Another late night update hit our games….they really have to get Jimmy away from the red button! A few new fun things added to the game so let’s get right to it!
Peter kicks off the weekend fun! Once you tap on Peter it’ll start the Fabulous Challenge:
This week is the Trigger Challenge where you’ll have to zap 15 Mutant Stewies over the next 4 days. And when you do you’ll earn Captain Hammered’s vehicle the Nailgunner:
You’ll see a countdown timer on your side bar for how much time you have to complete the challenge:
And the Zapper time has been reduced between recharges. It’s now 4hrs to recharge the Zapper. 🙂

There are two Calenders. One for iOS players and one for android/kindle players. These are just a raw guide. More Blam will most likely be released later…so don’t get too concerned about the numbers. 🙂

It looks to me like there will be a Stewie robot prize box coming soon (it’s next to the Brian robot in front of Clamterprise in the new area), so I’ll wait to see what’s in that before getting the Brian robot prize box.

Many are getting the batteries (like myself) and several have gotten the Clamterprise (in just a few tries). But with any clam purchase, the choice is ultimately yours.

I decided to take a risk with some of the clams i had left over and the box, but doing quick math saw i could get a battery factory and 1 chance or just several chances… so i did the smart thing (i thought) and got the factory and 1 try.. and of course i got a factory on my first attempt! so now I have two, which may prove helpful later… and with 1 last hurrah i got the basketball deco. Doubt even if i reup on clams that i will get the enterprise before everything else so will probably wait until the stewie one comes around.. now to just get the last of the stupid pizza so i can unlock picard! at least my shot at the car is looking good. hopefully the other stuff will use batteries!!

If it’s one thing we have learned about TinyCo….it’s a game in motion and things are changed all the time. Sometimes the timing is to a players benefit, and sometimes not so much. 😉

Have you completed the Quahog Comic Con quest part 6 yet? Or unlocked part 5 (Captain Hammered Peter)? You must have Mutant Stewie Quest started since the new stuff depends on having the Zapper activated.

I am totally loving this new event and all that comes with it. I know that I may not get all of the items that I want, but that’s ok, it’s a rush just to even try. I do want to say this though; it really grinds my gears just how many people are already complaining about this event and it has barely gotten started. Sure, the android users has to start a week late (unless they were able to take advantage of a little glitch) but you still get over a month to play and win awesome items and even characters so why complain Think of it this way, in the 4th of July event for Rupert (I didn’t calculate the Full Moon event), if you opened every box, or close to it, you won up to 12 real life dollars worth of merchandise for free. In this event, so long as you are able to unlock the various characters and whatnot, you will get way more than that by the time this things ends without having to spend a dime. They could have made the celebrities clam only items that you have to shell out real money for, or they could have screw event currency, you have tho buy everything with your coins and clams, thereby leaving you no coins to buy land or other buildings until the event was over. I will admit that over the last 3 months I have spent about $20 on the game, but I did that of my own free will and because I knew that, in the long run, I was going to get way more than that for free just by completing various event tasks. I just get upset when I read the complaints over and over again from people thinking that everything in the game should be free. I realize that it is a free game, but Tinyco has to make money somehow, and since they don’t have ads popping up on the game every thirty seconds like some, they do it through the purchase of clams with real money for premium content. If you have suggestions to make to Tinyco, or you feel that they are being blantantly unfair to freemium players, then send them an email and voice your opinion and give them ideas on ways that they can make the game more fun for you instead of whining incessantly. Sorry about the rant, but I just couldn’t take it anymore, I don’t know how Cybersilly, Bunny and Alissa do it all the time! You guys rock and I am so happy that this website exists for all of my FGTQFS addiction needs! Happy tapping!

It’s nice shout outs like that, that keep us going. 😉 We try to make an environment that allows ALL players to feel comfortable to share their ideas, tips and yes, occasional grips about the game. Although when looked at as a whole it may appear as a wall of complaints, we see it as individual concerns, presented by uniquely individual gamers. Each deserving of our time and understanding. 🙂

Any other Android users having problems getting Bonnie to drop pizza? she’s been in a solid twerk rotation for several days now and hasn’t dropped pizza once. My comic con progress is seriously stalled Im getting a good amount of blam and the comics dropped fairly regularly (I have the all). But in the last 2 days I have gotten 3 pizza (all from the repaired Hotel). If she doesn’t start dropping pizza its going to take me 10 days just unlock Patrick. Ugh!

Mine mostly came from the Q and occasionally Bonnie (for the free player). I would also spend about 1clam at the 3.25hr mark.

