Hey there Clammers, Bunny hopping on by to make a cute lil cozy spot in our new lil world where you can shout at me…errr…well…comment to me anyway of the big (or lil) glitches and hiccups you are running into with your game. We are bound to run into a few as the game gets its bearings. No worries, they eventually get ironed out and patched up.
So here is a place that you can come to and notify us when you run into troubles with a glitch. This way I can pick up on a trend and let TinyCo know right away so they can work on correcting it. They are quite fantastic to work and communicate with. Very helpful to their players.
So tell me your problems and try to include a few key points like the device you play on and/or what was happening when you experienced the Glitch.
As always, you can use the great design of the game to get further help should you need it. Just a tap of the Menu and go into Help & Support.
UPDATE 4-13 6:45om EST:
TinyCo has found the source of the timing issue with the characters (they start a task and after being left for hours, still have same time remaining as when you left the game.) Update to resolve the issue is in the process along with Bruce Glitch.
Here are a few suggestions from TinyCo to resolve issue in the meantime.
In some cases, if you log off before a character begins an action, the game will not start the action. You will know an action has started when you see the countdown timer appear.When you assign actions, wait until the action countdown timer begins. Once the action is going, it is safe to log off.To be extra sure, we recommend leaving the game running for a minute or two before exiting.
For those of you with the “Bruce” screen continuously popping up, please go to our Bruce Glitch Thread and follow the instructions there. I will continue to update it as I get response back.

I placed the Quaghhog Panel and it has a mission exclamation above it. When I click on it tho it doesn’t do anything.

I have this weird glitch that I’m not sure how to fix. At some point in my inventory a weird building showed up so I decided to place it. Now I can’t remove it and nothing happens when I click on it. It looks like an ancient alien building with some symbols on it and it doesn’t have a name for the building but it pops up as just an exclamation mark ‘!’.

I am stuck on the blimp quest line, currently on “ye olde blimp trippe” pt 4. Says i have to travel back in time with 3 characters to the renaissance era or what ever. Well i dnt have a blimp currently and i dnt have any actions to perform, ive beeb having this issue for weeks now. No blimp.

Bought Consuela using gold medals instead of clams. One of her quests(remembering her abuela) requires her to go into her house, but I don’t have her house and can’t buy it anymore now that I already have the character. So I guess that quest just remains incomplete forever?

Peter is stuck in a loop opening a quest. This happened right after a quest opened for clearing land that had already been cleared.
I got the game from the Microsoft store. I have restarted everything.

i start the game, it says “a new update is available! Please upgrade to the latest version to continue”. there is a green upgrade button. i click the button and am taken to the appstore where i am not given the option to upgrade, only one orange button the says “open”. i have had the game long enough to know that there should be an update button rather than the open button. so there is no option but to click open, which takes me back to the game loading screen where it tells me the game needs to be updated, click the upgrade button…an endless loop which sometimes ends in a green screen of death that requires exiting the program. HELP!!!

Hi, I’ve been trying to finish A Pirate’s Life for Peter pt.2 quest to unlock Seamus and I have all the items too but when I click the lock and then the only remaining item with a check on it the game crashes right away.
I had the same issue when getting this quest itself but I could escape it. This time I can only click on the checked item so I can’t go on with unlocking him.
Anyone else having the same problem or the solution?

Hey there. I came across a possible glitch. I went to the shop to get some of the Beachy Keen buildings. I clicked on the coconut car but then decided I wanted to buy the water taxi instead. But when I x-ed out of buying the coconut car, I lost 100 party supplies (the cost of the car) and the coconut car is no longer in the shop to buy. I checked my inventory and all over the map…no coconut car. Also, I’m not getting any of the banana hammocks that it drops so that tells me it’s not just hiding somewhere in my town. 😉
To sum up, I lost 100 party supplies and the option to buy the coconut car.
Any suggestions on how to get this fixed?

Go to Al Harrington’s, tap on the Banana Hammocks, on the where to get them list click on Coconut Car to see if it takes you to it.

