Another late night update hit our games….they really have to get Jimmy away from the red button! A few new fun things added to the game so let’s get right to it!
Peter kicks off the weekend fun! Once you tap on Peter it’ll start the Fabulous Challenge:
This week is the Trigger Challenge where you’ll have to zap 15 Mutant Stewies over the next 4 days. And when you do you’ll earn Captain Hammered’s vehicle the Nailgunner:
You’ll see a countdown timer on your side bar for how much time you have to complete the challenge:
And the Zapper time has been reduced between recharges. It’s now 4hrs to recharge the Zapper. 🙂

To me…2 is all you’ll need. Unless you have plans of building 4 buildings at a time. I have 4 and i never use all 4 at once.

This is the first I’ve made a comment and I just wanted to say that I’m addicted this game and this site has been a great help. Before this event I was a freemium player but that has since changed lol. I did go a bit overboard with the Bri-Bots and after many attempts I finally got all the prizes. After getting them all I ended up with 84 batteries!

I just rushed a few things to get caught up to the 15 zaps questline, and my timer still has 3 days 23 hours left on it. I was worried we actually had a hard deadline counting from Friday, but that’s definitely not the case! 😎

Well, i spent 1600 clams and got the Bar first then i did the Brian Bot hoping i would get thay Battery Factory for 75 instead of 250 BUT instead i received 350 Blam 3x, the Clamterprise (which i thought would give blam but just a deco), the Hover rink, the food truck, The robot (no animation), the photo op and 12 batteries

Click on the task in the side bar, then you’ll see that the first task is probably unchecked again. So go “check out the nailgunner” that’ll bring you to the Challenge List. Hit got it, and it should pop up with the completed challenge. The nailgunner should be in your inventory at that point 🙂

The task bar only shows Creature from the goo lagoon pt5 and Perls of wisdom pt2 the Trigger happy has disappeared on both my iPhone and iPad so can’t get the challenge list up.
Any other ideas ?

Decided to take this event off of TQFS. The only way a game can be fun is if you know how you like to play it. 🙂 You don’t buy “Call of Doots” if you hate first person shooter games, and you don’t watch “The Walking Dead” if you hate zombies! So if you don’t like this type of event (I don’t like collecting limited time currency under a tight schedule. I like easygoing, play as you go kinds of games and events.), you don’t play it. So I’ll be keeping an eye on my fellow Addicts playing, but unfortunately I don’t want to accept this quest! As long as I’m still allowed to comment on the event posts 😛
Weighing in, I don’t particularly like that Android may be getting another outfit for Joe as an exclusive. I assume he will earn Blam which would help us get ahead, but I think TinyCo dropped the ball on this one. As they become a larger company, hopefully they can negotiate contracts so all devices get events the same day within a few hours rather than days later!
I also liked the format of the Rupert quest, even though I didn’t get him. One box left, but no time to get it. TinyCo wasn’t clear enough on the change of times or when the toys would change, giving some people more time to get toys. But again, since premium characters don’t really DO anything, I don’t miss him. 🙂 Sorry Rupert!

Help! Dropped my phone in water. It’s dead 😦 tried downloading game on my tablet started me off at first level. Thought it would catch up to self but is not. Tried signing in with Facebook account to sync but says there is already an account associated with my login and if I sync will reduce that account back to level one. Help! What can I do??

Try uninstalling, restart the device, and reinstalling the app…then follow the directions below. Let us know if it helps.

I had 104 hardly earned Clams overall. I thought I save up for Brain Damaged Horse. Then I saw this new mystery box. So to say I couldn’t resist the temptation and opened one. I got the Battery Factory. I was shaking in happiness, because I really wanted to have one to help me zap more mutant Stewie. Furthermore it really woth it, ’cause it only cost 75 Clams and not 250 😀

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME! I was looking at the blam! calendar post the other day and I realize I’m falling behind and definetly not averaging 3,000 blam a day. So can somebody please give me the best possible strategy to take to obtain enough blam for me to continue winning prizes and inevitably obtain the main goal George Takei.

The surf the bird 1 minute Peter task is the best return at 60 per hour (I do it while watching TV). Don’t get to caught up in the calender numbers, TinyCo has increased currency earning methods in the past. Just focus on getting the quests done and unlocking characters. 🙂

I would really like to see some female geeks in the game. I’ve heard that they do actually exist (wink, wink, Bunny!) I hope that they decide to add them to the game soon for more Blam! like they did with the female mummies during the full moon event.

