Happy Friday Clammers!
Well, we’ve all made it through another “work week” (kinda, sorta, almost) and the weekend looms large up ahead. All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game (What the event isn’t going to be released on Android for a WEEK?!) and we wanted to give you (and us) a fun new way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest. So welcome to What the Hell?!
-Getting REALLY annoyed that you haven’t unlocked Stewie yet?
-Annoyed you started the Comic-Con Event a week late?
-Someone cut you off on your commute this morning?
Here’s your place to vent about anything and everything, Family Guy or not. Consider this your weekly bitch fest and get it all out with a good…What the Hell?! And start your weekend fresh! 🙂

Here’s my What the Hell?! For this week:
-Quagmire & the Blueprints. Working my way up on collecting all the Blueprints needed to unlock Stewie. Sent Bathrobe Quagmire on his NetChix task…12hrs when I sent him. Only to check it a few minutes before completion and realize it no longer had a chance to drop Blueprints. Somewhere in the 12hrs of Quagmire’s NetChix marathon they changed the task back to Quagmire and 20hrs. So I wasted 12hrs and no Blueprint…What the hell?!
-Plutonium. I just need 1 more frakkin stick of it to get Stewie (well that and more Blueprints) and no matter what I do I can’t get Brian OR Lois to drop it. What the hell?!
-And finally…my wonderful husband (who reads this blog..and I’m sure won’t be thrilled I’m sharing our dirty laundry with you, literally). He has this AMAZING ability to put his dirty clothes ON TOP of the laundry hamper. He’ll take them all the way over to the hamper and rest them on top of it. Won’t open the hamper and put them in in, no he likes to set them on top of it. Thus leaving a HUGE pile of dirty clothes on top of the hamper. Seriously, how hard is it to open the hamper and put them in? He gets all the to the hamper and just sets them on top of it. What the hell?!

Family Guy Addicts 
So. People who have to touch you when they talk to you. The Frack? I’m going to put my hand on your shoulder and lean in close enough that I accidentally gleek on your face but I won’t acknowledge it and I just keep on talking anyway even though you know we both are aware of it and I wiped my face. I wiped my face. Sigh.
The blue nerds look like Spock and the red nerds like ensigns. Shouldn’t the red shirts die in greater number? I agree with the yellow, but really.
Transparent buildings? Where are they? I hate where’s Waldo. Do you know how many times I’ve clicked cop Joe thinking he was a blue nerd? Me either but that’s not the point. Transparency while live in the game would relieve a lot of frustration.
Possums. My mom called me freaking out because there was a possum in her house. After two weeks of trying to live trap it, I asked for a dishtowel to wipe up the water ring my soda left on her coffee table. She opened the kitchen drawer and there in the corner was a possum. It hissed but never tried to bite me. I picked it up by the tail and put it in the live trap and released it a few miles away.
And yeah, 3,4, that’s it. Tune in next week to see if the possum came back. I guess they can find their way back for 3 -6 miles. I might have let her go a couple or so miles too short.

It was a baby. Probably about a third of the size of a full grown one. All it wanted was some cat food and a warm dishtowel to sleep in lol. I told her they make great pets, you can train one to play dead just like that. 😀

Anyone else notice the blam count seems a little off? Sometimes it counts them before you pick them up and other times it does not? Plus if you tap all the spock at once when they come it seems the count is wrong?

The top counter and bottom counter work differently. Example: Say you tap three nerds and there are 3 cans of Blam on the screen (each worth 2 Blams). The top “on hand” Blam counter will add 2 to it’s number as EACH can rises. The the bottom counter will add the total of 6 when the first can rises and then nothing for the other two cans (because they were already counted). Now when only one can is tapped, the top and bottom will add in sync. This is true for the Super truck or Sommelier Bar (or any task that rewards multiple cans). The bottom will add the entire amount, while the top counter is adding up one cans value at a time. Now to add to this fun…lol..sometimes the bottom counter doesn’t add up quickly at all and you have to close, then reopen the game to see the updated amount. 😉

After reading all the WTH! comments, my WTH! is everyone already said what I was going to say :-). Oh well, I guess all great minds think alike.
Oh and Alissa I can relate with your WTH! Mine is “my other half” has a similar problem, only it is with the dishwasher. Instead of opening the dishwasher and placing the glass,plate or coffee cup in it, he decides just to leave it on the counter right above the dishwasher! Its not that hard to open the dishwasher and place the item in it!! So one day I just looked at him and said “what are you afraid that there is a “dishwasher monster”in it and that it is going to attack you if you open it?” Maybe your husband is afraid if the “laundry monster” that might attack him if he opens the laundry hamper. 🙂
On a side note I LOVE this site, you guys do a GREAT JOB!! Keep up the good work and a big thank you for all that you do and especially all the laughs!