Wow, my luck has changed. After my poor luck getting Rupert only on the last try, during the extended time, and having to spend clams to speed it up – I wasn’t sure I wanted to try the new box. But for my one and only try I got the Clamterprise. And that is all I wanted.
I was afraid that if I got the Waving Guy I would have thrown my iPad out the window…

I think this “console” crap is ridiculous. Some android players cheat and get the exclusives anyway and vice versa. Just because people on iOS had it a week early doesn’t make it right to give android players a costume that will probably earn blam. I think it’s stupid make everyone have the same stuff.
P.s. I’m on iOS and played this whole week and I only have around 8000 blam. Even with extra week I probably won’t get George

I get your passionate viewpoint. But I also get theirs. In the end it’s not us against each other. We are all just common gamers looking for a fun experience to share. They didn’t ask to start later or receive a special item any more than iOS users ask to receive updates later or Golden Suit Peter. And no one is “Cheating” when the game creators freely allow players to move from device to device, platform to platform to enjoy their individual games. I get the frustration, this game gets us all crazy at times. I would only like to offer the suggestion of sharing your views where it would reap the greatest benefit….with TinyCo themselves. 🙂

Did the Brian box three times – got 350 Blam, the XR-something or other robot, and 12 batteries. Pretty happy with that. I was gonna roll the dice and do it again but then I started thinking… I wonder if the Stewie robot will be a prize box too? Like in the full moon event? Might hold out for that one…

Ugh u guys im sooo lost…long time reader first time poster…i have android..my game updated Wednesday…but i have not clue whats going on i turned to u guys for help and i dont know where to start reading as iphone users got there update sometime ago..and u guys have been updating for those users as well…at least tell me what post to start with cause im all confused 0_o …even more so than usual lol…suggestion…maybe do an android only walk thru so we users know where we stand…also my game started at 39 days not 46..any ideas why…love the site u guys are awesome

My wife and I were still up when this mini event dropped and neither of us have had new stewies spawn since :-\, we have both gotten three already but I am just running out, and she is down to one left, what was their spawn timer?

They spawn every 3 hours. They got out of whack when the update mini event hit, but I just checked my town, and I have two mutants (I had cleared my town over 5 hours ago). So back on track. 🙂

I was playing last night when the update hit and had 1 Stewie. Since then, in the 12 hours since the update hit me, I’ve had 3 more Stewies arrivei It will be close but I shouldn’t have a problem getting them all

Uh, still shows that Android users are being discriminated against. And this will continue throughout this entire event. “Joe” doesn’t even make up for it, as it is additional content and will focus away from the main event. The average user has not had enough time to get to Pt6 in this series, so the cars are no off limits to them. The only way to “make this right” for android players was to boost them in the main event chain, not give them something else to focus on. Thus reducing the player’s chances of completing the event and making it impossible to complete any mini-events along the way.
Way to give the finger to half of your players. Tinyco had it’s chance to make this right, and they chose to still give more stuff to the Apple players. It is not “easy” to get Capt Hammered, even with focusing on just that.and this new mini-event only lasts four days.

Send your thoughts to TinyCo through the “contact us” area of the help section. They need to hear this to better understand the feelings of their players. And make better gaming decisions. 🙂

Does that REALLY matter? Do they really give a cr@p about what real players want? Have they listened in the past? Doesn’t look like it from this side, but I don’t know what they talk about in their planning sessions.

It really does help. They changed the boxes so items don’t repeat (tested it out first in the Rupert mini event) and added more unique items (not like the repeat stuff we got in the Booty Box) and many changes along the way of this still young game. Has it been perfect…not even close. But they definitely try to improve from players feedback. And it will only get better. Just saying to give it a try, but of course, the choice is always yours to make. 🙂

From what I’ve heard, TinyCo is a small corporation, so they’re currently in a “take what we can get” kind of stage. They listen, but they can only act within their contracts. So Android users kind of get the short end of the stick in this event. That’s just the way it works, and there’s not much TinyCo can do to make it right now. We just won’t win for this particular event.
BUT they take the rage we send them from this event and apply it to the next one. So for the next event, it should be better.
Regarding the Joe outfit…I think it’s a stupid way to give Android an exclusive. Apple has an exclusive outfit that’s permanent. Android’s is limited time. Giving us an exclusive outfit while Apple already has an exclusive simply puts us on the same playing field again. How about Blam earning buildings for Android players rather than an outfit that will likely just sit there?
We’ll just have to wait for the next event to be given proper restitution. 🙂

I get that TinyCo wants to help out the Android users, but I mean really come on. This just became a xbox vs playstation type situation where iphone (Xbox) gets event releases before android, but android (playstation) gets special incentives in their events for just waiting. This is much like dlcs released for consoles. This just really annoys me, because as an iphone user I’m a little mad that I can’t get superhero joe. Realistically android players though starting late will still be able to hit the 100k by the end of the event so why give them extra?! As a freemium player and an avid family guy fan I like the challenge of getting all the charcters and costumes possible in the game, but when you’re basically told no you can’t have this because you chose the wrong phone it takes away from that fun just a little bit. I know that this is a long paragraph about one little insignificant thing in this game but I just needed to vent some pent up frustration with stuff like this.

