Another late night update hit our games….they really have to get Jimmy away from the red button! A few new fun things added to the game so let’s get right to it!
Peter kicks off the weekend fun! Once you tap on Peter it’ll start the Fabulous Challenge:
This week is the Trigger Challenge where you’ll have to zap 15 Mutant Stewies over the next 4 days. And when you do you’ll earn Captain Hammered’s vehicle the Nailgunner:
You’ll see a countdown timer on your side bar for how much time you have to complete the challenge:
And the Zapper time has been reduced between recharges. It’s now 4hrs to recharge the Zapper. 🙂

Found a small bug, When opening the timer to show how long the ‘Outhouse of Loneliness’ has until it can drop stuff, the name of the building says ‘Screening Theatre’

Question, for lois’ red hot outfit she has a quest but it requires the Askjeevs.com store. Im on android and haven’t seen that building in the store. Has it not been released yet?

Sometimes…updates just don’t trigger right away. If your game is linked to email or Facebook…try an uninstall/reinstall. Use this post if needed. Let us know if it worked. Also, you do have the most recent update on your device?

I absolutely hate mutant stewie. None of the tasks I want to complete ever get done!!! He keeps kicking out all of my characters from the buildings. And once I zap him, he comes back to the same building within the hour and kicks them out again. So frustrating 😩

The new content will only come if you have started the mutant Stewie quest line. You need to complete part 6 of the Comic Con quest first. Both new content updates need the “battery” item in the game.

There is an ios app store update tonight–mandatory. Thought it might fix some glitches but now my game crashes to fhe point of being unplayable. Crashes mult times on startup, visiting friends, and claiming prizes. Cant even log on to complain. Help!!

If you are stressing over Mutant Stewie taking over you convention center, relax, it still generates blam and spawns nerds while occupied. It is actually a good building to leave him on if you do not have enough batteries.
As for me I need more Stewie’s! Once you catch up it is very easy to keep all of them off of your buildings.

Although disappointed in the whole week thing of waiting I love the actual game. It’s like they studied what was wrong with another FOX game and made sure not to make the same mistakes. On the plus side because of the Android delay I concentrated on knocking out all of the other challenges that were released last month and hopefully by tomorrow I will be ridden of those pesky geeks in wizard outfits that have been lurking everywhere. Since the release of the game almost 72 hours ago I am two slices of pizza away from Patrick Stewart, Have the Captain Hammered costume for Peter and am closing in on 4,800 blam…since I am boycotting spending anything during this event because of the delay..not shabby. I may or may not have a chance of getting the 100K of blam but at least I finally feel like I am caught up enough to enjoy the same conversation that my fellow apple players are having on this fun site. ..now to ready myself to save Ron P. Thanks Alissa, Bunny and Cyber for the constant updates especially the one’s at odd times in the day (night)

Just an FYI, make sure you are on version 1.1.1 of the game at least. It will help avoid the Ron glitch some are experiencing.

About another hour or so until the flagpole is fixed but at this point Ron looks like he is not having a good time. Is there a special area where you can see what version you are currently playing? Didn’t see any update available though and will take it as a good sign 😉 BTW which colored nerd occasionally drops batteries…have to be on the lookout now lol

The update version usually shows in your app market. You just locate the app your want and scroll either midway or all the way to the bottom and it will list “Version #####”

Honesty all this team android vs apple is pretty childish in my opinion. I recall a conversation with silly saying that I hope it doesnt come to this, us vs them, but unfortunately it has severly affected a place I usually love to come to for help, conversation and an occasional smile. Its disappointing. Apple has had to wait before. Big deal, now android had to. So what. Apple got an exclusive skin, yippee. Now android gets one. Great. But instead of being adults(playing a cartoon video game 🙂 ) we now have to bash, take sides, get pissy with each other, speak of entitlement and take it to the furthest extremes instead of enjoying it for what it is. A game.
I was vocal from the beginning that no one should have any unfair advantage whether that be extra time or whatever even when I was on the winning side. But now because I have an iPhone ive been grouped in with a few people who have whinned about android getting a skin. I didnt complain, but I guess im guilty by association. But im not taking any side and still have to come read all the negativity and nasty passive aggressive comments and I dont care for it. It doesn’t make me want to leave to game, it’s just a game. Honestly it makes me want to stop coming here and feeding the beast by reading and be made to feel bad or excluded or segregated into a class I never asked to be put into. Fact is my phones an apple but my tab is android, does that make me a whole new class? Am I bi curious? Come on people. Stop being so petty. Its ruining a good thing and in don’t wanna have to stop coming to a place I really enjoy because adults cant be mature and be hapoy for each other. Be happy for your fellow gamer, dont hate. #teamnoh8

