Hello There Clammers!
Well here we are (a lil delayed)my friends…the FINAL day of Stewie’s Tea Party. Who’s ready for it to all be over?
Anywho….a bit after 10pm PDT, the last toy change occurred. We’ve gone from collecting Dinosaurs to collecting … COBRA!!! Lol (Destro)
Same rules/tasks apply. Send Peter, Chris, Bruce & Quagmire on 4hr tasks to earn the Action Figure. They SHOULD drop each time they complete the task. (If you’re finding this not to be the case, it’s most likely because the same character will earn another item for you. We’re finding this is the case a lot with Sparkles from Chris & Bruce)
The end time for this toy, and the event, is 10pm PDT tomorrow….so that’s 10pm PDT on 7/22/14, 1am EDT on 7/23/14 & 6am BST on 7/23/14 (0500GMT for our friends that aren’t in those time zones). Basically 24hrs from when the toy changed.
There are a few things we can confirm with this toy change…
-IF you have a character on a task to earn this toy and the toy changes before they complete the task, the new toy will fall from the character when the task is complete.
-If you’re having trouble getting the box to come up…go into your shopping cart and go to the featured tab. The box should be there if you have enough toys (6,14 & 24).
-You cannot win doubles from the box. Once you’ve won an item it will disappear. HOWEVER….if you already have an item (if you purchased it) you can win it again in the box. ie if you purchased a Koi Pond for District 7, you can also win one in the box. But once you win it, it will disappear.
-Currently, we don’t know if Rupert will be available for clams after the event is over. I know he shows up on Facespace as a character you buy, but as of right now we don’t know if he’ll be available. Once we have an answer on it we’ll let you guys know.
So that about does it my friends. Same tasks, new toy.

I have used so many clams to unlock Rupert opening at least 2 a day apart from Sunday , Monday and today where I opened 3 boxes and still no Rupert , I got things I already had is this normal , because it’s a little out of order in my few ?

There are 12 prizes (it does not matter what you already have). So everyone started with same 12. Once you win one, it goes away. So if 3 opened each day, that would have left 3 remaining today.

Im getting nervous I have 2 boxes left and I missed 2 so far so only a 50% chance. I started used about 50 of my consuela clams so far and I need your good vibes cyber they worked last time. please send some.

Finally got my Rupert! Had 4 prizes left when I got him. So glad that he wasn’t the only thing left on the table when today is over (misse one on the first day), however I am upset that I didn’t get him on the first day to take advantage of the salon glitch. I would like to have a few of them around my town. I did also get all of the premium items except the spotlights so far, and I still have two prizes left today. Will not be spending clams to speed through any more of them though toake sure I get them as I may fall asleep since I work overnights and still need to rest. Glad I got my Rupert, now to try to finish off Stewie and carter before the superheroes show up! Though I don’t think I will have Stewie by then. Carter is highly probable though!

Some still state they have the glitch, but you have to do it the minute you win Rupert. If you leave the game at anytime after, it clears it out.

I have loved this event. By being smart with my timing of tasks I haven’t lost any sleep and opened 3 boxes a day. I did buy Stewies sandbox but I feel I’ll get more than the value back in terms of prizes won. I have one more box to open in 3 hours which contains Rubert surprise surprise lol.

Nice. I do like they made it more fair in that once a prize was won, it went away. So it made for a lot better odds. 😉

I got Rupert today, placed the bear builders, then my game crashed. Reloaded and Rupert was gone. Contacted them but no reply

Give them a bit to respond. It takes a bit for them to get to each issue, go into your game, locate problem, find a solution, and get back to you. 😉

I really think that for the next mini event like this, there should be more than just 4 characters that do the tasks. Plus I think the tasks should be shorter, like 2 hours instead of 4. I have a 2 in 5 shot of getting Rupert today and I have a feeling I won’t get him even though I spent $5 on clams to speed things up because of how far behind I was. Not to mention I still need 1 satchel to get falconer peter and 10 banana peels for pb&j Brian, I need everything for Stewie and Carter and, with the new event hitting on the 31st for me, I know I won’t have them all finished. I was all caught up before Stewie hit and I thought that, since we had just finished a major event and a mini event, that I would have plenty of time to do what I had to do before the next event, but now I feel rushed. : (

Honestly, use your contact links to them to give some feedback. Menu, Help & Settings, contact TinyCo. They are listening and watching. Still a newish game, but they are adapting and growing with the players. Feedback is great. 😉

Spent clams on day 1 to rush & get all chances. No Rupert. Have hit every tea party available, no Rupert. I guess I can get him on my last try if all goes well today. But seeing as so many people got him right away and with an awesome glitch, I’m kinda bummed. It really would’ve been nice to have a chance for clams, which I’m guessing only happens once you’ve cleared all other prizes? Also, I learned something from this event. I had already bought the decorations AND buildings that are offered as prizes. I’ve had the Shanty for a while. During the lull in gameplay, I bought Herbert’s Ice Cream truck & placed it by the playgrounds, lol. I really don’t want or need 2 of them, or Dansu Dansu, or the bubbly fountain, or the Shanty…. Moral of this story: Don’t buy anything, ever! If it’s not part of a quest, don’t buy it! Even then, it will probably come up as a consolation prize eventually.