It’s ok to vent, believe me, Alissa and Bunny hear it from me all the time…lol. I look at it like iOS users got exclusive Golden Suit Peter and now Android users get exclusive Super Hero Joe. But it’s TinyCo who ultimately should hear this. Copy and paste it into a in game message. This is how the game improves for ALL players and lovers of the game. 😉

It’s my understanding that apple users have access to Gold Suit Peter (whatever it’s called) but we android users are unable to get that. While I agree that it’s not fair when one platform gets something the other platform can’t get, I’m just glad that each platform now has an exclusive to balance it out.

Well, the tube guy is now gone so that’s half the battle. I’d go a few boxes more, but save some clams for more stuff down the road. Unless you REALLY what that Clamterprise….or should I say Clamterprize. 😉

I spent about 300 clams on the box. Won two decorations and the 350 Blam twice, buuuuuuut I’m not super disappointed with that.
I wonder if the Zapper will permanently take 4 hours to recharge now, or if it’s just for the timed quest?

They must have changed the cap on Stewie too. I had 6 when I went to bed but only 4 now.

I think when they launched the update it reset some of the Stewies. Mine are starting to take over again, so I’ll keep a watchful eye on the count.

Loving the event, but maybe worth reiterating to players in your battery information not to use batteries in the zapper until the 4 hour charge completes, if you use it any other time the zapper resets to 4 hours even if you were just 1 minute from full. I found this out the hard way.
Also thanks for great work you do bringing us all the info we need, I’m an everyday reader but this my 1st comment.
Also would be great have something in the general gameplay that lets you win clams, of course not a scratchcard like a certain other game, I’m thinking same price but you open 3 Stewie diapers and voila win certain amount clams. What do you think?
In general loving Quest for Stuff, I believe I am developing the patience of a saint through this new kind of gameplay. Guys at Tiny need keep up the good work, but with Bunny on their case I’m sure they will.

Now I realize tiny coat was a company that is trying to make money and the game is free and does not contain advertising so they make their money from the sale of premium items but please past events the bonus boxes we’ve been able to either by was coins or event currency but now they’re extorting even more money out of players by making the bonus boxes clams only so they’re basically telling freemium players that they’re not wanted because the only way you’re going to be able to achieve anything in this game and have any chance of achieving all of the prizes and special content is if we she’ll out money

No, you are remembering correctly. They added the moon idol Booty box later in the game when lots of players started complaining about the clam boxes.

Look on the bright side. When you zap latcher stewie every 4 hours and theres 24 hours in a day thats 6 times a day 24/4=6×50=300 guaranteed blam! a day (400 if you have the battery factory), and that doesn’t include the chance drop of an item. Just for zapping something you can’t stand already win-win lol.

I am really enjoying this event. I just hope school doesn’t affect the amount of !Blam I get daily. On another note I posted my comment about the Zapper being 4 hours recharge instead of 6. Anyway, just wanted to thank Tiny Co. for really listens to their community!!!

The phone box first prize is animated. The top light glows like a tardis and if you tap on it it disappears and reappears. huge doctor Who fan love this so much.

So as an android player I just got the event a couple days ago and have not be able to hit part 6 (unless I want to spend money)
So now we are going to miss out on part of the event and more stuff on top of being behind on blam, but I hey at least we get a free outfit at some point. So frustrating

This is so unfair. The cool items and prizes are in Mystery Boxes. I’m a freemium completionist so I usually don’t care about Mystery Box prizes but this is unfair. I understand that this greedy company need to make money but in the Simpsons Tapped Out everybody has a fair chance to get almost everything. Also this game stresses me out. You need to tap every second of the day. I mean in The Simpsons Tapped Out we have weeks were just nothing happens, no new events and such, in this game almost every weekend we got a new event. Most of you seem to like that but I don’t. Why? Because I almost never have time to let the game rest for a while because I want all the freemium stuff. I missed Pee Pants, Rupert and a couple of July stuff and Seven Flags wich frustrates me. Nobody has time to play this game for so long and it’s unhealty to waste so much money on a friggin mobile game. I mean you could buy a brand new TV with the money you waste to watch Family Guy all day long. I don’t want to hate on premium players but don’t waste your money on this game. I’m serious. Tapped Out is a better place for wasting money because EA (the most greedy company of the world) gives everybody a fair chance. And you don’t have to tap every 2 hours.

