Hey there Clammers. Bouncing on by to help bring attention to a few things we are seeing trend.
UPDATE: I have seen a LOT of players with issues of the Wild Animals glitching all over the place. I did send in a report. I ask you send in an in game message to them too so they can single out the problem in impacted devices and get a patch out for it.
So the new District 9 is now in our towns and more and more of us are noticing some glitches hit our games and increase. Here is what we are seeing and where it stands right now.
For ANY of these issues the standard fix is the Basics of Troubleshooting. Force Close, Restart Device, Uninstall/Reinstall app ONLY if you have it saved to an email or Facebook. If you do not, we STRONGLY suggest you do it NOW.
Missing Building(s):
Many players are stating that a building or three has randomly gone missing from their town. Double check your inventory to make sure it did not go into there. If it is no where to be found in your town, then contact TinyCo. Make sure you include the Keyword “Missing Building” and let them know exactly when it went missing and the name of the building itself. This is a known issue that the 1.2 Update should have resolved so they need to know if players still are experiencing it.
Missing Character Costume(s):
Lots of the Costumes seem to come and go while playing the game. It is not just limited to Rollocop Joe. This one also needs to be reported. Make sure you include the Keyword(s) “Missing Character Costume” or “Missing Character” along with when you saw it go missing and the name of the one(s) missing. This is also a known issue they are trying to resolve.
Missing Coins/Clams/XP During Neighbor Visit:
More reports coming in from players that coins, XP, and other items are just not showing up when tapping in neighbors towns. The items are adding to the totals, just no images. I have reported this issue and waiting for feedback. In the meantime, please report if you are experiencing this. Include the Keyword(s) “Missing Images During Neighbor Visit” or “Missing Icons During Neighbor Visits”. You could even be specific and say Clams, Coins, or XP. We will update if we hear anymore on this issue.

In the meantime we will keep an eye out for any other trending issues that are hitting the game.

I just got a reply from Tiny Co about the glitched Giraffe and Ostrich, they said that it’s a known bug and they are working on getting it fixed. Now my Long John Peter, and Mermaid Peter outfits have turned invisible, it was fine a few hours ago, but I just went to collect from him and noticed the issue, so I’ve sent them another message.

They missing costumes is a know glitch hitting many players. They are still working on it. Sometimes resetting your device will help to resolve it. Otherwise, wait for a patch. They DID send one today that should have helped with the animals. 3PM PDT. Let me know if you still are having issues with them AFTER restarting your device. Also, if you have your game saved to an email or Facebook…try an uninstall/reinstall to make sure you got the patch.

So does the Q Hotel not drop nerds after the event now? Because they said it would but I haven’t seen a single nerd since the event ended, with the exception of two nerds the day it ended who ended up crashing the game when I tapped on them.

So many glitches right now..
Biggest one for me is that my part camel from the Kingdom of the full moon event has gone missing. Already checked/doublechecked/triplechecked everything. Just disappeared..
The new giraffe also is glitched and looks like he has mega tiny on screen. Only when he is selected or when you are in the mode where you can move items/buildings he has his normal height.
And lastly there is a texture glitch for the ostrich…Soooooooo. Many. Glitches. Hopefully they finally react to something when I try to contact them.

We specifically pointed out several times if you do NOT collect all his pieces DURING Comic Con (Iron Baby Part 1 Completed)…then you WON’T be able to unlock it.
Now, if you DID collect all the pieces…as soon as Stewie himself is unlocked from District 8, you will get the option triggered from him to build the helmet for the suit and finish the costume in Part 2 of Iron Baby.

Hi bunny, just to let you know that on top of now missing 3 propellers my plutonium is not counting as well. Stewie and Brian both dropped a plutonium and neither of them counted. I sent tiny co another msg. This is absolutely annoying as I am WASTING my time sending anyone on tasks right now.

Yes I replied to one of my comments below earlier this morning. I noticed the msg hasnt been moderated yet since I don’t see it posted. Anyway I rebooted, reinstalled early this morning (went through annoying 5minutes of getting to logon screen) and still they are not counting. I did get a plutonium before the reinstall which is still there 1 / 10 but Stewie / Brian both just dropped one each and my plutonium still shows 1 / 10.

FYI …. Brian and Stewie just dropped another two plutonium. Counter did not go up. At this point ( 5:42pm est) I should have completed all plutonium requirements but only 3 out of many I received actually counted. I am still missing my propellers too

So sorry you are experiencing this. It seems this is isolated as my report was first they heard of it. (I directed them to your messages). I am not sure how many more have reported it, if any. But if others ARE having this happen too, they need to report it so they can see ALL games impacted by this.

