Well, we’ve all made it through another “work week” (kinda, sorta, almost) and the weekend looms large up ahead. All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game (What the event isn’t going to be released on Android for a WEEK?!) and we wanted to give you (and us) a fun new way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest.

Here’s my What the Hell?! For this week:
-Three different types of Mutant Stewies? Really?! How many times is this kid gonna morph during Comic-Con?…what the hell?!
-The game crashing last weekend. Who knew 3 Rupert Boxes would cripple Quahog?! What the hell?!
-And finally…lately there seems to be an over abundance of drivers on my commute to work who decide it’s cool to drive 10 miles BELOW the speed limit. I’m usually not in a rush to get to work myself, but geez could thee people at least do the speed limit? WHAT THE HELL?!

The new update crashes half way through download, tries to continue the install, game loads but crashes so many times. Really frustrating as I’m missing out on the new updates. I’ve uninstalled, re-installed, killed processes in the background, I get stability for a while but for reason TQ4S crashes out again. This also effects the time to recharge the zapper.
I’m on S3 mini on 4.1.2
Any ideas on what to do?

Outside the standard suggestions and troubleshooting you are already trying…I would say that contacting TinyCo is the next step to see if other players are running into same on that device.

WTH…ummmm….let’s see…WTH is up with blam? I’m going to have a massive amount of unspendable blam unless they add some decorations similar to the Evil Monkey Shrine (I think they were like 10k butts each), some booty boxes or a nice hefty NF pricetag. Tinyco has proven innovative…I’m sure I will be pleasantly surprised.

My guy says some months ago, “Hey, honey? You know how you aren’t a fan of games of skill, or point & shoot games? Well, there’s this new FamilyGuy app coming out. You can play at your own pace. I think you’ll like it.” 🙂 Fast forward to now: Get arthritic hands trying to capture 300 stewies! Skill required to complete this point & shoot game! 😉

I can never find my characters wandering around town, and now, suddenly, as I’m collecting Stewies in one place, EVERY character NOT in a building ALL magically converge in that very spot! Nice. 🙂

Okay, I have another WTH for this week… I just got George Takei and I was so waiting for “Oh my” but there is too much going on with the game and Stewie – so I don’t get any sounds from the game. They have posted a message about lack of sound issues in the game… But seriously WTH?

I wanted to tap it away but in that split second the message must have closed itself and I now am 180 clams lighter…
I was tricked into buying bombs…
I have no need for bombs … There is not enough stewies spawning to keep up with the drops from nerds and tasks anyway…
So yeah … WTH…
I tapped my but of for months for those clams… One tap and boom… Gone for nothing but useless bombs .. they should take me to the shop rather then shove em down my throat in one tap…

Aaargh! What the F…amily Guy! Collecting my blam from giant stewie and suddenly I have bought a 75 clam Robo brian box. Clams don’t grow on trees so I have asked if they can hit the undo button for me, they seem good guys so I hope for the best. Plus the minions you see when you don’t have a rocket in your arsenal. I think either they are taunting me or the medication has worn off…

D’oh…was worried they would nerf the whole minion thing and it’s starting to look like they did (luckily after I went from 58k to 85k) lots of coins now dropping instead of blam for the minion kills, and haven’t seen them drop a clam independent of the quest since last night…looks like fewer blue shirts are dropping bombs–was getting about 1/4 last night but down to about 1/8 or 9 tonight. Luckily already bombed the heck out of them and got my blobulous sundaes and all of Stan’s items but the notebook…which is taking forever. So as WTH’s go…not really so bad.

But I did FINALLY unlock Ron, after the pet shop started dropping puppies… Now I’m down to less than 10k blam and the drop rates for Felicia/ Stan/Blobulous costume have gotten better….WHAT THE DOUBLE HELL!!!!!!!

Oh no! Make sure you report it to TinyCo…it’s a known glitch they’re working on resolving. But they’ll have to go into your town to restore it in your game.

What the hell is with the drop rates for the Stan Lee stuff? It’s way too easy, almost like Tinyco is trying to lull me into a false sense of security. Next thing you know, BAM! mutant Stewies will be coming out of my phone and attacking me! I’m onto you Tinyco and mutant Stewies!