It also seems that mutant Stewie is only attacking the same few buildings. the zoo, aquarium, spa, pancake house, tiny tots, mini mart, furry funhouse, rocket playground…and the only one I’m even having to zap is the Q, so I’m just stacking up batteries for now…maybe it’s just where I’m at in zapping..

Hey guys, sorry if this was answered in the comments, but above in the post it says, “once you tap Peter it will start the challenge… [this timed event runs] over the next four days.” I know I have to have Capt Hammered, but I’m still a few handfuls of nails away. Question: does the 4 day timer start once we progress far enough? Or is it only Fri-Mon? Is it worth rushing Peter’s costume to play this event? Or will it be waiting for me when I finish in a few days? (Hopefully)

The 4 days will start as soon as the challenge pops up for you. So if it starts tomorrow (monday) you’ll have 4 days from Monday to get there. 🙂

Where does the “Android Exclusive” screen appear in game?
I play on Kindle and haven’t seen it, but I’m hoping it’s there somewhere and I just missed it, seeing as how we also got shafted out of that first week.

It erased my comment… Uhmm.. Just wondering.. I have 199 clams.. Is it worth the 140 for 12 batteries?? I mean stewie is attacking like ten buildings at once!!! but I also know that I can only buy them one cuz I don’t have enough clams to continue buying them and I’ve already spent 5 in real money to get where I am now.. I’m not a freemium player I drop money on the game as often as I can.. But it still just never is enough… Advice?

I think you should hold of on batteries. They build up pretty quick from the questline & character tasks. Plus it’s something frequently won in the prize box. I have over 100 from just the prize box alone.

No. They fall and build up pretty quick. Just send Patrick on his task often (Ron Perlman has one too). Also, you can win them in the Brian Box. It’s one of the more common items in the box (i won over 100 in it)

Hi all, just wondered if anyone is having same problem, since the latest content release Bruce, Quagmire and Captain Hammered have not dropped a single item, is it a glitch or am I just being little unlucky? Of course now I’ve posted this they will all start dropping just make me look stupid 🙂

Given how Golden Peter worked(funny how iOS users forgot about him) I’m sure people will be able to get Joe, they just likely won’t have the luxury of getting it whenever like Android users can with Golden Peter, it’ll need to happen in the event.

For the love of God will people drop the whole iOS got gold suit Peter argument all ready called Gold suit Peter has two task and I have never used him since I unlocked him you did not miss out on anything where as Joe’s costume will probably give you blam earning task that the iOS users will not have access to also please stop acting like people that own iPhones or iPads and play the game are somehow bad people we have nothing to do with the contracts between android Apple and Tinyco we have no control over what content is delivered when

I just noticed, if you speed up Patrick in the Thing a-ma gadgets task…you can do so for SIGNIFICANTLY less clams than anything I’ve sped up before. Gets them batteries fast and cheaper than buying if needed.

Quick question if I may? Back when max level was 40, I was stuck there for maybe three weeks. When the cap was lifted, my meter went halfway from 40-41 (even though some reported immediately moving to 50). It took another three to four weeks to get to 41. This was playing everyday, multiple times, unlocking PB&J Brian, Carter, and getting 8 blueprints away from Stewie. Now that the new event started and I hit 41, I was able to level up to 42 in 2 1/2 days. Anyone else have something similar? I know it ultimately doesn’t matter, I was just curious. Anyway, I’m a freemium player all the way. Love the new event. Been lurking since the beginning and love your site and info. Good luck everyone.

We are glad to see you come out of the shadows. 😉 Most who do heavy office farming jumped to level 50 because it generates the most XP. I went from level 40 to level 43 because I do moderate farming. But, now it does seem like I’m moving up quickly (now at level 47). But you’re right, means nothing except maybe a little personal gamers pride. Now, no more lurking…lol 😉

It was briefly available for clams. However, they’ve since pulled it back. I think it’s something for release later in the event.

Any ideas on when our exclusive character (joe) will roll into our Quahogs, or what his tasks, questline, or blam earning potential (if any) will be? Any news on what other things TinyCo has planned for us android users?

We know they are still fine tuning Joe, but have no idea when he’ll make his appearance or in what fashion. Don’t know what other adjustments they are making, but know they have made some.

