the comic con event ended, and I finally bought the sripper pole today for the champaign room task. After I purchased it, the task dissapeared from Bonnie’s task list, so I am not able to select the task for her. Have you heard of this glitch, because I couldn’t find anything about it anywhere.

I’m having an issue with visiting friends. When I go to some friends places, when I click on their people to get coins nothing with drop but the check marks disappear and then about a minute later the game crashes. I play on an iPhone and this has been happening since before the latest ISO update. I used the tinyco help section n closed all other apps n tried restarting my phone. I also tried a fellow gamers suggestion of not clicking on the coins that do drop n let them collect themselves. None of this has worked. Still crashing. I was going to report it to tinyco but it said to include my username and I’m not sure what it is. I log in using Facebook. Lol. Hope this was descriptive enough.

Your user name then is your Facebook name. Mainly they look for a Player ID. That is in Menu, Account, and that LONG string of numbers lower right side.

George Takei no longer appears in FaceSpace. He still appears in game, and I can get to his FaceSpace by clicking the link when selecting him, but if I go into the main FaceSpace section, all other characters appear except for him. (I did not unlock Bryan Cranston or Nathan Fillion) Unsure if anyone else has this problem.

Few others are reporting the same issue. Best thing to do is contact TinyCo. HOWEVER….it may take a while for them to get back to you, as they’re currently working on issues of locked out games and questline stalls.

I can’t create Stripper Bonnie or Navy Quaqmire. The game is not counting or giving me credit for any of the items I earn with the exception of the high heels. No earrings, pantyhose or pole wax. I was able to earn all items for Quaquire with the exception of his hats. Again, the game is not counting what I earned.

I got an email from TinyCo support stating that they pushed through a fix and I should restart my game. That was at 7:30pm EST. As of 10:54pm EST, still getting the load error.

My glitch – all of the sudden the flaming garden showed up in my game and deducted 175 clams from my game. Clams are so grad to get there is no way that I would intentionally spend that much on fluff that produces nothing ( no coins, no XP). Can I make the game “undo” somehow? The only option I see is selling it for coins 😦

There’s a glitch with it right now. My suggestion is to contact TinyCo and let them know you’re impacted as well. We’re looking into it with them, but the more people that report it the more they’ll know who/how it’s impacting.

I’m having an issue whereby, when I visit the alternative reality (Ollieland in my case) and click on the completed task check mark I no longer receive the awards (cash/clams) – the characters talk and the check’s disappear after you’ve tapped 3 of them but no rewards 😦
This only started after the latest update (version 1.2.1 ) after ComicCon finished…

I haven’t been able to open the app for over 24 hours. I did the update and now all I get is ‘requesting empty assetid’ and quits. I have emailed support continuously with no response. I’ve saved my game, uninstalled and reinstalled, my profile loads but I get the error and the app quits. This is so frustrating cos everyone else I know who has done the update works. Can anyone help??? There’s no other troubleshooting available & support isn’t helping one bit!

Try to clear all the cache and data for the app from your device. (Cloud too if you have it saved there.) Then try again to uninstall, restart the device, and reinstall. See if that helps.

If your game is saved to an email or Facebook, then you won’t. Once all is cleared out and refreshed and a new install added, just a few steps to log back in and the game you saved will download to your device from the email or Facebook. If you have already uninstalled/reinstalled before…then it sounds like your game was saved. Is that correct?

Help! Can’t load my game! I get a Consuela screen saying “there was a problem loading this save game; some placements are out of bounds” or something of the sorts. I’ve tried rebooting my phone but it’s no use and I don’t dare reinstall my game – I don’t think it’s saved.
Also, this is the first I’m hearing of Rollocop – it never appeared in my game although I played constantly and unlocked everyone else except for stripper Bonnie and I’m almost done with her. Is he (Rollocop) going to be available later on?