WTH Tinyco since you have the androids clock starting at the same time Apple players have remaining..you either made it way easy for apple users or impossible for droid players WTH Tinyco..if it is 50/50 why would I take a chance on buying blam producing products if there is a solid chance that it is impossible to get the 100K? WTH Tinyco..if you had a special item for the android users was the week that we weren’t playing not enough time to have it ready for when we could finally play? WTH Tinyco did you not realize that spacing this event a FULL week it almost makes it impossible to enjoy this site as normal as a droid user..think about it..most of the news and conversation for the next month and a half will be about things a week ahead of where most droid users are and half of the people here can’t joke or compare notes with each other anymore because the massive seperation. Anyway unlocked Stewie this morning so I can now only concentrate on this event BTW I think Alissa, Bunny and Cyber are amazing and this site are amazing (hate having sooo many negatives with so few positives..but having a hard time finding a positive as an android user..maybe one of Kitten’s post will make me laugh lol)

Lol after rereading my rant I fully expect an attack from the grammar Nazis..luckily…being a reasonable man, I keep an ark of the covenant around just in case of random Nazi attacks. Yes this site and the investment of time you guys put into it is amazing. Trust me I would much prefer to make fun of people with frivolous complaints like we don’t get enough free stuff,, the free stuff takes to much work to get or why can’t I get some free stuff with my free stuff lol. ..Was disappointed that I had to wait a week to start the event…but I got it. Then when I finally got to play this entertaining event I saw that my clock didn’t have as many days as my counterparts got…which sucked…but it’s the fact that there wasn’t any item waiting for us or any formal announcements from tinyco letting android users know that we aren’t the bastard children….that being said it is Friday and a few hours away from when Tinyco normally surprises us..so hopefully its a good one. Cheers (Texan not English…cheers means enjoy an adult beverage here lol)

How’s your D8 progresses coming btw? I should have my last blueprint soon (I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve literally done 31 attempts and received 29 blueprints. I feel awful when I see people missing three in a row. Super Bummer!) and 4 more plutonium. Which will take me three more weeks lol.

I personally think Tinyco has gone a bit overboard this time around. I know they have gotten 15-30 million dollars in funding (RECENTLY), as a company, but it seems like they want us to pay for the event. Business is business, I’m the first to admit that, but even the stupid people aren’t as stupid as you would like them to be when it comes to their money (over time). They may spend it, but it will slow down. You do not want it to slow down!
(I’m not calling premium players stupid by any means by the way!!! I’m premium!!! 😉 )
To Tinyco: (I’ve heard they read this)
At the very LEAST, make some sort of official statement. You have a perfectly good outlet here, with the Addicts. I’ve stuck up for you guys many times before, because you have done a ton of great things with a game, still in it’s infancy stages. I’m not saying give us a detailed itinerary of the event, but address some of the very obvious issues that are lingering (like WTH is the Android exclusive). The Addicts are covering your butts (King Butts) with this blog, the FGG part of your company website is about as useless as a sex toy wrapped in barb wire.
That being said, if you didn’t have what you needed in place at this point in TQFS, maybe you shouldn’t have tackled an event of this magnitude. Again, I feel like you want us to pay all the additional things that make this event so great.
You are dealing in digital goods, you just have to create something and let it earn XXX dollars over time. No more overhead on that item. Stop creeping up the prices! I’m sure you have a formula that weighs ‘how many people are going to quit over this vs how much can we STILL make from increasing prices’, but that ratio is a slider bar with a very strange curve. You seem to only be pushing it one way.
Example? The battery factory. Come on. 12 hours? If somebody wants to pay 250 clams, let them frakkin have a 6 hour cooldown just like the zapper. Two Stewies every 6 hours. There is literally no reason not to. Well, there is one. You are counting on people to fall short (even premium players) near the end of the event so they open their wallets for emergency purchases. That may make you more money, but it also makes you low class.
Let people buy trailers and comic book shops with coins, then give them the option to upgrade them with clams if they want to start getting items. You might actually make some use out of the ‘coin’ section of the purchase menu. No? How about offering a lowered price for items that drop cocktails, once you already have all the cocktails you need? Offer bundles. Jesus, anything but what you are doing now.
The worst part is the person in charge of their pricing models is probably one of those middle aged men with three divorces under their belt and the business world has desensitized their morals to a point where they are only looking at projected incomes and paycheck zeroes before they autograph a project outline. This guy wears suits 6 days a week and only works 4.
Man, even the Grinch came around eventually.
I still support you though Tinyco, because I’ve seen glimmers of hope and innovation. This was just a rogue torpedo I needed to fire, just to see if the red button worked. You really should consider some some outside perspective though, and this website is the perfect place to start. You may have departments full of bright ideas, but nothing beats a very flexible and outspoken wall to bounce ideas off of.
Fix Ollietown too, for Christ sake. It looks like s*** now LOL!!!! 🙂