I reinstalled my family guy app and I am trying to restore my game at level 30 yet everytime I click the app boots me to the home screen so when I click it again its the new game that just was created with the new installation

Ive reinstalled the game many a times….when i get to sign into my facebook(im lvl 60) it boots me out of the game completly ive tried many times and does same thing…with exception i once formated my phone and it worked then .i have android 5.5 on a asus zenphone 2 …4 gig ram …64 internal any help will doalso i cleared data and cache thk u

I’m having a weird problem. I recently took all of my characters out of Tan Lines to do tasks and then put them back before the Stewie Bucks drop. I was able to click every one’s finished tasks BUT the Joker. Every time I clicked on the Joker the game closed. I cannot finish him or put him back in Tan Lines. It continues to crash every time I try. I tried to force stop the app but it did nothing.

Anyone else having an issue where after you set characters to task and exit the game, you come back a couple of hours later and they’re all walking around waiting for directions as if you didn’t do anything with them earlier?
This is happening to me a lot these past few weeks. Causing a number of delays in quest line progress.

Yes it has happened to me, usually when I reset task when I’m out and about using data rather than wifi. Now I put them on task, visit Ollieland, exit the game, force close the game and restart it to make sure they are on task.

i had that problem before. I was told to wait a few minutes before leaving the game after assigning tasks, it gives the game time to save the action. Leaving after giving tasks doesn’t give time to save.

This was happening to me, too, until I realized that I was not allowing enough time for the characters to get to the buildings/areas that the assigned tasks required them to go.
So wait until all of your characters have reached the places they need to be for their assigned tasks to begin and the clocks to start their countdowns. Then you can sign out with no problems.

I can’t get Cleveland out of Tan Lines. Everyone else I could check in and out no problem, but he is stuck in there. The game just crashes when I tried to check him out. This has happened for some time so he’s the only one in there now. More recently, when I even try to move towards the water to click on tan lines, the game crashes.

I am unable to check in certain characters to Tan Lines. I’m not speaking of Peter, I’m talking about characters that I just checked out of Tan Lines to do a task It won’t let me check them back in. It won’t even show that they’re available to check in even though they show in the upper left hand task area. Anyone else seeing this? I will send a message to Tinyco

Yes, it is due to characters being used as bait for the tornadoes during this final phase of the Oz event. Once event is finished things will return to normal with Tan Lines.

When I summon ghosts now they do not appear.. it will say you found 4 ghosts but none show up on screen. One of my tasks were to get 10 ghosts so I clicked on that to take me to a ghost, it did, again could not see it but when I clicked on it game froze. Also when I click on concierge desk it freezes as well. Any suggestions? Emailed tiny co no response yet.

Sounds like a possible memory issue, too much going on. What device are you playing on. If you go into game settings look and see if there’s an option to use low memory graphics, if you do have this switch to it, see if that helps.

Is anyone having issues seeing the vampires? I had four of them appear with the seeds, but I could not see any of them. I was only able to “pop” them by using the game’s task feature button of “clear 3 vampires.”

I have already placed the paranormal imports so when I reached give up the ghost 6 where it requires you to place the building before you can go to the next step, it won’t register as placed. I tried putting the building in inventory, restarting my iPad again and then replacing the building, but that didn’t work. Any ideas on what I can do? Thanks for any tips.

Do me a favour try storing then placing the Raiders of the Lost Artifacts building instead, it was one of the last phases prizes. Some are reporting that completes the task. Let us know if it works.

i cannot get quagmire to do any of the tasks all that comes up is the gold tv thing like its loading and he never does anything even if i wait…i have left it over night and still wont gigity strut or do anything else for that matter he is walking around though and doesnt have a lock over his head so he is unlocked…i am using a hp laptop

Are you using the windows app? If you are and you recently started switch to the FB version, or better yet android or apple. TinyCo no longer updates or offers support for the windows version, and the FB one is not optimised for this game.

Is armegedon Stan expired???I tried to get him when I finally got 120 twinkies and it said it was expired so I bought Stan’s bike and petrol building and went back to see if I could get Stan and it says i still can only problem is,is I now have 71 twinkies and need to reach 120 again

When I try to open FG it tries to load on the “Play with headphones..” splash screen but then shuts down with no error message. It was fine this morning but Ive been busy and just now tried it

I wanted to put some characters in Tan Lines and I still have some vacancies, but for some reason some characters can’t check in. Of the characters I have free as of this posting, it’ll allow Tricia, Stewie, and Quagmire to check-in, but it doesn’t seem to register that Joe, Stone Cold Steven Austin, Jerome, Lois, Mort, or Peter are also free to check in.