The items are collecting now. However I am missing the 3 propellers I missed yesterday. The counter on the top right still doesn’t show up but at least the items are counting when checking the blimp construction site.

Did Stripper Bonnie have a quest line after she’s created? I created the costume last night, and I could have sworn a quest popped up involving her and/or Joe, but I had already sent them on other tasks for the night, so I couldn’t start it. But this morning, no stripper quest at all.

There are definitely a lot of glitches, Missing character skins (Long John peter, Mermaid Peter), Stripper Bonnie wont show walking around town, when visiting other towns you don’t get coins/clams awarded, etc. I hope they come up with an update soon.

Don’t get me wrong tiny co are running this game pretty well but A LOT of problems seem to be slipping in lately I can’t see 2 Peter costumes and the game crashes if I do too much plus some of my coins go missing after returning from other people’s worlds for example so I just hope tiny co sorts all the various glitches soon as my troubleshooting doesn’t seem to do squat

It seems to be focused on images. I do not know if it is one thing triggering it, but hopefully they can nail it down soon and correct it. Just make sure you send them an in game message so they have impacted games to look into and test the issues.

My Kindle still has not updated. Tried reboot/uninstall. Any other way to force an update? My iPhone version has updated and I now can’t get into the Kindle edition ( keeps telling me to upgrade).

I’m having the same issues with the animals as others here have mentioned, plus the Coked-Up Giraffes animation no longer plays in full. When I got these animals yesterday they all worked fine, and did so for the whole day, I only noticed these problems when I woke up this morning, I’ve tried moving them, rotating them then placing, and storing them in my inventory and placing them, and some basic troubleshooting, but the problems remain, so I’ve sent Tiny Co an in game message to let them know about this.

I notified tinyco of my money disappearing when I tap my neighbors and not being added to my total. Just waiting to hear back! First time I’ve encountered a glitch ever in this game. So I’m not upset but I read your post to contact them so I did

In the meantime, try a basic restart of your device to see if it helps to sync the game back up and add the coins back.

Same issue as many others commenting, my ostritch is fine in edit mode but distorted and pixelated in play mode. Also my giraffe is nice and big in edit mode but really small in play mode:

It keeps re-enabeling notifications every time I reboot my phone.
That behaviour is virus-like imo.
My giraffe turned into a porcupine, and my ostrich looks as it ran it’s head trough a woodchipper.

They do actually. There is no way to know how something will impact individual devices though. Only live play can show those issues. They also pushed a patch through to correct the issue with the animals today at 3pm PDT. Is it enabling them via the app, or via YOUR device? If it is the app, let them know.

I have a small problem. Nothing important, just annoying. When I look in my Facespace menu the category Comicon Celebrities Too isn’t there. I still have GT and BC, but their category is gone.

Try flipping it another direction to see if that helps. If not, try a restart of device. Let us know how it goes.

I’m having some problems with the animals. I don’t know if they’re all supposed to have sound bites but the only one that does for me is the Beaver. I really wanted the Ostrich for his “Ha-Haaaa” but he doesn’t make a sound…and he’s all distorted. He looks ok right before I place him but once I hit ok he’s all distorted. Same thing with the Giraffe. He looks fine right before I place him but as soon as I hit ok he turns tiny. Smaller than the rest of the animals.

As far as the sounds…only the Beaver got a voice. Matt form TinyCo was actually in the WTH comments thread and confirmed what I thought, they were not able to secure the rights to the Ostrich voice. 😦

Has anyone seen travel animation for people where they disappear. I know that Rollo-cop and Stripper Bonnie become invisible if they have to travel to a different location (I will leave the game focused on them and it follows an empty spot on the screen). Once they get there if it is an outside task they just appear doing their task. Inside tasks just has them appear in the building list.

I have Stripper Bonnie, and the costume hasn’t disappeared, but she does (goes invisible) while walking around between tasks. When I give her one, she reappears at the correct location (stripper pole) or wherever she happens to be standing, and when I collect, she disappears again. I know she’s still there because I’ve touched the spot where she should be standing and got her task list to pop up, but if she’s started walking before then, the only way to find her is the new character finder feature (thanks, TinyCo!). I use Android.

I have a problem with the jumanji deal where peter talks to brian about turning the animals loose. I have bought all three animals twice still no giraffe and when it starts the quest it shuts down I have forced closed and re-installed still doing the same thing. Any help. Thanks

Don’t exactly know if this is a glitch, but I have had Mort do his swallow jewels action 4 times since Meg’s jail costume popped up and not once have I gotten a bucket from him. It’s a common item and I haven’t had a problem with Chris or Seamus’ bucket action. Idk if it’s just really bad luck with Mort or it’s some kind of weird, small bug. Any idea?