Awwww hang in there. Overall they are doing a great job at adapting to these events. Yes, prizes were doubles IF you had them before…but just once. I liked it was a set 12 and no more. Made odds a lot better for everyone involved. Never know, Rupert may still hang round after the event and another option to get him offered.
I would suggest that you give some feedback to TinyCo on the event. They are listening and watching and appreciate constructive criticism on the game. They are doing great and changing and growing with this still newish game. 😉

2 Boxes to go and 3 items left to get, pirate Car, Dansu and RUPERT, lets have a guess which one I won’t get!
I am torn with this event, I think its great that you have premium items which you can get for free, and the fact there is no repeat on items (other that those you already had) so you have a good chance of getting something good. My issue is that unless you were on the ball the first day you would never get the chance to open all boxes and get Rupert for sure. So despite working hard, waking up in the middle of the night like a loser and spending a few clams to speed before the change over. Its still all up to chance.

This is bull-honkey! I won every prize EXCEPT Rupert because on Day 1 I didn’t get 24 toys. I got EVERY OTHER opportunity except that one and because of it I didn’t get Rupert. It seems that everyone else got Rupert and I think this is bull…

Right there with you, Kitten. He’s now waiting in that last prize box…(“hang in there, Rupert…coming for you, Buddy!). I’m just waiting for the next couple of toy harvesting cycles for the “big” reveal. Wish I could of gotton a “TADA” moment earlier in the event…..but glad, non the less, that my clams spent payed off. 😉

I got lucky and got Rupert on my second box, and got the truck and peters car as well. I could care less about having 2 of the items you can get with coins so overall I’m really happy with this mini event.

I guess like the Sparkles issue, my boyfriend is behind in his game and because the Gloves to get Dr. Hartman are Common, they override Peter’s Uncommon toy. So yesterday he got 13 toys, just missing out on his second box. Since it looks like neither of us is going to get Rupert, I guess we cannot be jealous of each other.

Hi all! I finally got Rupert about 4:30 this morning so in addition, i have flower, shanty ( my 2nd one), glass, billboard, pond, spotlight, dansu and i think, the island but i am not sure if we can have 2 of those

Well, with the use of a few clams I have finally recieved Rupert. But thats not all. He was the last freaking gift available and I feel cheated and angry at the same time. Wish I could have been one of the lucky ones and got him first try.

Being only able to get one box on the first day due to the event starting in the wee hours of the morning, only two more boxes left today. This is a bit depressing considering I’m a clam purchaser, I now have doubles of stuff people are getting for free that I spent money that are useless, and still no Rupert. Two more boxes to go. Starting to realize TinyCo is just more of a pain min my butt than it’s worth. I even bought Stewie’s Sandbox to ensure I get my 24 toys a day. Countdown to Rupert or the end of my Quahog. This event is starting to make me sick to my stomach. The abuse I’m taking by spending money on this game is getting ridiculous. I guess TinyCo doesn’t value paying customers. As I’m getting screwed with a sandpaper condom with no lube.

I’ve got one more chance left and 5 items. Id have used clams to guarantee 12 chances but I missed out on 2 plays the first day so I was sunk from that point on. I refuse to gamble real money on a chance to get something.
At the end of the day it’s just a game so I’m not too gutted and with the way these last events have been structured I’m ready to delete the game anyways. And that’s too bad because I’ve put a lot of time into this game so far but unless your willing to spend money the gameplay is fairly limited now that the initial districts are done. (Stewie is a perfect example, at the current drop rate for plutonium it will probably take me 4 months to unlock him without spending any money).
Glad others are having fun and enjoying themselves but TinyCo… no thanks, your constant sell tactics with this game have not left me impressed.

I finally got Rupert this morning, and only have one box, and one item left. If I get it, I get it. If I don’t, then I believe I already have it anyways, lol.
I liked the event once I saw that winning something removed it from possible prizes. I was just upset that first day because my buddy rushed Chris to get 24 and won Rupert that third box on the first day. 😦

Sigh….I’m hopping to get Rupert today. I didn’t get to collect any boxes yesterday 😦 That’s after I foolishly thought if I got 24 toys Rupert would be the reward. I even rushed the last four and set an alarm to be sure to get all of them.

