Hello There Clammers!
How are my favorite Clammers today? Everyone racking up as much Blam! as you can? So now that phase 3 Comic-Con Event has been launched, and Giant Stewie has been introduced into Quahog, everyone should be earning that Blam! at a decent rate. So whatcha gonna do with all that Blam! you’re collecting? Besides get one heck of an energy drink buzz, you’ll unlock really cool prizes of course!
While many items during the event will cost you some Blam! (or clams), the cool thing about Comic-Con is you’ll earn prizes at various collection points along the way. AND…these prizes won’t take from your Blam! on hand! After all, who couldn’t use a little Blam! pick me up every now and then? So let’s take a look at the sixth prize you’ll unlock during Quahog Comic-Con, Red Hot…
WARNING….MILD SPOILERS AHEAD
There are a total of 10 Blam! prizes ranging in cost from 65 Blam! up to 100,000 Blam! The sixth Blam! prize will cost you 35,000 Blam! collected. Remember these are total collected (bottom right) NOT current on hand (top left, next to cash). So it’s a running total for the entire event, so even if you lose some Blam! along the way you’ll still unlock the prizes when your OVERALL total reaches the unlock point.
Overview & How to Claim:
Once you reach 35,000 Blam! collected you’ll see the claim box pop up:
Once you claim her you’ll have to create her. Don’t worry no stuff to collect, it’s basically an instant create. However, it will still take you to your inventory and you’ll have to hit create.
Red Hot is part of the Fabulous 4 Character Collection and unlocking all 4 will earn you 25 clams!
She comes with a small questline and a set of tasks the help you earn more Blam!, so let’s break them down for you.
Questline:

Lois starts
Have Lois Swim in Geek Garbage- 6hrs, Earns $65, 45xp and 12 Blam!
Earn Red Hot Lois Event Prize- Reach 35,000 Blam!
Completed Task Earns 50 Blam! and 35xp

Lois starts
Have Red Hot Throw Fire- 1hr, Earns $20, 12xp and 4 Blam!
Have Red Hot Burn Dinner- 12hrs, Earns $100, 65xp and 20 Blam!

Personal Opinion:
I like this one. I’m a fan of the costume for Lois and glad you don’t have to collect stuff to completely unlock (just 35,000 Blam!). Also, happy to finally have a full set of tasks for Lois to earn Blam!, just wish it hit sooner than 35,000 Blam! so you can utilize Lois a little more early on. Otherwise, I’m a fan. Although she only has 1 outdoor task…(she could use a few more…*hint hint hint* TinyCo)

I like it, always nice to have another character going for Blam!
I also like the 50 free clams that Tiny Co are giving because of the big glitch. Shame it doesn’t take me up to 150 so I can buy the nifty fifty diner and I’ve already spent my allotted money on the game this month but 50 free clams is always nice.

Has everyone received the 50 free clams that TinyCo just gave ? Was that for the problems we had that the game went down for many hours?

Looks as if TinyCo came through for us in regards to the crash glitch – 50 free clams! Nice! Now waiting (still) for the android exclusive stuff… Anyone know what the requirements will be to unlock the next car after Blaze? I hope its not having to vanquish giant stewie X number of times – that interferes with getting a good streak going with increasing blam payouts. Thanks!

I am totally a fan of “red hot” she is awesome. Like you, Alissa, I def wish there were more outdoor tasks maybe a pesticide task would also be useful. I just claimed my robuttasarus… He is cool. I just wish there was sound with his action. A Roar would go along nicely with his lightning spit. Other than that I’m trilled with this event. Even more thrilled with the free clam giveaway just now!! 😉

Anybody else just open their game and get 50 free clams for helping with a loading glitch? I just opened my game and had a text box pop up and said tap ok for 50 free clams. I apparently helped tinyco with a loading glitch and it was my reward. F@#K YEAH!!

Hey, just logged in and got 50 free clams for “being awesome” 🙂 I think that’s pretty awesome and makes me a bit less bad about the clams I spent on Rupert whoring pesticide. I mean what else would an imaginary teddybear/buff bear dude sell on the street? =\

I just got 50 free clams! There was a new questline to open and it basically said claim 50 free clams for helping us work through the bugs this weekend. That’s pretty nice of them 🙂

Just thought I would pipe in and say I was awarded 50 Clams from TinyCo. Not sure if it was because I emailed them about the crash issue, or if they are just offering them up to everybody who endured the issue.

Woop tinyco have given me (and I assume everyone) a 50 clam gift to say sorry and thanks for helping fix the glitch – nice gesture as although annoying wasn’t the end of the world and this can cut days off tasks! The only thing missing on mine now is the trees in the places I haven’t cleared yet and giant stewie is dropping nothing but can’t complain!

Hey just thought I’d let you know I got a quest started by Peter saying thanks for helping with the bug and I got a reward or 50 clams, I’m a on apple iPad, just wonder if it’s happened to anyone else?

I think Lois should be dropping pesticides. My reasoning for this is because the event instructions for how to defeat giant stewie indicated that pesticides could be collected from costumed characters. This would help keep pesticide production up while sending Peter on extra-rare sundae tasks. I do wonder if one of Lois’s tasks will be to collect another item for the next iteration of mutant stewies.

I know this is unrelated, but I just logged on to my game after not playing since this morning (spotty 3G connection) and a new quest notification appeared… It said something along the lines of “click here to claim your 50 free clams for helping us fix a loading bug”. Awesome!

Unlocked her and finishing up her first quest in the next hour. Disappointed she doesn’t have a task that earns pesticides. I guess the AskJeeves issue is gone.

Just want to drop a warning to all: If you try to create Red Hot Lois while you have Blobulous creating (or, I bet any other costume), even though it doesn’t take you through the Al Harrington’s menu, it will not only cancel the creation of the costume – but you will LOSE ALL ITEMS AND BLAM from your collection and have to collect again from scratch. Not sure if this is a known bug or not. Was not very happy when it happened to me this morning.

The Ask Jeeves building was brought in to the game, but had issues. No word on its return as of yet, but it is being looked into.
