Hey There Clammers!
With the introduction of Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff there’s a whole cast of characters to unlock in your rebuild effort of Quahog! These overview posts are designed to give you a quick breakdown of the characters, how you unlock them & their tasks so you can play FGG more efficiently!
Of course there will be those players who don’t want to know the details of unlocking the characters so for that reason we’ll post all of the details below the fold. So if you don’t like to know what’s going on before you play don’t click read more…CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD
With the opening of District 7 let’s take a trip back to Asiantown and take another look at one of the “new” characters in the game. I say “new” because they’ve been teased as locked content since the game was introduced but now they’re finally unlocked! Let’s kick off the District 7 Characters with the second character you’ll be required to unlock in Asiantown…Tricia. So let’s take a look at this newscaster as she constantly seeks her mother’s approval….
Character: Tricia
Unlocked: 15th with a Quest prompt from Peter/Mayor West (not in game yet, but he asks for building)
Building: PF Chinese
Voiced?: Yes
Required to Unlock: Repair PF Chinese ($7,500). Unlock Tricia requires: Make Meg Pop a Zit (12hrs), Make Rambo Lois Do Guerrilla Warfare (1hr), Make Peter do Roadhouse (12hrs), Make Anime Peter Do Super Ultra Mega Fire (4hrs)…so yes, you will be required to unlock Anime Peter to unlock Tricia.

I can’t unlock this character! 😦 every time I tap on her to unlock her the game crashes! I’ve already sent tons of reports and no reply back, does anyone have this problems and know how to help?

I love this game but it’s taking away a lot of my character. some characters I’ve already created that she can’t find him al Harrington and then I go and I passed the inquest on the clipboard but I’m still don’t have no characters back. like I never got them or never created them please help I’d like to get my characters back.

If you have them, and put them into use on the characters…you just need to go to them on your characters screen. Just tap on them. Like if you tap on Peter, you can scroll to the left and/or right and change to all the costumes of his that you own. Try that and let us know.
Otherwise, make sure they are not in your inventory.

I just can’t get the god damn headband from Lois or the video arcade, im gettin’ frustrated 😦

It took three weeks to get the headbands for Rambo Lois and that was only after I bought the Arcade. Now I have to get enough for Anime Peter AND the eyeballs (of which I have exactly 0). It’s becoming frustrating and less fun. I enjoy challenging games because they require brain power- this is not one of those games, lol. Not quite ready to give up though 🙂

2 more eyeball drop failures. Basic statistics lesson for y’all.
If the odds are 5-10% of a drop, then the odds of NOT getting them are 90-95%. After n tries, the odds of NOT getting them would be .9 or .95 times itself n times (shown as .9^n). This is for independent trials (technicality).
So, about 40 tries I have made (at a minimum).
That means the odds of me NOT getting an eyeball are 1% to 13%. Not completely out of the question, but highly unlikely.

With most of the “epic” items, there has been the chance of a building dropping an item, but that is not the case with the eyeball. I have had Dr Hartman constantly doing his task for the eyeball since it was available. Peter has been doing his task most of the time, with a few breaks for other quests. I have 1 eyeball after all this time. I love the game, and haven’t minded the wait for most other items. It is frustrating having to tie up characters performing a task for DAYS on end, only to see no results. I like having the chance of epic items from buildings, it takes pressure off the characters a bit.

I have been trying to get the eyeballs since this update dropped, I have had peter and Hartman doing their tasks at least 4 to 5 time a day straight and I have not gotten on single drop yet!!!!! So close to just paying for anime peter as the drop rate for me is non existent!

On my 4th day of 4 times a day with Peter and the Doc. All I need is 1 eyeball. All I have gotten is 0 eyeballs. Cross fingers for 10:45 tonight.
For those keeping track, that’s 4*4*2 = 32 tries. If I do get 1 this time, the odds are 1:32 or 3.125%

I’ve been trying to get anime Peter since update yet I have NO EYEBALLS YET it’s getting really frustrating at this point I unlocked all characters already except anime Peter n of course tricia don’t make any sense in y I can’t even get one

i’ll hopefully be unlocking tricia today & am a little underwelmed by the fact that she only has 3 doable tasks & 1 that can’t be done until tom is put into the game. i mean, i do all this crap to get to her & there’s only 3 doable tasks?? WTF tinyco??!

It’s still the WAY the rarer items seem to drop. Sure, the first two eyeballs took a while, but I have had Peter and Dr. Hartman working 3-4 times per day on the eyeball for 4-5 days. That’s 24 to 40 attempts. That’s not rare, that’s stingy!

It is completely random and the results are different for everyone. I had Anime Peter completely unlocked by this past Sunday & only started doing the Eye Ripping fun on Saturday (but Dr. Hartman had already earned me 1 eyeball at that point)

Is it possible to cancel a task by storing the building it is performed in, like in TSTO? Or is there any other way to get a character to stop what they are doing?

Unfortunately it’s not. Right now there’s no way to cancel a task with out spending clams 😦

I’ve been working on that last eyeball for two days now. Finally got the 15th hat for Midlife Crisis Lois, only to have to now wait 20 hours for her outfit to be “created.” After collecting all the items, I just can’t figure out the point of then having to wait a day to actually get the outfit.

It is a great question and something I would say to suggest improvement on to TinyCo. They do listen. Just send them a message right from your game.