My gripe for the week is work. I’m a truck driver that goes to all 48 continental states and only get about 4 days a month at home. My load to get me home last week was a day late which cut me down to 3 days.. so I thought. My driver manager called me on day 2 to let me know I had to drive 130 miles to Dallas early the next morning to pick up a load that delivered not more than 15 miles from home yet was not allowed to go back home as he already scheduled me for another load with out my knowledge or approval. Also I swear that when it rains in Texas every one who shouldn’t have a drivers license is out on the road making things worse.

My only gripe so far is that whenever there is an event, only certain characters earn the special currency. How does Bruce rate to earn Blam but Lois does not? I think every character should have the ability to earn it, and not just when they double up on a task with another.

What the hell?! I don’t really have too much to complain about but I will anyways! Getting really tired of seeing more and more people hack the game and then act like they accomplished something by having 100,000 clams and all the event stuff. The mutant Stewies are annoying but he is an evil villain. Did anyone really expect him to be pleasant? I’m thinking about saving the next battery I get for when he is on a building I really don’t want him to be on. Can’t wait to get this last Plutonium I need and Stewie is FINALLY mine, so just drop it already what the hell?! Oh and I bought a “Cool” house on this other game for 120 sprinkles, I thought, what the hell? 😀

Oh man, great strat. I make sure I always have 2 batteries on hand. Any more, I use RIGHT when the charge is up.
PEOPLE!!! DO NOT USE YOUR BATTERIES UNTIL YOU HAVE SAVED PERLMAN FROM THE COCOON!!!
I’ve gotten 1 puppy and 1 film reel from stewie zapping so far.
Batteries will accumulate slower than Stewie’s for 80% of people playing. There is nothing wrong with saving them! Plus, who’s to say they wont increase it to 100 blam per zap? (And you have 10 batteries saved up 🙂 )
Also, I agree with you on the bulls*****ng post. But that’s an entirely different post, isnt that right Bunny? 😉

Why oh why do the put characters on for 24 hour quests when they are the only option (not really, but realistically) to unlock a character? Patrick Stewart and Quagmire is my quest.
I will assume that you earn a zap every 6 hours but you have to use it in order to re activate the timer. I will never see a battery so was hoping they dropped that way.
Having mutant Stewie latch onto to buildings that are used for tasks is frustrating and the jump in blam needed for Ron G makes me think the rest will be unattainable. I loved the first part. This second has soured me. Thanks for letting me vent and for all you do here.

It seems every other time I go to start the app, it shows the snapshot of where is last was, and when it is about to go to the splash screen, crashes. At least it is only about every other time and I can still play.
Finally got Stewie this weeks, so there is that.
The real issue, why is this segment called, “What the Hell”, and not, “What the Deuce?”?

Ron Perlman not showing up in my game no matter what I do (reinstall, refresh) what the hell????
I have Quest 6 of Comic-con done, I have Captain Hammered and Patrick Stewart unlocked, and I STILL Can’t get him. Does anybody know a fix to this?

Check your task menu on the left side and see if you have a ton of open tasks. Try completing some and see if that triggers him. If not, TinyCo is the next step.