On Feel The Burn Pt . 2, you have to make Quagmire do wiener curl ups, but Quagmire does not have a wiener curl ups action. This is the only quest that I am on right now so I really have nothing else to do but wait.

Heyyyyyy everybody,
On the “Giant Problems Pt. 3” questline, the required task is to “Make a Giant Mess” which is a 12 hr task, however, when I click on Chris the Giant, the highlighted task is “Clean Mess of Unusual Size,” a 24 hr task. I wrote TinyCo, so if I hear anything, I will return here and let you know 🙂

I play this game on an android, but sometimes when its loading itll stopin the middle and then consula makes alot of “nos” and it sounds like a glitch. I havent been able to load my game for hours because of it, please any help would be nice

Ive been trying to get Seamus to do a quest but it wont let me pull up anything to get him to do so all I get is the loading screen to get him to do actions its been doing it the last couple of days to me and I wait to see if it will load but it just shows the tv moving side to side how do I fix the problem so I can move on in the game.

Sounds like an odd connection issue. Like a crashing or lagging issue. All I can suggest is basing troubleshooting on the site for Crashing outside that… TinyCo

I bought the Patrick and the Ghostface characters and they both show quests but have no activities to do. Also the patrick character shows up as an orange lava monster in game. Neither character has any actions when you tap on them and if you try and do the action from the quest menu an error message pops up.

It was an oops. They’ll be back later when supposed to launch. In meantime a patch will hit removing then and refunding the Clams.

My cinema screen won’t upgrade to the next level. I’ve got up to level 4 and the 2 button appears above the screen. I click on it and has a blank space in the box that had the timer countdown.
The egg timer is there with no clock or anything.

I’ve got a glitch similar to the reported Murder Point glitch where I got Quagmire’s Haunted House, but as I was placing it, it triggered a quest (I forget the name) that needed the house to complete it. However, the house was just gone once I got out of that message for the quest completion. I couldn’t find it anywhere in my town or in my inventory. I even nuked my town just on the off chance that it might get collected and put in my inventory too, but it still didn’t show up.

Yes, nothing… what happen was, I just unlocked the house, and put that back into inventory so I can free up a space for it. Then when I get the space, the house was in inventory but cannot come out… (I tried other buildings in the inventory but they have no problem to get out)… so I closed my game, reloaded, the death’s mom’s house disappeared!!!
The “Death Wish Come True Pt.1” – “Place Death’s Mom’s House” quest was not checked, when I click the “GO” to Movie Projection Booth, the house was checked-out and I am at the next item “Slasher Cat Cave”

Brian- You are correct about the Consuela glitch. Had the same issue with disappearing coins after using her ‘vacuum.’ Contacted the text message within the app and they confirmed it’s a bug that will be fixed in 1.13.0 for Android and 1.13.5 for IOS. Basically when you use the vacuum it miscalculates the amount of coins and adds too many, then subtracts them later, or at least that is what I think they said.

Everytime I start the game it shows that the mission is open, he has the exclimation point above his head. Both tasked have for the mission have been completed, but it will not go away. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice and there has been no change.

Dunno if this is a glich or not but, no matter how I exit the game more often than not it rolls back and I end up losing all the coins I collected from the time I logged back in. I just lost 2500. Which may not seem like much but I don’t have Brian unlocked yet. It’s very discouraging. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Sounds like a possible connection issue. Ensure your game syncs by visiting Ollie or a Neighbor before leaving. Also check the memory availability on your device along with your connection. If you’re playing on a connection that is unstable and going in n out… that game play won’t sync as its not able to communicate the play with the servers. If still happening… contact TinyCo from in game.

I think it’s Consuela’s vacuum honestly. I had 9k coins. Hit her vacuum and it said I got 4k but the total showed 17k. While I was collecting from my finished people it dropped down to normal. I think her vacuum is bugged.

Hi… Just wondering if this is a glitch or what… click the game open, while on wifi at home.. says cannot connect to server… I’ve cleared the cache, forced stop on the app, turned the mobile data on, restarted my phone and uninstalled/reinstalled the game in the play store….. any ideas why I can not connect to server to get into my game? Thank a bunch!

There’s a server down post on the site. It was a mass outage by another system in the US that took tons of apps down.