WTH is up with EA? It appears they have given up on TSTO.
I am guessing that all their employees are too busy playing this game and forgot to put any effort into updating their own game. Then again maybe after seeing the fantastic Comic-Con event they realized that they need to seriously work on TSTO.
I never even watched FG on TV before I started playing this game – I have just started with season 1 on Netflix. But this game is so great and the Comic-Con event is so amazing that I have put a lot of $$$ into this game that would have gone to EA.

I don’t get TSTO…saw people on this site seemed to like it so gave it a shot…but compared to Quest for Stuff, it’s like a Flintstone’s car vs something out of Fast and Furious…maybe EA should go back to sports.

Won’t be able to access the new content for at least another 24 hours do to putting off the Fab 4 Building. Then I have to complete the rest of Enfant Terrible quest line. Sure would have been nice to know this was a requirement in order to move on to the next phase BEFORE! WTH?!

What Da Hell with the stupid drop rate of Jazz Records for Ron?
What Da Hell with the 100k blam mark to get George Takei? If you don’t buy clams (or building dropping blam) you will never get him. Like the Egypcian Event.
What Da Hell with buildings that exclusively drop 1 type of item and become useless thereafter.
It’s like that time when I had to go with a friend paroding the Matrix escene where Neo rescue Morpheus to Tiny Co Headquarters but instead to kidnap the CEO for teaching him a lesson about greed in tablet games at gunpoint.

The game is getting (too) big! 500+MB the latest update took two tries and almost 45min to download! And with the size increasing so does the crashes! I mean I see Consuela more than I see Bart these days! Two dozen times in the last hour….

Really mad that no Kindle update yet. Having a hard time getting enough Blam. See no way to get GT before event ends, unless TinyCo actually does something for Android users. Why don’t event buildings drop Blam…they are always making you spend it. Ugh, I want to hit something

Event buldings do drop Blam!. The Clamterprise and the Q. Giant Stewie helps with Blam!. Once it hits Kindle, these new Minions will help too. Hang in there.

I have 23 green pesticides and 3 reds. At 25x streak Stewie is require red pesticides. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

The game on Android has massive crashing issues on my tablet running 4.4.4 and my phone running 4.2.2. The more “activities” TinyCo has added to this event, the worse the issues have gotten. I’ve tried removing other apps that run in the background, reinstalling the game, clearing data and still I can’t play for more than 3 minutes on either device without a crash or completely freezing and needing a hard reboot. No error messages, no option to report the crash. WTH?!?

You can still report an issue with out a pop up or message. Just go through your game Menu. 😉
My suggestion is this…other items in the town my also be causing a game memory drain. So if you have a LOT of animated items (like from past events) try storing them to see if it helps to open up some memory for the current items. Let us know if that helps. Also make sure you run on a strong WiFi signal. Spotty n weak signals can cause crashes too.

The utter randomness of this game drives me to distraction again.
– Giant Stewie insists randomly on only red pesticides again – makes perfect sense when I have only 3 left, while there are 105 orange and 68 green ones. WTH!
– Little Minion Stewies randomly refuse to drop anything but Blam, not a single item towards Stan Lee’s freedom. WTH!
– And last but not least: only Lois can earn notebooks for Stan, while everything else might drop randomly out of buildings? WTH!

I thought that TinyCo announced that in addition to a superhero joe, there would be something else extra for android users to help get caught up due to starting one week later than ios. Is anything gonna happen with either of these?! What The Hell?! I did appreciate the 50 free clams due to the major crashing issue (wth), but still nothing I see that is exclusive for us androidians. What The Hell and When The Hell?!

Before I updated read a few comments that folks were ignoring giant Stewie for a while to bomb the minions so I figured well just let me bomb him all I can now so I can just focus on the little guys when I update…not knowing part 6 needed me to bomb him 3 more times before starting. So I just bombed him 4 times…and now I’m sitting here waiting for my giant stewie clock to run out so its possible for me to bomb him 3 more times without needing approx 90 pesticides. So I will join you all a little after midnight 😦

Not sure if you noticed but if you tap the mini Stewies they stop for a few seconds..find a area in your town where the mini guys tend to cluster and keep tapping them until you have a group worth bombing..should in the very least get five on up everytime..I always lose at least one getting the target over them before they move

A quick tip for targeting: open the bombsight before you start tapping minions. Find the place you’re going to use to group them together and center the sight there. Then close the bombsight and start collecting minions at that point. When you’re ready to bomb, open the sight and it’ll be right on target, assuming you didn’t move the screen while tapping! Bombs away!!