I think they need to change the recharge rate on the zapper to 4 hours rather than the 6, especially if Mutant Stewie is going to be around the remainder of the event. Additionally, while it’s certainly true that these “events” are enticements to get folks to part with their $$, I feel that TinyCo needs to remember that the MAJORITY of their player base is playing freemium, and while I don’t feel it should be TOO easy to attain the 100,000 for George Takei, I do think that TinyCo should want to do everything possible to make the goal both attainable and challenging at the same time. The Premium players, because they’re willing to drop the $$ for the game, will always be able to attain whatever the end-result is. There’s nothing worse for a Freemium player than to feel like “I’ve got no chance, so why bother?” Pretty sure TinyCo doesn’t want them to stop playing.

This is definitely something they look at in each event. They are still quite a new game and it has grown and adapted for the better. My suggestion is give them feedback on ideas and things you see. They may not reply, but they do read it. You can do it right from your game menu and contact them with the info. 😉

Aaaand another WTH moment, this time of my own making. Accidentally pressed the BLAM-button on Ron. I am down to 6 Blam now. Why oh why am i so stupid? Especially since I am probably not unlocking him til the end of the event. Zero items collected on the first day. Could have done something more useful with the Blam in the meantime.
Is it just me, or are they making it harder and harder to unlock people? I like a challenge as much as the next girl, but it’s a fine line between a challenge and frustration…

I infer from most comments that most are playing on iOS. Since I am on Android, I had the fortune of unlocking Stewie and Carter before Comic-Con. Things have gone much more smoothly since yesterday. However I dread the coming of mutant Stewie.

I hear ya ! I ended up spending my clams to free up Stewie as after two weeks Brian dropped one single plutonium stick ! Now we have to collect blam but the game crash issues are preventing those that don’t want to spend the extra clams for them to suffer serious losses !

My game has been crashing for several days now and I have no idea why. Multiple restarts and so forth. I got Peter’s superhero outfit last week, which I’ve heard might cause a problem, but this is crashing way too much.

My WTH, besides echoing the ones about Blam! and the annoying popup screens, are…wait, sorry, distracted by my new side game of “Find the Fat Man” — Peter keeps wandering off while surfing the bird, and I have to search my Quahog to find him and get the Blam. It’s only 60 seconds, Peter, stand freakin still!
Also, has anyone else thought about waiting to unlock Patrick Stewart so you don’t get flooded with Mutant Stewie right away? I get that I can’t work on Perlman until I have PS, but, reading everyone’s posts on locked buildings and wasted quest time makes me think I should just amass Blam for the time being. (Though I hope you don’t have to collect every offered celebrity to get a chance at the next one. I’m lukewarm on Perlman and Day but do want Stan Lee!)

Maybe Tinyco could offer an end of event sale on limited items for the stuff players kind of want but don’t really need for the event.
& what the he’ll is up with my wife taking the only slightly worn clothes I laid neatly on top of the hamper to wear again in 2 or 3 days & washing them? Doesn’t she realize she’s just creating more work for herself? (Just to be clear I am not Alissa’s husband, but I know where he’s coming from.)

That is interesting. Keep an eye on it. If it continues, alert TinyCo. You can also try some basic troubleshooting to see if it helps refresh your game. Like force close, restart, or uninstall/reinstall w/a linked FB or email account.

New to the game, and beyond frustrated that I’m locked out of almost all my buildings, had everyone’s half day tasks abruptly ended due to building loss to stewie, and you get a battery every 6 hours?
Half the town is locked, worthless to start a task that will probably be cancelled, and unless I purchase clams, will probably see 90% of the buildings locked for the duration of the event.

Hang in there. Stewie does move every 8hrs. Save the zaps for the important buildings, and let him sit on the not important ones. Only 6 will come max.

Has anyone else noticed how big this game is? It’s currently taking up over 2GB. That’s over twice as big as TSTO and this game hasn’t been out nearly as long. I’m concerned that in 6 months I won’t be able to fit anything else on my phone. WTH?!?!?

I know lots of ppl have complained about this already, but it’s gotten me so frustrated. WTH is up with kicking out the character from the building and wasting our time thing?!? How about keeping them hostage until you zap Stewie off, so the task might take longer, but not cancel all your progress. I put Lois on the 12 hr grocery shop tasks to finish one of Patricks tasks to get more balm and the two times I’ve tried I’ve gotten 8 hrs in the first time and 6 hrs in the second time. Please TinyCo change this to hostage taking and not task cancelling!