I have been zapping mutant stewies for 24 hours now and they have all been off my Q hotel. Wot im pi55ed off about is in 24 hours i have managed to keep it free of ms for 1hour 35mins( i no this as i have watched the building timer count down to 2h25min). I need the items that it drops so i have cleared it every 4 hours but every time i get another on it. I have all my 8 zaps iv done on that 1 building. Why cant the timer run so when you zap ms you can still collect the building if it is ready.

Is it okay to build the event buildings ahead of quests? Will they automatically count as completed when the quests appear? Or is it better to wait?

Anyone else having trouble with quagmire dropping records? Hasn’t dropped one since ron Perlman showed up. Bruce has dropped puppies here and there. Just wondering since they’re both rare items..would’ve thought a record would’ve dropped by now

I’ve gotten him to drop 1 since. Remember they are rare so they drop rate is limited on them. Try breaking up the task with a 1hr task in between. Sometimes that helps trigger it 🙂

I’ve been playing and experienced a glitch recently. Most of the info in the game is hidden by a small grey box, which makes it difficult to play. A hard reset usually fixes this, but it’s annoying and earlier I had to turn my phone off to fix it. Sent an in game message to TinyCO and also took some screenshots so I can email them to you. Should your email have caps? Familyguyaddicts or familyguyaddicts? Thanks guys for the awesome blog and all the help you’ve given us.

Yes more event land.. Kind of like krusty land in the TSTO, but not that you actually have to leave the main game. If I owned krusty land in real life I would be a horrible owner.. I visit once every few months. Sorry for the grammar mistakes y’all, been having a bunch of summer shady’s tonight 🙂

God I highly agree with this. If you want to have all the decorations from each event out you run out of land as fast as they give it. so far I’ve been able to keep everything out and not store anything and I’ve gotten every item/building I can premium/free.

Not sure if this has been posted, but just as the android users exploited the glitch to get the event early, could we (apple users) exploit the login system to get the exclusive superhero Joe?

I don’t think it’s an exploit.
I DO think you will be able to get Joe’s costume with that strategy.
I’m leaning towards a loophole in the contract. By using the intended device to get your exclusive, you are fulfilling the obligation of whatever makes it exclusive (contracts etc).
If you own both iOS and droid devices, there is no reason you shouldn’t be able to consolidate your games 🙂 Just my opinion though, hope it helps. I also hope you get your Joe costume!!!!

I actually started the game on Android before I realized the app was in the Japanese itunes store. Having supported Google Play through app and currency purchases, if I am denied Super Joe on the basis of having started comic-con on my iphone, Google Play customer support will be involved.
However that possibility is the main reason I believe TinyCo won’t bother(the other being I doubt the have the time to go out of their way to anger what is probably a very small number of users)

Have you tried some trouble shooting steps to see if it resolves it? Force close, restart, uninstall/reinstall if linked to FB or email to save the account?

Hope you are all enjoying the event.
I just had a window pop up offering some sort of retry? for b&w reel.. This happen after CH dropped one. I tap the reel to quick & window disappeared.
Could you pls see what you can find out?
Also read Karans tips and they are good ones but for more Blam!, if you can play every hr Lois on her 6 hr task and Bonnie doing her 1hr task 6 times would give you 24 Blam! for 6 hrs. Much better pay out than their combined task.

Every time you send a character on a task that collects a “material” item (like a whip, movie, puppy, etc) once the task is done and you do NOT get anything, that lil pop up appears asking you if you want to try again for a cost of clams or outright buy one of that item for a cost of clams. It is just another way of speeding through collecting items for those that like the option. Otherwise, just send the character on the task again as normal to try again to get the item you seek. 😉

It essentially is the same cost (or at least seams that way) of speeding up the task. I prefer to save my clams all I can, so I just ignore them. 😉

Weird. I’ve never rushed a task or bought an item outright before. I wonder if that’s why I don’t get the pop up.

It is more on the rare type items that don’t always drop. I seem to get them at the oddest of times too. Tap so fast I completely miss them and only catch a small glimpse.

I’ve only ever seen this pop up when I’ve rushed a character but didn’t get the item drop. (And I’ve only ever rushed characters who dropped Jelly-Yo shots in the KOTFM event, and Lois, once, when I needed leather gloves for Falconer Peter… and only once the cost had dropped to 1 clam 🙂 The shots dropped every time so I only saw the pop up when Lois’ bucking bronco ride ended up gloveless.)
The cost to retry is the same as the cost of rushing the task from the very start.