Per what info they gave us and that we posted, those that updated immediately will not be able to continue. Those that delayed the Comic Con removal and updated AFTER they patched it will be able to move forward. There wasn’t too much to the questline as far as awards. Just the standard few coin and XP.

I love family guy and I I’ve playing this game be this is getting pretty pathetic. I have never play a game with soooo many glitches and bugs and all that crap that comes with this game. I mean aren’t these people suppose to know how to make a game? To be honest…I don’t think I ever seen a game that causes me any problems when I play them. Very disappointing.

I’m currently experiencing a bug where the Build-a-Blimp part 4 is glitched and Stewie always wants to initiate it (he always has the exclamation mark above his head and doesn’t disappear, no matter how many times I tap on it). I already fulfilled the quest and it is no longer among my active ones but he still only wants to initiate part 4 so I’ve been stuck with it for some time now.

I’ve tried the most extreme: reinstalling the game and it didn’t solve it, so I’m pretty sure it can only be fixed on Tinyco’s part.

If you have done all the basics, then contacting them would definitely be your next best move. Some things can be a quick fix, others need a lil help.

If you finished collecting all the items to build it, you need to wait. As I point out in the link I posted for you about the new stuff, District 9 is released in stages. So you need to wait for part two to continue further on the Blimp if you completed part one. 😉

I tried to move my chutes and lads a few days ago and it disappeared. I scoured my inventory and it wasn’t there either. I contacted tinyco about it immediately. Yesterday they responded and said they had added one to my inventory. I open my inventory to find its the first thing in the list. But it says “x2” under it. So I place the first one no problem but when I try to place the second one the game crashes. I really don’t want two of them, just wanted to have less stuff to scroll through.

The 2nd one may be the “invisible” one you could not find. You can try to contact them back to remove it, but I am not sure if it is the only thing right now allowing just the one to be placed in the game.

I only had an issue with olliland today but my fb friends I could collect from… Also I commented in “what the hell” but it seems my quahog just started not collecting coins from MY buildings… They just disappear after I click and the money is never added to my total.

I’ve had this glitch come & go. The coins don’t appear to be adding up but if you check back later & coins are dropping, the total will be correct. It will have given you credit for the ones you were collecting even though they didn’t appear to be counting as you collected them. It is also true for items. I completed Chris’ action & didn’t appear to get anything but when I went back later I had an extra bucket.

Sometimes, like I said in beginning, the game just needs refreshing. A simple restart of the device usually helps out with most issues. 😉

I had a glitch earlier where I collected all my coins from my town just fine. But then as I was playing and the griffin house and another that spawns coins quickly, would show the coin symbol. I would click it and no coins/xp would pop out. I waited a bit to see if they would self collect and if they had turned “invisible” momentarily but nothing. Repeated this a few times. Exited out and went back in and was fine. So far hasn’t happened again. Thought it was really weird though.

in case anyone is experiencing this…..Quagmire just finished a task which would earn him a chance at a propeller for stewie’s blimp. he got one YEAH!!! oh wait, well maybe not….the propeller moved to the tope right of the screen but the counter never showed up. I went to check by tapping the construction zone in the water for the blimp items and sure enough my propeller items were still 1 / 10 as they were from earlier (is should be 2 / 10 now). so the propeller quags got did not count. I contacted tiny co and I am waiting their response.
i just noticed now about the propeller. now I am wondering how many other items did not count that I have earned for the blimp.
I also mentioned in the same message to tiny co that I tapped on a character in my neighbors town and all 3 check marks disappeard and the timer went to 20 hours. so I got NADA from my 2 whole neigbors 😦

Same. I have such a long ticket open…. and when I go to inform them of issues, I always forget some. I’m not being negative, but there are so many glitches, I can’t remember them all to report and really hate writing a thesis statement to them. Ya know? It’s daunting and I send so many emails through work, that typing a long, detailed report is the last thing my fingers and brain want to do.

In the meantime, have you tried the force close/restart/ or as far as Uninstall with a saved game to FB or email then reinstall? Sometimes there may be a delay in prize counts and syncing it back up helps.

Ok another propeller earned and not counted for. I decided to uninstall / reinstall since TC will make me do it anyway whenever they respond to me. Long story short, it did not work. I’m still missing all the propellers quagmire earned. I’m at 3 missing propellers now. So….reinstalling did not work

Hey after reinstalling the game I went to check the in game chat I sent them numerous msgs about this propeller issue and all the messages I sent them are now gone. As if I never sent them. I am assuming this is due to the re install but now i don’t know if they have my original msgs or not

District 9 is locked for me still. Just the blimp, stripper, and prison Meg quests. I’m guessing I have to finish Meg before it unlocks?