This just happened to me. I had Patrick and Lois on the 12 hour shopping task, and when I logged in knowing the task would be completed I found them wandering around town like I never started the task. Mutant Stewie is now covering the store where they should be. WTH?! I just wasted 12 hours with no payout! At this rate, nothing will ever get completed. I was loving the Comic-Con update until today. Fix this TinyCo…fix it now!

We now know, this is a glitch with Mutant Stewie. You need to send them an in game support ticket so they can address the issue in your game. Mutant Stewie is supposed to hold them hostage, not kick them out. Check out this post for more info:

What’s going on Mutant Stewie is literally taking over Quahog! OK very cool but currently on 5 mutant Stewies at the moment and the only way to get rid is zap them! I have Patrick Stewart furiously picking out weapons but even if I got a battery every time and just recharged I have no hope of clearing him without spending Clams. Isn’t George Takei at 100,000 Blam also a little unrealistic without purchasing premium items – make it achievable guys, that’s what makes it fun, I’m not adverse to the odd purchase but seriously…

The Mutant Stewie is spawning much to fast. In 6 hours I clear one building and he seems to occupy three. So far, I got only one battery from one of the nerds, and the Q-Building is permanently occupied (cleared it twice already, lost any earnings since yesterday). Mr. Stewart takes a whole day to MAYBE earn an additional battery – probably not, though. If it continues at this rate, my town will be overrun in a couple of days. To keep playing, you are really forced to spend clams now. WTH?!?

Why don’t the event buildings give Blam! or stuff needed to unlock the event characters? Only premium buildings help, but why not the ones you buy with Blam!???? Then the event would still be fair to newer players and help everyone move along in the quests.

Mutant Stewie is a little BEEEEEEAAAAATCH! For the second time in 24hrs M.Stewie has kicked Lois & Patrick out of the Stop’N Shop. I used the Zapper to clear the store this morning so I could send the pair on their task AGAIN which I tried to start last night and within an hour M.Stewie moved from another building to capture S’NS for a second time. FYI, M.Stewie unexpectedly jumps from building to building and it appears he can capture the same building more than once. WTH????!!!!

Please contact TinyCo right away. This should NOT be happening. Kicking out is something they need to be alerted to. Use your in game menu, help & settings, so they can see into your game to find out why it is happening.

The fact that if you want all the premium stuff for this event ONLY, it will currently cost you £56 on clams … And that doesn’t include if you want spend clams to speed up tasks or on things like the batteries for the ray gun … AND THE RAY GUN IDEA IS STUPID AND WILL CAUSE MUCH ANGER!! I mean, what the HELL?!

That’s my point of view, too. Why bother unlock octopus Stewie to let him conquer your town. You’ll never win this game and in this stupid battle you’ll loose blam and money or stuff.
As a non-American player and a non-fan of conventions, l feel rather bored with this even. I just want the buildings, not the tiny rocket.

Mutant Stewie, while annoying, is actually a great way to earn more Blam! If he’s kicking your characters out of buildings, he’s not supposed to. You’ll have to contact TinyCo to have them see what the issue is with your specific game.

So Lois and Mr Stewart are in the Stop N Shop on their required tasks (12h). After 11h this stupid squid kicks them out! WTH?! I thought they’d be locked in, still on task but Noooooo! I had to zap the building and reset their tasks, eleven hours wasted when they couldve earned stuff, like a Plutoniumrod – those green thingys are hard to get!

K…that should NOT happen. It should just hold them hostage, then payout just like it never happened when done. So you can zap him or wait for him to move to complete. Kicking out of task needs to be reported to TinyCo.

I had a two day period of sending Bruce, “Quags” and Herbert on the tasks to get blueprints with ABSOLUTELY NO BLUEPRINTS IN RETURN. It’s a common item, the chances of not getting it are minute! The fact that the most unlikely outcome napped for two days straight is just aggravating! WHAT THE HELL?!?!