#teamdorasdads Always love reading your comments (no, you’re not going anywhere…we won’t let you). 😉 I agree with your sentiment, and can empathize with your frustrations. I only would want to point out that we created this site for ALL gamers to come and feel safe to freely express their questions, tips and yes, at times, their frustrations (in a polite manner,of course, like you always do). Sometimes we might not always agree with the opinions of others, but we can and should agree that they have a right to express them. In the same way that you just freely expressed yours. 🙂

It’s not the opinions I mind at all. We’ve heard that since gold suit peter. And certainly since the announcement of this event. It’s the back and forth taking jabs at each other or trying to make others feel lesser or undeserving over what kind of phone they have. It’s just gross to me and I HATE a toxic environment. Some of the things I’ve read have made me cringe. Why can’t people recall all the times apple waited for updates? Not just one time. Or why can’t we remember apple got a suit and mini quest line android didn’t?no it’s not fair, but people who really wanted the “exclusive” whether it be time or item, they crossed over and got it. Pull out an old phone or iPod to get the extra then throw it back in a drawer pretend it never happened and call yourself team whatever. That’s tacky. I don’t wanna call people out and I assure you it’s not moderators comments that I find offensive. I just wish people would think before they type. Every one has feelings and no one playing this game deserves anything more than any other player.

However, I do not feel this is strictly an apple issue. The late apple updates are % 100 apples doing, but this while most def funded by apple was a choice tinyco made and agreed to as a business. I think sometimes we forget it is a business and they survive and thrive not only from players buying clams, get real, but Deals like these while not very attractive from our perspective do fund and further this company we support and believe in. Thats simply business. If I were in their position I would have made the same choice. Lets let them accept their compensation and the fall back. Cant have one without the other in these situations.

Been getting all my info from this site and wouldn’t have as much of the stuff I have without all of your help. Love the new trigger challenge. All you need is to shoot 4 stewies a day. Easier to do with a 4 hr recharge. Not so thrilled with the mystery box. The Blam (regardless of amount) isn’t worth paying 75 clams for and the fact it can repeat makes it worse. You could theoretically attempt the box 100 times and not win the clamterprise or some of the buildings because they could just keep giving you Blam.
As for the trigger challenge, I feel lucky that I’ve had a few batteries drop for me but I’ve never had more than 4 stewies on my screen. Even after a rare night of sleep and not waking up to collect my Blam never got past 4 of them. I keep leaving one just in case killing them all stops him from coming back. Hopefully enough of them come back so I can finish the trigger event.

You stated that once the prize is won, it will be removed, not the case, won the photo shoot and the food truck after 2 tries, reasonably happy, and they were removed from the prizes, then won 350 blam not worth 75 clams, this was a rip off should not have been an option for this amount of clams, and that is still in my list, so if could win this again wasting 75 clams, I am finished with this prize box. Just a warning for others.

was the week wait an exclusivity thing with apple or was it not just because FGQFS was getting released for kindle and maybe just an way to give time for developers to get ready on android/kindle
1 way to remove the issue with skin for joe coming to android and gold suit only for apple is after event. have mini event for other sides to get if they want by collecting STUFF

A note on batteries players might want to think about is that although the first weekend prize will only take 15 zaps in four days, there is no guarantee that will be true for future prizes. Week 2 could require 24 zaps in four days, for example. I bought a battery factory today but am going to stockpile my batteries for later in the event. Just a thought.

so far, octostewies respawn every 8 hours. assuming you start a prize event with six, there can be no more than 18 octostewies in any four day period (6 to start, and three per day for four days).
in fact, some players may choose to let six octostewies accumulate for each fabulous challenge event. of course, each fabulous challenge may be completely different.