I’ve just spent another clam in the name of science by rushing my Q Hotel! No pizza 😦 But the option of trying again for the same cost as rushing from the start or buying pizza for the same price as in Picard’s unlock bubble.

That’s basically what the retry is…reset and rush the task 🙂

This only happens when you rush finish a item baring task with clams and do not get the item, any item task you rush finish does this, not ones that finish on their own. You get an option to try again for a slightly reduced price(price to rush the whole task)or buy for reg price.

Agree with u … But sometimes u just get tired of the 1hr task and need a break sometimes… Peter has been surfin the bird everyday for me like 3-4 hrs daily n I get tired n then I put him on longer tasks… My aim is to get Lois’s costume I just wana hit 35,000 Blam really bad… So far I’ve got every costume … And don’t wana miss out ..
Gona b Iil tough for a freemium player to get 100,000 Blam I know there is still time…. But somedays ur tied up with work n other stuff and don’t match up to the required rate it’s hard to catch up..

Tinyco needs to put some buildings in the game like:
Bunny’s Blog Bungalow.
Or Cybersilly’s Secret Center.
Or Alissa’s Money Laundering Laundromat.
They need to immortalize you guys. Would be quiet easy tbh, and would speak volumes. I bet that kinda thing would be a high selling item just on principal.

Patrick Stewart has been kicked out of the Spa at least twice for me by Mutant Stewie so far, too. I sent TinyCo an in game message about it 24 hours ago, but have had no reply bar the automatic confirmation of receipt.

Sorry about that. Just give them time to look into it. It takes a bit to get to everyones messages, go into the game, find the issue, find fix for the issue, etc…They are aware of it. Trust me. I am in communication with them on the issue too. (I am a player myself.) I will post if anything comes up. 😉

Not having a go, Bunny. I appreciate they’re working in it in the background, and 2am Eastern on Saturday morning is hardly going to be the most productive time of the week for dealing with reports… 😉

Heheheheh I know. It is the weekend. Still…someone (prob some poor guy unshaven and disheveled) is burning the midnight oil to get through as much as they can until more help comes Monday. 😉
Outside that, I am harassing…errr…contacting through my methods to see if I can help in any way to get a resolution too. Whether providing info for those impacted or w/e. I want to make sure the games are working right too. I want everyone to get as much as they can and kicking out isn’t helping that.

Update – Mutant Stewie has taken over the Day spa again, but (so far) Patrick Stewart remains inside, relaxing.
No feedback from TinyCo as yet, but I have replied to the help chat updating them on the development.
Hope it stays the same now.

I knew it was too good to last. Logged in again, and Patrick is wandering about aimlessly again. I now need to wait an hour for my zapper to recharge (I’m not spending on batteries if he constantly gets kicked out, anyway), to blast Stewie and start the task over for the fourth time. Yet another update dispatched to TinyCo, too… 😦

It’s Tardis like in the glow but when it zaps away it looks like the phone booth from bill and ted’s but comes back like the tardis.

Just some tips if no one has noticed… to get extra Blam:
Lois & Bonnie’s 4hr task earns 13 Blam, which is much better compared to Lois’s 6hr task.
Chris & Brian’s 1hr task earns 5 Blam, which is better than Chris’s 1 hr task of earning 2 Blam.
(Do note you have to have Bonnie and Brian free)

But remember that while Lois is earning 12, Bonnie is free to earn 2 an hour by chugging wine, so 2*6=12 plus 12 is 24 by letting Lois swim and Bonnie drink

In my opinion, you should use:
Joe(Cop) + Bonnie
Jerome + Lois
Chris + Brian.
These seem to be the most efficient for the 6 chars. Unless you could do Jerome’s Bat task every hour on the hour, saving Lois would be more time efficient for those who can’t check game regularly.

I love the Bri-Bots! I’ve won everything except the Clamterprise and am loving everything I got. All new stuff! No repeats! Awesome price tag! I’m still going to try again for the clamterprise, but to be honest I’m more excited about having Patrick Stewart. I knew this update was going to be expensive for me. But, I don’t mind at all because I love all my new stuff. Now the only thing I need is more room! Lol! The quest for stuff isn’t light on the stuff part!

I tried it once and I got the swag stand.. I was not amused..lol. I’ve been buying myself clams with each paycheck (the 5.99 pack) but I dunno if I want to toss anymore away on this box…