I’ve spent a lot of money on this game (and I’m going to use money instead of clams because let’s face it that’s what you’re really spending). I’ve spent a lot more money on this game than any other ever – including console and computer games. It was my choice. I wanted King Butt so I spent money to make sure I got enough moon trophies. I wanted Rupert so I spent money to make sure I got enough toys. I want George Takei so I spent money to make sure I was earning enough Blam each day.
And then along came the Mutant Stewies and I have to tell you they strike me as nothing more than an attempt by Tiny Co to take money out of my pocket and to turn this game from fun into frustration. And I’m really pissed off because I’m going to have to spend money on batteries and a building to make sure that mutant Stewies don’t slow down my Blam production by taking over important buildings. (If he lands on one of my Small Office Buildings, he can have it.)
From now on, I’m not going to worry about much more than trying to get what I need to unlock the real Stewie and earning Blam. I have a lot of clams left over from my last (and it really is my last) purchase and I’m going to figure our how to use them to assure I really get George because I don’t really care about the other characters (and besides how many people are there going to be running around this small town). But from now on when one of these events hit, I’ll be signing off until it is over because the events have items to entice you and requirements that require you to spend money to get them and Tiny Co has sucked more than enough out of my pockets already.

I completely agree with you, jeffrey. The mutant Stewie thing has definitely made the game more frustrating and less fun. Its an annoyance and an obvious cash grab. Honestly, I think that TinyCo made a misstep with phase 2. It could be fun, in theory, but the execution is flawed.
I’m just gonna do the same thing as you now – keep working to unlock actual Stewie (and complete the District 8 quests), try to earn as much blam as possible to get all the prizes, and get as far as I can in the comic con quests without spending money because I really don’t care about unlocking any of the remaining celebrities.

I got lucky and four of the mutant Stewies wound up on buildings I don’t care about (playground, preschool, spa, and s&m&more). As long as Riny Co doesn’t aggravate players by moving Mutant Stewies, they can stay there for the rest of the event as they won’t block earning Blam. I’m just going to concentrate on earning Blam to get to George. Besides, these other celebrities (many of whom I don’t know) won’t do anything for me once the event is over. I have a farm of 75 small office buildings that can earn me about 10,000 coins a day if I just quickly pop into the gave every hour.

100% agree. I’ve spent what I consider a lot of money on this game (over $50) only to get characters and buildings who contribute nothing (no advantage) going forward. I’ve purchased my last box of clams. I’ll still play, but I’m not going to sweat not earning George because I’d have to spend $20-30 to even have a chance at it. That is ridiculous. TinyCo should take a lesson from console DLC: $10 usually gets you quite a bit of content. However I guess people are buying because otherwise they’d lower the prices. WTH people??
If buildings were a buck or so I’d have no problem, but seriously… 700 clams (>$20) for the sommelier? No chance.

Not sure as to what censoring you are referring to? Can you elaborate? Are you just saying this because the comments are flooded with readers and yours has just not been gotten to just yet? Still in moderation? We are not robots. We can only go through so many at a time. Some of us still need to eat, sleep, and work our other jobs. 😉
Each comment is held until we push it for the safety of the readers and our site. It also allows us to read each one and answer questions appropriately and accurately so they don’t just go unanswered and get lost in the mix of others. One of my What the Hells is how slow-earning the blam is so far, especially seeing how much is required for characters. Another wth is what I’m hearing about what a pain the mutant stewies are, NOT looking forward to those, STILL trying to unlock the regular stewie! Brian has been dragging his butt for DAYS and no plutonium, I only need 2 more! Did TinyCo’s adjustment of the drop percentage chance just stop? Final wth – our android exclusive item and/or help needs to hurry up and get here! The longer TinyCo waits to finally offer their “help” the less beneficial it will be for us. WHAT THE DEUCE!!

And similarly, why the hell don’t premium characters drop blam or items? We shell out clams for them, yet they’ve become totally useless.
Why the hell is Ron Perlman so difficult to unlock? 10 extra rare items just seems outrageous to me. Getting 10 extra rare plutoniums for Stewie is fair because he can be unlocked at any time, but Ron is a limited time character. Plus 5000 blams… Give me a break. I would like to unlock every celebrity to earn the facespace collection clams. On a personal level though, I’ve never even heard of Ron Perlman or Felicia Day, and am indifferent to Stan Lee and Brian Cranston so I won’t really be upset if I don’t get them.
At this point I feel like the event is being unfairly weighted in the favour of premium players. I know, I know, TC has to make money. But as a freemium player who has played since day one, I feel especially shafted because I don’t have the means to buy clams AND practically all of my characters are useless because they don’t drop blam, don’t drop items, and aren’t even part of any quests.
Sigh. I’m just really unimpressed with this game right now.

