Much like the Minions for Comic-Con you’ll now have to Stink Bomb the Trick-Or-Treaters!
SIDE NOTE FROM BUNNY: These Brats spawn out by the portal, move your maze over to the exit point from the portal. This should help to start directing them. More coming as I play with some items to make mazes. Feel free to elaborate on yours too. Post pics if you’d like. 😉
Where you are on FP Levels as well as Districts open will determine your Spawn Rate on these kids. Expect to see at least 2 every 30 mins Minimum and up to 6 Maximum. The total amount you will see will be at least 8 Minimum Total and up to 48 Maximum Total in your Quahog at one time.
Collect Stink Bombs to Defeat these little “terrors” and they’ll drop items for Ghostbuster Joe, Candy Corn and more for you!
You can earn stink Bombs from:
-Demonic Mystery Box
-Chris- Make Stink Bombs, 8hrs
-Bonnie- Make Stink Bombs, 8hrs
-Mort- Make Stink Bombs, 8hrs

The Traps also changed their timer from 6 hours down to 4 hours making it easier to get those Latchers.

Well, lets ammend that to ‘comes with 12 stink bombs IF you are one of the lucky people chosen to have the man’s best friend quest start up in your Quahog, if not you get bupkis’
and before you ask, I hard closed the app, restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, AND messaged support. Not that they can possibly see it before my 3rd challange runs out, so I’m on my own for that.

I am with every one else here on the week 3 quest. 14 hours down and I only have 3 done… And I have not received any smoke bombs from anyone. None..nada. The quest is impossible to complete without paying. Pisses me off because the only thing I care about in the entire event is the ectomobile. After this and the past 2 events, I’m almost done with this game. >_<

They lowered the trick or treaters required to 150. They also released Alien for 200 clams. He has a 4 hr task that earns stink bombs and the animation is freaking hilarious.

So the trick or treaters never spawned in my town.. From what I undestand Joe set stiff with the roll out mission, but that never happened for me.. My portal is upgraded but no trick or treaters? I did get the ghost busters locker and sign, but there are no trick or treaters in my town is anyone else having this problem???

They just had an offer drop to buy the Alien for 200 clams so I sucked it up and paid another 10 bucks to get enough clams to buy him. He has a 4 hour task to get stink bombs. While this is cool that he was added and I didn’t mind coughing up a few extra bucks for a game I love playing (so far I’m $20 into it and that is probably my limit) I hope they still extend the event.

I contacted tinyCo and they’ve said regarding the issue everyone has by not being able to collect 200 trick and treaters in 3 days, due to lots of people contacting them changes will be made by the end of the day. Whether that’s their time end of day or somewhere else, a change is good!!! Thank you for listening to your players 😀

I’m really disappointed with this whole event. It started with so much potential (Ghostbusters!), but continues to fall short. I don’t know about everyone else, but I have better things to do than log in every 2 hours to try to earn any decent items, and I certainly shouldn’t have to reorganize my town to bomb more than one trick or treater at a time, with 4 bombs every 8 hours…
Questioning if this game by greedy developers is even worth it anymore…clumsy design mechanics, no pavement or pathways, and ridiculous hurdles to jump in order to unlock anything…if you’re smart enough to check this page first so you don’t waste your 5 day timer to unlock characters….off to the App Store to write a review…

Obviously you’re entitled to your own opinion…but keep in mind it’s still a fairly new game. It’s only 6 months old…they’re still finding their way and learning as they go. The important thing is they’re listening to player feedback and making changes to make the game better for everyone 🙂

Oh, I’m aware of how long they’ve had to fix problems, I’ve been playing since day one…if it takes me a week and a half to unlock Adam West, then I think six months is plenty of time to work out the kinks…but you too are entitled to your opinion 😉

Ive upgraded the portal to lvl 3, but still there are no trick or treaters, no quests for bombs, no tutorial and no quests for it. Also I dont have any quests from portal phase 2, or at least there arent no one showing for me. I have quests for slutty meg (which i unlocked), for getting mr. Weed, for upgrade portal to lvl 5 and for Diane Simmons . Of course there are more quests, but no other for Halloween event. It is a bug with my game that not all the new content is showing up or do I need to do something?

I just had the same problem for me the issue was solved when I leveled up to fear level four. If you’re already at fear level four maybe getting to the next level will help? But this was just my personal experience.

Is there any chance of Tiny Co extending the Trick or Treaters task? I, like ALOT of people will not be able to do this in time. It is practically impossible. Really sad about this as I love the game but what is the point in carrying on if there is no chance of completing it?

One thing that’s really annoying with the kids task is the event has a lot of wasted characters, who are not involved with this event in any way, that could be helping get Stink Bombs. There’s Dr. Hartman, Herbert, Bruce, Patrick Stewart, Felicia Day, Ron Perlman, Stan Lee, Human Rupert, Kool-Aid Man, and premium celebs. If all those unless characters were used with the task time limits still 4 & 8 hours to get bombs it wouldn’t be impossible for freeium players to complete this week’s task.