I got 2 more boxes left today and 3 prizes left(including Rupert). I wish they hadn’t reset the time for the first day, if it hadn’t been for that I think a lot of people(like me) would have been able to get all the boxes everyday. I’m goin to keep my fingers crossed. Need some good luck, a four leaf clover, a rabbits foot, a horse shoe, four aces in my pocket, and maybe for a leprechaun to do a little dance on my device just to be sure.

I’ve enjoyed this little game, took my eyes away from the main tasks and quests for a few days, really happy with my haul 🙂
Got Rupert and the truck (wanted 1 for ages) hopefully 2 more tries to get the one prize I still want which is peters pirate car 🙂

I’m going to be fuming if I don’t get Rupert. Didn’t spend clams first two days and only opened two boxes a day. (I need sleep). Been spending clams last two days to get all three boxes and only have one box left to open and three possible prizes. Won’t be buying Rupert if I don’t get him, I’ve spent enough already.

I’ve calmed down somewhat from my early morning rant. It’s just after 8 am eastern, and I have 8 of the last toy. IF I don’t have a repeat of this morning’s disaster, I could have 24 toys again by 12 midnight eastern. That means 2 more chances now instead of 1! (Still steamed about getting F’d out of one box though!) I still have to unlock Rupert, Spotlights, Dansu Dansu, and Herbert’s Ice Cream Truck. The tense countdown continues… Sorry about your tale of woe, Cyber!! Hope that was your only one…

Doubt I’m going to get rupert. Been taking my time and opening 2/maybe 3 times a day and still no show. My friend opened once a day and got him yesterday the lucky git. I’m not too bothered though as not a character I really care about and pretty sure will be useless in terms of item gathering.

Aargh! Just opened box 11…. Still no Rupert!!! Lol. But it is now on to collect the last 10 toys to open last box which is finally going to snag him. Can’t believe it took the entire event to do it.
So jealous of everyone who got him early and could get back to unlocking Stewie. Oh, well. Still was fun (despite the frustrations with this event!)!

I just found a problem. I’ve only been playing around a month so I am a bit behind, just unlocked District 7, and suddenly Chris and Mort’s toy tasks are also tasks that give Sparkles for Anime Peter. Of course one of those results was indeed Sparkles, putting me behind on the two boxes left (four prizes left too, still no Rupert) and needing to use clams with no guarantee that Chris and Mort will drop anything other than Sparkles from now on.
I can’t even use the glitch where you switch off the game on an unwanted result as they seem to have fixed that.
Yes, I’m feeling sorry for myself and thought I’d share 🙂

Sorry. We mentioned the sparkle issue in the post itself. Was not prepared for that lil set back. I suggest to let TinyCo know your thoughts on stuff like that so they can realize it for next event.

2 boxes left, and 2 prizes: Rupert and Gold Digger Island. If I don’t fall asleep at acrucial moment I am getting everything. I have a question, though. How are the chances on winning each item? The same for everything? Because it sure feels that the chance of getting Rupert is lower than for the rest, because most players still haven’t got him. I’d really be interested in a poll about who got Rupert at box 1, 2, 3… Etc.

As an exclusive item, Rupert had the lowest assigned “win” percentage. He was the hardest item to win. This is why the majority are getting him in their last few boxes.

seen enough peope bragging about having him from early on to think its just a straight up 1/12 chance. No reason to make him rarer if they are gonna gurantee it to everyone who makes it to 12 parties.
Of course not all of us are going to make it to 12 parties….

Full panic Mode!! 3 prizes remaining Rupert, Pirate Car and Dansu Dansu….2 more gifts remain…my close to 92% chance of getting Rupert is slowly coming down to a coin flip…how cruel it would be if it comes down to Rupert and Dansu Dansu…the grand prize…and Dansu Dansu…so cruel…so so cruel lol now to read about people that have 2 boxes left for 2 gifts complain they have not received him yet…

I’m really keeping my fingers crossed on this one. I missed the third tea party (24 toys) on the first two days. I have two boxes left today and the prizes left are dansu dansu, lobster shanty, stewie flower, and Rupert. I’m hoping with the two boxes I have left it’s the lobster shanty and Rupert. I’ve gotten mostly premium items with my prizes so I’m hoping my luck with that helps. This morning I got the ale truck which is neat I’ve wanted one in my town for awhile but still a little disappointed about not getting Rupert yet. Kicking myself for not getting the third tea party the first two days but trying not to be bitter about it. I’m just hoping after the event if my luck runs out that I can still purchase Rupert! Doesn’t seem right not having him in my town with Stewie 😉. I enjoyed the event nonetheless and even without Rupert the premium prizes are still really nice! Much better than receiving infinite skate parks! (Maybe that’s why Joe hasn’t dropped a glove in the past.. 12, 13 times? I’m thinking while he’s at “target practice” he’s secretly out shredding it on the skate parks 😆)