On the plus side, however, I’ll reach the 10000 blam! prize today – I really like the look of the board game store and it’ll make an interesting addition to the comic-con area I’m adding to my Quahog 🙂
But I keep getting these annoying “lost connection” and “can’t connect to server” errors, even though my phone is connected to my houses’s stable wi-fi connection. What the hell!

As someone who started TSTO during the XMas 2013 & FG on the 25th of this month (grr Kindle)I like that it seems like you can complete the whole questline with low level characters (you couldn’t finish all of the parchment quests until you had level 30 characters, you couldn’t finish the Lisa Bart quest without town hall)but I think longer term players should have the benefit of earning Blam from characters post Joe and Brian (I’m unlocking Joe and Herbert now so I knew earning blam would be harder but I’d like the chance to complete the whole questline.
Also, seeing the buy the blam trucks or the heres how blam works on every start screen is a bit much.

I can’t believe how lucky some of you people are! Either that or you clam the plutonium. I have basically kept Lois and Brian at their tasks all three times a day and I have 5 since the very start.
Also, mutant Stewie recovered the spa after I started PS on Relax quest again. This time PS just wasn’t available until after I zapped the spa and he just popped out with all time lost from the relax action. Not a single battery. 10 extra rates is the new norm. A guy only has so much patience.

Characters who are level 15 already do NOT earn xp to go towards your overall level. So since I was an avid tapper throughout the existence of the game all but 3 of my characters are max level so I can’t level up. At this pace 2 years for me to go from lvl 40 to lvl 50. What the hell

Hmm, not sure about that. Almost all of my characters are maxed out and I’ve still moved pretty quickly from 40 to 43 (and almost 75% towards 44). Can’t believe that this should only be based on the non-maxed characters.

Why don’t Consuela and Jake Tucker ever earn any items? I bought Clams to get these characters and they’re never involved in anything!?! Early on, Consuela was used to unlock characters, which was why I bought her (aside from her being one of my favorite side characters). Now these premium characters don’t do anything and don’t earn Blam in this event. What the hell??!!

What the hell!? Why doesn’t all the characters give you blam!!! All characters should give you blam!!! They did it again. Last event with the moon idols not all characters Gave you moon idols. I love this game a lot I’m a dedicated player. And so far I love this event, but, please give a lil bit more characters that will give you blam!!! If you can’t have all characters then just a few more please. Other than that thanks. ☺

Tiny co tries to make it fair to newer players. I am frustrated as well but I understand. How would you feel if you started the game a few weeks ago had say just finished district three and the event starts using every character would that not seem unfair.

Which doesn’t necessarily mean that these additional characters couldn’t also earn more of the same stuff as other characters, helping the player to reach the target earlier.

You pretty much wrote my what the hell for me lol like yeah I get it they’re trying to make things fair for newer players, but why not reward the more experienced players who have played since the beginning and have unlocked most characters? Its like half of my characters are completely useless because they don’t earn blam, don’t drop any items, and aren’t incorporated into any questline other than their initial ones (I’m especially talking about you, Tricia Takanawa)

Well, well… after being thoroughly annoyed and peed last weekend because Stewie item collection seemed to take forever and the event starting exclusively on iOS, I managed to unlock PB&J Brian and Stewie on Tuesday so that I was able to finish their questlines just in time for the event as it kicked off yesterday.
I’m doing moderately fine in the event so far, having started the unlocking of the Converence Center a few hours ago and being about a fifth through with unlocking Pat.
But yet again I am cursing TinyCo for not efficiently using prior premium purchases (both characters and buildings) to the player’s advantage. Why the heck are so few characters able to collect Blam? I want to work on different things concurrently, not prioritize one to the other’s disadvantage! I’ve worked diligently, opened up all districts, unlocked all characters, built all buildings… reward my work!
My other gripe is that these stupid screens are popping in my way almost every time I start the game. Please… give me a freaking “don’t show again” option or at least limit it to ONE appearance per day. Damn, we’re supposed to start this game dozens of times per day. We don’t need nor want to see these things again and again and again!
And finally, where’s my Android special for the iOS only week? Want. WANT!

This is just my advice but focus on the limited comic con event. You can get carter and Stewie any time and they are not needed for this event. So if you have them working on the tasks great but remember this event ends sept 9th so you know district 9 won’t open until after that so just go with the flow cause by that time you will probably have completed Stewie and Carter’s quest lines and be itching to start district 9