Is it just me or is there like a secret trick to get 17500 spirit vials that I don’t know about because I have every character and costume currently in the game but I am nowhere close to getting Mr. Weed on the spirit vial category

Personally since you can’t tap on the kids like you could minions and Stonk bombs are insanely difficult to get a hold of without paying cash money, the 200 needed in three days is unrealistic.. Sucks balls too cause I wanted to try for the Ecto 1

During phase 3, the kids walk everywhere and I can’t seem to block them so I van blast a bunch of them at once. You mentioned a ” maze” not sure what that means. I only got 16 in the first 24 hrs, not sure if I will make the 200. Please advise..

It doesn’t really matter if I can get a group of kids together since no one is dropping any bombs. I have everyone that has a task for them working but zip since 1 bomb this morning.

Same here until just a minute ago. I don’t have meg’s costume yet but the other 3 have been working on it and pink brian, which I bought with clams because of the glitch with the candies that never showed up in my town, just dropped the first bomb of the day. I have 12 trick-or-treaters so far from the 4 bombs I received yesterday (1 dropped from a character and 3 from completing a quest).

I must say, I love the demonic mystery box! I got the 2 prizes I wanted by only playing it 3 times. I got the Haunted Manor which is really cool looking and i got the Happy go-lucky toy company (which drops stink bombs)! …and I’m really in need of stink bombs. I’m just happy because I’m never this lucky with these mystery boxes.

It is impossible to get 200 trick or treaters in 3 days with the tasks you have to do to get 1 stink bomb without actually spending any money. In previous events we have been given the opportunity to get each priprize required for the main prize in a reasonable allocated time but this really isnt and it put a downer on the game as I really wanted to get the ghostbuster vehicle but it rrwreally is impossible now

Have I missed something? I’ve been playing as a Freemium player and I’ve been playing in what I thought was a fairly optimal fashion since the event started and my Fright Level is currently 5, (I only just barely reached it before Week 3 began.
But there have been people saying that they’re at Fright Level 7 or even 10 without spending clams and I’m trying to figure out what it is that they’ve been doing that I haven’t? Is there some other means of earning tons of FP that I’ve completely missed out on?
From where I’m standing Fright Level 6 is probably the Max for a freemium player, which means that they’d been in roughly the same boat as me, which is the one headed towards Challenge 3 failure.

Everyone games different. It is all in the style and time YOU spend on what YOUR results will be. Items acquried, brewed, bought…will all add to the FP count. Just keep playing at YOUR pace. Don’t worry about what everyone is doing in their game. Do what makes YOU happy and enjoy the fun of the event. 🙂

Well I’m doing wonderful on the street a challenge I got two days two hours left and I have so far 5 to 7 out of 200 trick-or-treaters and I have zero smoke bombs there’s no way I’m going to complete this unless I’m going to break down and buy bombs with clams

3 eight hour cycles later, (12 chances total) no character has dropped a single bomb. 300 kids in 3 days? Ha! I have 11 so far, and that is from the first 3 bombs they give ya.

Somehow I seem to have been lucky enough NOT to trigger the Week 3 challenge. I’m 4/5 kids bombed for the Ghostbusters Roll Out: Part 2. So I’m going to sit on that for a few days and collect as many bombs as I can from character tasks before initiating the Week 3 (3 Day challenge). Yes, I do realize I’ll need to complete it before the week’s up, but sitting on it for 3-4 days first and collection bombs while I create my Portal exit maze will hopefully allow me to complete it.
I guess that could have been the strategy here for anyone who hadn’t jumped into the week’s new challenges right away. Still not sure 200 is possible, but perhaps I’ll have a fighting chance!

This challenge is ridiculous. One day in and I have 11 because there are maybe 10 kids and 8 hours per bomb if it even drops. Not to mention game may crash if I get 4 kids at once. My city is too big for them to cluster and bushes and hedges dont work, not even the halloween ones

I know alot of prople are upset about not getting enough kids in time for the goal but i am more concerned bout the long run….collecting enough candy corn to brew things down the line when right now its really difficult to get even one bomb from character tasks. Even when i do get one i have to be SURE to bomb alotttt of trick or treaters to maximize the candy corn drop. Basically, i hope there are more opprtunities to earn bombs in the future. I already sent then some feedback asking that they plz consider letting ghosts drop some like the nerds in comic con. Fingers crossed! 🙂

If I place the building and create the items before I dig up his grave will they carry over so I can unlock him immediately or will I have to brew them a second time?

Minimal clams (I think I bought the mid pack of bombs and got the ones from buildings and characters), and Zuul’s Temple (although it was Gozer’s Temple since Zuul was a minion of Gozer. Zuul was the Gatekeeper. And needed Vinz Clortho (the other terror dog) who was Keymaster to open the portal to Gozer’s Temple. But I digress…) is mine.
It’s pretty big. And awesome. I hope they add animation for it. As of now it’s static.

I’ve been playing this game since before the carnival event, and now it won’t even load on my Android 5 device. I can get to the tutorial but then the game stops respoding once Quahog appears. I can’t restore my game, so I can’t continue the event, and my timer is still ticking for the stink bomb challenge!

I tried uninstalling/reinstalling. I tried loading the game and letting it idle while minimized. I tried emailing TinyCo. I tried rotating the device (the screen rotates, but is still unresponsive to touch input). I tried looking for an update (no dice yet). I also tried rebooting and force closing the app. Do you have any thoughts I may have missed?