They are suppose to spawn every 3 hours. Mine are now doing this again. They were not for hours after the update. You might have a spawning glitch. Try the basic trouble shooting steps. 🙂

I play mostly on my iPhone 4 so it’s a small screen and crazy AT&T data speed.. But at home, I play on my old android phone that has larger screen and better wifi internet… However, this split between the two system makes me afraid of playing on the android bc last time on the moon idol I can’t access my iOS bc android has older version and it locked me out when I’m out and about. With that said, what’s the chance of me getting that Joe on my android even though I’ve been playing on my iOS since the event started? Anyone knows?

It will load to your android device (if you have updated to the current version) when your playing your game from it.

Regarding this whole iOS vs. android issue, if I were an iOS user, I would contact Apple and encourage them to waive any “exclusive content” clauses they have in their contract with Tinyco & we can all go about playing this game on a level playing field. If enough Apple users speak up maybe they will get the idea that these Apple-only clauses are not what the people who actually use their devices want. I know it does nothing for me as a non-Apple user to want to switch or run out & buy an iPad.

Bingo! It’s more an Apple issue than a TinyCo issue. Apple likes to hold app developers “hostage”, where Google is a bit more flexible.

Excuse me but this argument makes no sense. Apple is more to blame because the game developer decides to bring extra content to other platforms? We are forgetting that Tiny C. has a moral obligation to the “player” and there are more ways of privileging a better contract, never at the expense of those who never asked to be a minor Player, just because they have an Ipad. This is solely the responsibility of Tiny Co, who decides to choose who penalize for their best, or worst agreements (in this case the Player). Also, this is hardly surprising, given that this game increasingly looks like an unhappy trip to Las Vegas. Tiny Co is the perfect case of just thinking about business, leaving for last the player. Just not up to the video game industry, and more painfully, not worthy of representing the name of “Family Guy.” I hope their producers realize this quickly, and choose another developer.

It’s much more likely that TinyCo approached Apple and offered the exclusives in exchange for publicity in the App store or something.

Bought 4 Robo Brian boxes got 150 clams and 36 batteries. Not a bad haul but now that i have more than enough batteries that little squid seems to be hiding. Come out come out wherever you are.
Oh and 2 more blueprints and “Victory is Mine!!” Must restrain myself from spending 10 clams. Muuusssttt Resist.

To be honest, if it gets Chris or Jerome or Lois busy earning things, I wouldnt mind collecting stuff for Joe’s super costume!! Captain Hammered wasn’t too bad…3-4 days worth.
Android definitely deserves this little exclusive, don’t let Apple entitlement ruin it!! I didn’t see any iOS complaints about the exclusive until it was unveiled.

Besides, there was plenty of complaining from the Android camp when he event started. It was legit and totally fair, but so are the complaints from the Apple camp.
We just need to rise above it; it’s not fair, but it is equal.

Hi fellow clammers…..I was wondering if anyone else is having an issue with blame totals? Sometimes they count, and others I get nothing for them. I have been doing Peters 1min task for 2 days now, and it seems a lot of the times my blame does not raise the count. Its driving me crazy, as iI have been trying like he_double hockey sticks to get my blame since I’m on android, and trying to catch up. Thanks as always everyone on here for all the info and help. You guys rock!!!! 🙂

Mine started off slow too. Try a hard close to see if it gets them spawning again. If that doesn’t work, you may want to try an uninstall/reinstall to clean up the files. (Make sure your game is linked to an account email or Facebook).