Opened 7 tea party boxes, no rupert. I was on track to be able to open 4 more before the event is over, but I got royally screwed out of 2 of those 4 attempts. I had the 24 toys, went to the tea box opening screen, tapped it, the tv screen icon came up, and that was it. Backed out, tried again. NOTHING. This was happening close to the time the toy changes, close to 1:00 eastern. A few times that BS data connection lost crap came up. I reset the phone, tried again. Same BS again! I was in panic mode then. Numerous times these same things happened again. I usually don’t have connection issues, but of all the damn times to have them now! Then just as I feared, the toy changed and couldn’t get my 3rd box. This is one reason why these ridiculously restrictive time limits to do all these things, allowing NO room for any F ups (like this), HAVE to improve! The only way this can be redeemed is if by some miracle from the man upstairs, I can get rupert with my now only 2 remaining attempts. It was very hard to keep my r-rated attitude to a pg level for this site, but I did my best. DAMN!!!

You did well with the PG goal (I don’t think I could of done the same). And I’m pulling for the Gaming Gods to smile upon you. Here’s my little tale of woe.
First day, I sped up with clams because of the first time that had been posted. First box ok, but when I got to 14 toys and tried to open the second box…BAM….”Child lock out error”, I restarted game and saw I was now at 8 toys and clams not restored (took all my Zen skills to maintain the safety of my iPad…lol). I know it was my choice to spend clams, I know that sometimes electronics act mischief, but dang….not cool. 😉

I twice had times where Rupert was a tease and didn’t let me open box two. I didn’t get him he was the last gift. Rgg I’m getting tired of these stupid tasks. They do realize it’s hard to move characters to different tasks for so long. I bought both items to. I’m not spending anymore I’ve spent $150, but when you have nothing to do what can you.

I just used about 40 clams to rush the topiary to spew 20 of the toys (had 4 from the other characters) and on the very last present to open, it was between Rupert and the bubbly fountain, I GOT RUPERT! I was so scared. I do feel bad for everyone else who was in the same spot as me and got the other item instead of Rupert, and it was their last chance to get him.

That’s awesome! (And very nice sentiment for the other players). I have 3 prizes left (1 being Rupert) and will get 3 tries today, so I know I’ll get him. I just hope it happens before the last try. I want to have just a little of that YEA WHO feeling, plus save some clams. Wish me luck. 🙂

Ugh. Thanks to my work schedule and lack of internet at work I have 0 chance of acquiring Rupert. I might be able to pull off 2 boxes today, but my odds of scoring him are low. I had to unlock some of the characters to do the tasks so this event has been brutal for me. I hope they do some sort of catch up event so Kindle players can get all of the the cool things we have missed out on.

Set my alarm to 4am (bst) to get the final prize and I had forgotten to send Bruce off on his task so I ended up with 23 dinosaurs. Gutted !!
Still, I didn’t realise I had another day so maybe I’ll be lucky this time.

I know how you feel. Am on the same boat. Have a gut feeling Rupert would be 1 of the 2 I won’t get. Too bad I missed out on the 2 on the first day as I had some of my chars on long houred tasks. Really hope that I would get hime with one of the last 3 chances. This is frustrating.

very, i been playing since the circus even and been addicted, i got to the point I’m not sleeping and avoiding my friends because i don’t wanna miss out on this character … if he is over 300 clams after this i think i will give up on this game, when you miss something it just gets annoying i wasted clams on pee pants peter because the event ended.. won’t be doing that again

I’m in the same boat as you but I wasted 320 getting the decorations. Should have just spent the clams hurrying tasks. Probably not gonna get Rupert, and that will be all it takes to push me from buying clams about once a month to none…
Dropping an extremely time sensitive event just after releasing new time intensive characters is too far into ‘screw the players’ territory for me to feel happy with a clam purchase again.

Sped through all tasks and didn’t end up getting Rupert, I just missed the first day.
In the end the chance to get Rupert was 1 out of 3 … And still missed him

As of now, you still have 3 more chances, looks like you can get him if you play.
I did miss the first day and am down to 3 tries with 7 items remaining. Doing the math, I calculate my chances of getiing him is 18/35 or about 51%

Well I sped up to get my final 24 for today because of work and I was down to rupert 3 prizes available with rupert being one…I did not get him and now have 24 toys for the day with 2 boxes left over…stinks because I even made clam purchases to speed up…all for what? Mostly crap I either had or wouldnt have spent clams on in the first place…now am in limbo to fund out what I have to do to unlock rupert or even if possible. My guess is they will make him premium with a ridiculous ly stupid amount of clams to unlock like consula