….I meant aim it just above your intended target… Opening the sight shifts everything down a bit. Also, as mentioned many times before, a good target spot is usually an intersection of roads. I widened out a 4-way intersection a bit with some extra road, making a little square. A great place to tap-and-bomb!

Yes! And I have been having the frustrating experience where I am tapping like crazy to keep the little minions in one area – and I know there are at least 7 of the little b@sta@rds in one spot- drop a perfectly executed bomb and then it says “3 stewies killed”. WTH?!

We are down a person at work versus last year and thanks to a local store going on strike our workload has doubled. Managers are going to get fat bonuses. I get snacks in the break room IF I get there before the cashiers. WTH

I’m frustrated with the total amount of blam! I suddenly need to build the event buildings I don’t have (montage training centre, mutant stewie’s ink, ron’s pets, felicia’s fro-yo, and the larping forest), create Blobulous and unlock Stan Lee. Plus unlock Felicia – I only have 14,000 blam! on hand right now and my total score is approx. 31,000. Its nice that TinyCo is slowly adding more ways to earn blam! through the different Stewie mutations and more celebrity characters, but it’d be even better if all of the event buildings earned blam! instead of coins (btw, why the hell don’t they?). I’ll need an additional 30,000 blam! just to get all the buildings and characters that have been released so far. What the hell?!

I got to 35,000 blams and claimed the Lois costume BEFORE the Girl on Fire pt. 1 quest appeared… And now the “claim costume” part of the quest won’t register as done… WTH?

Thanks for the help. Sadly it didn’t work. I made sure I was linked to facebook before the update, it said I was but I guess not. Followed your instructions and it put me back to level 1 Quahog. I keep sending messages and emailing them but getting nowhere. I would take any Quahog right now. Oh well. I’m done with the game. And TSTO is a major bore. Now what?

When did you message them? Sometimes it takes a little bit for them to get back to you, just because they’re so backed up with support tickets. But they will look into it for you 🙂

I find it quite annoying that with a big town such as mine, with lots of road, those mutants are all running around on their own! I mean seriously I hit 7 max and my worst I get 1! Also why after paying out clams for the 3 paid for characters are they not giving blam? I understand with later characters it’s not fair on those who only just started the game… but anyone should they want can get the paid for characters at any time!

So an immediate what the hell for these new mutant Stewies. Apparently the only ones that get killed are the one that are in the cloud at the end, not that get touched by the cloud, but run out of it. I’ve gotten 7s and 8s by dropping bombs in intersections were several are heading towards it, but that was after dropping bombs on clusters, only to watch them scurry away and end up with one. Also what the hell is up with having to move the map under the targeting ring as opposed to moving the ring around the map? Very counter-intuitive way to aim anything.

I can’t start the next part of the event because the bomb tutorial won’t initiate. I have Stan Lee’s flagpole (currently building), I have two little Minion Stewies near the Convention Centre, and I have a task in the task bar called ‘Blown Away Pt. 1’ that asks me to learn about bombs, but when I click ‘Go’ nothing happens! What the hell?!

Wow what timing for the WTH !!! Post to come out. I just finished posting about something on the comic con phase 4 post and when I checked my email I saw the WTH post is out : – ) .
It’s a perfect topic for WTH.
Tiny co please put an option to cancel a characters quest without using clams ( obviously not earning the rewards ) so that if the character is needed for a new quest line we have the option to free them up and start the new quest.
I just put quag on a 12 hr sundae task for blobulous and a few minutes later a new task opened ( after I did the collect 25 minion task ) and now I need wish to complete 2 tasks in a new quest line. Aaaahhhh !!!!! WTH !!!!
Ok it’s off my chest. Im on vacation for two weeks after this day ends. : – ) . Not going anywhere. The wife has to work. So it’s more of a staycation with a long list of chores my wife is preparing for me LOL !!!! But do I ever need the time off.