Well I finally got the clamterprise after many tries and still can’t put Ron Perlmans chair down and that’s really BS how only “android players” only get joes new costume seriously iOS players were waiting for things to actually happen for this event once again tiny co fails at life

Robo Brian boxes are a rip off bought first one and got a flappy man which would of only cost me 300blam it should not be in there for 75clams what a rip off. It’s all random in the box. 2 games I got batteries in both. Cybersilly got them as well, other players got other decorations. It’s all random. Some really good prizes, some eh prizes. Some worth 75 clams…others not.

I spent 75 clams and only got the wiggly guy too! Buyers beware! Also, I am so incredibly stupid (and frankly it is not explained very well) that I thought 75 clams PURCHASED Robobrain! I would never have gambled 75 clams if I thought I was only purchasing a one-time gift.

It’s a mystery box. So the 75 clams gets you one of the prizes inside 🙂
Good news is…once you get a decoration or building it disappears increasing your chances to get blam, clams, batteries or other buildings (like the clamterprise)

Well it comes to something when I’ve unlocked all the extra rare plutonium for stewie but are still way behind on collecting the common blueprints. Also 75 clams for the Brian box erm I’m not made of clams

With the new weekend timed event do you think an android user will even have a chance to participate this weekend. Need one more martini for Peter, six more pizza for Patrick Stewart , two more plutonium for stewie. Cannot wait to start chasing mutant stewies but I fear that with the weekend event being timed that there is no chance for a freemium player to realistically get it . Absolutely love the website and what you all do for the rest of us

Seems you need to complete mutant stewie 2nd task first ie collect 250blam? I just unlocked him and there is no car challenge yet.
Lois 6hr task for blam is nice addition but she is too busy along with brian, trying to get 1 last plutonium 🙂

Hmmm so your count at the bottom isn’t showing them? Did you try hard closing and restarting the game? Does that catch it up? If not send an in game message to TinyCo they may have to go into your game and see if there is an issue.

Hi all,
Just wondering if I can do a hard reset once I have bought Brian’s mystery box to get another chance at it? I’m not a premium player so don’t have enough clams to buy more than one, but the hard reset trick to get 150 clams would be good, if it works?

Honestly I don’t know. It’s not something i recommend either, but if you want to take a shot at it your call. Anyone else know?

I tried it with Rupert, first time I got 6 or 7 tries before it stuck me with a prize when I loaded up again, I tried it on two different occasions after that and got stuck with a prize after 2-3 attempts both times. Rupert eventually came out of the last box, during the extension, after spending most of my clams.
It may work for you but there’s a risk it won’t. I’ve seen people swear it works for them every time but it didn’t work for me.

I hope the Joe costume is released for iOS even if we have to work for it, as it wasn’t fair that it took a week longer for Andriod to get comic con but its not really players on iOS fault so why should we miss out on the costume, hopefully Andriod will unlock it free and iOS will get it later for collecting items and spending blam.
Oh yea, so far loving this event and I also guess the main countdown clock is possibly counting down to District 9 haha.

There is no reason that all items should not be available for both platforms. I am on iOS but I am confused and saddened that this event was not released for both at the same time with the same rewards.

iOS already has an exclusive costume (Gold Suit Peter, which isn’t on Android at all) plus we got the event a week later, so it still isn’t even for android users

However several people that used a loophole of starting the update on iOS and having it follow them to android have been able to get Gold suit Peter and an extra week of the gameplay for comic con and are still going to get the android exclusive even though they’re not exclusively android users

Well I am an IOS user and am a bit upset that we don’t get a chance to get the EXCLUSIVE costume for Joe…it’s not like we asked TinyCo to release the game on our devices before being released on Android. Yet we get punished. I think it would have been better if TinyCo gave Andeoid users clams or something like that for THEIR mistake. Please TinyCo make this right for us.

IOS users already have the exclusive Golden Peter costume, so it’s completely fair.

It sucks that Android players started late and it sucks that iOS have an exclusive costume. But giving Android players another exclusive costume doesn’t solve that problem, it just makes iOS players feel left out as well. A better reward would have been some clams, some Baam! and a jump start on unlocking Patrick Stewart (maybe one or two of his associated premium buildings) to help get Android players caught up. Giving an extra costume doesn’t really solve the problem of Android people being a week behind and it really isn’t fair to iOS people who, let’s not forget, didn’t ask to be treated any better than Android players.