I once felt like you (I’m a long time TSTO player). But then I got the gaming style of this unique game and realized I was being unfair to it by always comparing it to another game. You’re right, it’s not like TSTO nor should it be. Just like the TV show “Family Guy” has nothing to do with the TV show “The Simpsons” except share a network. It’s not for everyone. And your right, it’s not always fair to those who choose to play the game completing free. It is fair in the sense that they don’t have to spend a dime to play and enjoy the normal quest lines and to unlock districts. The only investment asked of a player is time. And during events they offer cool stuff to those that play in the “Freemium” style (nothing wrong with that gaming choice, I might add). And they offer even more cool stuff to those that choose to invest money into the game and play in the “Premium” style (and again, nothing wrong with that, also). In the end, games are meant to be fun. And “fun” is subjective (that’s why there are so many games to choose from). If this is not your cup of tea, you should say good bye to it. Most of us on this site really like the game. Yes it can be frustrating at times, and TinyCo makes missteps here and there, but we get it….we say to the game, “You’re a funny little fellow aren’t you? This blog is a safe place to vent and get things out of your system. Maybe take a few days off and see if it calls you back. If it reaches a busy signal….walk away. Find your new gaming passion in some new interesting game. 😉

I completely understand where you are coming from. I get very frustrated that you have to dedicate so much time to the game in order to meet requirements. Between work, taking care of the kids and other real life tasks, it makes it difficult to achieve. I enjoy a good toilet game, one of the few times during a day with no interruptions, where you can set tasks and ignore everything till a later time. Fortunately this game does allow you to participate at whatever level you wish. It’s fun to play like TSTO or devote time to 1 minute tasks all day. I have ADHD so I like that it always has something new and I feel I can never catch up. Keeps it interesting. I do want everything always but if I could get it and for free then it would take away some of the challenge that makes it fun. Having said that I still want to throw my devise through a window when I miss an item. As far as the paying I look at it like this. I’m 40 yrs old with a seven and two yr old. I used to go out drinking, bowling or to the movies and other things that I just can’t do now due to responsibilities. I enjoy these little games and the money I put into them is far less than what I used to spend on entertainment. Including $60 video games. The amount of time and enjoyment, to me, is far cheaper than what the alternatives were. Of course I’m a sucker for gift boxes and continuously get screwed but this is my fault. Anyway the point is you decide on your own your level of involvement. Unfortunately money has to be made or the game wouldn’t exist and I prefer to give it to Tiny Co. than to the local bartender or purchase a ridiculously priced movie ticket just to turn around and buy an equally ridiculously priced drink and popcorn. I wish you the best and hope you find a middle ground that makes you happy or at least content.

I think there might still be a small chance that at the very end of the event, the brian/mystery box can be used in exchange for whatever Blam you have left. Just like the sarcophogi in exchange for butt idols. Just a guess though. But it would be cool. Fingers crossed.

My guess is that in order to get the new Android-only skin, players will have to accumulate 25 Epic items and 35 Extra Rare items. The characters who drop those items will, of course, be needed for other quests. But TinyCo will be nice and offer buildings that offer a 33% chance of dropping those items for a low, low price of 300 clams each.

I think I’m going to get this because I have 187 clams and it looks really cool. Before I do though, I just wanted to make sure I only have to buy it once. Or is it like the king butt event where you bought the mystery box thing over and over? And if it is a one time purchase do I get to keep it when the event is over? Thanks again for all the hard work you do to help us all out

You’re not buying the Brian Robot. You’re paying for a shot at a prize in the mystery box (just like King Butt event). But, unlike the other event, the building and deco prizes don’t repeat. But the Blam, Clam and batteries prize stay in the box and can repeat. The Clamterprize has a 2% chance of being won. Several players have won it on their first or second try. Yeah I was hoping it was something like you buy it and then can collect from it once a day or something like that. Oh well, I’m going to save my clams to unlock Stan Lee if I need to, because honestly if I get him I’ll consider the event successful. I don’t really care about any of the other celebrities in the event. In fact I don’t even know who Felicia Day is. I’m assuming I should though.

You need to complete part 6 of the Quahog Comic Con quest (don’t need to unlock Patrick Stewart) then it will start the Mutant Stewie quest. You’ll be zapping Stewie’s for multiple quest lines then.

Put your full attention on completing the Quahog Comic Con quest through part 6. You don’t need to unlock Patrick Stewart right now. Then once you trigger the Mutant Stewie quest you’ll be zapping Stewie’s for multiple quest lines simultaneously. The shortened recharge time on the zapper will help you. Just stay focused. I know it sucks for those that got the late start. Hang in there.