Regrettably you’ve missed the point of my comment. It’s not about making things ‘fair’ between us. If you’ve denied something from one group, denying something from another group doesn’t make anyone any happier. The first group is still unhappy to miss out on something and now the second group also feels unfairly treated.
You’re arguing that both groups should be treated fairly in that they are both denied a costume. We should be arguing that both groups get treated the same and not trying to balance a set of imaginary scales. I don’t want you to miss out on anything because you’re on Android and I hope that you don’t want me to miss out on anything because I’m on iOS.
If you want to get really fussy about the whole thing, let’s not forget that Golden Peter is available to any Android player if they sign into an iOS device at any time in the future. The same won’t be true for iOS players because Super Joe will almost certainly be limited to the ComicCon event. But again, what’s the gain in arguing over who is more unfairly treated and what should be denied of the other side to balance the books?
I don’t want any more exclusive items. I want Android players to be compensated for the week long wait (via clams and a leg up on the event progress) and I want everything to be available to everyone who plays, regardless of what they’re playing on. That means Golden Peter appearing on Android devices and Super Joe appearing on iOS devices.

Exactly. Android users should get clams and a boost to their event progress as an apology for missing the first week. Exclusive items don’t make anyone happy because eventually everyone’s missing out on something. I didn’t like Golden Peter when the app first came out and I don’t like Super Joe now.

Apple players get the gold pool and gold suit for Peter that Android users don’t get. Perhaps this was making things up for Android users. It is just a matter of perspective perhaps…

Android users can get Golden Peter by signing into an iOS device at any point. That won’t be true for iOS users once the event ends and Super Joe is no longer available.
But, as I’ve said above, it’s not about trying to make things ‘fair’ by limiting stuff for both parties. Let’s just give everyone everything. How’s that for fair?

I literally have unlocked everything in the event so far, even George takei with 100,000 blam and Ron Pearlman, yet I still have not seen the Brian mystery box. What do I need to do?

If you bought a bunch of clams and sped everything up, maybe something didn’t get triggered somewhere along the line. If your game is modified, then that’s your answer right there. 😉

You need to have the Mutant Stewie quest line active. Both new content elements depend on the batteries being in the game. Complete the Comic Con quest first. 🙂

I need to Zap 15 Latcher Stewie’s for a quest but I have none to Zap. It has been over 5 hours since the last one. I know they changed the battery reset time. Did they also change the spawn rate?

It did get slow for a bit after the update. But now mine are spawning on time again.

Is it just me or is everyone else also having trouble getting Quagmire to drop Jazz Records? He’s been on his 4-hr task non-stop since the Ron update hit but hasn’t dropped a single record for me. I even switched to a different task once, per Cybersilly’s tip, but so far I got nothing. Wondering if this is a bug (or just bad luck). 🙂

He has watched “My Little Furry” so many times, I had to get another copy of the movie.lol..but not a single record dropped here either. I’m beginning to think it is a task/item glitch. Has ANYONE gotten a jazz record from the Quagman?

Yes. He has not dropped even one so far. All of the drop rates have been dismal. At this rate it will take the rest of the event to complete a single character.

I’m getting sick of putting mine on tasks & not getting the objects in return. Still haven’t unlocked stewie as I need 2green rods. I never get them & I’m not spending any more money on clams until they are more fair rewarding our tasks!!

I totally agree. I have been doing tasks over and over for weeks now and I still only have 5 plutonium. I am a patient person but now I’m just getting bored with it.

Don’t need Patrick but you must complete part 6 of the Comic Con quest line then start the Mutant Stewie Quest. This creates the Zapper and the batteries.

Hi all. Caved and bought 3 robo-Brians, got 750 blam, the gyro truck and 12 batteries. Also still having chars getting booted from mutant stewie occupied buildings.

Send a message to TinyCo about the characters getting booted. That’s not suppose to happen but a small group is experiencing that glitch.
